Okay so obviously this is an AU of Warren and Jessie (WJ for short bc ship names r so hard)

So only small parts of it are canon, like relationships outside of WJ specifically (and... Abby and Jessie by extension)

I'm making sure to keep these sfw, but dialogue may get suggestive so thos is your warning that this is not 100% sfw and you should read at your own risk!!

Nevertheless I'm slapping it under the cut bcs it's all screenshots I am NOT typing this out!!

Premise of the whole AU is that Warren and Jessie did NOT meet when they were kids, like they did in canon. Their parents still knew each other, but didn't push for bonding. WJ went to the same elementary school, then different middle schools, then ended up at the same high-school.

Instead of Jessie, Abigail was Warren’s go-to BFF for all her troubles. Warren met Andrew in middle school, and started dating him in high-school. They broke up around graduation. Warren got a GED. Abigail, Andrew, and Jessie all graduated. Abigail as valedictorian and Jessie as salutatorian.

Abigail and Jessie ended up going to the same college, but despite similar end points, they didn't really know each other outside of name in school. (This is very realistic bc someone I went to hs with, went to the same college as me, and to this day I know not much abt them)

Jessie is in for video games (specifics are unnecessary and barely relevant to story). I still never cared what Abigail is in for. Jackson (Jessie's long time BFF, found in middle school as well) is also in the school but in a different major.

Warren is Abigail’s roommate. Jackson is Jessie's roommate. Yada Yada that's all of our ground work!

Now!

Starting with Jessie's POV, and him meeting Abigail formally for the first time

We jump to Warren, who at this point is aware of the fact that Abigail wants to set her up with Jessie bc Jessie is cute and Warren likes cute people.

Next plot point is WJ are supposed to meet at a party, because it's a "coincidental" meeting

This part was sort of really fun to write (even if I was in and out of consciousness)

Bc thus far Warren has only seen Jessie bc of his tinder profile, which he (later) claims he does not use, but hasn't deleted [I don't use tinder idk anything abt it]

Also, it's been a while since Warren has talked to anyone new. After breaking up with Andrew, she's been in spotty and harsh relationships up until this point. So it's interesting for me to write her in a way that says 'I'm nervous to get to know you, but you feel so familiar already'. I like letting them be normal around each other.

[Cut some bit of this next bit out bc omg sex talk cringe]

(Proofreading while I'm drafting there are typos and like... literal consistency errors bc I write just before I gts and I rarely ever double check my info LOL)

Also for comedic effect Jessie is just a little lacking in the common sense department
