Five untold sorcerers march and mark their presence in the spatial composition as their combined form guides our attention to the darkest cloaked figure who guards us from the framed boundary of a highly intense redscape

In its initial introduction we note the immense degree of attention which the single source of red demands despite a major imbalance in the amount of pictorial space which its green opponent holds. This attention is reinvigorated once again by the cloaked figure whose silhouette makes its malevolent mark through a secondary-contrast of black on red.

We note the green as the foundation of the piece at hand while red, purple and black provide an accented contrast against this base color. This can be seen everywhere in the cloaked form of our five sorcerers to the same path which they walk upon. Moebius displays a masterful utilization of space and color value to emphasize the light green path in such a subtle yet highly commanding way

The World of Edena began as a routinely-commissioned advertisement for the French carmaker Citron. Over time the French concept artist Moebius fell in love with the story, revitalizing it for his own personal projective endeavours
