Will you be continuing Love and Other Dogs? Or is it complete?
I think it’s complete. I have toyed with the idea of rewriting it, because I feel like some bits a weak, but I’m not sure. I’m also having some serious writers block 😅

So I just finished Where the Crawdads Sing and now I need more book recommendations. I’m open to anything. Nothing super saucy, because I don’t care for crazy steamy romance books.
Please feel free to leave any recommendation.

*putting my clown make up on* no, but it still doesn’t sit right with me how they not only left eddie’s body in the upside down but the whole squad minus dustin acts like he didn’t even exist, never mentioning and mourning him the way his uncle and dustin did. it doesn’t feel realistic at all, not after they bonded and fought together. not even mike or lucas who looked up to eddie even before the whole vecna thing. this is what makes me believe he’s not actually dead and that ‘two days later’ time skip was used to sort of do the background work of dragging eddie back into the real world, patching him up and hiding him from the police and talking to his uncle was necessary to make the whole story of eddie ‘missing and presumed dead’ believable? idk, it’s just the lack of reaction from the gang feels so bizarre that i’m leaning towards this theory. OR none of it has any chance and it was just an extremely bad writing 🤡

Pairing: Joe Keery x Female!reader
A/N: I’ve been watching Stranger Things and I’m completely in love with Joe Keery. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s kind of proofread but not well.
Warnings: pregnancy, birth, labor, pain
Sweet Baby
The lights in the living room were dimmed as soft ocean noises filled the air along with the light smell of lavender.
“Mmmhh.” You let out a long low moan as another contraction raked through your lower stomach and lower back.
“You’re doing great, mama.” Your husband Joe trailed kisses along your shoulder as he helped support your large bump, his thumbs rubbing circles into your stomach. You blew out a long breath, leaning your head back to rest on Joe’s shoulder, eyes closed, your hands resting on top of his. Joe gently swayed you guys back and forth as he whispered words of encouragement in your ear.
“Ooooooo.” You groaned a little louder this time, gripping Joe’s wrists.
“Deep breaths, in through your nose,” he breathed in with you, “out through your mouth.” You exhaled together riding out your contraction. “Good job.” He kissed the side of your head.
“Boy or girl?” You asked, trying to take your mind off the pain.
“I think we’re having a girl.” You could hear the smile in his voice. “She’ll have your smile and your big eyes.”
“I’m feeling a boy.” You took a deep breath, blowing it out slowly. “Whichever we have, I think they’ll have your crazy head of hair.” You both chuckled about his luscious locks as you swayed back and forth.
“Can we try that dangly squat position thing?” You asked turning around in Joe’s arms, leaning your forehead on his chest, no longer comfortable in your current position.
“Mmh.” You gripped fist fulls of Joe’s shirt, and breathed through another contraction. “I think they’re getting closer together.”
“They’re still about seven minutes apart.” Joe informed, supporting you as you clasped your hands together behind his neck and squatted, alleviating some of the pressure in your pelvis.
“Only seven? It seems so much closer.” You took in a deep breath, blowing it out slowly. Joe chuckled softly, kissing your head a few times, offering more words of encouragement.
“Okay! Pool is set up and water is nice and warm!” Your midwife said making her way over to you. “I just want to check the baby’s heartbeat then we can get you in the pool.” She moved the fetal doppler around, quickly finding the heartbeat.
“Nice and strong.” She smiled at you. “You’re doing very well.” You gave her a tired smile as Joe helped you out of the oversized shirt you had been wearing. Leaving you in just a nursing bra. He helped you step into the pool following behind you.
Slipping into the warm water you felt a little relaxed, until another contraction hit, you groaned, your fingernails digging into Joe’s arm until it was over.
“I’m sorry.” You said panting a little, trying to regain normal breathing. “That one was more intense than the others.”
“It’s okay.” Joe chuckled softly pushing some stray pieces of hair out of your face. “Whatever gets you through them, baby.” You smiled, snuggling into him more, letting your eyes close while you had some brief peace. Joe tickled your back and continued telling you how amazing you were and how great you were doing.
“Oh, here comes another one.” You squeezed your eyes shut and pushed your back against Joe’s chest, bracing for the contraction. “Mmmh, it hurts.” You whimpered, your head falling back onto Joe’s shoulder as you tried to catch your breath.
“You’re so strong, honey.” He kissed your head. “You’re doing so so good.” Just as your caught your breath another wave of a contraction came.
“Ooooooh.” You moaned digging your nails into Joe’s arms again. You were panting and a slight sweat had broken out on your forehead.
“Those seemed liked they were about two minutes apart let-“ you cut off your midwife with a long low moan as another contraction hit you.
“I feel like I need to push.” You panted, riding out the end of the contraction.
“Let’s see how dilated you are.” Your midwife checked you, “who’s ready to have a baby?” She smiled at you and Joe. You smiled up at Joe who was beaming as he looked at you. Love and adoration filled his eyes.
“I love you.” He whispered and rubbed his nose against yours.
“I love you.” You whispered back and closed the distance between you guys, kissing him softly.
“Okay, Y/N next contraction I want you to bear down, tuck your chin to your chest and push.” Your midwife positioned herself in front of you, ready to help bring your baby into the world.
“Dad, I’m gonna need you to help hold Y/N’s legs back while she pushes.” She looked up at Joe who nodded, gently pulling your legs back.
“Mmh,” you whimpered feeling the urge to push again as a big contraction started. You did as your midwife instructed, tucking your chin to your chest you pushed letting out a loud groan as you did. The contraction passed and you had a second to rest before the next one started.
“You’re doing so good.” Joe whispered in your ear as you balled his shorts in your firsts bracing for the next contraction. “Ow, ow, ow, ooowww.” You cried as your biggest contraction yet hit you.
“That’s great Y/N, push, push, push.” Your midwife encouraged you. You let out a yell as you pushed as hard as you could, falling back into Joe panting once your contraction passed.
“You’re doing so good, wanna feel your baby’s head?” She asked with a big smile. You eagerly nodded and reached a shaky hand down and got to feel your baby’s head starting to crown, happy tears slipping down your cheeks.
“A few more pushes and baby will be here.” She smiled. “You’re doing so good and you’re almost done”
You took a few breaths feeling your next contraction beginning to start, you let out an almost primal yell as you pushed.
“Good, good, now I want you to rest through the next contraction or two. Breathe through them, get some strength back.” Your midwife said checking the baby’s heartbeat while you caught your breath.
“Joe, I don’t know if I can do this anymore.” You panted through a contraction. “Can I feel the head again?” You needed a little more encouragement than Joe’s sweet words.
“Of course!” Your midwife giggled. “Would you guys like to see too?” You and Joe eagerly nodded and she slipped a mirror into the pool, giving you guys a full view of the whole top of your baby’s head crowning.
“Woah.” Joe sniffled and kissed your head.
“It’s amazing.” You whispered, reaching down to feel again.
“That’s a lot of hair.” Joe chuckled in your ear, making you laugh.
“I told you!” You reached up running your hand through is massive amount of hair.
“Oooh.” You groaned gripping a handful of Joe’s hair, causing him to shout in surprise. “Oo, sorry, mmhh.” You didn’t mean to pull his hair, it just happened to be where your hand was when the contraction hit.
“I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t mean to pull your hair.” You said as you regained your normal breathing.
“It’s okay, I was just caught off guard.” He chuckled, but did gently guide your hand back to resting on his leg.
“Okay, next contraction I want you to push.” Your midwife got back in front of you. You nodded, feeling the urge to push take over your body. You gripped Joe’s thighs, loudly groaning as you pushed, watching the mirror as your baby’s head come fully into the world.
“Oh my gosh.” Joe said in amazement at the miracle of childbirth. You took the brief second between contractions to catch your breath and muster up you last bit of strength. “You’re almost there, you’re so amazing.” Joe kissed your head.
“Last push, okay? Then we’ll have baby!” Your midwife smiled wide at you guys. You nodded unable to find words, you were exhausted and just wanted your baby in your arms. Your contraction came full force and you lost all composure, you let out a wild scream as you pushed, nails digging into Joe’s thighs sure to leave marks.
“That’s it baby, you’re doing so good.” Joe whispered to you. You screamed louder as you pushed one last time, finally feeling your baby slide free, relief flooding your body. Without even realizing it your instincts had kicked in and you helped deliver your baby, bringing them out of the water.
“It’s a girl!” Your midwife exclaimed, helping place your baby girl on your chest. You sobbed with relief and joy, holding her close to you.
“Hi sweet girl.” You kissed her head. “Hi, my sweet sweet baby.” Joe’s hands came to rest on top of yours holding you and your sweet baby girl close to him.
“My two beautiful girls.” He ran his fingers gently over your baby’s wild hair.
“You did amazing, mama.” He kissed your head and held you closer.

Love and Other Dogs: Part 15
Pairing: singledad!chrisevans x femalereader
Warnings: emergency c-section, baby in distress. Emotional
A/N: This is long overdue, life got crazy. It’s not my best work, but I hope you like it! This is probably the last chapter. I do have an idea floating around for a new story so stay tuned for that. Thanks for everyone’s support!
“Mama.” Ollie giggled, unable to hide his laughter. It was April fools day and he was having himself a ball playing tricks all morning. “Yes bubba?” You smiled at how excited he was. “There’s a bird on your head!” You gasped and grabbed at your head. “Get it off! Get it off!” You pretended. “April fools!” He shouted, cracking up. “Oh you got me again!” You laughed with him. “I’m gonna go tell that one to daddy!” He ran off to your bedroom to play his new prank on Chris. You were working on the nursery, putting the finishing touches on. With you being due at the end of the month and your baby shower next week, you were definitely nesting. You had cleaned up around the house, washed the bedding for the cribs, washed any clothes you had bought. Packed and repacked your hospital bag, had Chris put the car seats in the car, making sure to double check they were in right.
