011021 - rainy weekend

Just getting back into the habit of reading before we go full swing in a few weeks. I have a full time job that actually exhausts me and my hours of free time (read: hours not compensated by my salary) so to have an actual Sunday where I don't have to do anything besides to read is a blessing.

10.23.20 • So, I have decided to take a break from law school for two ( main ) reasons. First, because things at work have been really hectic; second, law school’s been taking a toll on my mental state lately. One might think that with classes being online, students would have an easy way out, or professors would be a lot more understanding. But, no. The internet connection in the Philippines isn’t the best and I had professors who think that it is the student’s fault for not having a more stable connection. Anyway, I’m doing myself and my mental state a very big favor. I won’t be stopping law school entirely. I’ll just pick myself up and perhaps save more money so that I would be able to be a full-time student again. For now, I’ll continue studying Spanish and continue reading more books!

So uhm, I went on a 3-month hiatus from my supposedly Gap Year Bar Review 😬 Now that I have a new laptop though, I’m starting to work on digital notes, which I must say I enjoy more than writing. I’m trying to familiarize myself answering bar questions digitally just in case the Bar exam will still be online when I take it in 2022. So far, I’m comfortable with it but we’ll see when I finally go back to school next semester.

I will be sharing how I make my digital notes here, hopefully it will help my fellow students 😅 I’ll probably be posting more now because I no longer have to rely on my phone and tablet to make a blog post lol.
