Midoriya sunburns slightly, but isn't fazed by it. He convinces himself to go down a huge waterslide, nearly losing his trunks and dignity once he reaches the bottom.

Bakugo doesn't sunburn, but does walk around in crocs Kiri bought him and some fancy ass sunglasses. Cursing off anyone who splashes him.

Todoroki is a plus one to whoever wants to go down a tubing waterslide, he also pays for alot of the drinks. Some kid said the sunburn on his eye looked sore....

Iida is practically a lifegaurd, making sure everyone is all right and not in any trouble, he also packed tons of sunscreen, towels, water bottles, and a whistle.

Kirishima wears hot pink trunks with 'manly' written across the back. He is a hype man for anyone who goes down a scary ride, and threatens Mineta throughout the trip.

Denki buys two slushies for himself to see how blue his tongue can get, and nearly gets convinced to wear a speedo by Sero, but doesn't do it because of Bakugo threatening him.

Sero dances casually to whatever song is playing over the radio, before going to bumper boats and destroying Mina and random children with his impeccable aim.

Shigiraki didn't go, he refuses to.

Dabi is paid to go in Shigiraki's place, simply holding onto whatever drinks and food Toga bought while she goes on every ride possible with Twice.

Toga cuts in line, doesn't follow the posture rules while on the slide, and hammers water balloons at innocent bystanders. She truly is in her prime when at a Waterpark.

Uraraka goes on a few rides but prefers sitting at the picnic tables eating or going down a lazy river. She does take quite a few photos to show her parents.

Asui flips over the floaties her classmates are on, and swims around pools with only her eyes visible. She somewhat scares a few children, but she doesn't notice.

Jiro doesn't like Waterparks, pools, or summer for the matter. She sunburns like crazy, hates crowds, and can't swim well. So she just clings to Momo for the whole day.

Momo helps Jiro with her swimming and sunburns, whilst getting numbers from different dudes. She rejects them all, before eating four cotton candy cones in peace.

Mina loves going on the craziest rides, bribing her friends (Denki/Sero) to join her. She recommends the rides to everyone while her friends are shaking on the benches from fear.

Aizawa looks over Eri while she splashes around in the pool. He laughs quietly when she constantly asked the 1A students to watch her while she does a cool water trick.

Hawks was a volunteer lifegaurd because Mirko said she would to it too... But she backed out on purpose. So he sits around eating some popcorn while he rips up all the different phone numbers he got.

Tamaki burns very easily, so he's wearing a full body suit and has his face smeared in sunscreen, he will go in a some gentle rides, but is intimidated by anything to high.

Mirio wears a speedo proudly, visiting Eri once and while to give her some food and drinks. He has no fear while going on rides, and was the one who smeared Tamaki's face with sunscreen.

Neijire seems like she'd be sweet and peaceful at a Waterpark... But that's all wrong. She has a plan to destroy everyone with water balloons and water guns. Even the pro heroes aren't safe.

A quirk like yours not only guaranteed you a spot in class 3-A, but it also guaranteed you social importance

For the past 2 years at UA, you had helped many of your friends with their romantic endeavours

Such as giving Denki the courage he needed to finally ask out Sero

Your quirk was loved by everyone, except yourself

Basically, your quirk turned you into cupid

You can summon a bow & arrow and wings, a physical manifestation of your emotions that present as different colours of light

You can use these offensively and emotionally, so UA scouts were desperate to have you join the school back when you were in middle-school

However, the reason your quirk was popular was because of the fact that you could make 'love arrows', and everyone wanted your help when it came to romance

However, like every quirk, yours has a downside

And that's the reason you hate it - you can't use the arrows on yourself or for your own gain

Essentially, you're invisible to people when they're affected by your arrows

You saw yourself as hopeless, because for the past 2 years with your class, everyone else had gotten into relationships except you...

And while everyone loved you platonically, no-one did romantically

During training, every grunt and groan of pain you would make would force his eyes to you

They attacked again

The class was on a trip to mountains for training in the wild, and the LoV attacked full force

You were able to get high-ground due to your wings, but when you noticed Bakugo, your heart stopped

Due to his explosions, the rocks around him became unstable

One was ready to fall directly on him

You rush to him, not even thinking, and push him from under the rock

All was fine until Dabi attacked the second the rock fell via a sneak attack

You screamed, loudly.