You were folding and organizing clothes when it happened. There was a pop between your legs and a gush of warm fluid, it quickly soaked through your underwear and your pants. You stood frozen, you had no idea what to do, you were only 36 weeks along.
“Chris!” You shouted a little louder and more frantically than you had meant to. “CHRIS!” You heard two sets of footsteps clambering down the hall.
“W-what? Is everything okay?” Chris asked, catching his breath, Ollie bumping into his legs from his sudden stop. “I think my water broke.” His eyes went wide, “April fools?” It came out as a question. You shook your head. “N-no.” Chris stood frozen too unsure of what to do next.
“Um w-w-we need to call your mom, I need new pants, the rug is possibly ruined, uuh the hospital! W-we need to go to the hospital!” You listed off everything you could think of. “Okay! Okay, this is happening.” Chris took a deep breath. “I’ll call my mom.” He ran to get his phone. “I’ll get you pants!” Ollie shouted and ran to your room. You made your way to the bathroom across the hallway, more fluid flowing with every step. “Mom is on her way!” Chris walked by the bathroom not even seeing you and went to the nursery. “Y/N?” He sounded panicked. “Bathroom!” Chris was quick to be in the bathroom. “I won’t stop leaking.” You gave a slight chuckle from your spot on the toilet. Chris laughed and kissed you. “This is really happening, isn’t it?” He asked, leaning his forehead on yours. You nodded your head and gave him another quick kiss.
Lisa arrived quickly and with a few kisses and hugs to Ollie you and Chris were on your way to the hospital. You had called your doctor to inform him that your water had broken and that you were heading to the hospital. You felt like everything was moving in fast forward. One second you were laughing at Ollie’s jokes and the next second you were on the way to the hospital in Captain America pajama pants, just hours away from meeting your babies. You and Chris sat in a comfortable silence, enjoying the last moments before life gets crazy.
Once at the hospital, you were checked in and shown to a room, quickly changed into a gown and monitors hooked up to keep an eye on the babies.
“Hi mom. How are we doing?” Your doctor asked as he came into the room to check on your progress. “Scared.” You answered honestly, “but so excited.” Your eyes met Chris’ he gave you an encouraging smile and kissed your forehead. “Okay let’s see what’s going on.” The doctor sat himself at the end of your bed, waiting for the monitors to pick up the heartbeats. As soon as they were on the screen, things got crazy. Baby A’s heartbeat was under 120. “We might have a cord prolapse.” The doctor said, causing everyone to jump into action. “What’s that?” Chris asked, holding your hand tightly in his. “Okay, call down to the OR and let them know we’re coming with an emergency c-section.” The doctor gave out orders. “What’s going on?” You asked, tears slipping down your cheeks. “Baby A’s cord has slipped past the cervix and is sitting in your vagina, so the cord is being crushed between his body and your pelvic bone, which is causing a lack of oxygen and blood flow for him and making his heart rate drop. So we have to get the babies out now via c-section.” The doctor explained. More nurses came in and started to get you ready for surgery. “Sir come with me and we’ll get you ready.” A nurse said to Chris. “No! No no no, please don’t leave me!” You were upset and in a panic, you wouldn’t let go of his hand. This was not at all how you guys had planned for this to go. “Bubba, it's gonna be okay.” Chris pushed your hair back and kissed you. “I’m gonna go get ready and I’ll be waiting for you and we’ll get to meet our babies.” He kissed you a few more times. “No no no.” You whispered, holding his hand tighter. Tears freely flowing down your face. “I’m scared.” Chris gave you a warm smile. He was crying now too. He hated seeing you like this. It was breaking his heart. “I know sweetheart.” He ran his fingers through your hair. “It’s gonna be alright. You’re so strong and you’re in the best hands and we’re gonna get to meet our baby boys soon.” He wiped your tears away. “I’ll be waiting for you in the operating room, okay?” He kissed you. “Promise?” Your bottom lip quivered. “Promise.” He nodded, smiling. You nodded your head, and let go of his hand and with that Chris was pulled away and gone in the blink of an eye. Everything became a blur. Nurses everywhere, moving at lightning speed. Before you knew it you were in the operating room, a scrub clad Chris by your head telling you how great you were doing and how proud of you he was. Your head was dizzy from the medicine and you were having trouble keeping up with everything and you felt like you were gonna be sick. “Look at me mama.” Chris stroked your cheek. Your eyes focused on his face. He smiled at you and kissed your head a few times and kept telling you how great you were doing. “We have baby A, it’s a boy!” The doctor exclaimed, followed by a loud strong cry. You cried at the sound. “Dad, would you like to cut the cord?” Chris didn’t hesitate to say yes. Once the cord was cut the doctor lifted the baby above the curtain so you could see him. It was a quick glance, but he was perfect and beautiful. “He’s perfect.” Chris was beaming and kissed you, happy tears replacing his ones from fear. “We have another boy!” The doctor exclaimed again, another loud strong cry filling the room. Chris cut the cord again and you got another quick glance of your second baby. You let out a sigh of relief, they were here and both okay. “Another perfect baby, mama.” Chris peppered kisses all over your face. “Go be with them please.” You said giving him another kiss. The room was full of chatter and medical tools clanging around you as you laid there, finally being able to breathe again, tears of joy and relief slipping down the side of your face.
“Let’s say hi to your beautiful mama.” Chris said, sitting down holding both babies. He turned to show you both of your boys. They were tiny in his big strong arms. “They’re tiny.” You whispered. “They’re each just above 5 pounds.” Chris leaned the babies closer to you so you could kiss each of their heads. “They have Ollie’s giant eyes and tons of hair.” Chris chuckled. “Both healthy and strong, nurses said no NICU time.” You blew out a deep breath closing your eyes, more tears flowing. “That’s so so so good.”
The doctor finished up everything and you were being moved to your room to recover and the babies were being taken to the nursery so you could get some rest. You were so excited for them to finally be here and you couldn’t wait to love on them and show them to everyone, but you could barely keep your eyes open on the ride back to your room.
_________
“Hi mama.” Chris smiled at you as you woke up from your nap, raking his finger through your hair. “Hi.” You smiled, he kissed the hand he was holding. “I can’t believe they’re here.“ You sighed. Chris’ smile grew, “I can’t either. They’re perfect, baby. 20 fingers and 20 toes.” You chuckled. “When can I see them?” You winced as you adjusted yourself to be in a sitting position. “How about right now?” Chris got up and pushed two bassinets towards your bed. “Oh hi my sweet boys.” You said quietly as you lifted one of the tiny babies up, kissing his tiny face all over. “Can you help so I can hold both of them?” You asked Chris as you cradled the tiny baby. You watched as Chris carefully picked up your second bundle of joy. He looked even smaller in Chris' large hands. You smiled watching Chris place a few small kisses on your baby’s cheek before he carefully placed him in your arms. “You did so great today, mama.” Chris kissed you lovingly, then gave each baby a kiss on the head. “They’re perfect.” You whispered kissing all over their small faces. “They look just like Ollie.” Chris chuckled and slid into the bed next to you, one arm wrapping around you securely, his other hand coming to run over their full heads of hair. “Who is who?” You asked, laughing. Chris laughed loudly causing the babies to squirm a bit. “Oh sorry, sorry.” He cooed, caressing their soft faces. “This little one,” he ran a finger through the hair of the baby on your right side. “Is baby A or Julian.” You softly chuckled at his goofy introduction. You took in Julian’s tiny features. He did have Ollie’s giant eyes, a head full of crazy hair mirroring the color of yours, and his nose was tiny, but was definitely Chris’ nose. “And this little one is Axel.” Chris ran his thumb over Axel’s forehead and down his tiny nose. Axel’s eyes were just as big as his two older brothers, a head full of crazy hair, the color of his closer to Chris’ color, his nose a good mix of yours and Chris’. “They’re so handsome.” You kissed their faces and inhaled their sweet scents. You and Chris sat enjoying the quiet, his arm around you, your head resting on his shoulder, both of you just taking everything in till there was a knock at the door and a nurse poked her head in.
“Hi, I have a few people out here that would like to come say hi if that’s okay?”
“Yeah of course!” You and Chris chimed together with big smiles. The nurse opened the door wider and revealed a giddy looking Ollie and Chris’ mom and siblings behind him with balloons and flowers. Ollie bounced over excited to see his new siblings. “Hey bubba.” Chris said, picking Ollie up and sitting him in front of you guys on the bed. “Now we gotta be really careful bub, mama’s got a big cut on her belly.” Ollie nodded and stayed in his spot on the bed not moving. You chuckled softly and how cautious he was being. “It’s okay bubba you can come closer.” You reassured him. Ollie very carefully crawled into Chris’ lap and sat there staring at the babies. “Hi sweet boy.” You kissed his cheek. “Would you like to meet your baby brothers?” He nodded and scooted closer to you, peeking at the bundles of blankets. “Careful.” Chris whispered. “They’re so small.” Ollie whispered, mesmerised by the tiny babies. He carefully stroked their heads, quickly pulling his hands away when Axel stretched, causing all the adults to laugh. “It’s okay, he was only stretching.” Chris reassured him. “Want to hold him?” Ollie nodded and Chris moved him back to his lap. Chris carefully took Axel from you and gently placed him in Ollie’s arms, keeping his hand on Axel’s head to help Ollie support it properly. You watched Ollie get excited when Axel opened his eyes and stared at him, blinking a few times trying to adjust to the bright light. You smiled widely watching Chris watch Ollie as he talked to his little brother. Ollie was happy to hold his baby brother until he started to cry, the panicked look that quickly spread across his face made everyone laugh, he pulled his hands away and hid in Chris’ chest. “It’s okay bubba.” Chris laughed. “He’s just hungry, he’s kinda loud though?” Ollie nodded, his hands over his ears. “I’ll feed him!” Lisa said, jumping at the opportunity to hold her new grandbaby. “I’ll trade you! Food for a baby!” Carly held up a bag of fast food. “Deal.” You laughed and traded Julian for the food. Carly and Shanna gushed over him while Lisa and Scott gushed over Axel. You and Chris sat with Ollie eating and talking, you sighed content feeling the love and happiness fill the room, excited for what the future held for your little family.
