Being a mortal and dating both Annabeth and Percy would include…

Author’s Note: No one requested it but for some reason, I got hit with some inspiration for Percy Jackson so here this is. I haven't read the series in a long time so forgive me for some OOCness. I just wanted to get this out before the inspiration went away lol

It’s because you can see through the mist that allowed you to meet the two of them

The two had been on a quest and as they were fighting the monster, you were able to see the whole scene in all its glory

But it also gave you a front-row seat to the action - the battle had strayed close to where you were hiding and one sword swing from Percy led the monster to get near you and take you as a hostage

The monster gave you a nice big but shallow cut as it taunted Percy but that was the distraction Annabeth needed to come from behind and finish it off with her Celestial bronze knife

After it was defeated, they came over to you to help you. Annabeth helped wrap up your injury - she had to learn some first aid with how much trouble Percy gets himself into - while Percy profusely apologized to you

The two offered to take you to a child of Apollo to heal you cause what if the wound has some mythical side effect. There was no way any ordinary doctor would be able to heal that plus it was the least they could do as they accidentally dragged you into this mess

And it was through that you began talking as you asked them questions about this other world you had no idea existed while the two tried to get your mind off of any pain you felt

This led to you all exchanging contact information where you three continued talking to each other until your relationship blossomed

I didn’t want just to focus on the meeting so I’m ending this here. Sorry you guys

Because demigods attract monsters, the two of them would teach you self-defense so that you know how to protect yourself

Percy would teach you how to use weapons though it is primarily the sword and even gift you a celestial bronze made by his brother Tyson

Annabeth helps you build up your agility and with hand-to-hand combat

Percy is there to offer advice though he can't help but tease you two when Annabeth pins you down and makes suggestive commentary which makes the blonde shake her head and try to hide a grin while you grow flustered

"Seaweed Brain, get your head out of the gutter!"

One of the first things Percy wants to do after he and Annabeth introduce you to their world is take you on a pegasus ride

"I don't know, Percy."

"Blackjack would never let you fall off, [Name]. You'll be flying with an expert here."

"It's safe, [Name]. If I thought this knucklehead was putting you in any danger, I would have been the first to stop him."

"Ouch Annabeth. Nice to see you trust my judgment."

"Well, your track record isn't the best."

"[Name], Don't agree with her! That was one time!"

Dating these two means you're going to learn first aid. Though they can eat ambrosia and nectar to heal themselves, it feels nice to be doted and fretted on by you so they come to you for small and non-serious injuries. Though they do get scolded a bit for being reckless - Percy more than Annabeth - they'll take it cause it means you care and worry for them.

You kissing their injuries better is a plus too

If you're not afraid of bugs, then Annabeth has gained another person to kill spiders for her which gains you a kiss of gratitude each time she calls out for you or Percy to kill one.

"Thank you, [Name]!" She tells you as you wrap the dead spider in a napkin and throw it away. Pressing a kiss to your cheek when you walk back to her side, she explains: "Spiders and children of Athena don't have the best history."

But if you are, then you and Annabeth hug each other for support in the farthest corner of the room as you both yell for Percy to come to save you two.

"Percy!" You both yell, standing on the couch and holding each other's hand as you keep a trained eye on the spider. You two slowly move further away but you and Annabeth let out a shriek of terror when it began walking toward you. "Percy, it's moving!"

The son of Poseidon hurries into the room with his shoe in hand as his eyes jump around the room trying to locate it. "Your hero is here!"

Annabeth would love to talk to you about history and tell you all about the Greek myths she knows. The two of you would bond about books and share your knowledge with each other. You listen with fascination as she shows you the latest plans of a building she's designed, nodding while she explains the decision behind each choice and in turn, she listed with great interest as you tell her all about your passion

"[Name], I saw this book and I thought it would be perfect for you. You mentioned wanting to learn more about this so I got it for you."

Percy would definitely like to brag about having two beautiful and smart girlfriends

"Did I ever tell you guys how we met [Name]? It's a story for the ages."

"Percy, you tell this story like every other day."

