Hey! So I figured we should probably have an intro post and since no one else jumped up to do it, I thought I should.

There’s a lot of info under the thing so, like, idk - have some chocolate if you actually read it all LOL

So... A little background first:

We became aware we were a system when we were in college in 2019. We were officially professionally diagnosed in December of that year and we’ve been working with therapists (and each other) since then.

The system has gone though a lot of changes as we’ve started healing, dropping from nearly 50 members to just the five of us. Right now, we’re thinking that the brain basically shook itself out and chose the five most effective characters it knew to be alters.

This most recent shakeup combined with our autism/ADHD likely accounts for how fictive-heavy our system is.

Without going into too much detail, the current system covers all of our currently known trauma, which we seemed to struggle to do before, constantly splitting or discovering fragments that dealt with highly specific emotions or reactions that we had no context for.

TL;DR: The system has changed a lot, but it feels much more stable now.

walking disasters week [5/5] revenge...

happy early halloween!! 🎃

I wanted to do something with junkenstein for the last day, and the best thing I could come up with was to turn it in to a game of d&d! I planned on putting in all the playable characters somehow, but mmd started chugging while I was working on that, so I just did what I could before it crashed lol

maybe the people playing kind of alternate per session? and mccree obviously helps rein keep up with everything ;D lmao please,,, ignore the fact that there's no dice,,, I looked everywhere for a set, but the only die that I found, I couldn't resize, so they were like as big as the room lol so for my sake, most of it's played through that digital board,,, thing :p

I wanted to use everybody’s halloween skins, but I couldn’t find roadhog’s, or sym’s :< so I just used her vamp skin and let her appear as an npc merchant (???) for things mercy’d need for her magic. I let sombra “play” as reaper bc I couldn’t think of anybody else, and I’m pretty sure she’d jump at the bit to if she could poke fun at him at the same time >:3c

this is probably before the in-game stuff starts (and before the monster really exists, since I couldn’t find him), getting the initial zomnics to actually rise. nothing like a little bit of magic right before halloween. it’s all hocus pocus, after all... ;3