“I love you.” Chris said, kissing your temple.
“I love you, too.” You said back and kissed him.

Love and Other Dogs: Part 14
Pairing: singledad!chrisevans x femalereader
Warnings: mentions of throw up and a little bit of angst
“I’m sorry.” Chris cleared his throat, his eyes not meeting yours. “It was uh- it was a silly idea.” He reached for the box, but you moved out of his reach. “It’s not silly.” You looked at him confused. “I just- can I have a little time to think about it?” You wiped a tear from your face, trying to be in control of your emotions. Chris nodded his head. “Yeah, yeah take all the time you need.” You tucked the ring away in your nightstand and looked at Chris. “Hold me?” You whispered. He nodded pulling you close to him, his face buried in your hair, hand resting on your stomach. Your hand came to rest on top of his. You guys laid in silence, sleep not coming as easy as it had earlier.
___________
The next couple of weeks were quiet between you and Chris, despite it being Christmas and New Years. He was giving you space and time to think and you were embarrassed that you needed the time to think. You guys hosted Christmas and New Years and you were confident that you and Chris had acted fairly normal while everyone was around. That was until Lisa and your mom cornered you in the kitchen on New Years Eve when you were getting champignon flutes full of sparkling grape juice for yourself and the kids to cheer at midnight.
“What’s going on with you two?” Your mom questioned with a suspicious look. “Yeah, what did my meatball of a son do?” You chuckled through the tears that started to slip down your cheeks. “He’s not the meatball, I am.” You turned to face the two older women, their faces dropped when they saw you were crying. “Oh honey.” They pulled you into a hug, rubbing your back. You explained the situation to them between sobs and hiccups as you tried to gain control of your breathing and stop your tears. You had been holding onto all of these emotions for weeks. You had tried talking to Alice about it but she said that you were being an idiot for not saying yes right away. That was not helpful nor did it make you feel any better.
“Well, what’s keeping you from saying yes?” Lisa asked after you had calmed down. “I-I don’t really know. I guess I’m scared.” Your voice was small and weak. “I feel like we’ve just done all of this so fast.” You chuckled, your lip quivering. “And I’m afraid that if we rush into marriage it might not last.” You were voicing all of your concerns and fears and doubts and they just sat there listening, letting you get everything off your chest. “I feel like what we have now is still so new and it’s so good, we’ve not even had our first fight yet.” Both women laughed. “Just wait till you’re both tired from taking care of two newborns and a small child.” Lisa patted your hand. “You’re gonna have plenty of time for fights, I wouldn’t worry about that.” Your mom laughed.
“I’ve seen the way my son looks at you, how he talks about you, since the day you guys met. I’ve never seen him like this with anyone else.” Lisa reassured Chris’ love for you. Not that you needed to be reassured, you knew he loved you. “Do you want to say yes?” Your mom asked and your eyes shot to hers then to Lisa’s. Both anxious for your answer. You opened your mouth to answer, but Ethan came running in interrupting your talk. “Grandma, Cookie, aunt Y/N! Come on, the countdown is gonna be starting!” The kid was in the kitchen and back out before you guys could even turn around. You sucked in a deep breath and wiped your face, hoping you didn’t look too crazy. Your mom squeezed your shoulders and gave you a hug before heading to the living room. Lisa handed you a sparkling grape juice and caressed your cheek. “It’s gonna be okay, sweetie.” She smiled and followed your mom with the tray of drinks. With a deep breath you walked into the living room and Chris immediately noticed you had been crying and made his way to you, pulling you close to him. He pushed some hair out of your eyes, thumb wiping a stray tear away. He was searching your eyes trying to figure out what was wrong. The countdown began around you guys, but you were too caught up in each other's stare to take part. The love and concern that filled Chris’ eyes made your heart flutter and had you feeling drunk. You could honestly say that you had never felt this way with any other boyfriend. You missed him even if he was only downstairs and you were upstairs. He made you feel safe, but empowered. He always had you laughing, always giving you compliments making you feel beautiful. Who were you trying to kid, you had been head over heels for the guy since that first lunch date after meeting at the park.
“Yes.” You looked up at him. He gave you a confused look then he realized what you were talking about. “Yes?” He asked, a smile starting to spread across his face. “Yes.” You nodded, happy tears sliding down your cheeks. Chris cupped your face, rubbing his nose against yours before he kissed you passionately. There were cheers and a chorus of “Happy New Year’s” and pops from confetti happening all around you guys like you were in a movie.
______________
“Mom’s gonna pick Ollie up from school and keep him for the weekend to give us some alone time for Valentine’s Day.” Chris gave the rundown of his phone call he had just had with his mom as he came into the bedroom. “Babe?” He called out when he didn’t find you in the bedroom. “Bathroom!” You called back. You were laid in the bath, hoping the warm water would soothe the unbelievable back pain you were having or soothe the tumbling babies in your belly. They were stronger and their kicks would hurt sometimes now. “I thought you hated the bath?” Chris asked, confused with a chuckle. “I do, but standing in a shower just felt like too much work.” You sighed, closing your eyes. Without any warning Chris was sliding into the tub behind you. “Baby-“ you started to warn, but were cut short when Chris started to massage your back. “Oooh, a little lower?” You asked as your head fell back, resting on his shoulder. He chuckled and did as you asked, placing a few kisses down your neck to your shoulder. “We’ll have a low key Valentine’s Day tomorrow. We’ll order dinner in, watch a movie or something.” You nodded, relaxing more as he applied more pressure to your back. You and Chris stayed in the bath till the water went cold. Chris helped you out of the tub and helped you dry off and get dressed. “Thank you for taking care of me.” You tried your best to get comfy in bed. “Of course, mama.” Chris got into bed with you kissing your cheek and continued rubbing your back. “Ooo.” You sucked in a deep breath as you guys watched one of the babies flip completely around and the other stretched their arm out, you guys being able to see the imprint of their hand. “That was wild.” Chris said in amazement. “Wow, they’re like really in there.” You laughed at him, “what did you think I was growing these last 7 months? Pumpkins?” He laughed at your joke, moving to talk to the babies, placing small kisses all over your bump.
_____________
“What about Elliott?” Chris asked from his spot behind you, he had been rubbing you back, but now his hands were running over your very large and in charge bump. “Mmh what about steak?” You asked, showing him the menu to a restaurant you had searched on your phone. “Elliott and Steak? It’s got a good ring to it.” Chris laughed. “Wait what?” You giggled looking at him. “I was talking about dinner. What were you talking about?” Chris laughed, “I was talking baby names, but steak does sound good.” He took your phone to look at the menu. “Oh what were you thinking?” You moved to sit up right. “I think the steak sounds good, with a baked potato, and broccoli.” You nudged him with your shoulder, taking your phone back. “What names, silly goose?” Chris bumped your shoulder back “I said what about Elliott, what do you think?” You hummed thinking, “I agree, the baked potato, but with a really big salad, and the chocolate lava cake to share.” Chris laughed loudly. “What?” You scrunched your nose confused. “What do you think of Elliott?” He asked, tucking some hair behind your ear. “I like Elliott. Elliott Scott, sounds perfect.” You smiled at Chris. “Really?” He looked surprised. “Of course.” You leaned up and gave him a sweet kiss. “One name down, one to go!” You laughed trying to get up. “Where are you trying to go?” Chris pulled you back down on the couch. “I was gonna order dinner, we’re starving.” You playfully pouted, rubbing your swollen bump. “I got it, you relax!” He kissed your head and went to go order the food. “Alright! Dinner should be here in about an hour. Very busy on Valentine’s Day!” Chris laughed plopping back on the couch. “What about Julian? Elliott and Julian, I think it sounds nice.” You asked. “I like that. I like that a lot.” I think we just pick our names.” Chris chuckled, pulling you into him. “I love you.” You pecked his chest. “I love you more.” Chris kissed your head, his hands brushed through your hair. “I’m not sure the house will ever be this quiet again.” He chuckled. As if on cue Chris’ phone rang. “It was a good try.” You laughed.
“Hey ma, happy Valentine’s Day.” Chris smiled into the phone, but his smile quickly fell. “Okay, I’ll be right there.” He said hanging up. “Is everything okay?” You asked, getting worried. “Ollie’s got a fever and- what are you doing?” He asked as you struggled to get up from the couch. “I’m going with you to get my baby.” You said slipping your jacket on. “I can get him, you stay home.” You shook your head grabbing the car keys and headed out the door without another word. “Baby I’ll drive!” Chris called after you.
