This one is a rough one. Especially for me and millions of others who are inspired or even idolizes Akira Toriyama. Like everyone I grew up with Dragonball, and were inspired to either draw comics or mangas because of Akira Toriyama’s works. If it wasn’t for him, my art style would be vastly different, or even wouldn’t have gotten into drawing comics. My comic, Pink Laser, might not have exist without him. But even though he’s no longer with us, his legacy and the work he left us would out last even our generation, and keep inspiring people.

I should’ve posted this WAY earlier, but business’s been slow, and I’ve been busy with other things, so I keep forgetting.

This doesn’t happen all the time, however the last few times when someone try to pay me through PayPal, some hack keeps stealing their money from me and send me shady e-mails telling me some bullshit to extort even more money. So I’m only using Cashapp or Venmo so no one gets screwed over.

My Thoughts On: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem

You know I always forget that the Turtles are teenagers, even though it’s in the fucking title. Aside from that, what’s my opinion? It looks fine.

I’m not too fond of the Spider-verse Style Jittery animation that’s popular today, it kinda seems like taking short cuts in not drawing too many frames in order to save money but that’s just me and what do I know about it. The only thing that worries me is that Seth Rogan is one of the producers, yah I’m not too fond of him or his movies. I think kids will like it just fine, and fan’s will be divided like usual.

(Sigh) Now about April. Now before you read on keep in mind that you don’t have to agree with me, and if you don’t like my opinions you can simply click off and move on with your life without holding any grudge against me. Of course this is a futile request, but I’d put that disclaimer out. This is the reason I’m writing this, and my opinion is that I don’t give two shits about what people are bitching and crying about, cause it’s a different adaptation/universe. I don’t normally want to dive in too deep about what people are bitching or crying about cause talking politics in the internet gives me a headache when everyone has a very dogmatic and objective attitude and views on them. But any ways that April, much like the original comic (Who wasn’t meant to be draw that way and is a fully grown adult, Angry Joe. Fact check me if you want cause I can be wrong), the 80′s series, the Japanese OVA, 2003 series, 2012 series, the Bay-verse, and the 2018 series are all in different universes. Even then it’s not like people are taking away the original comic series so who the fuck cares. I certainly don’t. That whole jerk-off to her argument is equally as stupid, cause people will jerk off to anything on the internet. This is coming from a Japanese, and I’ll vouch for that.

I’ll definitely check it out cause it looks like a fun movie to me at least. I mean it is meant for children and if it offends you like anyone on twitter, don’t watch it. I’ll guarantee you that the movie will at least be just OK.

Have you seen the 90s He-Man cartoon "The New Adventures of He-Man?" It's... different, but it has its charm and I LOVE the show's villains. I definitely recommend it.

I have, but I wasn’t particularly fond of it. I don’t know why, but it just didn’t click with me. Maybe it’s the spandex pants and ponytail. I might give it a second chance someday.

My Thoughts On: He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe (2021) Season 3 (Spoiler Free)

Hey I just found out that there was a third season and no one told me about it up until a few days ago. I’ve been on a He-Man binge lately ever since I watched my guilty pleasure movie, Masters Of The Universe (1987), and found out the one scrub from Gloryhammer left the band and started a solo career. Check this shit out, it’s not that bad; my only criticism is that his vocals still feels like it’s burried.

Anyways, about Season 3, once again I’m talkin outta my ass with these reviews like usaul, so if I had to make it short; I enjoyed it a lot. Last season I criticized that the goofy moments were really goofy but at least still took the dyer situation very seriously especially the heel turn near the end. This season kept that serious tone from the end of season 2 and kept it going, with enough levity to give you a breather. There’s one moment with Orko actually gave me good chuckle, and kinda wish it lasted a bit longer.

I will say the character development has gone better too. While I’ve said that the show was kinda light in terms of character development, I mean I was comparing it to the 2018 She-Ra where that show was very character driven. However because He-Man and his funky bunch were in a very shitty situation to begin with, they were smart enough to take it seriously and grow a little more. There’s a small heel turn in the middle with one of the main characters that was pretty interesting too. Even some of the minor characters changed for the better compared to how they were in Season 2.

Overall, I hope there’s gonna be a Season 4. Although the new heel’s gonna get recasted; Rest In Peace, Kevin Conroy.