Katsuki's heart shattered when he heard and saw you

He ran in, taking a hit from Dabi and jumping on the stapled Villain

Your tears stream down your face from the pain of the burns, but you push through and draw and arrow

An arrow of sadness

And shoot it directly on Dabi, followed by an arrow of fatigue

And then you collapse, along with Dabi, whose energy was almost fully drained from your arrows

"FUCK! (Y/n)!" Katsuki screams, running to your unconscious form

"For fucks sake, Dabi..." Shigiraki shouts, ordering everyone to retreat snd save Dabi

Next thing you know, you're awake in the nurses office

Bandages covering your skin and a certain blonde hunched over in a chair next to your bed

"Katsuki?" You murmmer, voice still weak

"Y-You're awake!" Katsuki's head lifts immediately at the sound of your voice

You notice the tears in his eyes and down his face

"Yeah... I guess haha" you laugh weakly

"Don't laugh... YOU COULD OF DIED OUT THERE!" Bakugo shouts, startling you

"Hey... what the hell Katsuki" you say, your head hurting from the noise

"Why would you do that?! I had it under control! You didn't have to!" He continues, a little quieter as to not hurt your head

"You were about to be crushed! I didn't see that cunt sneaking up on us! Why do you care so much anyway?!?" You shout back, mad at Katsuki for being upset you saved his ass

" 'Cause... oh fuck off (Y/n)!"

"Go on! Why do you care so much that I got hurt?" You badger the blonde

"Cause I fucking like you, dumb (h/c)ette" He mummbles

Your eyes widen in shock but then go back to their usual dullness

"Yeah right..." you mumble back

"What? Don't believe me? Want some proof?" Bakugo says, a smirk on his face as the initial fear of confessing is lost

"Fuck off Bakugo, I'm practically invisible - I'm the matchmaker not the matched... why would you like me?!?!" Your mumbles turn back into shouts, in your 18 years of living no-one had ever liked you like that, so why would one of the top students of UA like you?

"Cause you're nice! You care about people, (Y/n), you pay attention to small things and you comfort people when they need it! Plus you're hot so that comes as a bonus..." the blonde explains

"Proove it" you say, a small smile on your face as you roll your eyes away from your long-time crush

"Fine. I'm sure you won't mind"

Katsuki stood up and loomed over you, an attractive smirk on his face

You closed your eyes, knowing what's coming next but not believing it

Once you feel hid warm lips on yours, you let out a sigh of relief

The kiss is comforting, not hot or by any means a make out, however a prolonged, sweet kiss

"There, I like you (Y/n) - I might even love you... Dumbass"

The smell of sweet caramel and cologne filled your nose and a smile spread on your face

The rest of your time in the nurses room was spent with the blonde, talking about a lot of things, and even confessing your feelings from the first day

MHA 2.15 - Midoriya and Shigaraki - part 1

Deku had that monster in him day one. I love that Gran Toquito is seeing Deku’s potential and is giving him practical lessons on how to achieve that potential. All Might is positive and supportive, but has less practical guidance than the old sensei. 

THE HAIR! Working on people skills and presentation is exactly what he needs. This is also the optimum internship for comedy. Absolute gold. I wonder if Jeanist will get Bakugo into some jeans, please, I will laugh forever. 

Wait, the Nomu was a person? He was a small time criminal that modified his body with a mix of other people’s DNA to get extra quirks? I did not know that was possible. That opens up WILD possibilities. 

Someone has a quirk giving quirk. That is so powerful and broken. It is a very bad omen that All Might is sh*ting himself talking about this guy. I am guessing that this is a villain that All Might has fought before.

This is a common saying but I have always disagreed. People are more complex than how they act during their worst moments. But I get why this saying is popular since I am sure facing death does reveal some truths

Getting judged as too crazy by Shigiraki has got to be a lifetime low point for Stain. It is delightful how much these two immediately hated each other. Poor Kurogiri just trying to make two nutty villains get along and failing. 

Classic serial killer routine. Pick a specific type of victim and establish a pattern of how/why/when to go for the kill. So it seems he usually kills 4 or more. That makes me curious as to how Tensei got away with only injury and not death.

Damn, Iida’s got the murder eyes. I never thought I would be scared of and scared for Iida at the same time. He’s about to do something drastic. I will cry.

Meanwhile, Deku is busy being a goober. Good to see our main sunshine boy isn’t plotting anything dark. I can only lose so many sunshine boys. I hope Deku is able to help Iida somehow.

