Rewatching ATLA as a zukka shipper is just so much fun because like. Objectively as a ship, it works! They're literally paralleled multiple times in the show, they both were forced to grow up too fast, seek their fathers' approvals, have a fun dynamic and lots of chemistry, and just really work well together. Except there is very minimal canon interaction, and the majority of it is aggressive, so 99% of the time, it goes like:

Sokka, throwing his boomerang: Why don't you go back to the Fire Nation, you jerkbending creep!

Zuko, blasting him with fire: Bold words from a Water Tribe peasant!

Me, watching, giggling and kicking my feet: You guys should kisssss

ur dr doodles make me frown /lh you made hifumi skinnier, took away celestias gothic lolita, took away important elements of characters ( mondos pompadour, sakuras skirt ) to make them trendier, why??

I'm sorry you didn't like how I drew the characters? It was my first time really trying out a new style and also my first time drawing Hifumi and I didn't want to make him look super bulbous with chicken legs how he is in game because I don't think that's really good body rep? It's my mistake if I made him skinnier than he should be.

And with Mondo's hair, I don't like his pompadour and I didn't think there'd be a problem changing it? Multiple people draw him without it so I don't really see an issue there.

Then with Sakuras skirt, I don't like the fact that almost every single female character in the games have skirts no matter their ultimate.

Sakura is a martial artist and Yes, she can wear a skirt, and I think she would like skirts, I don't think she should be wearing a skirt that short (or a skirt at all) when training or fighting or working out. I wanted to draw her in the type of outfit you would actually see people doing that kind of stuff in (plus I added in the cardigan to give her more personality because she's not just her ultimate.)

And with Celeste, I tried, man. I can't draw really intricate designs (ex; lace) very well and plus this style is heavily simplified so I tried my best to convey the gothic lolita style with what I was working with.

All of the outfits I put these characters in were just because I thought they were fun and that they would match the characters. That's all

As much as I love ZaDr (and I do, its one of my fav lil ships) can you imagine how GOOD of a dynamic Zim and Dib would have if they were SIBLINGS ???

HEAR ME OUT, HEAR ME OUT.

Zim finally realizes that the Tallests had always just wanted to get rid of him. They never appreciated him, never wanted to see his potential. They probably tell him this to his face. (Well, via a video call) and yk. Zim gets all shmoopsy for a while.

Dib doesn't know what to do so he tries to help in his own way. Anyway. His dad finds out, and Dib best describes it as "Zim was disowned by his parents" and Immediately Prof. Membrane jumps into action and files to adopt Zim (despite there being no legal papers for him? Thats okay!)

Immediately Zim is being moved in (Dib is in utter shock) and has a room built RIGHT next to Dibs (again, he's in utter shock).

"Congratulations, sons ! You are brothers now! Keep an eye on your sister, I'm off to work now! Have fun!"

And for a while it's chaos. Zim and Dib start getting into fights again ("GET OUT OF MY HOUSE" stuff) and Zim even builds a secret lab under his new room (Prof. Membrane doesn't even notice)

It'd be funny !!

After a while they get used to eachother but they'd still bicker and argue and Zim is obviously still overly competitive about stuff. He'd always try to one up Dib for "the fathers love".

Stuff like getting up reaaal early to (try to) make toast. Dib comes downstairs to find the kitchen halfway burnt. Zim's still smug about it anyway.

Professor Membrane would be so proud of his dysfunctional little family. And their weird.. experiment robo dog..

Vee and Hunter could SO pass off as half siblings to make it easier to explain the situation in the human realm. Like. I feel like Vee would be the one to quickfire responses that just ends up being their "story".

People see that Camila is fostering/adopted one child. But then here comes another boy that seems to come and go as he pleases but the entire family seems to refer to him as their brother/son so easily.

Im imagining like, a family gathering where Hunter's invited and someone asks about Hunter and theyre all kinda sweating at the questions being asked until Vee pulls out some shit like "Oh Hunter's actually my half brother. Yeah. Same mom different dad. We lived with our uh... not so great uncle for a WHILE.. after our... mom.. died.. and we got adopted by two different people but we're still siblings yknow? He comes around and we treat him like our own.. cuz he is our own.. yeah."

