Let me talk about a frustrating fandom behavior I started to call "The Capella-Effect". It shows up when a character's morality gets based on how mean they are to the main character or how much their behaviour criticizes the main character's actions.
And it get's waaaay more aggregious when the offending character is either a woman or a POC or both. Because they are often already seen as subservient to the plot and the main character (especially if that character is white and/or male). People get soooo offended when they cross the main guy. It's personal. Everyone else can get excused for whatever they do but criticize the main guy (or - god forbid- betray them) is a crime that can never be forgiven! The reason for it barely matters and how sensible it is from the "offender's" perspective, what does matter is that the main character is inconvenienced and sad about it.
I've seen entire tier lists that can basically be summarized by "how nice the character is to the main character". And that doesn't mean btw, how much pain the character cause but specifically how much they disrespect or are rude to the main character. It's not a scale of morality but how difficult they make it for the consumer to relate to the main character and feel their power fantasy without being inconvenienced by other people's opinions.
when you love and understand ppl having trans hc for characters but its always the skinny twink shipped with the male MC that's hc as trans out of a giant cast of characters
Idk when playing games, i talk to myself sometimes idk so that's what was going on ( all of that screaming and bro you were so quiet... T^T )
Ughhhhhhhhh and i'm so sry for overreacting to that storm lmao, idk it just came outta nowhere, and I thought if i kinda got excited abt it, then ya'll would too...

i dont rly have any major problems with the survivor mmr system because your job as killer is to not chase people who are good at running so the constant micro skill imbalance between killers and survivors literally doesnt matter but i do think its insane how many extremely high mmr survivors genuinely dont understand even basic principles of how to do generators
every so often i remember the great potential that was sternclay and lose my mind a little bit....sure I might be behind on the latest taz arcs but I don't doubt that sternclay is the best ship out of all of taz. amnesty isn't even my favorite but whenever I think about the potential of bigfoot x bigfoot hunter I start foaming at the mouth
12. How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?
hm let's see. I have The Big Doc, a celltw fic I may or may not finish, those two holiday exchange fics that I'm gonna be finishing in December, and three or four other vague concepts that have their own word docs but might not go anywhere. plus my plans for a couple of days of @fitpacweek! so I'd guess around ten or so
27. What do you listen to while writing?
ok I'll be honest I'm kind of a disaster in this regard. sometimes nothing at all, sometimes I'm in vc with friends (and the actual writing I get done basically boils down to nothing), sometimes I listen to my lyricless playlist on Spotify (which I also use for studying, and which definitely works in regards to not having lyrics to distract me, but like. the Ace Attorney OST is not always perfect for mood. once I tried to write a serious grief scene and then Lord of the Dance came on. it's an imperfect system) and sometimes I just put on my liked songs playlist. and then end up with something like Lass Liegen by Alligatoah playing while I'm trying to be serious about what I'm writing. and then the music distracts me because I go on search of something more fitting and end up fucking around on Spotify instead of actually writing so like. most of the time I just end up listening to nothing
HOWEVER I did recently have a moment where I was doing the Liked Songs version and ended up with a really fitting Glass Animals song playing while I was outlining one of my holiday exchange and THAT was fun. but like. those moments are the exception yk. maybe I should make actual playlists that fit the fics I'm trying to write but like. eh. I can also just write in silence it's fine
