When there's a storm, we stay inside (One-shot)
--------------
Souma was separating the beans on the counter top, making sure there were no left over stones before dropping them on to the strainer.
It was Mexican week at the Polar Star dormitory, the gang was exploring cousines of the world. Today was Souma's turn to cook, he had found the recipe on a cooking channel, sure he struggled to understand what the lady said with his basic spanish, but he managed with the video captions and google translate.
When he was done, Souma brought the beans to the sink to rinse them, he had to let them soak in water for a few hours.
He took a bean and inspected it before popping it in his mouth, he decided to test how long it would take to turn soft.
The boy set the timer and turned to his tablet, rewinding the video again to try to make out what else the lady was putting in.
Onion, salt, beans, bacon, chorizo, sausage, cilantro. He wrote down.
He was pretty sure they were out of cilantro, it was Isshiki's turn last night making ceviche, and that pretty much used up all of the cilantro left.
Souma glanced out the kitchen window, it was pretty dark and cloudy out, but it hadn't started raining yet, he could probably run to the store and come back before it started raining.
He cleaned up the kitchen a little bit and took off his apron. Placing it on the hook, he walked to the stairs leading up to the rooms.
"Guys! You want anything? I'm going to the store!" He yelled out.
A light voice came from the top of the stairs. "Souma? Are you sure? It looks like it's going to rain." Megumi looked at him.
He leaned his head on his hand and looked up at her. "Sure, don't worry, it isn't supposed to start raining till five. Do you want anything?"
She gave him a sheepish smile. "Well, Isshiki and Daigo said they wanted some orange frizzy soda." She tought for a second. "And I've been craving some ice cream for a while."
"Awesome, mint chocolate right?" He responded.
She smiled and nodded "Thanks."
"Megumi!!!!! C'mon we're playing another round!" Yuki yelled from above.
"Coming!!"
"Be careful and don't come back to late okay?" She gave Souma a quick smile before disappearing upstairs.
He chuckled and walked toward the door, putting on his hoodie and grabbing his keys and wallet before stepping outside. The air was fresh and chilly. He loved cloudy days. They always felt like days where he didn't have to rush, because it was like the whole city would slow down. He loved spending cloudy days inside, with a warm cup of tea and a nice book, yes just like those tumblr girls.
He crossed the street to wait on the bench for the bus, hands now searching for heat in his pockets. It only got this cold in this weather, just last week they had been in a whooping 40 degrees Celsius. He often thought that if the end of the world came, it should come on a nice chill weather like this.
The bus arrived.
The minute Souma stepped out from the bus into another street, it was like a completely different place, the streets were bursting with people and shops already with their lights on due to the dimming light in the sky.
He walked around before finding a small grocery store. He decided to pick up what the others had wanted first, he fetched the orange frizzy sodas, and went to look for Megumi's ice cream, problem was, they were all out. He stood there contemplating what to do before deciding to buy the sodas and the cilantro and keep looking for the Ice cream somewhere else.
He paid and continued his search. Souma went to a total of five stores in his disappointing search for the ice cream. He couldn't for the life of god figure out why none of the stores had that ordinary flavor. So at his sixth store where he was throughly searching the ice cream aisle, an employee offered to help him find what he was looking for.
"Mint chocolate ice cream." He stared at the employee, with what he could only imagine was a crazy look.
"Ah yes!" He eagerly helped, fishing out one of the containers from the freezer. "This is mint chocolate, they just changed the name recently. See here." He pointed to a tiny writing in the bottom. "It says mint chocolate. Sorry for the confusion." He handed the container to Souma.
Souma stared at it with a defeated look. Of course it was. It was also the same container that he had seen in the past five stores.
He sighed before paying for the container. He nocited that he had probably spent about two hours searching for the ice cream that he almost forgot about his soaking beans and that he was on dinner duty. So he rushed out the store into a pouring street. The shops were closing and the only people rushed to the nearest shelter. Rain hit the ground heavily and a single drop rolled down the shop's cover and smacked Souma in the head. He was gonna have to make a run for it.
He pulled his hood over his head and yanked the strings to tie it securely. And he dashed into the rain. His shoes got wet and he could feel his hoodie start to stick to his back, but he couldn't help the tiny feeling of joy he got of running in the rain.
The breeze wet his face and he was almost sure that he was going to catch a cold from this but finally he reached the safety of the bus stop and untied his hood, falling back into the metal seat to wait for the bus. The smell of wet sand cluttered the air and he took a deep breath in and out, letting out a content sigh. The colors of the lights shone on the pavement, painting a picture that he couldn't quite describe. The sky rumbled.
