what also kills me is that the game doesn’t think rowan died before alistair was born (it’s the books that establish that) and in fact the game says outright that eamon took the boy in “to hide his existence from queen rowan, eamon’s sister”. to hide his brother-in-law’s bastard so his own sister never found out. even loghain has insane lines abt half the reason to hide alistair was to protect rowan, that it would have “ruined” her and reduced her status in the eyes of their foreign neighbours (somehow??). teagan knows but isolde doesn’t, right, and eamon would rather fuck up alistair’s entire life than tell her? what kind of insane conspiracy of men
