"We don't have to stay here. We can fly away and never look back." Is such a powerful statement of love, but only because Johnny Jaqobis really means it, and in a platonic way. And because he's also saying they can stay and follow through - he's willing to back Dutch's play, whatever it is. And he'll do his best to give her the tools and support she'll need. I love them so much.

I absolutely love and am consistently impressed that literally all of the women on killjoys, each and every one of them without exception, are incredible and powerful. dutch, our resident badass powerhouse bounty hunter capable of both snapping men’s necks with her thighs and caring for her ever-expanding team, whose expressions – often explosions – of emotion are always seen as a strength and never as a weakness; lucy, the beloved ship, is a woman and one smarter and more intuitive than anyone outside of team awesome force (who rely on her for their literal survival as she constantly saves their asses) believes; the surrogates with guns who sacrificed themselves for their sisters and stuck to their principles despite ridicule and dismissal; pawter as both a drug addict struggling with self-doubt and a competent, caring doctor who devotes her talent and skills to the people of westerly; delle seyah kendry, a manipulative sociopathic socialite whose strength is how well she can play people; aneela, another manipulative sociopath but also a scientist, extremely ruthless and exceedingly gentle all at once (which is never seen as a contradiction or an impossibility – she is allowed to be both and to choose to be both); clara as a badass amputee who takes no shit from any one and fights for herself and her friends and community at every possible turn; zeph, the brilliant self-taught scientist who solves each and every problem she comes across; even the lady is presented over and over again in a woman’s mind and body using a woman’s voice, an example of ambition and desperation and desire. the strength and the force and the ability of women is never, ever questioned (or defined in terms of strength or force or ability “for a woman”) – only emphasized, supported, and immediately obeyed. it is such a fucking relief to watch a show that finally reflects the women I know in real life, that reflects the strengths and weaknesses I know, the complexities, the forces of will, the absolute power. thank fuck for killjoys and thank fuck for michelle lovretta.

Please Killjoys fandom
I need someone to yell with about the hopeless gay disasters that are Aneela and Delle Seyah Kendry. (With maybe some Dutch and Delle Seyah Kendry mixed in there)
I have no one to cry with about Killjoys and its eating me alive. Someone pls scream their feelings at me.

As usual we can’t tell what side Khlyen is on. I know he’s doing whatever he’s doing to protect Dutch and Aneela and maybe even Jaq too but I can’t tell what his plan is and if he’s gonna hurt any of Dutch’s friends........like whatever his plan is is probably gonna change now that he thinks Dutch is dead (but I doubt he’ll think that for long with the recording device he has on Pree he’ll probs soon learn she’s alive) like I’m pretty sure he has a big plan for Westerly and he had The Lady put Dutch in the prison to like keep her protected from the lady with her memories cause he knew that she could take care of herself and I think he thought that Dutch would be safe in the prison while he started to set up whatever his plan is for Westerly to defeat The Lady. That’s why he never seemed worried when she was there and why he care up with the prison plan in the first place and when his plan backfired and Dutch was in trouble and they had to change course he seemed genuinely worried instead of “Everything will be fine” I wonder how him thinking Dutch is dead changes his plan while he still thinks she’s dead and i wonder what use The Lady has for him now that she thinks both his daughters are dead I wonder what her plans are for him

I totally ship Johnny and the Warden.
And I really hope they don’t keep him confused about whether he loves Dutch romantically or platonically because I honestly think that’s the one thing that would wreck them.