Also doesn’t care but is equally as interested in having a (as he’d call you) a “fan”

Knows that you’re not actually a fan, and is most likely scared out of wits end when you go to hand him his drink and freeze when he suddenly grabs your wrist as everyone watches in horror

one finger and the fact that Shigiraki was curious was the only thing that really saved you and your wrist

He would leave and it wouldn’t be until a few visits later, when he hasn’t tried anything and you’ve forgotten he’s a literal villain cus you got used to having to serve him, that he takes an interest

Childishly demands that you sit with him, and the manager on duty thats coming up to scold you for lazing around with the customers is stopped in her tracks when Shigiraki looks at her and nonverbally dares her to do anything

His… everything isn’t very sociable or welcoming, and when he’s seated where everyone can see, it isn’t very good for business

If he’s ever not doing anything, he’ll stalk around the café while staring at you

it’s probably okay, he just doesn’t want creeps creeping on you (while not acknowledging that he’s creeping on you)

talks to you about his video games and asks if you know them

How would he be that much more overprotective? And would he react differently cuz of their age (most of which being older than them)?

(Sure thing! This feels a bit like an imagine since I can't think of many ways he'd feel too different about it depending on the person. Let me cook something up. BTW forgive me since I'm rusty when it comes to writing for the man!!!)

I imagine no matter who his sibling dates he feels protective. You weren't like the others in the family that set him aside so long ago. You were different. It always seemed like you and him were your own little family without the others. You followed him no matter where he went, even if he walked into hell. So when he left you did too. It wasn't like either of you would be missed. Not with the way things were going. For a long time it was just the two of you. You'd both eventually found your way into the League together as well. He made sure to stick by you pretty closely since he always saw you as weaker than him. If he had a choice he would've never let you follow him into the League like this. He wanted you to move out of that damned house and live a carefree life. He wanted to be the only one to take on the burden of revenge against the people that wronged him most. His words came out as "Do what you want". Of course you were hardheaded and followed just that. When it came to dating he wasn't particularly a fan of anyone in the immediate group. He'd prefer if you found a man/woman/person somewhere out in society that was nice and caring. Someone that maybe could pay your bills and you could start your only family with them.

If you were to date Giran he'd immediately put his foot down. He's not angry but you could tell he's annoyed. He's likely going to hit you with a speech eventually. He stays level-headed and cranes his head over to stare at you with lidded eyes. "Can't you choose anyone but the dodgy old bastard? C'mon Y/N, do better." Translation for 'he's not good enough and I don't approve nor do I trust him'. If you were to date Twice then I think he'd be a little more relaxed but still somewhat on edge. I feel like he goes behind your back and tries to scare Bubaigawara off. It never works though. You probably find out and this causes one of you famous sibling arguments. You'll both get over it later though. Dating Compress is okay but he's going to give you another speech. He trusts compress but not enough. There's something secretive about the man that Dabi can't put his finger on. Kurogiri is probably one of the only people that Dabi is fine with you dating. It doesn't appear to him that Kurogiri would try anything on you at all. He's cool with it but he also teases you a lot about dating a little mist covered body. You'll never hear the end of it lol. Skeptic as a partner is a 'hell no' in Dabi's book. The man is too aggressive to most people when he get's upset. His harsh words are one step away from him hurting your feelings and Dabi roasting him...literally. Spinner is the only other one he fully trusts besides Kurogiri. He watches Shuichi being sappy with you on a day to day basis. Spinner also swears to protect you and I think Dabi thinks to himself "Hell, if it was going to be a villain at least it's the lizard." But be prepared for him to tease you about Spinner too. If you date Shigaraki it's going to cause a bit of a strain between Dabi and his boss. He's listens (or tolerates) Tomura to a degree but he's got his own goals in line really. He's going to make sure to keep an eye on Tomura since he doesn't fully trust him nor his quirk as well. He doesn't want to run the risk of you accidentally getting decayed because that would cause an all out war between the two.

Some of my favorite and most fucked up scenes for Mukuro so far

Disclaimers

Mukuro regularly refers to Kurogiri as "Aba" which is Arabic for dad/father. I've debated changing it due to Israel being a terrorist state, but have decided against it as several countries (primarily Egypt comes to mind) that aren't Isreal use Arabic as a language. If this bothers you, do not continue reading.

This isn't the first time Tsukauchi has encountered Mukuro. He's met the kid a couple times before, usually because some hero found the kid. He popped up on the radar because of his resemblance to a missing persons case, however every time the kid is questioned none of his statements are lies.

His name is Shigiraki Mukuro, he's about 15 years old, he lives mostly with his older brother and Aba because quote; “Father is very sick, he needs all sorts of machines to help him breathe.”

Whenever asked questions like “did you see anything tonight” he'll respond with vague answers, but there is no sign of deceit behind the answers. Mukuro is in some ways a little kid, yet in others unfathomable mature.

It's baffling and off-putting every time he talks to the kid, which isn't helped by the fact that Tsukauchi is Mukuros favorite among the police force, and this time is no different.

For once the kid wasn't being questioned because a hero thought Mukuro was being abused or was a runaway, this time it was for obstruction of justice. The thought makes the detective snort and shake his head in amusement.