Thirty minutes later you were pulling up to Lisa’s house. You were out of the car as soon as Chris put it in park. Chris caught up to you at the door just as Lisa opened it. “I’m sorry I called.” Lisa gave you a frown. “No! Don’t be sorry!” You squeezed her arms and gave her a reassuring smile. “Where is he?” Chris asked. “He’s resting on the couch.” You and Chris quickly made your way to the living room. “Hi bubba.” You knelt down with Chris’ help and brushed Ollie’s hair out of his face. “How ya feeling?” Ollie looked up at you guys, his big eyes watering. “Mama, I got sick.” His lip quivered and a few tears slipped down his face. “Oh baby I’m sorry. I know that was probably very scary.” You wiped his tears away. He nodded his head and held out his arms for a hug, you pulled him close to you and kissed his cheek a few times. “Let’s get you home and get you into bed.” Chris said and you let him take Ollie from your embrace. “Will you snuggle me?” Ollie asked, reaching out for you. “Of course baby.” You held his hand, giving it a kiss. You guys said your goodbyes to Lisa and headed back home.
“Daddy, I don’t feel good.” Ollie said as you guys pulled into the driveway. You frowned and looked back at him, he was pale, almost green and he started to cry. “Baby he’s gonna be sick, get him out of the car.” You pushed Chris’ arm trying to hurry him out of the car. Chris jumped into action, getting Ollie out of the car just in time for him to not get sick in the car, but unfortunately he got sick all over Chris and himself. “I’m sorry.” Ollie was crying. “It’s okay baby.” Chris rubbed his back. “Let’s get you in the shower.” You closed up the car and followed behind the boys. “I don’t like getting sick.” Ollie cried, hugging Chris’ neck. Once in the door you helped Chris get Ollie’s clothes off, and Chris’ jacket so you could toss them in the washer. “Mama! I need you!” Ollie called for you as they made their way up the stairs. “I’ll be right there bubba!” You called after him as the doorbell rang through the house. You waddled back to the front door to be met by the delivery guy from the restaurant with your food. You had completely forgotten all about the food once you found out about Ollie. You quickly accepted the food and tossed it in the fridge, making your way upstairs to be with Ollie. You helped Ollie get dressed once he was out of the shower and got him comfy in yours and Chris’ bed while Chris took a quick shower. “This isn’t fun.” Ollie said matter of fact, making you chuckle. “I know baby, I’m sorry you don’t feel good.” You snuggled him closer, playing with his hair. You played with his hair till he was sleeping.
“Hey.” Chris whispered, coming into the room. “How’s he doing?” You pushed some of Ollie’s hair out of his face, pressing a kiss to his forehead. “He just fell asleep.” You whispered back. Chris sat on the edge of the bed giving you a smile. “Sorry our first Valentine’s Day turned out like this.” You shrugged, pulling Ollie closer to you. “It’s okay, now I get to spend Valentine’s Day with both my boys.” Chris smiled and gave you a sweet kiss. “The food came, it's in the fridge.” You batted your eyes at Chris. He chuckled and kissed you again. “I’ll go heat it up.” You smiled wide, “thank you.”
You guys ate dinner in bed, sharing hushed laughs, and sweet kisses. “Thank you for everything.” You whispered over Ollie who was snuggled into your side. “Thank you for everything.” Chris smiled back and kissed you softly.

Love and Other Dogs: Part 13
Pairing: singledad!chrisevans x femalereader
“Excited mama?” Chris asked, kissing your hand that he was holding. You were at your 20 week ultrasound and getting ready to hopefully find out the genders of the babies. You bit your lip and looked up at him nodding. You were beyond excited to find out what you were having. You could finally start the nursery and start buying things. Ollie was dying to know what you were having, along with the rest of your family.
“This is gonna be a little cold.” The doctor warned before he put the gel on your rounded belly. “Ooo.” You chuckled at how cold it actually was. The doctor moved the ultrasound wand around, the heartbeats filling the room, making a large smile spread across your face. “My favorite song.” Chris whispered against your knuckles, placing soft kisses along them. Chris had been excited since you made this appointment, but this past week he was practically bouncing with excitement.
“They look great, both growing exactly how they should be.” The doctor clicked a few buttons, taking measurements and pictures. “Ready to see if we can find out what we’re having?”
“I’ve been ready since Y/N told me she was pregnant.” Chris beamed, holding your hand closer to him.
“Alright, Baby A. Let’s see if we can get them to show us,” the doctor trailed off for a second, still moving the wand a little. Chris squeezed your hand, the anticipation becoming too much for him. “Baby A is a boy! Congratulations!”
“Another boy!” You and Chris said at the same time, making you all laugh. “Sorry baby, you’re really outnumbered now.” Chris chuckled, pushing your hair out of your face and giving your forehead a few quick kisses.
“Ready for Baby B?” The doctor asked, you and Chris both nodded eagerly. “Baby B is a boy!”
“Three boys.” Chris whispered, kissing all over your face.
The doctor wiped the gel off of you and Chris helped you sit up.
“Congratulations.” The doctor gave you a big smile. “They both look great, growing perfectly, and heartbeats are strong.” He smiled.
“Thank you, Doctor.” Chris shook his hand. “My pleasure! We'll see you next month!” You said your goodbyes and made your next appointment with the receptionist on the way out.
“Three boys.” Chris sighed once you guys were back in the car. “I can’t believe it.” His large hands came to rest on your stomach. “Hi sweet boys.” He kissed your stomach. “Your big brother is gonna be so excited.” You smiled, your hand running through his hair.
“Bubba.” You interrupted his talking. He looked up at you with a smile and pecked your lips. “I’m hungry.” You smiled sheepishly, giving him another quick kiss. “What would you like to eat mama?” He sat up right in his seat.
“Taco Bell, it sounds soooo good right now.” You chuckled. You normally eat relatively well, but this craving for Taco Bell kept getting stronger each day. “Really?” Chris laughed as he started the car. You nodded. “I’ve not had it in many years, but I saw a commercial the other day and now I really want some nachos and a Crunchwrap, and a chili cheese burrito, and maybe those cinnamon twist things.” You giggled. “Oh and a Baja blast!” Chris laughed, shaking his head. “You’re cute.” His hand came to rest on your thigh.
With a brief stop at Taco Bell you guys were home and enjoying the greasy fast food.
“Everything you wanted?” Chris raised an eyebrow at you. “Mmhmm.” You hummed your mouth full of burrito, washing it down with the soda. You hiccuped from the bubbles and Chris laughed at you while enjoying his own food.
“Ooh.” You giggled, putting both hands on your stomach. “Taco Bell already bothering you?” Chris laughed. “No,” you playfully roll your eyes. “Lots of flutters, the soda must have them bouncing off the walls.” You laughed more, taking Chris’ hands and putting them where you felt the flutters. “Now close your eyes and imagine tons of little butterflies in your stomach.” You closed your eyes, pressing his hands into your stomach. Even through your shirt you could feel the warmth radiate from his hands, the babies moving more like they knew it was their daddy’s hands. “I can’t wait until I can feel them move for real.” He gave your stomach two soft kisses and then a soft kiss to your lips. You gave him a small smile, caressing his cheek. “Soon baby.” Chris leaned into your touch and kissed your palm.
“Mama!” Ollie’s voice rang through the house. “Mamaaa!”
“In here bubba!” You called from the kitchen, where you were making him an after school snack. In seconds he was in the kitchen, Dodger chasing behind him thinking it was play time, Chris entering shortly behind them trying to calm Dodger.
“Hi handsome! How was school?” You asked, putting his snack at a spot on the island. “I couldn’t concentrate today, I was too excited.” You giggled and helped him take his bag off. “Oh? And what were you too excited for?” You asked, even though you knew the answer. Ollie looked at you in disbelief, big eyes full of confusion. “To know what the babies are!” You helped him up to his spot to eat his snack. “Oh right! That was today!” You played dumb. Ollie looked at you, waiting for you to tell him. Chris was giggling off to the side. “Do you have a guess?” Chris asked, plucking an apple slice from Ollie’s plate. He earned a small frown about the apple, but quickly let it go to think about what his guess was. “Hhhm.” He hummed, taking a bite of apple with some cheese. Chris came over to you wrapping his arms around you, watching the little boy come up with his guess. “I hope boys.” Ollie said. “Because Stella is bossy sometimes and I don’t want a sister to boss me around.” You and Chris cracked up, making Ollie giggle. “I don’t think you’re gonna have that problem, bub.” Chris started. “They’re both boys!” You and Chris exclaimed together.
“Really?!” Ollie shouted. “Wooohooo!” He fist pumped the air. He slipped down from the chair and ran over to you, little hands and lips on your stomach. “Hi little brothers, I’m your big- oh!” He pulled away and looked up at you slightly concerned. “Everything okay?” You gave him a confused look. “There was like a tap on my lips.” His fingers touched his lips. Your eyes went wide and you looked at Chris who was just as shocked. Ollie seemed to grow more concerned with how shocked you guys were. “I’m sorry baby, we didn’t mean to scare you.” You got down to his level, caressing his cheek. “The babies were kicking while you were talking to them and you were able to feel it.” You explained. “That’s all that was, they’re okay, they were just excited to hear your voice.” You smiled. “I felt them kick?” You nodded. “Wow.” He whispered with a smile. “What did it feel like bub?” Chris asked, sinking to the floor with you guys, his hands going to your stomach. You felt a little bad that he didn’t get to feel them first. “Just like a tap.” Ollie said, lightly tapping Chris’ arm. “Just like that.”
