Hello everyone and welcome to the top 25... wait, we mean 37 fanfics of the Batfam Fanfic Survey! Usually the survey published a most-voted 25 fanfic, but because of the way the number worked out, we're coming to you with the top 37!

Batfam Fanfic Survey - 2022

Welcome to the Batfam Fanfic Survey! The Batfam Fanfic Survey is a collaborative collection of fanfiction voted on by fans! Our number one goal is to create a collection that shows the diversity and creativity within the Batfam community. This survey will allow readers to vote for their favourite Batfam fanfics and authors and at the end of the survey we will create a collection of the results.

What this survey will do:

Collect Batfam fanfic

Create a collection on AO3 of the fics that have been selected and curated by the people who read fic

Show the range and diversity of Batfam authors

Let readers vote for their favourite fics

Honour authors and signal boost fanfics

What this survey will NOT do:

It not a definitive ranking of the "best" fics or writers. This is a survey through which people can mention the fics that they enjoyed. Every fic that gets at least one vote will be collected into our AO3 collection.

It is not a professionally collected or scientific study, this study is for fun and does not represent a complete and all-encompassing body of batfam fanfiction

It is not a stagnant list. New fics are being added, updated and read all the time! This survey only represents people's recommendations at the moment.

Rules:

All Batfam fanfiction that is currently on ao3 is eligible for the voting process.

All nominated fics should feature members of the batfamily. Every story need not include every batfam member, but batfam members should be at the center.

No bat x bat fics, please. Those fics are not the goal of this survey, though you are free to use this survey as a template to run your own!

Ships with Stephanie and Barbara are not considered to be bat x bat.

Please do not submit works that have been taken down by the author.

Please do not submit works that aren’t listed on ao3