In the present day, Go Koga is probably the most loyal of Jin's Bount followers, on top of having followed him the longest too. The two of them are close friends to say the least, perhaps the only ones among the Bount who can claim that about each other, but if you think that is all Jin and Go Koga ever were, then you're sorely mistaken.

The rest of Jin's followers didn't actually start living with him and each other until about a hundred years after Go Koga had already been living with him, alone. Absolutely nothing straight occurred in that period of time I assure you.

For the warehouse AU, please tell us about Scepter 4 as the managers! How they interact with the homra boys, how they interact and what kind of relationships they have with the reader, all and any headcanons you have for this would be great! Is there any manager/homra worker boy duos that really can’t ever get along and cause ruckuses at work? Do any of the boys ever go to HR about the managers or vice versa?

Let me just tell you that they’re 100% done with everything.

like I mentioned on the post, munakata is the senior station manager aka the big boss. he spends most of this days in meetings, but when he does have some free time, he comes down to bother check in with his team. seri is the operations manager who runs the entire shift, while fushimi, the alphabet squad, and y/n are the area managers who report to her. Fushimi, akiyama, benzai, kamo, and fuse are the more strict managers, whereas doumyouji, goto, and hidaka are the more laidback managers (doesn’t stop doumyouji and hidaka from arguing with some of the homra guys though). Enomoto is the most timid, having a tough time to confront the homra guys on his own. Doumyouji has been in trouble a couple of times for showing favoritism toward some associates while hidaka had a stern coaching bc he was caught flirting with some of the female associates.

The s4 abc squad is already overworked and underpaid, having to deal with the homra boys just makes the job even more dreadful. everyday, these delinquents come in late, walking as they own the place. it takes a 15 minute back and forth conversation just to tell these guys to do their jobs aka what they’re being paid to do. they sometimes come in smelling like some questionable substances but theyre able to get away with it since they’re not acting any different from usual, and are not considered as a risk to themselves or the operations. Its pretty obvious that fushimi and yata are that one duo that should be kept separate at all times. despite the loud music blaring in the background, the entire warehouse can hear yata yelling and cursing as fushimi taunts and provokes him. after these two, i think doumyouji and bandou would clash the most. theyre both the designated jackass of their respective group, theyre super opinionated, and they’re both easy to anger. i think their similarities is what make them clash the most. there was one time where doumyouji was successfully able to write bandou up, without landing in trouble himself! he was all cocky and in high spirits until the next day he comes across his face plastered in “wanted” posters for being the most disrespectful and authoritative manager in the warehouse (yes, bandou was petty enough to take the time out of his day and make posters on photoshop). *and yes, this happened in real life*

as for the s4 team with y/n. munakata has the least interaction with her since he’s a busy station manager, except for their introductory 1:1 during her first day. but despite their lack of interaction, munakata knows everything that is going on thanks to the human resouces team, aka the silver clan. seri was ready to coach and mentor her, genuinely happy to have another woman on the team after yoshino resigned. but she was disappointed to find out that unlike yoshino, y/n did not have the same drive and passion for the job, and certainly did not mind hanging around those homra boys. y/n is the most distant from fushimi and fuse, since both are pretty cold and not interested in being friendly with her. they both arent shy about making it known that they think she’s an idiot, especially after they get a whiff of her dating one of the homra guys). while theyre not exactly cold, akiyama, benzai, and kamo are also not very close with y/n. at most, theyre polite and cordial (and theyre not impressed with her work ethic). Goto is just there and tries to make some convo with y/n which ends up failing bc he ends up creeping her out. Hidaka and y/n get along pretty well and he did flirt with her pretty hard at first, but y/n learns about how perverted he can be when it comes to women with big boobs, and soon keeps some distance from him. Enomoto is truly the only one that y/n feels comfortable with, which explains why they were able to get so close during their onboarding. Enomoto is a little smarter than he looks, purposely concealing his love for h*ntai and p*rn so that y/n doesn’t get creeped out. He picks up a good chunk of y/n’s workload so that she can go home early, just so he can earn more of her trust. he may or may not have known about y/n’s budding relationship with the homra guy, but was he going to snitch? hell no! even though it sucks he’s not the one y/n is dating, at least he can still be her friend. look, he never really spoke to a pretty girl before, let alone become friends with one. so don’t blame him for not wanting to lose out on this rare opportunity, ok?

