My beautiful man feels a lot of the time like its in the sally rooney genre, the "there are two people and because of things and because of nothings they are like this and for who knows what reason they connect and this is the story of how their things influence each other and are influenced by each other. And ofcourse they have really beautiful and really ugly moments and ofcourse to some unknown extent what they have can work (maybe it can just fully work). I guess what im trying to explain is that it's full of a connection they can't explain or control but it doesn't feel like that connection is meant to make you think they're meant to be together in the fairytale/romcom sense, it feels more like "we've done this to each other, i made you and am made by you to some extent and this now means ofcourse that we fit together"

Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:

Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)

Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)

Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.

But in Japanese it scans as:

Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)

Psycho (short for psychic)

Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.
