i wanted to share some good news here because you have more mirai nikki fans/followers than my own blog: gasai yuno is a top pick for a pop up parade figure!!! please keep voting and we will see figure yuno a reality!!! I stumbled across this during the weekend on Twitter myself, so I was going to post the same news this morning! But I'm genuinely excited by the fact that she's made the Top 10 most requested — even if she's only at Number 10.

These are just the interim results, of course. The survey is open until midday on 8/22/22. So yeah, if you haven't already, PLEASE vote for Yuno on the the survey at the bottom of this page! This is our chance to make a figure from Mirai Nikki really happen! It'd be the second one EVER, and lord knows the first one is ludicrously expensive if it ever even comes up for auction these days (which happens, like, once every two to five years or so.... OOF), so it'd be the first realistic opportunity to buy a figure for most of us!

(Note that you probably shouldn't be posting the same votes over and over from the same IP address. So if you plan to go the route of "multiple votes," at least try to use different devices or a VPN or something... :P)

Hiyo! :) I have another horror film recommendation, this one for Yuri and Natsuki (if you're interested).

There's a 1999 flick called "Ravenous," centered around a Mexican-American War general, exiled to a remote outpost in the Rockies due to showing cowardice during a massacre of his unit, who then crosses paths with someone claiming to be from a group of white settlers who was duped by another army general into taking an impossible route to Oregon--one that left the whole party so cold and hungry that he, the lone survivor, turned to cannibalism to survive. In the course of trying to get to the bottom of the matter, however, the exiled general begins to suspect that something much darker and more supernatural is afoot--especially after he begins to feel many of the same urges.

As you might guess, there's a good amount of cannibalism and gore in the film, mixed in with some pretty potent social commentary and thematic musings about the legacy of Manifest Destiny on American history. Since Yuri was so interested in cannibalism and Natsuki in gorier films with body counts, I figured this one might be right up your alleys, too. :) It's a pretty solid film that's garnered quite the cult following over the years, one I'd recommend watching at least once for sure.