and yes i just had to put the silver clan as the hr team lmaoo. idk why but it feels fitting. but lets be real, both the s4 managers and the hmr associates think the silver clan suck at their job as hr. while they do think kuroh is the more competent one, shiro ends making most of the calls since he’s the head hr, and shiro is not the best decision maker out there. most of shiro’s decisions end with hmr getting away with disrespecting the managers and not following their job, which got him to lose respect from the s4 team. shiro later finds himself to be on hmr’s shitlist when he finally does his job and writes them all up for cursing at a manager, not falling for their excuses this time. everyone wonders how neko is part of the hr team, cause she barely does her job. all she does is eat, sleep on the desk, and run around the warehouse. neko is more of the engagement coordinator, but kuroh ends up picking up a lot of her slack, especially when she fails to schedule a meal event which ended up with a lot of angry and hungry warehouse associates

A date.

Their son, the boy who always groaned and complained about marriage and love whenever he had to see his parents so much as kiss, had a date. It was almost too good to be true.

Finally, Shikaku would be able to impart some advice about romancing a woman to his son.

"Who is it?" Yoshino slapped her hands on the table and leaned forward, staring deep into their son's soul. "Who's the lucky girl?"

"Well, I wouldn't say 'Lucky'," Shikamaru cringed when his mother leaned in a bit closer. "I don't think you've met her."

"Haven't met her, so it can't be Ino," glancing Shikaku's way, Yoshino huffed when he simply shrugged his shoulders. If this was a game his wife wanted to play, he would let her play it. "And not Sakura. Is she from Konoha?"

"No?"

"well, that's a little unexpected," settling back in her spot, Yoshino smirked. "The Suna girl?"

"Temari," Shikaku corrected his wife, a little smile tugging at the side of his lips when Shikamaru glanced his way with a look of betrayal. "Come on now, you didn't think I would fail to tell your mother about her did you?"

How could he keep such important information from the woman he had married? It was too much fun seeing her eyes light up when he regaled her with stories of how their son would swoon over the older girl, or watching her giggle when he talked about Shikamaru's obvious crush.

"Just like your father," Yoshino nodded her head approvingly. "Of course, you'll have to bring her over to meet us properly if this date goes well."

"you know, I think Lord sixth-"

"Lord Sixth has nothing for you to do the night of your date," Shikaku corrected his son before he could even come up with an excuse. "Go and enjoy yourself. It can't be as bad as my first date with your mother."

What a disaster that had been. an hour late because of a last-minute mission with nothing on hand to give her except some forget-me-not he had plucked from Inoichi's shop on the way by. How he had managed to get a second date after that was still beyond him, but Yoshino didn't complain too much about her choice of men so he must have done something right.

"Speaking of," Yoshino flashed him a grin. "If your father gives you any advice, do the exact opposite."

"H-hey!"

"I want this to work out for Shikamaru," she defended her words. "And not every woman is going to be as forgiving as me."

"You're forgiving?" Shikamaru cringed when both of his parents glared at him. "I just mean...Do you have any advice for me?"

"Get flowers," Yoshino answered before he even had a chance to open his mouth. "And I mean good flowers. Not forget-me-nots. Tulips or Lillies would be the best."

Not forget-me-nots? How insulting. Did she really mean that?

"You have your forget-me-nots from our first date pressed into a book," Shikaku argued. "They were good flowers."

"You stole them from Inoichi."

"I paid him!" Three days later and a little short on change, but his friend had never held that over his head.

"Are you two really doing this?" Shikamaru groaned. "Right now?"

Neither of them paid him any attention, focusing their energies instead on arguing about the importance of forget-me-nots and the value of not stealing from one's friends. Shikaku would stand his ground until the day he died, or Yoshino told him he was sleeping on the couch.

A good night's rest was not possible on the couch and he would gladly concede any argument just to be allowed into bed to cuddle his beautiful, correct wife.

1. Are you partial to a certain character/pairing or are you more equal-opportunity? If you are partial to any character/pairing, why do you think that is?