Mukuro doesn't have an evil bone in his body, he's just a kid who takes vague questions very literally.

He laughs brightly whenever he gets odd looks for his appearance. Paler than death, curly mess of green-gray hair, cracked lips stained near black with dried blood.

The first time Mukuro meets a lot of people they seem bewildered he's a teenager and not a malnourished adult. He’ll lean back as he grips the counter and laugh as he swings his legs, enjoying the way their eyes all but pop out in shock. The way many of them lose the ability to speak as he sips whatever is put in his vicinity, not caring what it is. He’ll breathe out his smoke, try anything once, experience everything he can.

Mukuro hungers for knowledge. It is gluttony at its fullest, there is little he won't do to learn. The itch of his quirk manifesting in odd ways, a match made in the underground. A quirk that pushes the user to seek out new situations and environments paired with a mind that soaks up everything like a sponge.

He's happy, Tomura is happy, really the two brothers don't need anymore than that. Tomura has someone to play games with, someone who's unassuming and thus the perfect spy. Mukuro is wanted, cared for.

Small unassuming Mukuro, who heroes can't help but save when he's in “distress”. Heroes who don't realize he's a trap, that he's playing them like a fiddle as they reassure the scared teenager. A teenager who looks neglected, abused, and homeless. He can play the helpless kid and act like no tomorrow, sometimes even nii-chan is convinced.

Those heroes often end up spilling their guts to him or accidentally give him sensitive information.

Little Mukuro, who will do anything his nii-chan asks not out of fear but out of love. He'll do it because nii-chan asked, because nii-chan and aba and father are the only family he has.

He'll do it because people are so easy to silently pick apart when they don't perceive a threat.

Father has talked about getting him his own attendant, much like aba is to nii-chan. Mukuro doesn't think he'd mind having another family member, though he thinks nii-chan might get a little jealous if someone joined their misfit band.

Father just shakes his head fondly and reaches a massive hand out to gently ruffle the boys hair. Mukuro giggles as his curls tickle his face and neck, then settles down at his fathers feet with his notebook. He watches the screens that illuminate the room intently, absorbing all information he can gleam from the footage.

Deep down Mukuro knows he's kept around because to All For One; Father; Sensei, he's like a pet. Kept for entertainment and to keep Tomura calm. He knows this yet chooses to stay, where else would he go. Who else would let him just exist as he is. So he really doesn't mind being some glorified pet to the boogeyman.

Izuku wakes to blond hair and crimson eyes in his hospital room from the corner of his good eye and panics. He feels like a coiled spring as he falls out of the bed flailing, trying to get away.

The flailing rips his IV out unintentionally, it hurts, there's blood all over his arm now. Running, running, dripping. His wild movements splatter it in wide arcs across the room. The sterile room becomes the beginning of some twisted version of a Jackson Pollock work.

The heart monitor, having been disconnected from the movement, wails as it triggers an alarm. The sticky nodes that have been put on his chest stay, though the wires and tubes pop away from the ports. Twisted and yanked.

Izuku is so panicked that his vision won't focus and he freaks out when there's suddenly a looming figure towering over him from where he is on the floor, gasping and sobbing as he loudly begs for Katsuki not to hurt him again. He apologizes for a million things he has no control over.

A hand roughly grabs his arm and he goes rigid before the instinct to get away kicks in, scrambling helplessly on the floor. He's trying to pull away so hard that his arm pops out of the socket and he injures himself further.

He screams as his bones pull apart, still trying to get away only to be pinned to the floor. The arm his IV was in is twisted behind him painfully as the looming figure puts all of their weight on his back and chest. Unable to expand his lungs all he can do is lay there gasping helplessly until the world goes black.

There is one fleeting thought as he loses consciousness, why isn't anyone helping him? Why won't anyone ever save him, even when he's so clearly desperately asking to be saved.

Some part of me wonders if the hsc was just waiting for the hero system to fail as badly as it did in canon. I don't mean it in the, they don't benefit from the working hero system, but I mean it in the, the hero system is working exactly as it is meant to. All Might brought peace and peacetime can make it hard to maintain power over a population because people have the luxury of questioning stuff. Obviously the entire culture around pro-heroes and villains would be a good deterrent to people saying "hmm, maybe that was excessive force and also that villain was motivated by poverty and maybe force shouldn't be the go-to way to prevent crime" but peace makes people feel safe enough to ask those things.

But disruption? Terror? All Might gone, heavy losses on the side of heroes, heroes failing to defeat the villains with mass casualties, a loss of faith a system with comparatively a gentle use of force to what the hsc might use, where daytime heroes were under intense scrutiny from the public and help to high standards of behaviour?