Finally the bus came, empty compared to when he got on earlier. After a few minutes and almost at his stop he noticed a girl sitting at the bus stop holding an umbrella.
"Megumi?" He asked as he got off the bus.
Megumi leaped and gave him a tight hug around the waist. Surprised, he blushed.
"Im sorry, I'm just relieved, you were taking too long and then I tried to call you but you left your phone at the dorm and I know you didn't have a rain jacket or an umbrella with you so I came to wait for when you came back." She got out in one breath.
Souma chuckled sheepishly "Yeah, I got caught up with something."
Megumi sighed in relief. "Well c'mon, let's go back."
"Sure, here" he grabbed the umbrella. "I can carry that."
"So why'd you take so long?" Megumi asked as they started walking.
"Hehe, you see, funny story...."
And they walked back to the dorm talking.
Souma slammed the door open, loudly announcing his return.
"Souma you might want to change before you get cooking." Megumi grinned at his wet clothes. But then she squealed as Souma suddenly engulfed her in a hug, getting her clothes wet in the progress.
So they both changed and Souma went into the kitchen to start on everything else. After cutting all of the ingredients and adding them to the boiling pot of beans he only had to let them simmer. After about an hour dinner was served and he carefully arranged some leaves of cilantro on the plates for a finishing touch.
Everyone came down to eat, they even invited Takumi and Alice for a taste. And as expected they were blown away by the taste. Souma only had the video lady to thank.
And finally when everyone ate and left, Souma sat by the window with a cup of tea and just stared outside, catching glimpses of the lightning and counting the seconds to the thunder. A trick his dad taught him as a kid, to determine how many kilometers away the lightning had struck. Of course it probably wasn't actually accurate, nonetheless he enjoyed it.
----------------‐--------
The only light came from outside and the occasional lightning. He took a sip and sat in silence.
Sometimes, I really fall in love with life. He thought.
The sound of steps made him look back. "Hey, wanna join me?"
"Sure." A sleepy Megumi answered. Souma handed her a cup of tea.
A flash of lightning appeared.
"Hey, you wanna know a cool trick?"
-------------------------
So thats the end of this one-shot, I wanted to make it more about just a chill Souma loving life. Also I'm sorry that I started almost every paragraph with He, I didn't realize until later. Sorry for any spelling mistakes, I only checked it twice.
Anyway, I hope you love it as much as I did writing it, and let me know if you want to see more one-shots like this. And let me know if your dad also fed you that lightning-thunder trick.❤

Souma let out a sigh of relief, he was resting on one of the benches outside one of the buildings in the never ending campus, he had just finished his last exam for his most difficult class, intro to design. He didn't just have difficulty with it, he actively admitted that he sucked at drawing, and he would've most likely failed the class if Megumi hadn't been so kind as to help him with the final project.
It wasn't that he didn't have the imagination for it, it was just hard for people to interpret his magnificent idea of a giant octopus and a fire breathing dragon fighting over the last sushi roll from the couple of funny looking scribles that he managed to conjure.
Nobody but Megumi had managed to figure it out by her first glance. She had quite an easy time understanding him, he noticed. Megumi ended up offering to help him when the teacher almost failed him on his last assignment. He got a 90 thanks to her.
She was really good at illustrating, she must have done that a lot before she came to Totsuki.
Erina probably draws in cursive. He thought.
Regardless he was glad that classes were finally over, the semester was finished. And so summer vacation would finally drop upon them.
The sun settled right between the two trees that were providing shade for Souma letting an annoying ray of sunshine pass right onto his face, he squinted. It was hot. Perhaps he should go buy something at the cafeteria.
Grabbing his bag from the bench, he went on his way, counting the change from his pockets.
"Two Yellies please." He smiled politely. Handing the cashier the previously counted coins. What he got consisted of a small bag of orange juice that had been frozen. He snipped off one corner and began munchin on the frozen treat while storing the other in his bag.
That hits nicely. The cool treat was a favorite of his, while he was throwing the piece of plastic away a hand landed on his shoulder.
"Yo." Takumi greeted.
"Washup." He managed from the Yellie that hung from his mouth. Souma noticed the suitcase that Takumi was holding.
"Shu goin shomewher?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, Isami and I are heading back to Italy for the summer." He replied. "How about you? Any plans?"
Souma grabbed the Yellie from his mouth. "Nothing much, thought I'd head back to Sumire, see what's up."
A ding sounded on Takumi's phone. "Well I gotta head out now, the car is here."
"Sure, have a good flight, don't slack off in Italy alright?" Souma replied.
"I should be saying the same to you." He grinned. "See ya."
