“have you ever stopped to actually think about what you did?” she shouts at him. he looks at her with a blank face, showing no emotions. “im sorry,” he says calmly. she sacrificed so much for him because she loved him, endlessly. she never stopped to put her needs before his. he was her top priority, her life was about him. but it didnt even seem like she had an effect on him in any way. “SORRY? THATS IT? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? YOU ALWAYS SAY YOURE SORRY, BUT THEN YOU GO AND BREAK MY HEART AGAIN! YOU HAVE FUCKING STOMPED ON IT, RAN OVER IT, SMASHED IT, TORE IT, STABBED IT, CUT IT UP INTO TINY FUCKING PIECES, AND THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF? THAT YOURE FUCKING SORRY?!?!?” she screams at him. “what else am i supposed to say?” he asks. she looks at him coldly. “thats it, im done putting up, caring for, and loving people who would never give me the time of day to do the same. and– ” “no. nonononononononono please, please dont do it. please, you cant. please, im sorry, please, please. nononononono please dont turn off–” he stammers. “and im starting with you.” and thats when he realized he lost her for good.

“but i fucking love you!” he shouted at her with all the energy he had left, he couldnt just let her walk away. she stopped and turned around, a smile spread across her face as she looked at him and giggled. “awwwwwww! baby, thats so sweet,” she said in a happy tone. he relaxed thinking he had finally got that through her head. “seriously, is that really all you've got? youre fucking pathetic.” she scoffed at him, he could see the darkness in her eyes. it was long ago when she built up unbreakable walls around herself. she stopped welcoming feelings and kept the ones she already had locked up because of all the pain she went through. at that very moment, he knew. he knew that her icy, cold, and frozen-over heart would never thaw no matter what. it never mattered about who it was, it was always going to be useless trying. so he left, to protect himself from getting frostbitten.