All Might made people feel like heroes would always win and so they could demand high standards of behaviour and ethics from them. Without All Might and a guarantee of victory, handing more power to the hsc or allowing more leeway might seem logical to scared people. Perhaps not heroes, but still individual actors using quirks with different branding. It's likely what happened during the Dawn of Quirks and historically, that's often how governments gain greater power as a result of instability. And even once Shigiraki is dealt with, this attitude will extend to all villains/criminals with harsher responses to mild infractions. Perhaps tighter Quirk laws as well, or at least more enforcement.

If left alone, the hero system as it is would likely go through cycles. Chaos, power granted to the government, use of this power to gain stability through force, and either this peace through force is maintained until a stronger disruption/villain, or the amount of force used is lessened through public demand. The hero system collapses once again because root causes are not addressed, chaos, and then power is handed over to the government to regain stability through force. Rinse, repeat, until it inevitably implodes.

I don't think the hsc predicted it failing as badly as it did, or how Endeavour's actions would bite them in the ass with Dabi. But I could see them betting on All Might retiring, the spike in crime and social unrest as a result, and using that to push through more authoritarian measures. Because that's how it often goes in the real world

Panem and circenses, Anon. Bread and circuses. That's how you keep a society from noticing people in power are taking them from fools and that's on what the hero system is based.

Civilians need big good heroes to protect them from the big bad villains. Add some cult of personality.... I mean, hero worship and quirk veneration (since heroes are the elite, the only one allowed to use their quirks, normal people can't use theirs in public places, and villains are usually people with ominous quirks), and you get BNHA!

And the great thing is that if people are brainwashed into loving hero, they don't question the statu quo too much and you don't need force to justify more and more power being given to the heroes.

Well, to a point. Because, as you said, the longer the peace lasts, the more people have time to think about the flaws of the system.

I think that the reasons why this lack of questioning lasted so long despite All Might's enforced peace was because:

1. again, the society worships heroes and propaganda is a nifty tool.

2. that peace was enforced by All Might. There is a real difference between "We live in peace because people wants to be nice to each other" and "Our protector prevents the bad guys from harming us." For the latter, there is still this sense of "the others would harm us if heroes weren't there to protect us".

But even with that, you're right, the public would have grown antsy sooner or later. So, the way to keep the system in place would have been to show that the villains were becoming more vicious, so the Hero Commission would have no choice but to say "See what happens when we don't have free reins to protect you?"

However, i am convinced that the HPSC never would have allowed the hero society to fail this way.

Endangering it a little bit is good to scare the public and make them long for the safety of the past. But when you let a system crumble, odds are that the opponents are the one to get in power and to become the new government. (Or, if said opponents are a bunch of anarchists who don't want to rule, you get chaos then, some time after, government slowly rebuilding itself but it's not the same guys anymore and the HSPC, since it's made of people who like power, would never willingly part with it.)

No, I think that messed everything up was All Might's sudden retirement + the fight in Kamino.

The Hero Commission probably knew that All Might was weakening (that was kind of an opened secret in some circles) but he would have lasted longer if there wasn't for the Kamino fight. So, and I am speculating here but that's kinda my thing, the HSPC probably had something planned so they would slowly introduce the idea of All Might's retirement to the public and a new number 1, ready to walk in All Might's footsteps but different enough for people not to constantly compare the both of them.

And if the HPSC had the time to make it happen, the new number 1 hero would have been that guy:

Alas for the Hero Commission, All Might not only retired sooner than intended but in a very public manner, and worse of all, he almost got killed.

Before Kamino, the LoV was a bunch of scrubs. They had their behind handed to them by high school children (on their first week at hero school, no less).

Then, the summer camp happened. UA being attacked and Bakugou being abducted was a golden opportunity for the Hero Commission if they wanted more power. They had THE excuse to have more influence on the hero schools.

Except that 1. Nedzu didn't call the top heroes to rescue Bakugou. He called the UA alumni, restoring some of UA street cred and (accidentally?) preventing HC heroes to fix the situation. 2. the Hero Commission, even if they were warned that AFO could be there, thought that top heroes would easily take care of the LoV, who had won against students and a bunch of low ranked heroes.

Instead, they got this:

SSS ranked villain. Someone who almost killed All Might. Someone who probably could have razed a town.

That's the kind of power backing the LOV.

And that's terrifying.

But worse than AFO killing so many people, worse than AFO almost killing the Symbol of Peace under everyone's eyes, he revealed the truth.

All Might, symbol of absolute strength, their protector, was actually reduced to this state.