Souma waved him goodbye, but before Takumi left he turned and called out. "Hey Souma, if you're looking for something to do this summer you should come to my Villa, my grandpa's always looking for extra hands I'm sure he could use your help. Oh, and you can bring Megumi too!" He waved and left the cafeteria.
Italy huh? He thought. That could be interesting.
He grabbed his bag and his Yellie and headed off to the dorm.

36 for killua and gon?👀
"Everything was fine until you showed up." Gon pouted.
"Well, it would've been nice to know where you were. I called you like 5 times." Killua raised his arms in exasperation. "Why did I even give you that phone, if you don't even pick up when I call you." He scolded Gon, the way most moms would do.
"How was I supposed to know you deliberately climed the top of a mountain to fight a gigantic monkey just so that you could win a dare with a couple of 8 year olds?" He massaged his temple.
"The next time you leave to fight some mighty beast, at least leave a note."
Gon sighted and gave a nod.
"Now, let's go before it comes back."
Both boys climed down the mountain to head back to their rented room in the small village below.
"Killua, can I least go tomorrow?" Gon asked.
Killua squinted his eyes at him.
"Ok, nevermind." Gon chuckled nervously.
He knew Killua was tired, he had been training tirelessly with a nen master that also specialized in using electricity. According to Killua he was quite strict, and since they would only be in the village for a couple of weeks and then move on to meet Leorio in YorkNew, Killua resorted to using all his time and energy at the mercy of his teacher. And apparently his teacher's methods for using electricity were a bit more complex than he thought.
He would train the whole day with his master, and then he had to reluctantly spend his nights studying the more scientifical concepts of the flow of electricity. He was not content.
Gon, on the other hand didn't have much to do, at first he had tried to help killua, until he realized that he too, was not very good at math.
So he resorted to training, but it quickly got boring without Killua, so on one of the afternoons where he wondered into the village, he met a couple of kids that told him of the legendary Krosno that lived atop the mountain.
One of the kids told Gon that if he could bring back a tooth from the mighty beast, that he could exhange it in the village store for practically any item.
And so Gon began his own adventure, except he forgot to tell Killua, hence the scolding he had just recieved.
As Killua and Gon entered their room, Killua passed out almost immediately on the bed, groaning about how tired he was and how unfair it was that he would still have to wake up early the next day.
Gon on the other hand, couldn't fall asleep, he stared at the ceiling for what felt like hours, only to discover that it had just been a couple of minutes. He finally decided to sneak out. Figuring that he wouldn't be able to wake Killua even if he tried to, he didn't bother to sneak around.
Gon stood at the foot of the mountain, he was entirely certain that with his abilities he would be able to face the monster at the top, and with his fishing rod on one hand he started his climb.
Killua woke up the next day when an annoying ray of sun shone on his face, he turned to face the other way to see another ray of sun grinning at him.
"Killua, wake up." Gon whispered. "Our train leaves at 11:30, it's 11 o clock."
"WHAT?!" Killua rose from the bed immediately, he and gon spent the next few minutes packing, and checking out. Killua wanted to visit his master to say his goodbyes. Gon admired the level of respect they had, they both bowed slightly and Killua's master handed him a small object, before rushing them off to catch their train.
Gon and Killua barely made it in time for last call and then finally sat down on a booth seat overlooking the village.
They both let out a sigh.
"Hey Killua, what was that he gave you?" Gon wondered.
Killua opened his palm to reveal a green card. " I dunno." He stared at it. "He said to come back once I felt ready. That he has a lot more to teach me."
"I don't wanna read books again." He groaned and sunk into his seat.
Gon laughed.
He reached into his backpack and pulled out a chocorobo limited edition plushie.
Killua's eyes light up. "Is that?"
"Yes!" Gon grinned. "I wanted to give you something since you've been working so hard these past few weeks."
He turned the plushie. "Here, it has a pouch on the back to hide your stash in." He pulled out a couple of chocorobo candies and handed them to Killua. "And, it also functions as a backpack." He finished proudly.
"Whaaat?" Killua marveled. "Where did you get it?"
"At the village store, I noticed it the first time we walked in."
"But this must have cost a fortune, how did you get it?" He chewed on his half eating candy before handing the other one to Gon.
"I just traded a little something for it." Gon smiled, before biting off a piece of the chocolate too.

I’m Not Good Enough (1/?)
“You’re the best, Souma!” He heard, from a passing girl carrying the brightest smile.
“You killed it over there, dude!” A boy said while giving him the thumbs up, walking to his class.
“I wish I could be as good as you!” He could hear, from a shy girl on her group of friends. Her cheeks were as red as tomatoes and she barely made eye contact.
While walking, the target to all of those compliments just smiled and waved to everyone that acknowledged him. His bright red hair glistened in the sun and the warm rays of it bounced on his skin.
Today was a good day, it was bright and colorful, and everyone seemed to be in a good mood.
Everyone, but the girl beside him, who walked slowly, and was hugging herself tightly.
“What’s up, Megumi?” She heard her friend’s voice, startling her.
“Ah, Souma!” She laughed nervously. “It’s nothing!”.
The red headed boy seemed skeptical. Something’s up. He thought.
He stopped walking, confusing his friend, and suddenly got up and close to her face.
That, not surprisingly, made the girl blush.
“Something’s happening to you, I know it.” He said, while examining her fine features. Megumi, on the other hand, was trying to keep her cool, but her eyes expressed confusion.
She placed her delicate hands on the boy’s chest, and softly pushed him away, while saying, “I’m just happy for you!” She took a look around. “Look at all these people congratulating you for winning the tournament.” Megumi realized she hadn’t stopped touching Souma, so she quickly put her hands behind her back. “You truly deserve it!” She said, as her cheeks deepened their color.
“Thank you.” The boy said, straightening himself, “But,” He put his hand on his chin, “The real challenge is what comes next, you know? I can’t believe I’m going against Top World Chefs now!”.
The blue haired girl could see the boy’s eyes glistening with excitement, and she smiled. He’s so brave. She thought, proudly.
“I know!” She said, “If you need help with your training, I’ll be here for you.”
“Really?” The redhead said, as he smiled maliciously and rubbed his hand together.
The girl realized what she had said at that moment, and hid herself behind her braids. “Just don’t make me eat something weird like strawberries with mayo or pickle tortillas!” She said, while wanting to run away.
The boy burst out laughing. “You said you’d be there for me!” He said, between giggles, “But don’t worry, I won’t make you eat something like that.” His eyes shined with malice, “That’s why I have Takumi.”
Suddenly, the girl noticed the odd emptiness of the Academy’s grounds, and it dawned on her.
“Souma, I think we’re late for class!” She said, starting to run towards her classroom.
“Oh, crap!” He answered, while picking up his pace.

Hey guys, so, here’s the deal:
I took Japanese classes on this site called preply for a while, but I had to stop taking them since we made some major spendings. My brother had to get out of the city for college, and we couldn’t afford my classes anymore, unfortunately.
The thing is, I forgot to cancel them, cause I’m a dumbass, and the site kept charging my fathers credit card 100 dollars a month. That was two months ago.
He isn’t mad at me, but I feel disappointed at myself, and id like to pay him back. I want him to know he can trust me again, and that I am doing this for him.
If you’d like to, please commission me! I need to gain something in any way I can, and commissions are a great way to do it. If you’re interested please send me a DM! Just for 3 dollars!
I do OC’s, character designs and landscapes, here are some examples:

I love cookies, and you. (Soumegu oneshot)
Two days before Valentines day, and souma was hurriedly rushing through the hallway. A bowl and a spatula in hand, doging students left and right.
To be completely honest, Souma hadn't taken that bowl and spatula with so called permission. He was trying to sneak the equipment into his room so that he could make Valentine's day cookies for megumi there.
The truth was that he had been planning on using the dorms kitchen, but a last minute exam from Yuki meant that she would need the kitchen to practice.
Souma knew that the school's kitchens would be packed with people making their own confections for Valentine's and he was rather adamant in keeping his plans a secret from the others. So in a last attempt at making it work he had been sneaking supplies from various kitchens for the past week and borrowed an easy bake oven from ishiki, who for some reason had one.
Only ishiki knew of his plans and he knew that he was not the best at keeping secrets. But he only had two days and time was clicking, and he still needed to gather the ingredients. So when clases were over he rushed to the kitchen to try and gather the things he needed.
Souma entered the kitchen and started looking for the ingredients.
Vanilla, salt, sugar, flour, he counted the ingredients in his mind like he had done a thousand times before when making this recipe.
It had a special place in his heart, because it was a recipe that his mom had left him behind. As he gathered the stack of ingredients he cursed himself for not thinking to bring a bag, he just hoped nobody saw him.
Right as he walked to the door, it opened on it's own, and a very surprised Megumi and Takumi looked back at him.
"Souma? What are you doing here?" Megumi asked.
Before Souma could answer Takumi stepped in. "I asked him if he could bring me some ingredients, I'm trying out a new recipe tonight."
Megumi looked over at what Souma was carrying. "Are you making cookies?" She asked Takumi.