“It was that soft?” Chris asked, moving his hands around, pressing them into your stomach a little. “Yeah, really light.” Ollie nodded, watching Chris. Your hands moved to stop Chris’ hands from searching your stomach. “Ollie, baby go start your homework, please.” You told the little boy who was intently watching his father. “Okay, but it’s math, I’m gonna need your help.” He got up and went into the living room. “I’ll be there in a minute!” You called after him. You waited till he was out of ear shot before talking to Chris. “Chris.” You said just above a whisper. “I’m sorry baby, they’re not moving right now.” He let out a defeated sigh, but kept his hands on your stomach. You pulled him into you, your hands running through his hair. “They already like their brother more than me.” He let out a dry chuckle, trying to make light of the moment. “I mean he is really sweet and caring and kind and really funny an-“ Chris cut you off. “Okay, okay I get it.” He looked up at you with a playful glare. You giggled and overly puckered your lips, asking for a kiss. Chris laughed and gave you a small peck. “Come on, you can do better.” You pucker your lips even more. “No.” He laughed, shaking his head. “Not when you look like that.” You feigned hurt, laughing and returned your lips to a normal pucker for a kiss. He playfully rolled his eyes and kissed you soft and slow. “Mamaaaa! I need help with problem two!” Ollie called from the living room. You and Chris pulled apart laughing. “Here, let me help you up.” Chris got up with ease and offered his hand, you took it with a thankful smile.
_____________
The rest of the night was filled with homework, dinner, and sharing the news of the babies being boys with the rest of your family. They were all excited, Stella a little bummed that they weren’t going to be girls.
“Alright big guy, bathtime!” Chris said once you guys hung up with the last bit of family. “But I’m not ready to get ready for bed.” Ollie pouted. “School night bub, we already let you stay up past your bedtime.” Ollie frowned. “But I’m not tired.” He would have been convincing if he hadn’t been yawning all through the FaceTime calls or if he didn’t have such deep bags under his eyes. “How about you take a bath and when you get out we can read a little bit of our book.” You reasoned, it gave him more time to stay up, not that he’d be up long after his bath. “Okay.” He agreed easier than you thought he would and got up to make his way to the bath. Chris chuckled, giving you a quick kiss before following Ollie up the steps. You took a few seconds to enjoy the quiet before you made your way up to Ollie’s room. You laid out his pajamas then got comfy in Ollie’s bed with the chapter book you were reading with him. You laid there, his bed unbelievably comfortable for a race car bed. You let your eyes close listening to the soft murmurs of the boys’ voices traveling from the bathroom lulling you to sleep. The excitement of the day or the overall exhaustion of growing two humans getting to you.
“Ssh, mama’s sleeping.” Ollie tried his best to be quiet and whisper, in the not so quiet tone most children seem to whisper in. You were awake and alert as soon as you heard his voice, but opening your eyes felt like too much work. “Here take your clothes and get dressed in the bathroom and brush your teeth.” Chris whispered, handing Ollie the pajamas you had set out. Chris made his way to you accidentally kicking a toy making a lot of noise.
“Baby.” Chris whispered and peppered kisses all over your face, brushing your hair out of your face. You hummed in response, but didn’t open your eyes. “Why don’t we move you to our bed?” His thumb caressed your cheek. You shook your head forcing your eyes open. “I told Ollie we could read.” You protested as Chris helped you sit up. “I can read to him, let’s get you to bed sleepy head.” He guided you toward the door. “I’m ready to read!” Ollie came back to his room. “Change of plans bub, mama is super tired so I’m gonna help her into bed, you get comfy in your bed and I’ll be back to read to you.”
“Good night.” Ollie hugged you. “Sleep tight handsome.” You hugged him back and kissed his head. Chris walked you to your shared room, sitting you in the bed while he picked out a shirt for you to wear to bed. You let out a big yawn as you started to shed your clothes. “Here ya go.” Chris helped you slip on the shirt and step out of your pants. You gave him a sleepy smile, hands instinctively going to his hair as he kissed your belly. He kissed his way up to your lips giving you a few sweet kisses before helping you slide under the covers. “I’ll be back as soon as we’re done reading.” He kissed you again. “Thank you.” You whispered snuggling into the pillows. Chris smiled and made his way back to Ollie, who was already asleep. He tucked him in and kissed his head goodnight, gave Dodger a few pets, who was snuggled up behind his boy, and switched the bedside lamp for his night light before making his way back to you.
You were almost back to sleep when the fluttering started like crazy, it was a little stranger than it usually was. You rolled onto your back, pulling your shirt up exposing your bump to the cool night air goosebumps popping up all over it. That’s when you saw it, it looked like a muscle spasm, a little twitch. Ever so slightly you thought you had imagined it. Then it happened again on the other side then again a few seconds later. It was the babies moving. “C-C-Chris!” You sputtered out, he was in your room in like half a second. It shocked you, and it must have been written on your face because it made Chris laugh. “Sorry I was right outside the door, he was already asleep when I got back to his room.” He made his way to you. “Look look look.” You waved him over, you didn’t want him to miss this. “What am-“ he stopped mid sentence, he had seen what you had seen. “They’re moving?” He whispered. “I can see them.” He dropped to his knees, hands hovering over your stomach. He was afraid they would stop once he touched you. “Go ahead.” You encouraged him. “They’re very awake and moving like crazy.” His hands came to settle on your stomach where you guys had seen the movement. He gasped and pulled his hands away then put them back right away. “It’s just like Ollie said. So light.” He sniffled, moving to kiss your stomach. You could feel his tears drip onto your stomach and your emotions got the best of you and you started to cry. Chris sat back on his heels, wiping his eyes with the back of his hands. “I’m sorry.” He chuckled at himself. You sat up, pulling him into you. His arms went around your waist, his head coming to rest on your chest. “Nothing to be sorry for.” You guys stayed like that for a bit. One hand in his hair, the other running up and down his back.
“I love you.” He looked up at you. You smiled, “I love you.” He leaned up and kissed you.
Once Chris was changed into pajamas you were cuddled up in bed, fully awake now, discussing names.
“Chris Jr?” You joked causing Chris to laugh, his chest bouncing your head a little. “No way. What about David?” He asked. “Mmh, it’s nice, but I’m not super sold, keep brainstorming.” Silence settled over the two of you as you traced shapes into his chest and his fingers traced up and down your arm.
“Marry me?” Chris broke the silence, his words just above a whisper. You sat up and looked at him completely caught off guard. You opened your mouth to talk, but nothing came out. He reached into his night stand and pulled out a ring box. “I was gonna ask at Christmas, but I just couldn’t wait anymore.” He handed you the box. With shaking hands you opened it to find the most beautiful ring you had ever laid your eyes on. It was big, but not giant. Eye catching, but also subtle. Not too flashy, but showed Chris had taken time in picking the ring out. Chris cleared his throat, taking your attention from the ring.
You were at a loss for words. Mouth just hanging open, nothing coming out.

So I’ve been sick and I watched both seasons of Euphoria and the special in a matter of like four days. A wild ride to say the least. I absolutely love Fezco. That’s all.

Love and Other Dogs: Part 12
Pairing: singledad!chrisevans x femalereader
Warnings: implied sex.
Authors Note: soooo this took forever and I feel like it doesn’t flow nicely so I don’t know. But still please enjoy.
“Hi my sweet girl!” Your mom exclaimed, wrapping you in her loving embrace. You talk to her everyday, but you haven’t seen each other in months. Granted you’ve been a little busy. “You sure did pick a good one with Chris.” She whispered to you, making you smile from ear to ear. “And hi my little grandbabies.” She talked to your round belly, hands smoothing the fabric of your clothes. “I’ve been dying to get my hands on your belly.” She earned a laugh from everyone in the room. You said hi to everyone else with a quick hug and a kiss ending back by Chris and Ollie. Ollie was watching carefully. Suddenly becoming shy with the new additions to your group. Shanna and Scott both brought their partners for dinner. You rubbed Ollie’s back, smiling at him as he reached for you. You gladly took him from Chris, hugging him close to you.
“Wanna say hi?” You whispered kissing the side of his head. He nodded, his face buried in your shoulder. You chuckled at how shy he had become.
“Mom.” You said, grabbing her attention. “This is Oliver.” He sat up a little and looked at your mom. “Hi.” Your mom smiled big, waving to Ollie. He waved back with a small shy smile before hiding his face in your shoulder again, hugging you tight.
“Ollie!” Carly’s three kids bounced into the room. “Hi aunt Y/N! Can Ollie play?” They all gave you big smiles. “You wanna go play bubba?” He nodded, Chris helping him down from your arms. The four kids ran away, plans of what they were gonna play filling the room.
“Soon two more will be added to the mix.” Chris said to the group of adults, his hand coming to rest on your stomach. You felt the tickle from earlier right under Chris’ hand, it caught you by surprise, making you grab Chris’ arm, earning his attention. He gave you a questioning look, but you smiled and shook your head, sliding your hand down his arm to rest on top of his. He smiled back, but wasn’t completely convinced that you grabbed his arm for no reason.
“Okay!” Scott came from the kitchen. “Turkey is done!” He placed the giant bird on the table. Dinner was nice, full of good conversation and lots of laughs.
_____________
“Who’s ready for dessert?!” Ollie shouted, excited to show off his hard work. “Ooh these look delicious!” Carly’s eyes got big, making you laugh. “Where did you get these?” Lisa asked, picking out a cupcake. “We made them!” Ollie smiled proudly. Lisa’s eyes went wide, “I didn’t mean for you to make something!”
“It’s okay! Ollie and I had a lot of fun!” You reassured her. “Yeah! Mama teached me how to bake like her mama did.” Ollie smiled at your mom.