That's the opposite of slowly introducing All Might's retirement to the world. For the moment, everyone who saw this had to live through the eventuality that the one guaranteeing their peace was going to die on this day, leaving the villains free to do whatever they wanted.

After that, they needed to comfort the public, to tell them that they could fix this. Once again, it could be taken as an opportunity to have more power, to have more authority, but now, there was a much higher risk for the Hero Commission.

So, they had the great idea of doing whatever happened during the war arc. To show the threat of the big bad villain and to assemble an army of heroes to defeat them, to show that 1. the heroes have it handled 2. that the Hero Commission helped preventing things from becoming worse so they should be granted more powers.

This was a high risk, high reward situation.

And the Hero Commission failed to assess how great the risk was.

My take on a Yandere Shigiraki:

-He isn't a fan of PDA. At most, he makes you sit squished next to him when others are around. But when it's just the two of you, he loves casual touching. He'll make you play with his hair.

-When he confessed that he was scared to hold your hand because of his quirk you did the pinky hold (interlacing just your pinky with his) and he just about died from joy. Like... a seriously unearthly sound came out of the man.

-He's jealous of pretty much any one that isn't him. Once he got you a Tamigachi and then broke it because you were too focused on the little avatar.

-Kurogiri told him that it's important have shared interests. So he immediately introduced you to all of his favorite games.

-The only dating advice he gets is from Kurogiri. And the level-headed-smoke-cloud told him that a healthy relationship is a two way street. So he'll shower you with compliments... and then instruct you to say what you like about him. It grows on you.

-He's surprisingly not super sexual toward you.

-He's actually super hygienic - even though we all know he's never heard of moisturizer. He takes scalding showers (worsening his dry skin) twice a day and insists you do the same.

-He only buys you "girly" games but at least it passes the time.

just read an article that claims bakugou's actions/words in ch.338 threatens to 'destroy/undo all the progress he's made in the series' and i have some words...

first of all: no, he is NOT entitled to forgive aoyama and imo aoyama isn't entitled to his forgiveness- or at least not easily or right away like the rest of his classmates

yes, i understand aoyama was guiltstricken and didn't want to do what's been done and he's guilty and wanted his parents to back out of any/all deals- but sTILL you can't say bakugou's attitude and refusal to forgive him isn't RIGHTFUL

bakugou was KIDNAPPED. he was kidnapped and held hostage before he was 'rescued' then immedately relocated where he had to fight for his safety only to be re-rescued by his friends!!! not to mention he watched the downfall of his hero to the whole reason he was there in the first place: OFA immediately afterwards

the artilce was talking about how he 'wasn't in danger' or how 'he was treated with respect bc shigiraki was trying to recruit him' and how he spent a lot of his time being held at the LoV just bad mouthing them, but THAT ISN'T THE POINT. he was still scared. the trauma of being kidnapped and watching All Might fight OFA and fall into retirement ate away at him so extremely and he SAT in that frustation and anguish for months before he snapped and just fought midoriya to try and cope

and even then you can't tell me that fist fighting it out and learning all about One For All and the relationship between All Might/midoriya was the cureall for his aching. immedately after that fight when AM tries to reassure bakugou that he was going to retire soon anyways and it wasn't his fault, he still doesnt belive him

the fact of the matter is, aoyama's traitor status- regardless of Class 1-A's forgiveness and his own guilt thrown into the mix- doesn't mean bakugou has to forgive or like him. bakugou's feelings of wanting to pay him back for all the shit he went through may be an eye-for-an-eye scenario, but thats just how he works- and it isn't in the realm of right or wrong. its all grey and patchy morals

he feels betrayed and backstabbed just as much as his other classmates who were attacked on the summercamp and who had befriended aoyama throughout their UA days. but while they did have their fights and injuries and trauma of thier own during that event- they also weren't he one's who got kidnapped. the only other student in trouble of being taken was tokoyami and wasn't bc the marble containing him was retrieved while bakugou's wasn't

maybe it's wrong for him want to get some payback, whatever; but that's who bakugou is. but it also isn't wrong for him to not immediately cave and give forgivness to someone tied to the sole reason he went through all that shit.

him not forgiving aoyama isn't negating all the progress he's made to be a better person and to grow into a good hero- its him being HUMAN. he's still just a fucking kid. he doesn't have to forgive him if he doesn't want to.

progress isn't linear. he wasn't just gonna fight midoriya and then steadily climb his way up. progress is a flucating progress and so far he's: fought in the war arc and got hurt, he apologized to midoriya and helped get him back, and is trying to work with his classmates and get better among other things. him working through his feelings and frustion about aoyama is also progress he's struggling with in his own way.

and at the end of the day, its all just fICTION.

these are fictional characters involved in fictional events and yes we're all gonna have our opinions and whatever, but imo the 'backlash' bakugou is getting from his decisions and feelings is complete and utter bull

Wait, wait, wait... what do you mean Shigiraki’s redemption is confirmed? Through meta’s or like that whole Deku thing with kid Shiggy? If so, that makes me relieved. Honestly, at times I’m so scared HK won’t give the villains redemptions, especially Dabi with the how HK portrays him being this psychotic individual who may be “to far gone.”