He looked at Souma dead in the eye before he answered. "Yes."
"Oh! That's so exciting, they must be for Valentine's. Do you have someone you like?" Megumi rambled.
Again, a stare that said, you owe me one was aimed at Souma.
Takumi coughed and blushed from embarrassment. "Yes."
"That's so nice." Megumi took a deep breath.
"Well, I just came back to drop off a book." She walked inside the classroom, left the book on the shelf and walked to the door. "Well, I'll let you guys be."
"Bye Souma." She flashed him a smile and Souma could've sworn he saw her blush, before she dissapeared into the hallway.
And then it was just Souma, his big pile of ingredients and Takumi.
Souma broke the silence with a snicker.
"So, I guess you have a crush now?"
Takumi's face light up like a red traffic light.
"Shut up, I was doing it to save your dumb ass."
"I'm guessing Ishiki told you."
"Yup, he's not really a secrets kinda guy." Takumi said.
"We'll now that you're here, how about you help me carry this? It's a good thing Ishiki told you." Souma said. "I don't think I would've made it past the door."
Takumi took half of the mountain. And the two walked the way back to the dorm.
The next morning, souma woke up around 5 am to grab the remaining ingredients from the kitchen before anyone noticed him.
Some butter, some milk and eggs.
Now to work.
So souma spent the majority of the afternoon, trying to figure out the easy bake oven machine, which Ishiki had left without instructions.
It had burned his firsts attempts, but once he got the hang of it, he felt like a god. Such a tiny machine contained so much more power that he could've imagined. It was a technological innovation. How had he not known about this before?
So he baked the entire afternoon, trying out all different shapes, adding different flavors. And when his butter coverded self finished grapping the last of the cookies in a beautiful small box, it was already 1 am, he wrote a little note on the box and realized that it would look so much cutter with a nice ribbon on top, so he quested into the kitchen to get a ribbon and to find something to drink as well.
As he got closer to the kitchen he noticed that the light was on.
"Weird, Yuki, should've been done with her examination already." He wondered out loud.
He peaked into the kitchen and found a literal chaos, bowls and spoons scattered all over the place, flour sprinkled onto every surface and what appeared to be Megumi sitting on the floor.
Souma leaned closer and noticed that she was asleep, her shirt was stained and her hair was covered in flour.
He smiled, and then he saw a little box, similar to his but bright red laying on her hand. On the top, a card read. " For Souma, Love, Megumi."
His face turned tomato red. And then he heard a voice.
"Souma?" Her sleepy eyes were looking at him. Then in a second she realized the situation and also turned bright red.
Impulsively, Souma handed her the little cookie box that he had made.
"Happy Valentine's." He said softly with a smile.
Realization crossed her face before she reached for it with a laugh, that laugh that always got to him, and his heart squeezed out of love.
"Thank you Souma, Happy Valentine's." She said, handing him the red box that she was holding.
"Thanks." He grinned.
"Wait! I have an idea." Souma stood up, poured two glasses of milk, sat back down in front of Megumi and handed her one.
"C'mon, try them." He pushed.
Megumi opened the gift box and stared down at a bunch of golden glazed cookies in heart shapes.
"They're so cute!" Megumi exclaimed, before trying one.
"Oh my god Souma! This is amazing!"
"Well you'll be surprised to know that they were baked in an easy bake oven." He said proudly.
"No way! I used to have one of those." Megumi giggled.
"They're amazing, I can't belive I didn't have one before." He exclaimed. "How about you? I thought Yuki had been the one using the kitchen for her test." He asked.
"She did me favor. There was no test, I just wanted it to be a surprise. So she said she would cover for me."
"Woo, I really fell for that one."
Souma picked out a cookie from his box and indulged. It tasted of sweet summer nights, the kind that you just wanna lay in forever.
"This is so so good!" He exclaimed.
"Really? I'm glad you like them."
And so he sat next to her and they talked the whole night, and ate cookies and laughed. And had the best Valentine's day ever. And that's why when Megumi fell asleep on Souma's shoulder he didn't mind, and when he ended up falling asleep on her too, she didn't mind.
And that morning when Fumio found them in the morning and yelled at them for the mess in the kitchen, he didn't mind, and when he offered to clean up with Megumi since he so proudly stated that he had been the subject for which the cookies were made for, he also didn't mind. Because any moment that he could spend by her side and make her laugh, was a moment well spent. And he wanted all those moments he could get. And that's why at the end of the day he asked her to be his girlfriend. And she loved him back and because of that she said yes.