“This is so good.” Chris was halfway done with his slice of pie. “How did you even taste it? You inhaled it!” Scott teased his brother.
“Grandma’s recipe?” Your mom asked after a bite of the pie. You nodded with a smile. “You know my mama taught me to bake, like I taught yours, and she’s teaching you.” Your mom gave Ollie a warm smile. “I baked so much that all my friends called me Cookie.” She laughed. Ollie gasped and looked at you, with big eyes. “That’s it!” He cheered. Everyone else gave him a confused look. You laughed. “On the way here we were trying to figure out what Ollie would call you.” You explained looking at your mom. “Nothing seemed to fit just right, until now.”
“Cookie!” Ollie smiled wide. “It’s perfect.” He sighed and dug into his cupcake.
“Can I get another slice of that pie?” Chris asked with a big grin making everyone laugh.
__________
“Mom, mom, mom we have plenty of leftovers!” You could hear Chris in the kitchen trying to reason with his mom as she tried to send another container of leftovers home with you guys.
“It was so nice to see you sweetie.” Your mom pulled you into a tight hug. Careful to not crush Ollie who was asleep in your arms, head nuzzled into your neck. “We’ll have to get together when I get back from Italy.” She ran her hand down Ollie’s back and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek. “It was so nice to meet you.” She whispered to him. “Bye Cookie.” He said in a sleep filled whisper snuggling closer to you. You smiled and held him tighter. Soon your stomach would be too big to hold him like this comfortably.
“Flo, it was so nice meeting you.” Lisa came from the kitchen pulling your mom into a hug. Chris followed, two more containers of food in his hands, a sheepish smile on his face. The two mom’s chatted about their plans for coffee and a yoga class they were gonna try together. After a few more minutes of saying goodbye to everyone you guys were all packed up and in the car heading home. Ollie fast asleep in his seat, Dodger’s head in Ollie’s lap also fast asleep.
“You were glowing tonight, mama.” Chris smiled at you, his hand coming to rest on your thigh. “Thank you.” You smiled back, your hand resting on his. The car ride was silent, just enjoying each other’s company.
“Come on bub, let's get you in bed.” Chris said getting Ollie from his seat. “But I’m not tired.” Ollie stretched and cuddled Chris more, letting his eyes fall shut. Chris laughed, closing the door after Dodger got out. Dodger stretched, then sniffed around the yard looking for the perfect spot for one last bathroom break before bed. You collected the containers of leftovers and waited for the dog to finish his business. “You go. We’ll be in, in a second.” You nodded towards the front door. Chis nodded and headed in to get Ollie ready for bed. Dodger did his business and you made your way inside. After putting the leftovers in the fridge you made your way upstairs to find Chris snuggled up to Ollie in his bed. You giggled softly, just watching from the door. Chris was whispering to Ollie, peppering kisses all over his face, soaking up all the snuggles he missed.
“Hi mama.” Chris smiled once he noticed you watching. “Hi.” You whispered. You made your way over, kneeling on Ollie’s side, giving him a few kisses. “Sleep tight sweet boy.” You whispered, caressing his face. You and Chris sat content for a bit before making your way to your shared room. Chris helped you undress, trailing kisses from your neck to your shoulder. His hands ran over your exposed skin, goosebumps chasing his fingers. You turned around to face him, resting your forehead on his. “I missed you so much.” You whispered. He gave you a sweet peck, “I missed you more.” You helped Chris undress, his clothes joining yours on the floor. He kissed you deeply, backing you towards the bed. He was gentle and slow, but you had missed him too much to wait anymore. You spun your bodies around, the back of Chris’ legs hitting the bed. Taking charge, you kissed him hungrily and pushed him onto the bed. He let out a deep chuckle, “ooh this is gonna be fun.” You straddled him, his hands moving to your hips, thumbs massaging circles into your hips. You smirked at him leaning down to kiss him again.
You and Chris laid tangled in each other, Chris’ hand rubbing over your bump. You gasped, Chris looking at you with concern. “Here.” You took his hand, placing it where you had just felt another flutter. “You’re not gonna be able to feel it, but I just felt a flutter here.” Chris’ face broke into a smile. “They’re moving?” You bit your lip and nodded. Chris adjusted himself so his lips were now on your bump whispering to the babies, hands rubbing your bump softly, placing kisses all over it. You played with Chris’ hair, fighting to keep your eyes open, but the soft sound of his whispers were lulling you to sleep.

Love and Other Dogs: Part 11
Pairing: singledad!chrisevans x femalereader
Warnings: divorce talk.
“This one needs more sprinkles.” Ollie was serious as he sprinkled the brown and yellow sprinkles onto the cupcake he was working on. “Perfect.” He whispered looking at his work. The kitchen was covered in icing, sprinkles, and blobs of cake batter. Ollie was coated in flour as well as the floor from when you accidentally knocked the whole bowl onto the floor. Dodger had been following you around, keeping a watchful eye until that happened. Now he lay in the doorway, close if he needed to protect you, but far away in case anything else fell from the sky.
“Those look great!” You ruffled his hair. “You are a master baker!”
“Think grandma will like them?” He added a few more sprinkles to another cupcake.
“Like them? Bubba she’s gonna love them!” You kissed his shoulder just watching him. You had been on the phone earlier that day with Lisa to see if she wanted you to bring anything to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and she said dessert. You knew she meant picking up a pumpkin or pecan pie from the store and that would have been perfect, but you love to bake and thought homemade pie would be nice with the addition of some cupcakes, personally put together by Ollie.
“Where did you learn to bake?” He carefully leaned into you, running his little hand over your stomach.
“My mom taught me.” You smiled at the memory similar to the one you were making with Ollie.
“Like you’re teaching me?!” His big eyes looked up at you.
“Exactly like I’m teaching you!” Ollie had been playing with Dodger in the fort the two of you had made earlier in the week, when you measured all of the ingredients and set everything up for him, so he could make the cupcakes all by himself!
“I get to meet her tomorrow?” Ollie asked.
“Yes and she is very excited to meet you!” You gave him a big smile, making him smile. Your mom was more than excited to meet the two boys who had stolen your heart. FaceTime calls weren’t cutting it anymore. “Can I eat one?” He pointed to the cupcakes and looked up at you very serious about the question.
“How about we have dinner first?” You bargained with the little boy. “Can we have grilled cheese?” He raised his eyebrows looking like Chris’ twin. “Of course we can!” You got busy making grilled cheese and then ultimately cleaning up the kitchen.
Lisa had invited your mom to Thanksgiving even before she had started making plans for the big meal. Excited to meet the mother of the girl her son was in love with, but unknowing to Lisa she gave your newly single mother plans for her first holiday without her husband. Coincidentally, the day that you and Chris told her you were together, and you were pregnant by him with not only one baby but two, was also the day she told you that her and your dad were getting a divorce. Not that you weren’t surprised or upset, but you knew something was going on and you knew they hadn’t really been together for a while. They’ve been spending their lives very separate and finally decided that it was time to actually separate and divorce. However, you weren’t expecting her to follow your exciting news with that kind of news.
“Bub it’s your mom FaceTiming!” Chris called from the bedroom. You were in the bathroom getting ready for Sunday dinner and to tell everyone your big news when your phone started ringing. “Oh wait!” You hurried putting your curling iron down. You ran into the room searching for the ultrasound pictures. They were not on the nightstand where you had put them.
“I can’t-“ you turned to see Chris, pictures in hand with a big smile waiting to answer the phone. “Oh.” You chuckled. Chris sat on the edge of the bed, you leaned on his back, chin resting on his shoulder, holding up the pictures. He answered the FaceTime call.
“Surprise!” You both shouted. She was confused for a second squinting at the screen.
“Oh my gosh! Oh my GOSH!” She screamed. “A baby?! Twins??” She was looking at the screen again. “And yes. Chris and I are together.” You answered the unspoken question. “Oh my gosh, my baby is having babies.” She was wiping tears away. “Sorry, I’m just so excited. About all of this.” She motions at you and Chris. You guys talked a little more about the babies and you and Chris and how Ollie was taking it all when she grew serious. “I am over the moon about all of this, but unfortunately I did have a reason for calling and it isn’t as exciting as your news.” Your mom said with a sad chuckle. Your stomach dropped automatically assuming the worst. Chris grabbed your hand squeezing it. “Your dad and I are getting a divorce.” She paused, letting it sink in. “We- we’ve grown apart. We’re in different places in life. I’m ready to live! You’re grown now. I wanted to travel and take cooking classes and all that silly stuff when you don’t have kids at home, that’s why we never had any more kids. We had plans for when you were all grown up and on your own. Your dad doesn’t want to do that anymore. He wants to play golf every Tuesday and poker on Fridays with the guys. He wants a home cooked meal everyday, never wants to go out or try something new.” You were quiet, relieved that they were both okay. “We tried hunny. For years now.” She let out a deep sigh.
“Are you okay?” You asked softly. She nodded. “We’re both okay. Still friends.” She laughed. “But I want to go to Italy and learn to make pasta and I have a scuba diving class booked!” You and Chris laughed. Talking about her plans made her come to life. She was happy and that made you happy. “And dad?” You asked. “He’s the one who said we should do this. He loves me and I him, but he said he was holding me back. I gave him what he wanted and now he’s keeping me from what I’ve always wanted. Plus he has a golf trip planned for the third week of November. So he’s excited about that.” You knew your mom always had big dreams, but your dad wanted to get married and have kids. She was a free spirit, your dad always talked about how lucky he was to even get her to settle down with him.
