you can listen to darby’s little radio interview here if you wanna hear him giggling, but in summary:
- he doesn’t consider either injury a sign; he’s still going to climb everest, you can’t stop him
- he got 3 metal plates in his foot
- got his face bonked by a fairly slow moving bus clipping him while helping his friend move out of it’s path
- ‘the only thing that got broken is my nose and my dignity’
- again, this has just made him more determined to climb everest fhdj he excelled at the training and is hyped for it next year and agrees he should maybe be kept in a bubble til then :p
- might show up for dynamite on the 15th because it’s the area he trained in! 👀

I have spoken to exactly one (1) person in person in the last week. Which is probably not great for my mental health, but in my defence, once everything got turned in for the semester and my anxiety ebbed some, I just collapsed into a depressive episode and could barely make myself leave my bedroom for a few days
I'm good now, starting to spring clean the house and have a plan for making myself interact with people. Without the work/school routine, if I think about it too long it does the depression will sink it's teeth into me again. And for some reason now is the time my antidepressants are having trouble refilling. I'm not out yet, but it's getting close and I really really really don't want to go through the withdrawals again. Not a pleasant time. But not to worry, I'm meeting with my counsellor of Tuesday and have been calling about it as much as I can

I know it was like a week ago, but I think people have actually forgotten that Shelmet was a character in PSMD. And yes, he is kind of a jerk at first, but the dude was probably just trying to impress Pancham. If you talk to Shelmet when he has to stay behind from the one field trip, his dialogue is noticeably friendlier when Pancham isn’t around.
i've seen a few comments about this. it has been a while since i last played psmd, so i didn't really remember any of these interactions happening (and i still don't, and would probably have to play it again if i wanted to remember them), but it's good to know that he begins his redemption arc way before pancham does. also if you forget that shelmet is a character in psmd then :/ you're just missing out to be honest
take this too:
