Drops A drip falls aimlessly down the condensation now resting on my glass. The day has been long and tiresome. And as I sit mulling over the complexity of this simple drop of water. I'm reminded we are all solitary drops in an ever moving world. Holding tightly. Moving slowly. Oblivious. What's inside that drop of condensation? Is there a world such as this, oblivious as well? I sip my tea. Holding my thought long enough to truly enjoy this moment. Cold water in my hand gripping the perfect mixture of sweet and un-sweet tea. The sun warming my skin. To think I'm just a drop. Yesterday When the lights go out and the cheering fades. When all the ticker tape lands leaving the air blank. When every spark has flown away. When the laughter turns into ringing in your ear. Every person fights the 'they' in their own way. Every 'they' has their own warped perception. For me it's you're dumb, you're mean, and you're unsuccessful. Be a better mother, be a better wife, be less you and more normal. To 'them' I say- here I am! This skin, this heart, this brain! Here I am believing in myself anyway! Straight Out Of Camera How many photogs out there are comfortable sharing a sooc pic? I am. Why? Because a good photographer knows a photo that is perfect in camera is valuable! This shot of beautiful @kamryn_wong from the #grindcitymeet2017 is so wonderful. From the light leek to the effortlessness in her body language. If you're interested what I would do to this photo here it is: 1. Up the contrast a bit 2. Fix colors. That yellow would be more orange 2. The shadows would get a hint of blue 3. I'd remove the hair that's illuminated in her fingers.