“When daddy comes home can we make these cupcakes for him?” Ollie asked, frosting all over his face. You laughed while eating your own cupcake. They were perfect. “We can make anything you want.” He hummed, actually taking a bite of the cupcake and not just the frosting. “These are so gooood.” Cake crumbs sticking to the frosting on his face. You giggled just watching him enjoy his hard work.
“Okay, my little chef let's take a bath and get ready for bed.” You wiped his face with a damp napkin. “Aaww.” He pouted. “Aww.” You mimicked him, making him hide his smile. “Can I play in the tub?” He looked at you through his long lashes. “With bubbles?” You asked back. “Yes please!” He jumped off the chair and headed upstairs to pick out some toys. You smiled watching him climb the steps, Dodger following him closely.
“Look, I'm Santa!” Ollie laughed with a bubble beard. “Now I’m daddy!” He had wiped some bubbles away, making his beard shorter. “Gimme a kiss.” He made a kissy face, dropping his voice to sound like Chris. You laughed, giving him your cheek to kiss. Your phone rang, making you glance at your watch, it read 8:30pm, it was probably Chris for his nightly bedtime call. The call normally happened in bed with a bedtime story, but you guys were running a little behind tonight.
“Hi!” You greeted still giggling at Ollie. “Hi baby.” He smiled a little confused why you were laughing. You flipped the camera to show Ollie pretending to be his dad making Chris burst out laughing. “And my other babies?” He asked, you showed him your round belly. “Nice and still.” You reassured him, rubbing your hand over your stomach. “Good. They already listen so well!” He joked. Chris stayed on the phone while you helped Ollie finish up in the bath and you got him dressed in his pj’s.
“Ready for tonight’s story?” Chris asked. You and Ollie were snuggled in his bed with Dodger at your feet, ready for the story. “Ready!” You both cheered. Ollie snuggled closer as Chris started the story that he was making up on the fly, his head on your shoulder and his little hand rubbing your belly.
“And they lived happily ever after.” Chris finished. “He’s asleep.” You nodded, pulling him closer to soak up as much snuggles as possible. “I wish I was there.” He whispered. “Me too.” You give him a sad smile. “You’ll be home soon.” He nodded. You guys talked for a little longer before he was pulled away for some dinner with some director. Putting your phone on the bedside table you laid your cheek on Ollie’s still damp hair letting your eyes close. You were too comfortable to get up and head to your own bed.
“Mama.” His voice was just above a whisper. Your eyes shot open.
“I can’t sleep.” He giggled. “You were just asleep.” You sat up. Ollie shook his head with a cheeky grin. “I was pretending.” You couldn’t help but laugh, making Ollie giggle. “Can we watch Spider Man?” He asked with his best puppy dog eyes. You were gonna say no, tell him it was late, he needed his rest, but those eyes made your heart melt. “I’ll make the popcorn.” You caved getting up. “And hot chocolate?!” He asked, jumping up and down on his bed. “And hot chocolate!” You agreed. “Woohoo!” He jumped from the bed running for the stairs, taking his blanket with him that fanned out like a cape as he ran. Dodger took his time staying back with you as you made your way down the stairs more cautiously than the rambunctious child had. Popcorn popped and hot chocolate topped perfectly with whipped cream, you guys were ready for the movie. Not even fifteen minutes into the movie and Ollie was sound asleep, his hand in the popcorn bowl and hot chocolate untouched, the whipped cream melted and falling down the sides of the mug. A mess you decided you’d clean up in the morning. Not tired my butt. You thought, putting the popcorn bowl on the coffee table and adjusted the sleep boy so you could both lay on the couch. Too tired to move him to his bed, the couch would do just fine for tonight.

“Oliver James pleeeeaaaseee put your pants on.” You tossed the dark wash jeans onto the couch, you had been begging the little boy for the last hour to do one thing or another to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner. You were expected to be at Lisa’s by 3:00pm and it was already 2:50pm and you weren’t even dressed, hair barely done, and at this point you laughed at the thought of makeup. Chris hadn’t called yet today and he normally called by lunch to check in. You really wanted to be at Lisa’s when your mom arrived, but there was no way that was happening. Ollie ignored your plea and continued to play with Dodger. “Oliver!” You called for him to look at you. “I’m going upstairs to finish getting ready. Have your pants on and the floor picked up by the time I am back down here.” You were kind, but stern. He nodded, “of course mama.” Then went back to playing with Dodger. You sighed and headed up the stairs. He was lucky he was cute. You were just about to the top of the stairs when you felt what you would describe as a tickle stopped you in your tracks, your hands flew to your stomach. “No no no, not yet.” You begged, rubbing over your bump. All the baby books you’ve read said this is the time you would start to feel flutters. Just barely noticeable to you and not strong enough to be noticeable to anyone else yet. You stood at the top of the stairs for a minute waiting to see if there were any more. “Please wait till daddy is home.” You begged just above a whisper. You wiped away the tear that slid down your cheek. This was exciting, but you felt bad that Chris wasn’t here to witness it. You pulled yourself together in 15 minutes flat. Your hair being a team player today, gave you no problems when styling it, you skipped the makeup and got dressed in the outfit you had been planning all week. Comfortable, but cute. Not too tight on your growing belly, but snug enough to show off your bump. Making your way back downstairs to the living room you noticed the floor had been picked up and Ollie was sitting on the couch, pants on, and Dodger by his side watching TV.
“Mama you look so pretty!” He gave you a big smile. “Thank you! You look very handsome.” Ollie spiked his hair this morning with your help so that it wasn’t as crazy as his first day of school.
“Ready?” You asked, slipping on your shoes. “Ready!” He bounced over to the door excited to see everyone. You helped him into his jacket glancing at your watch, just about 3:30pm it would be about 4:00 when you guys got there. You texted Lisa sorry and that you were on your way, while Ollie hooked Dodger to his leash and grabbed the cupcake box to carry to the car. You smiled at him taking in his appearance for a moment, you were certain he had grown taller, and he was starting to look older, more like Chris everyday. He wasn’t the little baby-faced boy you had met in the park, only a few months ago.
“Let’s do my handsome little man.” You opened the door letting him lead the way to the car. Grabbing the pumpkin pie and locking the front door you followed behind the boy and his dog. Opening the car door Dodger hopped in and you took the cupcakes so Ollie could get into his seat.
“When do I get to sit without my seat?” He pouted. Setting the pie and cupcakes in the front seat you helped him buckle. “I think you still have a few more years.” His pout deepened. “I wanna sit up front with you now.” There were those puppy dog eyes. “I’m sorry, bub but you can’t. It’s not safe.” You double checked the buckle. He crossed his arms in a huff. You chuckled lightly and kissed his cheek again and again till he smiled. “There’s that smile I love so much!” You kissed his cheek again. He playful rolled his eyes making you laugh loudly.
“Let’s get to grandma’s and have some turkey!” You cheered. “And cupcakes!” Ollie cheered back.
The car ride wasn’t too long, but long enough for Ollie to ask you about five and a half million questions. Some you didn’t have an answer too, so you defaulted to telling him to ask his dad when he got home.
“What do I call your mom?” He was looking out the window, watching the houses pass by as you got closer to Lisa’s house. You thought for a moment, not sure. You and Chris never really got a chance to talk about it.
“Um, well my mom’s name is Florence, but she likes to be called Flo, so you could call her Ms. Flo?” You said, not the biggest fan of that choice. Neither was Ollie judging by the face he made at you in the rear view mirror. “Hhhm, grandma Flo?” You weren’t completely sold on that either. It didn’t quite fit your free spirited mother. “How about we just see how the night goes and pick something later?” He nodded in agreement as you pulled up to the curb at Lisa’s, parking behind your mom’s car. Ollie was unbuckled and ready to go when you got to his side of the car.
“Someone’s excited.” You chuckle, taking his hand to help him out of the car. He giggled, picking up Dodger’s leash so he knew he could exit the car. Both boys safely on the sidewalk, you turned your attention to the front seat where the pie and cupcakes were
“Here let me help.” A deep familiar voice said from behind you. You spun around so quickly you nearly knocked the sweets off the seat.
“Chris?! What are you doing here?!” You were shocked. He was supposed to be on the other side of the country.
“Surprise!” Chris laughed, Ollie already in his arms hugging him tight. He held out his free arm for you to join the hug. You flung yourself into his embrace, taking in his scent and welcoming the warmth that radiated from him.
“Hi, mama.” He whispered into your hair, placing a kiss on your head.
“How are you here?” You were still surprised that he was standing in front of you. “Everything kind of fell into place, sorta, they’ll call me if they need me to audition again or if I’ve been casted. So I was able to come home early!” You hugged him tighter not wanting to let go. This meant he would be leaving again, but you didn’t care right this moment. “We’ve missed you so much.” You mumble into his chest, placing three small kisses onto it. His hand rubbed up and down your back pulling you closer.
“Come on you three! Get in here before you freeze!” Scott called from the front door where everyone had been watching. “How long have you been here?” You asked, giving him a quizzical look, hands on your hips. “About an hour. I was supposed to get here after you and surprise you inside.” He laughed with a shake of his head. “I’ll take one of those.” He took the cupcake box with his free hand that had Dodger’s leash looped on his wrist. Ollie in the other, not ready to let go of his dad. You sighed content watching your boys make their way to the house. The day had started off a little crazy, but you felt like it was finally starting to settle and be the perfect first holiday with the Evans boys.

