i've been reading a bunch of self insert one piece fics lately (gotta scratch that itch) and it got me thinking what my dream would be. and not even like, in the OP world, just like in real life. and weirdly enough the answer turned out to be to one day have a bunk bed (mattress-size for two people) in my bedroom. like i want this with all the fervor of a child who grew up with a bunk bed but was never allowed to use the top bed because the whole thing might fall apart at any goddamn moment. this is the thing i would follow someone to the end of the world for. this is my "i'm gonna become the king of the pirates" everyone. a bunk bed.

i heard many times that people don't truly die so long as they're remembered. this applies to everything i think. the old tree we used to play in as kids has long since been turned into firewood but it lives in my memories as the pirate ship that was commandeered by a runaway princess. it's said that when you forget a part of you dies and when you remember it comes back to life. most days i don't remember that tree at all and so it remains as dead as the day it was chopped down. but sometimes i remember and it lives, just a little bit, inside my mind. and then i'll forget again and it'll die, but i know it's never for long. one day something will remind me of it and it'll be alive once more. and until that day, that tree is both dead and alive in me

How this works:

You can send me a Tumblr PM with the text you want me to edit, as well as any specifications that you feel are necessary or any info you want me to know.

Once I reply (after taking a quick look at the text to make sure I want to work on it), I will ask you to pay me upfront the corresponding amount, adding your Tumblr username into the message box so I know it’s you.

Fun fact: I started this two years ago, right after the stream when c!Tommy died in prison. It's honestly a miracle I even finished this at all tbh, let alone in time for June.

On c!Techno's crown: It's Chat. The eight white lines/needles that float around his head represent Chat, that's why they try to interact with other characters (like c!Philza and c!Ranboo) and why they become long and sharp sometimes (blood for the blood god). Idk I thought it'd be fun and also it looks a little like a halo which I thought was fitting.

Also I don't know what possessed me to use tones for this instead of shading normally but it did and now we all have to deal with it.

Why is c!Ranboo so fun to draw. He's so shaped. I love it.

When I open my eyes for the first time, it is you I see.

A moment ago, I didn’t have eyes from which to see. A moment ago, there wasn’t an “I” at all. You hum and add a mouth and hands and legs to what is now “me”.

And while your hands weave me into existence line by line, I can only focus on the way you smile.

You leave soon after, and many times after that, but every time you come back you give me something new.

One time it’s a new hairstyle, another it’s a myriad of clothes. It seems that you can’t quite decide what fits me best and are trying them all out. Sometimes you laugh at the outfits you dress me up in, though, so I don’t mind.

Other times you give me Stories. Little bits and pieces that make me “me” as much as the shape of my nose or eyes do. The reason behind the callouses in my fingers, why I frown the way I do, an explanation for the little scar that’s on my knee.

Slowly, with every visit, I become more. Or perhaps I’m simply finding out more about the me you want to create.

Whatever the case, I will cherish anything you wish to give me.

Today, you give me color for the first time. It’s wonderful. I didn’t know that my eyes were supposed to look like that, or that my hair shines under the light. My skin has more shades than I had thought it would too.

You fuss with the colors of the clothes for a long time before you land on something you like, but in all honesty, I’m too busy enjoying my new colors to care about that at all.

There’s a scar on my cheek now. I wonder what Story you thought for me that put it there. I can’t wait to find out.

Oh, the scar moved up and is now in my temple. It tickled a little when it happened. Am I ticklish, I wonder?

The curious and adventurous nature comes as a surprise. I fear it might get me in trouble easily in the Stories, though maybe that was your intention from the start? It’s hard to understand what you’re thinking sometimes, but I trust you.

You change my hair today. I had quite liked the black hair you gave me initially, but the new brown feels more “me”. Though I suppose anything you give me will feel like “me”, since I am what you make of me.

Still, I like the brown hair with the new length. The curls feel nice too. I hope I get to keep them.

You take away my hearing today, in one of the Stories. I can still hear your “voice” like I always have, but everything else is gone.

Is there something you don’t want me to hear, in later Stories? Or do you just think this will make me more “me”? Sounds have been nice, but perhaps not quite for me?

Some of them aren’t as further along in their existences as me, while some are way more whole than I’ve ever been. Is this what you do when you’re not around? Work on them like you do on me?

I noticed that one of them has black hair. I remember having it too. Did you change mine before giving them theirs or was it after?

You took one of my friends out of the Stories today. I could feel the spaces where they used to be before you went back and smoothed it over with your hands. Now it’s like they were never there at all.

Days 10-13: I had very few ideas and even less inspiration, so I didn't bother with these lol.

Day 14: So, how do I phrase this... In theory I had a lot of ideas and inspiration and I wanted to do a whole collage with popsicles and lolipops and whatnot because I know nothing about candycore except that it has candy in it. In practice tho I drew Lambo and slapped a candy png in the background to fit the bill before calling it a day. But! It's Lambo! The cutest, most annoying, five-year-old candy-lover to ever five-year-old! That's gotta count for something.

Day 15: I'd been looking forward to this one since the challenge dropped! Mostly because I wanted to make an animatic about these two pirates with this song and just don't have the time for it :( BUT! I could manage this drawing, which didn't quite turn out how I envisioned but that's on par for the course so whatever. The song is "The Ballad of Love and Hate" by The Avett Brothers, and it's the sweetest song. I love it. Go listen to it. (On a different note, I love Buggy so much you've no idea, so obviously I spent a good hour looking up the sluttiest poses to put him in because he deserves it, and this is the one I used as reference for this.)

Overall, I'm tired but content lol.

Day 6: So I immediately drew (hah) a blank and then remembered I literally have a cat!SQQ AU and it spiraled from there. This one is actually Shen Jiu not Shen Yuan, and i like to imagine he's thinking about knocking YQY's cup off the table just to spice things up in this godawful peak lord meeting he's obligated to attend.

Day 7: I swear I was going to Nami, i swear, I even did the sketch! But then I finished Usopp and I just knew in my heart that nothing else I drew that day would match his level (and, to be fair, i did try, though perhaps i gave up a little too quickly— but can you blame me? look at that usopp! it's distracting!) (Also here's the base reference I used)

Day 8: This was more of an excuse to draw the twins than an effort to draw that insane dorito, but it turned out really fucking good anyways.

Day 9: Look. Look. When I read rarepair/crossover ship I immediately wanted to draw Brook x Sans fanart (because it'd be hilarious) but then i realized I would have to draw two skeletons and (while i did try briefly) I straight up decided that the headache wasn't worth it. So then I was like, oh I can draw Luffy & Frisk fanart instead, since they're both little rays of sunshine and it could be fun. But then I wasn't feeling it either so I ended up with this instead. Which. It's less a crossover ship and more a crossover AU but whatever. Idk it took me like an hour to finish because I kept getting distracted by the idea of an OP AU where the ASL fall into Mt Ebbot (Mt Columbo?) and the monsters are just the rest of the OP cast or something. I might write about that later idk.

Overall— still having fun? Yeah.
