Want to know something that bothers me?

I can't take my dog to the beach for a walk because he bothers you and messes with the holiday... I'm not allowed to rent a house if I have a dog unless I pay an absurd amount of money upfront and monthly.

However, if I was a search and rescue officer I could take him to the rubble to find you after an earthquake, in the woods after you get lost in the mountains and you didn't have neither map nor gps; under snow because you made a detour not allowed off track; in the water because, despite the red flag, you have entered the sea and your life is in danger.

For a creature we heavily depend on for life-saving measures, it sure is hard to own one these days.

It takes 2.5 seconds to send a text message. There are 24 hours in a day. You aren't "too busy," its just not a priority to you. If I am not worthy of a few seconds of your time then you are no longer worthy of a place in my life. If I am the one initiating the conversations 95% of the time eventually I will stop. I will not beg for you to value me. I am not the kind of friend you want to lose. Because once I'm treated like an option I leave, and once I leave I don't come back.