Then just like that, there's the easiest way to explain it!! Vee and Hunter def pass as half siblings to me.

Im so mad at the fact that people are trying to pin Alador into being "he's not a good dad! Never was never will be. He's abusive and neglectful. He knows what he's doing."

LIKE I GET THAT HE WASNT GOOD IN THE BEGINNING. *HE* KNOWS THAT TOO. He *knows* what he did wrong and he definitely feels remorse for all of what he did and the blind eye he turned to Odalia.

He heard his daughter out. He connected with her !!!! He told her he would try !!! And he is !!!!!!!! Now that Odalia is out of the picture, Alador now has the means to slowly rebuild that family bond with his kids. And you can TELL THAT THE KIDS ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE THEIR DAD. AMITY RRRAANNN TO HUG HIM AFTER THEY FOUND EACHOTHER. SHE LOVES HER DAD, SAME WITH THE TWINS !!! THEY LOVE THEIR DAD !!! THEY KNOW HES TRYING !!!

Alador is regretful. He wishes he couldve done things better but HES DOING THAT NNNOOWW. HE GOT THE DIVORCE. HE HAS HIS KIDS. HES LISTENING TO THEM NOW. HE LOVES THEM AND HES SO PROUD OF WHAT THEYVE ACOMPLISHED. (Thats an ON SCREEN THING. HE TELLS AMITY HOW PROUD HE IS OF HER PROGRESS WITH MAGIC. HOW SHES DOING SO GOOD.)

Alador IS a good dad. He's TRYING. he LOVES his kids. He would DIE for them. Sure he might fall back into old habits of spending all his time in the workshop or forgetting important things from time to time but he's trying his hardest. He probably has like little notes all over his workshop (somewritten by himself others written by his kids cuz they know how he is too) reminding him of things, telling him to take breaks, etc. And hed appreciate that and hed go out and hed cook dinner for the family and the kids would gather around him and bother him while he cooks (mainly edric and emira cuz i think amity would sit at the table and watch from a distance with a smile on her face) and hed very gently try to shoo them off (it dont work) and alador would turn to amity and give her a look like "can you help me?" And she just shakes her head with a BIGGER smile.

Theyd have a GOOD FAMILY DYNAMIC AFTER THE DIVORCE AND U CANT TELL ME THEY WOOULLLDDNNTTT.

AAA YAY OKAY OKAY OKAY !!! I HAVE THE CUTEST LIL HUNTER AND WILLOW SCENARIO IN MY HEAD OK SO.

I think when Hunter and Willow very first make their relationship official, that Hunter's the one who gets flustered easily and that he doesn't have the most experience with relationships. Like at all. And I mean, I don't think Willow does either but she's more confident around Hunter.

Being around him just makes her want to like- pick him up and parade him around and make him feel like he's the most loved guy in the world. And dont get me wrong. Hunter LOVES that. But he kinda wishes that HE had the confidence around Willow to make the moves shes making.

So, one day, after HOURS of hyping himself up (obviously) Hunter's hanging out with Willow and then he gathers up all his courage to give her the TINIEST LITTLE SMECK ON THE FOREHEAD LIKE ITS BARELY ANYTHING AT ALL. BUT HE DID IT.

And Willow goes RED. Now SHES flustered.

And at the end of their hangout/date, Hunter leaves and once he's out of earshot and eyesight he IMMEDIATELY CALLS HIS DAD (Darius. Duh.) AND HES FREAKING OUT AND BEING LIKE "OHH MY TITAN I JUST DID IT. I DID IT"

And Darius is like "??? What ?? What is it that you did? Are you okay???"

And then Hunter's like "I KISSED WILLOW"

"Oh my Titan I didn't think you had it in you. Good going!"

"IT WAS ON HER FOREHEAD"

"..oh boo."

AND THEN MMMEEAANNWHILE YOU HAVE WILLOW WHO LEFT AND SHES IMMEDIATELY SQUEALING ABOUT IT CUZ SSSSHHEEE DIDNT THINK THAT WOULD HAPPEN LIKE THAT AND SHES SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. Gus hears her and gets all confused about it.
