You almost set the alarm off!!” She says in a quiet aggressive tone “Sorry red sheesh!!” Harley says as she looks down a bit frowning feeling like a failure to Ivy “Be more careful or you’ll be having a nice visit from the bat freak!” She said in an aggressive sarcastic tone while rolling her eyes off in the distance “alright alright I will shesh!” Harley proceeds to open up her black gym bad filled with her tools and weapons “so anything you need in particular to get this thingy you need?” She says looking at ivy as she has her fingers laid across her face as if she was confused and figuring out what to do then as Harley finishes her sentence her head jolts back after she finishes her sentence and looks at her with a dirty look “It’s not a “thingy”” she says using air quotes “This is the most rarest plant that is currently about to go into extinction if I don’t get it it affective immediately” she said in a tone that made Harley sound like a complete idiot. Harley side frowns “Oh? What is the plant called exactly?” “Well I’m glad you asked Harls this beautiful baby is called Attenborough’s Pitcher plant and it’s critically endangered and needs to come with immediately before this awful pathetic humans KILL THEM ALL!!” Harley jumps a bit then scaredy asks “alright so what tool?” “I got this on my own harls” she commands her veins to sneak in through the cracks and break the lock on it then carefully grabs the plant “My baby!! Oh my sweet innocent Cute baby! It’s alright I got you now they won’t hurt you anymore I promise!” She says smiling ear to ear with tears falling down her eyes from joy and Harley looks at her like she’s bat shit crazy “Alright, well, we should probably get going red!!” Say smiling nervously “I don’t feel like being thrown in Arkham again heh heh” touching her fingers together “Yes of course let’s go harls” she said smiling and blushing [END]

“I-it’s fine..” she said in a shaky voice in the sounds of her about to cry “I know Harley didn’t mean to bail out on one of my most important plans that would help save billions of plants..” she said as her voice begins to crack an begins to cry.. kite man frowns and rubs Ivy’s back softly. Ivy throws her face into the couch pillow and begins to sob “Harley probably didn’t know that whatever happened today was going to actually occur.. maybe something bad happened?” He said while gesturing with his other hand an the other holding her back. Ivy sniffles “No...” said in an angry aggressive tone “No matter what I do for her she always crawls back to that scum bag! She never sees how hard I try to be there for her!! She only cares about Joker...” Kite man frowns from hearing her saying those things about her best friend and sad music can be heard playing in the background from his radio. Harley never really gave a shit unless it involved herself and ivy was realizing it now... “I’ve done everything I could to show her that Joker doesn’t give two shits about her but she doesn’t want to listen... not to anyone... I feel stupid for thinking that I could actually rely on her.. she makes her life revolve around what Joker might think and it doesn’t matter how anyone else feels.. I should... Pleased with the results of his experimentation, Dr. Markus helped Harleen, upon her graduation, to get an internship at Arkham Asylum, which would allow her access to The Joker, with whom she had become obsessed due to his relationship to the chaos she believed existed at the heart of all things. After meeting The Joker in person, and gaining unrestricted access to him, Harleen fell in love with the homicidal clown, despite the mental and physical abuse he showed her. She tried several times to help him escape, before she was caught and made an inmate herself. She then developed the identity of Harley Quinn. Following her own escape, she installed herself as The Joker’s on-again-off-again sidekick.

In another version of Harley’s story, she retained her criminal psychology roots, but her manipulation by her teachers was removed. Instead, she went undercover as an inmate at Arkham in an attempt to gain access to The Joker, rather than winning an internship. The Joker was able to see through her ruse, and he launched a concentrated effort to manipulate her. He managed to convince Harleen to share personal stories and tricked her into believing he’d brought people who’d hurt her to justice, even from inside his cell, promising that he could make her see the world as he did.

The one-sided love affair was cut short, however, when a supervisor at the asylum discovered Harleen’s obsession and attempted to remove her access to The Joker. In a rage, she attempted to kill the supervisor before assisting in The Joker’s escape. The Joker's first order of business as a newly freed man was to take Harleen to Ace Chemicals, the site of his own origin, and push her into a vat—completing her transformation into the Harley we know today