One shot of soumegu, dedicated to my friend, love you bish, you can have my cookie anytime you want.😏 @timouke

Part 7 of this langsty fic, if I may
--------
Lance hurried in the opposite direction of the explosions, but with every passing second he could heard them closing in.
He managed to run a few miles ahead before a projectile dropped on their path and he was inmersed in clouds of dust and smoke. The bombs kept comming more frequently and soon Lance found himself trapped, he squinted at his surroundings, trying to dodge the debris and the incomming missiles that were dropping like rain from the sky. It seemed that the galra weren't very welcoming.
"Shit, they're too many." Keith cursed.
"Don't worry, I'll get you out of here." Lance said, out of breath.
Then, Lance heard it behind them, he turned around with a mix of surprise and alarm. And like slow motion a bomb exploded behind them, sending them flying like weightless sacks into the air.
He smashed into the ground, knocking the air out of his lungs. Coughing he tried to take in some of the oxygen, but he struggled with all the smoke. I think I broke something. He thought. His ears were ringing and he could feel something warm dripping out of his nose.
He tried to stand up, and search for Keith, but the most he could manage was looking up.
Keith was laying a couple of yards away, he was knocked out, through his blurry vision Lance could see the rise of his chest, which indicated that he was not dead.
He sighed in relief, and as his ears stopped ringing he heard chatter. He looked behind him and sure enough there stood a pack of purple robots and their ugly ass purple commander in the middle, and they approached them like some blood thirsty wolves would to their pray.
"Look, at them boys." The commander mocked. "We got them."
"Oh!" He came closer. "Looks like they are still alive." He sounded surprised. "I've got a paladin of voltron and his friend."
He nugged Lance on the shoulder with the butt of his gun.
"Ow." Lance managed.
The commander leaned in real close to Lance and smiled wide with his twisted teeth. "Don't you worry, we will take care of you and your friend."
"You're one ugly ass motherfucker." Lance commented.
The sudden look of disdain at his comment gave Lance a tiny bit of satisfaction. And the butt of the gun was the last thing he saw before it all went black.

Part 6 of this langsty fic
He held his breath, hoping not to hear the sound again.
Boom, another explosion, this time closer. This could be the galra trying to bomb the place to fish them out. They would have to leave, even in they played right onto their trap, it was too dangerous to stay iddle and hope that a bomb doesn't fall on them. The cave would collapse.
He looked at Keith, it was like the boy knew already what he was thinking.
"We have to move." Keith stated.
"It might be a trap."
"Yes, but if we stay here it's too dangerous."
Another boom informed them of the incoming threat.
Lance packed up his tools in his suit and turned to Keith. "Im gonna have to carry you."
Keith knew he couldn't object, there was no way he could walk yet, let alone run. He gave a nod.
"Ok."
Lance picked up Keith on his back.
"You owe me a bag of skittles when we get out of here." Lance added.
Keith snickered. "You have an addiction with those things."
"Well, you know me, always gotta taste the rainbow." He adjusted Keith on his back.
"Hold on tight cowboy, it's gonna be a bumpy ride."

This was my @kacchako-server Secret Santa gift for @clazyuniverse! The prompt was, “Don’t give me that look. I’m trying to help.” This is a headcanon I’ve had for a long time, and I’m glad I finally had an opportunity to explore it!
Falling is the worst part of flying.
Bakugou hates flying. Uraraka tries to help.
Unfortunately, they soon find out isn’t your average flight from Tokyo to Hokkaido.
“We have arrived!”
Iida’s voice cut through the silent, groggy bus. Ochako groaned and lifted her head from Deku’s shoulder, only to drop back down when she realized the bus hadn’t actually stopped moving yet. Deku shifted but made no attempt to dislodge her as he wiped the sleep from his eyes.
“Please everyone, proceed off the bus in an orderly fashion. Everyone’s bags will be distributed in due time, so do not crowd our teachers!” Iida emphasized his points with broad arm gestures; obviously, he was not nearly as asleep as the rest of their class. “Thank you!”
Ochako resigned herself to leaving the comfort of Deku’s shoulder. It was really a nice shoulder, all muscly and soft. She remembered when that same shoulder had been bony as hell. It had still been nice then, but it’s nicer now.
Okay, so she may still be half asleep.
She yawned and stretched as she stepped off the bus. They were at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, catching a flight to Sapporo, where their third annual summer camp was being held. What had possessed the UA staff to host the camp in Hokkaido this year, she didn’t know. Sure, the camp itself would be fun, but wrestling twenty super-powered teens through an airport?
Not so much.

Something cheesy
-----------
The smell of freshly grounded coffee beans filled the air, and the sounds of people calmly chatting, milk pouring, and rapid keyboard typing adorned the atmosphere.