Okay first I’ll address Shigaraki’s redemption.

We’ve been shown time and time again that not only are we supposed to stop viewing Shigaraki as a villain who wants mindless destruction, we are supposed to look at him as somebody who has a very valid point, and somebody who desperately needs and WANTS help. I don’t know if people have been feeding you bad takes anon, but spit them out and ignore them lol. That panel of baby Midoriya and Shigaraki is important yes, but the entirety of chapter 305 should have been confirmation enough. Anybody who says Shigaraki is still doomed and never going to be saved is just in straight up denial. AND they’re big mad about it. Let them be. A lot of people I’ve seen who are anti-villain have had their predictions proven wrong time and time again. In fact, many swore up and down that Midoriya would never even want to save Shigaraki because of all the people he has hurt. And yet, look where we are.

Not only is chapter 305 important because it’s a huge turning point, in that it introduces a whole new challenge that wasn’t being explored by the main character/heroes before, it’s also important because Horikoshi literally announced the “final act” of the story in the immediate following chapter. I’m sorry but...you don’t just make a chapter like 305, say that story is getting ready to come to a close, and then back track and act like chapter 305 never happened. Chapter 305 preceded the final act, it’s what’s brought on Midoriya’s *shocking* choice of leaving UA and going all vigilante on us. I mean look, Horikoshi could definitely screw us and just stop the villains through killing and punishment, but that would basically be like giving us a big fat fuckin middle finger. It’d be cruel too, considering the types of villains he’s created and the morals of the story he’s been drilling into us since the beginning. “Not all people are created equal. And that’s a problem. Let’s fix that.” 

To end the story with “not all people are created equal, but this guy got super lucky and he’s going to make sure that he keeps the extremely damaging status quo in place” as an ending thought is just....it’s a bad look fam. Horikoshi ain’t gonna do it. So idk, I look at people’s takes that say Deku is going to realize that “not everybody can be saved” and kill Shigaraki and THAT’S how he’ll become the GREATEST HERO and all I can say is just 

Don’t listen to them. 

Now look I’m not Horikoshi so I’m not gonna bet my life on Shigaraki’s redemption. But if Horikoshi decides to screw us then we’re all gonna suffer together, and I WILL bitch about it until I’m six feet under, so there’s that. 

Now Touya....dude. He’s not psychotic. And I myself have said time and time again that we as readers don’t get to decide when a character is “too far gone.” Touya is NOT acting without reason. He is not acting mindlessly. Is his mental health in the best state? Fucking no. It’s not. He tried to kill his father with every intention of dying in the process. He is not okay, that boy needs help. But that does not make him psychotic, or crazy, or “too far gone.” 

I personally don’t see how he has been portrayed as you describe him...like at all. Literally the entire story he has been quiet, calm, collected (on the outside), and he’s got mad self control, seeing as how he could have killed his dad in chapter 191 and been long dead by now having fulfilled his goal. But he waited and strategized. 

He could have killed his unconscious dad here, and chose to retreat. 

He knows what he’s doing, and he isn’t doing it mindlessly. He’s not too far gone to bring back, to heal, and recover. And just because Hori drew him looking kinda cray, doesn’t mean he is. I love reading manga because the art and the text work together to tell the story. You don’t have to rely on just one of the other. He looks like he does during the war arc because his emotions are running at an all time high. He just revealed to his family who thought he was dead for ten years that he’s alive. It’s really not that hard to figure out. Touya’s words do not indicate he’s psychotic, they indicate he’s emotionally numb, and hurt, and angry. And we know his fire is affected by his emotions from the flashback chapters. 

Also, I think it’s also worth noting that Shoto doesn’t think he’s psychotic or “too far gone” either:

So unless people think Shoto is psychotic as well, I mean....okay lol

SO. Yes, Shigaraki’s redemption is basically confirmed. If I’m wrong, oh well. I’ll be mad about it. But seriously, anybody who can read context clues and understand foreshadowing and think critically about the characters and their words and actions can see that this story is not going to end with punishment and despair, it’s going to end with optimism and hope.

Great place to train, where he avoids disturbing other people with his explosions. Perfect place to keep someone hostage.