Love and Other Dogs: Part 10
Pairing: singledad!chrisevans x femalereader
Warnings: a little angst or some jealousy
You sat on the bed, folding laundry with a frown and watching Chris pack his bag, his manager had landed him a couple of auditions and was expected to be in California this time tomorrow for his first audition. To say it was a last minute trip was an understatement. Chris had gotten the call from his manager just as he walked back in the door from dropping Ollie off at school. You were happy that he was getting a chance to audition for new roles and new characters, but it’s the week of Thanksgiving, Chris wouldn’t even get to say goodbye to Ollie, and he wasn’t sure if he’d be home for Christmas. Chris was running around the room like a chicken with its head cut off. He was stressed, the car to take him to the airport would be there in an hour and he was upset about it being so last minute and not being able to say goodbye to Ollie. He was frustrated that he was leaving you in the middle of your pregnancy and that he’d be missing your first Thanksgiving together and maybe even your first Christmas together.
“I’m gonna miss everything again.” He looked up at you. Your frown turned into a pout. “We don’t know that, you could only be gone for a week.” You gave him a small smile. He sighed sitting on the edge of the bed, his back facing you. You crawled to the end of the bed, wrapping your arms around him, resting your head on his back. His hand found its way to yours that were resting on his chest. “You’ll be feeling the babies move soon and I might not be here.” You trailed kisses over his back, up the back of his neck, a few to his cheek, and coming to rest your chin on his shoulder. “We have at least two more weeks before they start to really get moving.” You tried to reassure him. He huffed and turned to look at you. You gave him a small smile. “Come here.” He whispered and he helped you climb into his lap, hands going right to your bump. It was nice and round now. No denying it was there.
“Listen up you two.” He tried to sound stern, but there was a smile on his face. You played with the hair at the nape of his neck, just listening. He talked to the twins all the time, it was your favorite thing. “Daddy’s gotta go to work for a bit, so please be nice to your mama and don’t you dare move a muscle till I’m home.” He pushed up your shirt running his hands all over your round belly, goosebumps following his hands. “Please don’t move till I’m home.” He begged them just above a whisper. Chris leaned down and placed two kisses on your stomach.
“Hey.” You stroked his cheek with your thumb, bringing his attention to you. “Home before you know it.” He nodded and kissed you, pulling you closer to him. Breaking the kiss he wrapped you in a hug pulling you even closer to him. You buried your head into the crook of his neck taking in his scent. You guys sat like this just enjoying each other until Chris’ phone dinged causing him to groan, really hoping it wasn’t the driver letting him know he was here. Not letting you off his lap he leaned back to grab his phone. Sitting back up, he gave you a quick peck before turning his attention to his phone.
“Crap.” He said his face falling as he looked at you. Brows furrowed, you gave him a questioning look. “It’s a reminder, Ollie has parent teacher conferences today at 3:40.” Chris closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose trying to figure out what to do.
“I can go.” You said with a shrug of your shoulders, even though it made you beyond nervous.
“Really? Are you sure?” His eyes shot open. You bit your lip and nodded. “You don’t have to. I'm sure I can reschedu-'' you cut him off. “Chris I’m sure.” You tan your hands over his broad shoulders, smoothing his shirt. “Daddy’s gotta work so mama will step in!” You gave him a wide smile of reassurance. He smiled and kissed you. His phone beeped again. You both knew this time it was the driver. Chris sighed, forehead resting against yours.
“I love you.” You whisper, rubbing your nose against his, giving his lips a quick peck.
“I love you more.” He cupped your face kissing you.
“I love you most more.” You giggled.
“I love you to infinity and beyond, ha!” He laughed “beat that!” You laughed, kissing him once more before getting off his lap. He grabbed your hand, keeping you from leaving him. Pushing your shirt up and he placed two soft kisses on either side of your stomach.
“Remember what I said.” He whispered, thumbs caressing your stomach. You sighed content, hands running through his hair as he whispered a few more things you couldn’t quite hear.
“Bubba you gotta go.” You said not really wanting him to actually go.
“I know.” He sighed standing up, collecting his bag. “Tell Ollie I’m so sorry and that I love him and that I’ll FaceTime as soon as I land.” You and Dodger followed him down the stairs to the front door.
“Love you.” He said with a quick kiss. “Love you back.”
“Okay bub,” He kneeled to pet Dodger. “You’re in charge of keeping them safe while I’m away okay?” He chuckled to himself, giving the fluffy bodyguard some love. With a sigh and a few more quick kisses Chris was out the door and on his way to the airport.
________________________
You took a deep breath, exhaling slowly staring at the elementary school in front of you. You were sitting in the car watching all the kids and their parents. Your excitement growing for the future more and more. A few more deep breaths and you exited the car and made your way to Ollie’s classroom. You navigated the halls passing excited children showing their parents everything they’ve learned in the first part of the school year. You made it to Ollie’s room, taking a big breath and you headed in.
“Mama?!” Ollie ran to you hugging your waist.
“Hi bubba!” You smiled, hugging him back.
“Hi little babies.” Little hands cradled your stomach, his lips pressed against it talking to his siblings. You couldn’t help the big smile that spread across your face.
“Mrs. Evans?” Your attention was directed to the teacher who wore a very confused look on her face as she eyed your round stomach.
“Hi. Ms. Stevens?” You smiled, not bothering to correct her. She nodded with a tight smile.
“I didn’t know Chris was married.” She used his first name. You squint, you knew Chris only ever referred to her as Ms. Stevens, so you weren’t sure why she sounded so comfortable calling him Chris. She was younger than you by a few years and very pretty. You stood a little straighter, feeling protective of your small family.
“We like to keep things private.” You said emphasizing the we.
“Come look at my desk! We cleaned them today so they’re nice and neat for break time.” Ollie took your hand leading you to his desk. He showed you all his folders neatly stacked, pencils in a row, a few army men that you didn’t know he brought to school.
“Ooooh this looks really good, you did a great job baby.” You kissed his cheek, tickling his sides.
“Ahem.” Ms. Stevens cleared her throat, getting your attention. “Sorry, if we could get started, I just have a lot of conferences to get done today.”
“Take my seat mama!” Ollie pulled his chair out for you. You carefully lowered yourself into the short chair, Ollie hopping in your lap as soon as you were settled.
“Thank you.” You smiled “such a gentleman.” He smiled, kissing your cheek.
“Okay, let's get started!” Ms. Stevens said. “Ollie is doing very well, he’s reading at a 1st grade level, which is wonderful since he is one of my younger students, he’s really a joy to have in class, always happy, and kind, and caring.” You smiled, proud of the small boy in your lap. “Everything is right on track for this point of the school year.”
“That’s wonderful!” You beamed. She nodded and glanced at her watch. “Unfortunately, we’ve run over our time and my next meeting will be here any second.” You glanced at your watch, 3:50, your meeting had barely been 10 minutes.
“Well it was great meeting you.” You gave a quick smile and took Ollie’s hand. “Have a happy Thanksgiving.” You didn’t even glance over your shoulder to look at her or wait for a reply.
“How come daddy wasn’t here?” Ollie looked up at you as you guys made your way back to the car. You let out a deep sigh, opening the car door for him to climb in.
“Daddy got a call from work and he needed to go to California. It was very last minute, but-“, your phone rang interrupting you. Pulling out your phone a smile spread across your face.
“Here he is now!” You handed the phone to Ollie for him to answer the FaceTime as you finished buckling him in.
“Hi daddy!” Ollie exclaimed.
“Hi bubba, I’m so sorry I missed your conference.” You could hear the frown in his voice. “That’s okay! Mama was there!” He turned the camera to you.
“Hi baby.” He smiled. “How’d it go?”
“Great! Oliver James is reading at a 1st grade level and is a joy to have in class! Oh, and Amanda says hi.” You chuckled at the confused look on Chris’ face. “I don’t know any Amanda’s.” You hummed and nodded, double checking Ollie’s buckles.
“Y/N I don’t know any Amanda’s.” He said in a firm voice.
“Ollie’s teacher.” You raised an eyebrow taking the phone from Ollie. “She didn’t know Chris was married.”
“Mrs. Stevens?” He asked.
“Ms.” You corrected him. “I think she likes you.” You smirked.
“Tell her sorry I’m married.” He joked, making you laugh. You gave the phone back to Ollie and got in the driver's seat to head back home. Chris FaceTimed the whole way home. Explaining to Ollie that he will be home as soon as he could and that he was really sorry that he was going to miss Thanksgiving.
“I have a very important job for you bub.” You heard Chris grow serious as you pulled into the driveway. “You’re the man of the house while I’m gone. So you gotta protect your mama and the babies, okay?”
“I’ll protect them, daddy. Don’t worry.” He was just as serious as Chris. You chuckled making your way to get Ollie out of the car.
“Good. I gotta go bubba.” Chris sighed. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too!” Ollie gave the phone a kiss, making Chris laugh.
“Can you give mama the phone please?” Ollie hands you the phone and wiggles out of his seat to grab his bag from the floor.
“I love you.” You said before he could say anything. Chris laughed.
“I love you to infinity and beyond.” He cut straight to the chase, sticking his tongue out. You faked a pout. “Bubba, that's not fair.”
“Of course it is.” He gave a smug smile. You playfully rolled your eyes. “Ollie, come say bye to daddy.” Ollie hugged you coming into frame. “Byyyeee” you said together, making Chris smile wide.
“Bye.” He blew a kiss and hung up.
“Alright bub, what do you say we order pizza to kick off Ollie and mama week?” You asked, taking his hand to help him jump out of the car. “Yeah!” He cheered. “And cheese fries?!”
“And cheese fries!” You laughed.