At a table in the corner of the small, cozy café, there was a young boy. He was nervously fiddling with one of his soft blond locks while anxiously checking his phone every few seconds.
“Come on, Nino…!” He mumbled. “Where the hell are you?”
He looked at his surroundings carefully, as if he was hiding from someone. His gaze quickly examining the place and then returning to his phone. You could see his eyes moving rapidly from one table to another, wondering where his friend was. Was Adrien stood up? No. Nino wouldn’t be like that. There must be a reason Nino is this late. There must be something going on. There must be-
“Hey!"
Adrien’s thoughts were interrupted by one of the baristas. Her apron was subtly stained with coffee and she had styled her dark hair in a high bun.
The boy almost felt like she had broken into him, since he was too absorbed in his own thoughts.
“I noticed you’re almost finished with your coffee. Do you want me to bring you another one?” She smiled kindly, gazing into Adrien’s bright green eyes. That made him embarrassed. He was not used to strangers being so warm to him.
“Ah-ah…” He stuttered. “Ah, yes. Please, thank you.” He had not noticed that his cup was almost empty.
“Okay! Coming right up!” The girl smiled once again, and she leaned over to take Adrien’s cup. “I’m Marinette, in case you need anything else.” As she walked over to refill the boy’s cup with the Cappuccino Macchiato he had ordered, she stumbled on the counter, spilling what Adrien had left over in his cup. This was followed by a soft giggle, and a very worried gaze from her.
“Ah, Sorry about that!” He heard her say. Adrien thought her reaction was kind of cute, so he let out a light, silly laugh. After that, the boy’s phone buzzed strongly, catching him out a little. It was a text from Nino, reading “Sorry man, I’m running a little late!”
Yeah. No shit, Sherlock, Adrien thought. He had snuck out from his father’s claws to hang out with Nino for a while and he had the audacity to be running late? The blond thought Natalie was probably beginning to wonder about his whereabouts by now and he didn’t have much time left to spend waiting for his friend. He was annoyed. Impulsively, Adrien typed “Yeah, I got no time left to wait for you. I think I’m better off returning home. I don’t want my father to get angrier than he probably is right now.” Adrien knew he was going to regret sending that in the near future, but hell, he was pretty mad at his friend. Reluctantly, he picked up his bag and left a couple five dollar bills on the table. He knew that what he did was not worthy of a punishment. He had just gone to a café, but knowing his father... Well, Adrien expected to be grounded for the next five years at least.
He absentmindedly began walking towards the exit, dragging his steps. Just as his hand approached the door handle, a young girl interrupted him. She was holding Adrien’s Capuccino, and she gave him a look of expectation.
“Oh, you won’t be drinking your coffee anymore?” She asked, tilting her head.
Adrien was taken a back a little. “Ah, no! But I left the money on my table!” He said.
With that, Marinette turned herself over to see the bills Adrien had left, and when she turned her gaze back to the boy, he had left. He had scurried away, and his money was just enough to pay for his two coffees. The young girl was left wondering why the boy seemed in such a hurry, but ultimately she payed no attention to it.

I'll be right there 2
Part 1- Part 2
------------------------------
Souma and Megumi headed into the kitchen to make some breakfast.
"Sit down, I got it." Souma said, as his hands started pulling out pans and ingredients .
"Thanks" Megumi replied with a smile.
Souma probably couldn't tell, but Megumi was a nervous wreck, she hadn't eaten a good meal in days, her body has weak and tired. Every night she would go down to the kitchen and practice and practice, she really didn't want to mess it up, especially for Souma.
One night she had been working all night long, one of the Polar Star dorm members found her passed out on one of the kitchen chairs in the morning. Thankfully she hadn't left anything turned on, but that scared her. An accident could've happened, what if she had left the gas on? What if she caused a fire?
She hadn't been able to sleep properly for a while now. The stress of all that was going on was getting to her.
Megumi snapped out of her thoughs when she heard the soft clink of a plate in front of her. The smell hit her first, a mixture of spices, just freshly cooked. She looked up, Souma was grinning down at her.
"Here, eat up."
Megumi felt her emotions well up, she recognized the dish, it was a speciality in her town, and also her favorite dish. It was such a nice gesture from Souma.
Her heart cletched with a wave of gratitude.
Sadness.
Exhaustion.
It's like Souma knew that she was feeling a bit down and decided to try and cheer her up.
When she looked back at him, there were tears in the corner of her eyes.
"Thanks Souma." She smiled with closed eyes.
Then a hand was on her cheek, wipping away her tears. She opened her eyes and Souma was there, his face inches from hers and a look of concern in his eyes.