Hey thanks for the ask! 🥰

The pairing that has consistently brought me back into the Naruto fandom when I’ve taken a step away is ShikaTema. I shipped them when the show was first airing here in the US on Cartoon Network in like 2008. Then I kinda fell off, and when I found out they became canon I was like WELP GOTTA FIND OUT HOW and dived back into a full rewatch of the series in 2017. I used to be an exclusive dub watcher, so when they stopped dubbing the Boruto anime after episode 50 something, I fell off again. Then 2020 rolled around, started feeling nostalgic, needed some comfort, and jumped right back into another rewatch and reread of the whole series to now I think I’m bound to the show for life. But again, it was always ShikaTema and how their love bloomed that would bring me back.

That being said, so many Naruto characters hold a special place in my heart. A few examples:

Loved Choji since day one. He’d be my foodie adventure buddy if he were real.

More recently, Sai has especially wiggled his way into my heart. I have the headcanon that he is demisexual as am I, so I relate to him on many different levels.

InoShikaCho and Sand Sibling supremacy have always been a standard for me. Give me more 15th Gen background stories, more grandma Yoshino, and more Uncle Kankuro content pleaseeeeeeee.

And with Boruto I just love all the kiddos. My goal is to have more of them, and specifically more ShikaJin in 2023 🤞🏻

I don’t know if I can pick one singular favorite character or ship from Naruto. Every fanfic I read or write, and every fanart I see come across my social media dashes fills my heart with love for different characters and pairings all the time. That’s one of my favorite things about fan made media: it can make you see a character or pairing you hadn’t even considered before, but it’s done so well, it changes your mind/perspective and suddenly you’re hooked on something new.

At the end of the day, I just love to see people being happy. Whether it be little slice of life moments that have no plot, angsty tragedies with happy endings, or just two people coming together in love or friendship. No matter the characters or the pairings, seeing those kinds of interactions is what brings me joy. So, I guess you could call me an “equal opportunity fan” 😊

When it's time to sleep, Rudolph sleeps on the side closest to the door, making himself a barrier between the outside world and both Helena and you. After what Helena went through and how it affected her, it makes him want to do anything he can to protect the two of you from harm. With him being a nobleman and diplomat, he's given protective services which extend to the both of you so it's not like you guys are defenseless but this is something small he can do which helps you both feel safe.

The height of a Bount's power will always see them take on a, monstrous form of sorts.

It's a rare sight, of course, with only two Bount being known to have merged with their Dolls, and only one of those Bount-- Yoshino Soma-- truly pushing their power to its highest limits, but its true all the same; a Bount who has merged with their Doll, and who activates it's ultimate technique (which will vary between Bount due to the unique natures of their Doll's) will have aspects of their Doll's own nature overtake their physical forms.

Just like the Bount's Doll's and their various stages / quirks can be seen as being reminiscent of Shinigami and their Zanpakuto, this still-unnamed 'state' (unnamed because of how rare it is among Bount) can be seen as an anti-parallel to the Quincy Vollständig, at least in terms of symbolism-- where the Quincy take on imposing (and sometimes incomprehensible), angelic-esque visuals through their Vollständig, the Bount, in this unnamed state, exude a demonic, almost eldritch beauty that calls back to their existence as monstrous creations (cough heavy fallen angel/nephilim aesthetics anyone? cough) (8

Three headcanons that have been sitting in my head this week:

I think Yugiri would be familiar with and enjoy bonito flakes (Katsuobushi) and other dried fish / fish dishes since in Sui-no-Sato we do see fisherman and fish dry racks as one primary source of food in public; so because of this she goes to eat some she’s gotten her hands on and it draws Vaste’s attention because he’s never seen it before. She lets him try some of course, and he goes insane, instantly one of the foods ever for him.

They start splitting it together whenever its around but may or may not sometimes take more than they should if they feel greedy. Fast forward to them as parents and the kids want to try some so again Yugiri lets them try it, half out of curiosity to see how crazy they’ll react. If she thought Vaste got crazy then all three kids go out of their fucking minds. They so much as smell it or hear the packaging unwrap and they come running balls to the wall or bribing their way into a share. All you hear is one yelling something like “MA GOT THE KATSUOBUSHI!!” and all hell breaks loose. Yugiri uses this knowledge for other things (like bribing them back) as she should.

