Thinking about how military workcenters sometimes have little mascots. In one shop I worked in, our mascot was an evil elf on the shelf who hung from our fire alarm. In another, it was a weird little animal made of paperclips and an eraser. Do you think 141 have a shop mascot?? 👀

Ok, this sounds bad to civilian ears, but our mascot was a cartoonish looking mechanic with an oversized wrench and dirty coveralls. We called ourselves The Mechanics and our motto was "BUST A NUT."

Surprising to most reading this, that was one of the shops where I experienced zero harassment. Everyone looked out for each other, as they should. The difference was our immediate chain of command. They set the tone, and they didn't put up with harassment.

If there were a shop mascot for TF 141, I promise you Soap & Gaz came up with it together. I'll leave it up to the fandom regarding what it was, whether it was a drawn mascot, a stuffed toy, or some creepy abomination made from office supplies or bits of rubbish.