"Megumi, what's wrong?" He asked.
He moved to sit in the stool in front of her and held her hand, wipping away at her tears with the other.
She looked down, embarrassed that he had seen her like that.
"It's nothing, I-" she chuckled. " I'm okay. "
She felt a thumb on her chin as Souma lifted her face to look at him.
"I know you're not, you can tell me." He said.
Megumi took a deep breath.
"I'm just really tired you know? I feel like I haven't been able to take a break. I'm an anxious machine, and I've been building up stress, and it sucks. Because doing this with you Souma, it gives me great joy." She sighed.
"I couldn't imagine where I would be without you, and I'm sorry because I know I've been an obstacle to you, and because I know that you've had to wait for me to catch up and I'm sorry that I haven't been able to catch up." She paused to wipe her tears with her sleeves.
Souma couldn't take it anymore, he stoop up and wrapped his arms around Megumi, resting his chin on her head.
She stiffened at his gesture.
"Listen Megumi." He spoke softly but with seriousness. "You are the most amazing person I know. I'm the one who doesn't know where I would be without you. Im sorry that I haven't noticed how much pressure I was putting on you and how I didn't let you take a break fron me. I know that I can be a lot to handle sometimes and I am so thankful that you are by my side, you have no idea how important you are to me.
Dont you ever put yourself down. You are an extraordinary cook and everyone knows that, you don't have to prove yourself to anyone, especially not to me, because in my mind you are already number 1." He held her closer.
"And if you want, when this is over we can take a vacation, just you and me, in a beach in Mexico. We can take a break to travel the world, no pressure, no work, just us."
He kissed her forhead.
"What do you think about that huh?" He pulled away, searching her eyes for an answer. His hand pulling back the wet strands of hair that clung to her face.
Megumi looked at him, her eyes hopeful and grateful.
"Sure, I'd love that"

I love me some angst.

I'll be right there
Souma woke up, he streched his arms above his head and let out a big yawn. His eyes glanced at the clock, 6:30 AM. He let his legs guide him out of bed and into the restroom. After washing up and getting dressed he sprinted downstairs to get breakfast.
"Today is gonna be a good day." He thought as he poured himself a bowl of cereal.
His eyes glinted with excitement. Today he and Megumi were going to do a cooking demonstration in a prestigious TV Network, where many of the top chefs in Japan had presented their dishes.
He and Megumi had come up with something amazing, thinking about it made him even more excited. Although the presentation wouldn't be until that night, his heart was already pounding on his ears as he thought about what they were planning on making.
Souma knew that their friends and probably most of the school would be watching live. They were all proud of them for getting this opportunity, even more so the school's headmaster.
Souma and Megumi had become an extremely fierce team, quickly becoming recognized in many culinary groups. Yet this was by far, their biggest accomplishment. From here on, they would only become greater.
Souma walked around the dorm, lost in his own thought as he let his feet take him to a room he was very familiar with. Before he knew it, he was knocking at Megumi's door.
A small "Come in" came throught the door. Souma stepped in and found Megumi sitting cross leged in a chair in the balcony of her room, she was wrapped in a big blanket. On her hands she held a small cup of warm tea, the steam from the tea floated into the chilly morning air.
Souma didn't realize that he had been standing there until Megumi turned to look at him, her eyes filled with sleepiness but with a warm welcoming smile on her face.
"Souma?" She asked.
"Oh sorry, good morning Tadokoro." He managed.
"Good morning Souma." Megumi replied.
"Would you like to join me?" She smiled as she beckoned him to sit down while she poured another cup of warm tea.
"Thanks" Souma said as he moved to take it.
He sat in the chair next to her overlooking the garden, he had never realized how beautiful it looked in the morning light.
"How long have you been awake?" He asked.
"Oh, since about half an hour, I've been trying to get the sleep off me." She signaled to the tea in her hand.
Souma chuckled.
"It's pretty cold." He commented.
Megumi let out a laugh. "Would you like to join me?" She asked as she spread out her arm, beckoning him to get under the blanket too.
He scootched his chair next to hers and wraped the end of the blanket around his side. They contemplated the view in silence for a few seconds, when Megumi asked.
"Souma are you nervous?"
He looked at her, then at the garden. "Of course I am." He laughed. "But I'm more excited than nervous. Besides, I've got you Tadokoro, so I have nothing to worry about." He said as he finished his tea.
But he didn't notice the small blush spreading on Megumi's cheek at his comment.
"Thanks Souma." She whispered to herself.
He didn't hear her.
"Hey do you want some breakfast?"
"Sure."