As I’ve mentioned they stopped thinking of more kids after the twins because of how disastrous their birth was. First off they were born two weeks early, which normally is fine since it scrapes the limits before being premature, but it turned out to be one of those rare bad cases. Yugiri bled a lot, was weakened faster etc. It was to the point she told Vaste if she should die then she wanted her to keep going, look after the kids, that she trusted her to bury Yugiri properly and so on very bluntly. They both got flashbacks to when Shiina died and what it was like watching her fade and her own last wishes on top of how it changed Gan.

Whenever Yugiri got too cold Vaste had no problem keeping her warm laying beside her, and Yoshino imitated her dad because even though she couldn’t fully understand or articulate it she still felt how grave it was. Whenever she needed care they both were there within reason, Vaste gave her simple things to do and didn’t have her around all the time to keep her from worrying. As an adult if you asked her she would say it was one of the scariest times of her life, and one of a handful of times she’d ever seen her dad terrified and helpless.

She recognized that Vaste tried being strong for her but that makes it hurt anyway in hindsight; that memory would be something she carries approaching her own family later. People might think the whole family resent the boys even a little for nearly taking Yugiri’s life, but they don’t. Yoshino at most had an inkling of that feeling when they were newborns but her parents talked her through it. Yugiri doesn’t regret having her sons because they’re her children, but she doesn’t consider herself stupid enough to take risks like that again. Parenting is about valuing your children rather than pumping out endless kids. She’s thankful to have survived another brush with her familiar friend death and it affirms her grip on life one more time.

All three kids now have light brown skin tones instead and some of U’odh’s subtle features; in real life the genes for melanin can skip generations or create new combinations depending on one’s immediate ancestors. I skipped giving Vaste dark skin from her father to avoid writing a hyper-violent and traumatized dark skin character; her children however are none of those things and will never mimic the evil things she’s done nor kill anyone. So I’ve decided the darker skin would pass to them instead.

Some O headcanons

After seeing some Xs (Tweets) from Puyo Puyo's scenario writer Yoshino featuring Ex and baby Ai, I decided that Ai is also not from Tetrimina. So that's five people from the Tetra Crew whose origins lie in Tetrimina (including Ex), two whose originated on different planets, and one that was created on the Tetra.

Also, to those coming from @squares-the-cosmosrectangle's "Catalyst of Disorder", the Tetrimina that appears in the story and the individual names of the landmasses/planets (Tohri, Orugata, Samanto, Zyvall, Lirara, Jaromeni, and Iamane) were based on my headcanons about the landmasses that appeared in one cockpit background in Puyo Puyo Tetris.

Anyway to headcanons we go~

O didn't originate from Tetrimina, but instead came from far away. He met a young Ex shortly after arriving at Tetrimina.

As mentioned in the Ex headcanons, Ex's curiosity regarding O's planet of origin is what sparked the idea of creating the Starship Tetra.

He learned how to understand and write English from Ex. His handwriting is still a bit unintelligible to this day, but he's trying.

Due to being with him for so long, Ex is the best translator of O's "pi" noises, even though there are a few times where he doesn't exactly know what he's saying. Tee is a close second, a bit recently getting the hang of translating.

Even though he's fine getting off his cloud for the most part, O can get stressed if he can't find it.

O can roll, it's how he moves while not on the cloud.

O can eat, but doesn't need to.

He has not changed in appearance since he and Ex first met.

Although he was shaken a bit when Ex had to leave to become the Keeper of Dimensions.

O remembers how he met Tee, but hadn't gotten to tell him about it yet.

In fact, he has surprisingly good memory, having been able to remember Ex and his existence (meeting him at the Edge of Spacetime the day after the amnesia set in definitely helped) and pretty much being able to remember everything that has happened to himself.

Since people are apparently giving Puyo characters song playlists, I figured O would like random video game songs that he stumbles upon on the internet.
