Went for dessert last night, blue dress from H&M, belt from a pair of shorts from Forever 21, red coat from Forever 21, black scarf from Costa Blanca- was actually a regular scarf, but I sewed it into a circle scarf, and boots I got from my mom for Christmas.

Favourite Boots!
Got them at Winners for $40.00, super cheap and super comfy :) Also prefer them over the Steve Madden boots, because my legs are thin and the maddens dont hug my calves the way these ones do.

I bought these jeans at H&M for 29.95, but when I bought them the pattern was black. I bleached them, expecting it to turn grey- I was going to dye over that with some purple and turquoise tie dye, and make them look destroyed... But after i left them in the bleach, the pattern started turning red, I guess because the company used a base red dye- it's cheaper than black.
So I let the jeans sit, and they came out white with a yellow pattern, and the thread was a dark brown. I love them.

Everything is salvageable.
Bought a plain, baby pink silicone phone case in the summer, and the colour from my jeans actually rubbed off on it, making it a nasty grey colour. I used sharpie to colour half of it- I actually drew a straight line down the centre, and coloured in one side of it. Then i took the glitter polish, and going sideways with it, the Sharpie ink actually became wet again and leaked to the other side. I went over it once with the glitter polish, then filled in any air pockets that were left, and let it dry.

Used Zoya polish, and China Glaze Sparkles. Zoya is definitely great quality polish, and the China Glaze sparkles lasted a while too. The worst part is getting it all OFF of your nails.

My grade nine backpack. This was one of my first DIY projects, I found some old buttons and I wanted to make my bag different than the other thousand at my school just like it. If you can use a needle and thread you can do this- it took about an hour, and has lasted me four years- just reinforce the buttons a couple times and you're good to go!

me and glitter are like cheese and macaroni
There is actually nothing I love more than sparkles, and I looked for a good glitter polish for a while. I settled for Venique's, its simple and goes on really well- not much trouble to spread the sparkles around.

More beads from Sick Kids, for $1.00. Just beaded continuously onto elastic string, and I wear it wrapped around my wrist a bunch of times. One of my favourite bracelets!

Needed a pink bandana for a breast cancer event at school, but Michael's Craft Store only had white. I had some Tulip Red Tie Dye left over at home from the summer, so I mixed together a small amount and dyed the bandana until it was the colour I wanted. Turned out perfect!
