Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 16-year-old girl who has not been seen since leaving her home on Thursday evening. About 10pm on Thursday 4 July 2013, Chelsea Southgate left her home at Eastwood without the knowledge of her family. Police have concerns for her welfare as she had recently expressed her unhappiness and had been acting out of character. She is described as being of Caucasian appearance with an olive complexion and long brown hair. She is 165cm tall with a medium build and a mole on the top lefthand side of her nose. Chelsea is thought to have taken a blue back pack and is not believed to have access to cash, credit cards or a mobile phone. Any person who may be able to assist police in relation to the missing person’s whereabouts is asked to contact Eastwood Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
