Ok Rant About the Black Butler Fandom and it's issues

Tw: Sexual Assault/Child Abuse/Child Sexualization/Trauma/Sex Trafficking

My issue with the Black Butler fandom is how much it sexualizes Ciel and Alois's relationships with their butlers. Ciel and Alois are 13 and 14 they should not be shipped with 600 year old demons. Yes some of the artists for the show draw weird shit on their own pages but that does not mean you need to sexualize them. It's just stupidly gross seeing these tiny ass kids being paired with fully grown adults. Most the sexualization is focused on Alois too which is worse. Because not only is Alois a child he's a child who was sexually abused. So drawing this 14 year old sex trafficking victim in slutty little poses and cutesy little lingerie is absolutely horrific. Yes the character is fictional but it doesn't mean it doesn't have negative connotations in the real world too because it's basically saying you don't care if all this happened that "the character is still hot" is disgusting since he's even designed to look like a child. Alois in the series is sexual in the way he acts because of how he was treated when he was younger. No it doesn't excuse his abusive behaviors in the series but it doesn't mean he's a horrible person. He's just traumatized. He was canonically only about seven when he was kidnapped off the streets after his brother just died just to be thrown into a rich old man's basement full of other children. Alois was so badly hurt that he did everything he could try to move up in the world after which happened to result in him killing his abuser and summoning a demon. For short sexualizing kids is icky especially kids who are survivors of sexual assault.
