Yesterday I went to the library at 9:30 am, came back around 5:00 pm. I like to spend my weekends there studying, even infact taking nap sometimes. I did some calculus which is there for us 1 years, It was getting hard with every exercises so I skipped to physics, which is my favourite subject.

I should have written this post yesterday, on day 10, but who cares? The update doesn't have to be every 3 days, it can be 4, or even 7. I did 2 lessons, do there is progress, and that's all that matters 🙂. The photos show my messy notes and a cute kitty lamp 🐈, with messy charger cables in the background 🔌. Learning isn't always aesthetic.

👋 Hello world

I'm new to this hellsite and I kind of like the vibes here. Like others, I wish to start a #studyblr blog to keep me motivated through studying for the Chemical Engineering Board Exam (licensure exam). I have already graduated after all.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Here we are studying for the Board Exam to get our license to operate as an Engineer.

Notes to self: this a retry attempt after being derailed before

Consistency. Learn more, do more, and post more frequently. Be less serious about each post. This is the hellsite after all, not a news article or a dissertation.

Quantity over Quality. The problem is not quality but not doing the work in the first place. A first draft will always be shitty. It is inevitable.

We are in the Cult of Done not Perfect. Follow what you learned from reviewing Anki flashcards. A 100% retention rate is physically impossible if you want to learn a lot and make significant progress. Make mistakes and fix them later as you understand a subject more.

Hey guys, today I got to visit our aerospace hanger in our campus. Although it's not my department, yet as a student we can visit and go around. And today I had my first class, it was okay okay, not something worth mentioning.

My classmate is so good though, as a fish lover here I didn't get any of it so she got me one yesterday from her home as she is a day scholar. :') Sometimes I wish I was really at my hometown, surrounded everyone I knew. But then again most of us have left their hometown to study, and so did I.

After my classes I went directly to the library, to study. It was a little crowded in the afternoon but later the crowd cleared up. Quickly finishing up with library, I headed towards my hostel too tired.

Nov. 5-11, 2023: This week's debrief

i didn't feel like posting this week bc i was too busy, and to be honest i was getting overwhelmed with my finals.

on nov. 4, i took the general and applied sciences exam. i'm still not sure if i passed it. i'm too bothered. at least i know i REALLY need to work on my physics and mechanics.

i had my final pitching, and we sucked bsjsbsjs. i did my best tho and my part was flawless. i try not to think abt this whole thing bc i will wallow in regret.

anw, i took my advanced engg mathematics final which i was super ready for and i think i got a perfect score. i also took my basic electrical and electronics engg final after cramming for an hour. i could have gotten a perfect mark if it weren't for silly mistakes. then i had my physical chemistry exam which was...... i don't know if i passed. i'm a little worried so i try not to think abt it too much. i guess now i know i need at least 20 hours of study time, and that i need to really review past papers.