I like to imagine Dabi was given the basement in the villain base hideout. A nice junkie basement, cold but furnished with blankets and beanbags and the couch and the mattress and the glass-table Dabi uses to cut ivory. She always knows when he’s coming, she hears the creaking in the staircase.

SHIGARAKI TOMURA

Shigiraki’s one is spot on, perhaps sometimes he’ll walk her about the base if she’s been nagging him enough, though he’ll quickly make her regret it, flaunting her in front of his subordinates purely with the goal of making her uncomfortable enough for her to ask if they can go back to his skeezy room.

SHINSO HITOSHI

Shinso doesn't like drawing unwanted attention to himself. Don’t get me wrong, he doesn't live uncomfortably, but he doesn't live abundantly either. Simple apartment, kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom, and that’s that. He doesn't keep things he has no need for either, so the place would be pretty barren, lots of clean walls to be pushed up against, many clear surfaces to be pushed down on.

TAKAMI KEIGO

Hawks, because yes he lives luxuriously, his balcony giving him free reign to dive to the city whenever he may need, he never uses the elevator, meaning the opportunity to leave never arises for his darling. She does give him scare though when she balances on the railing of the veranda, threatening him to jump, but hey, it’s not like he isn't fast enough to catch her, so there isn't really any harm.

MIDORIYA IZUKU

I’d think Midoriya would start off with having her chained to one room. Not because he believes she could actually ever escape, but because with limited freedom one begins to value freedom a lot more. Meaning, she’ll be so very grateful once he finally lets her roam just one more room.

CHISAKI KAI

Chisaki lives big and grand. Max security though. She always hears him when he comes home, the clicking of the digital locks singing a little tune throughout all the rooms, letting her know it’s time to come greet him at the door.

TODOROKI SHOTO

Shoto is high society, but old high society. I imagine one of those horror mansions. Big beautiful house with too many spare rooms and dark hallways that lead to nowhere, perfect for chasing someone down.

I genuinely don’t think he’s scared of bugs, but I feel like centipedes and stuff like that freak him out. He’s not scared, though, he just squishes them and shudders a little and goes about his day. The rain had made things feel sluggish, and you and Tomura had holed up in bed much longer than usual, only getting up once he’d decided he wanted a drink. You intended to follow him, taking a minute to get dressed and clean up a little first.

You almost didn’t even see the spider, still enough on the wall you wondered if it might be dead. Then it moved, causing a shudder to run up your spine as your eyes went wide. You leaped back onto the bed, putting more distance between yourself and the absolute abomination and screamed. A shriek, followed by frantic calls of Tomura’s name had him running to you, destroying the door in his haste as he assessed the situation.

“What is it?!” His eyes darted around the room, taking in your scared expression but confused by what could have caused it. You shakily pointed to the spider, another shrill cry involuntarily erupting from you as it moved. He paused, relaxing his stance as he realized the lack of danger. He scoffed, pulling his shoe off and squishing the arachnid against the wall, its blood and crushed body creating a little stain on the bottom of his shoe and the wall.

You panted, eyes still wide and body still trembling. He started to snicker, but his intentions of making fun of you died when he saw you still so upset and afraid. He dropped the shoe, holding out his arms to coax you from the bed. You pressed yourself into his chest, sniffling and thanking him as his hands ran up and down your back. He shushed you, pressing a kiss into your hair and holding you close until you calmed down.

You relaxed, sitting back on the bed but keeping your arms around him so your face was pressed against his lower stomach. He gently stroked your head, finally starting to laugh as your shaking stopped entirely.

“Fucking baby,” he teased, “scared of a widdle spider?” You glared halfheartedly up at him, his smirk widening when you didn’t even bother to protest. His gentle handling of your hair turned to pulling as he wrenched you off him and flung you back onto the bed. He hunched over you, straddling your thighs as he crawled on top of you. Your wrists were captured in his hands, his half gloves preventing him from being as cautious as he normally was as his face inched closer to yours. “You should be scared,” he spoke lowly, his lips barely brushing against yours, “but not of a spider.” He closed the distance, kissing you softly. You reciprocated, arching your back slightly to press your chest against his. His knee forced your legs apart, quickly moving up to grind against your crotch and make you gasp into his mouth.

“Get a door, freaks,” Dabi shouted, sticking his head through the empty space your door once occupied. You felt your cheeks heat up as Tomura kissed you harder, finally pulling away after Dabi made a gagging noise and left. He sat up, knee still pressing harshly between your legs.

“I’ll get Kurogiri to get us a new door,” he trailed off, skimming his nails lightly across his neck in thought. He grinned widely, “I guess for now we can use Dabi’s room. He won’t mind.”
