This year there's three of us! @starcats1219 who did the story, and @intergalactic-iguana did more art! Go check them out! [links in the reblog]

He could hear murmuring from the other wall.

"Hey Logan, Remus is asking if you have any other stories about your partner to share. Roman, right?"

Roman, and the agency as a whole, was a popular topic of discussion. Knowing there was a group of people out there, who had Virgil safe, and were probably worried about what had happened to them, gave the other two hope. But especially, they knew talking about his partner and best friend would be a good distraction for Logan, a way to act as if the pain wasn't there. And it worked, most of the time.

"Of course. Did I ever tell you about the time…"

He went on to tell a story of one of his memories with his partner. And if his voice was shaky, or faded in and out at times, no one complained.

Oh that's a cute headcanon! :0 As someone that loves wearing labcoats i approve u.u

Okay so.

Doylist answer: I'm still relative new to hermitcraft, and only started watching Cub during the Easter egg hunt, so I don't have a good grasp on him yet, most of my knowledge comes from him appearing in Scar's videos. I haven't picked what he is yet, but he sure isn't human lol. (I even drew vex ears in the sketch of the last drawing I have no idea why I didn't draw him as a vex hybrid 🤔)

Watsonian answer, aka I'm using this as an excuse to talk about my headcanons:

Vex hybrids (and other magic-based hybrids) look more mob-like the more magic they're using. Scar too can look pretty human-like elf-like when not using magic, but he often uses magic to walk (otherwise he has to use the wheelchair).

(This were supposed to be quick doodles and then I got carried away o|-( )

For now I have Cub as a vex hybrid like Scar, but 1) he doesn't use as much magic as Scar 2) he's way better at shapeshifting; so he normally looks more human-like. When using magic he too would look more vex-like.

(Yes this answer became an excuse for me to draw Cub and Scar)

Also I've seen some headcanons about evoker Cub and im considering it, if not for my "main" canon as a fun alternative.

(The one on the left is based on a mc dungeon evoker drop, I tried to spice up the basic evoker design. Also I still haven't decided if yes glasses or no glasses)

Anyways, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk, I feel like I haven't explained anything but oh well. Have some drawings.
