MapleStory 2 Enchant Changes And 64-Bit Client: The Misgivings About Fixing The In-game Progression Issues Still Exist
MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf got its latest sequel published. This one is about Enchantment changes and 64-bit client. As the third unveiled portion of the reputed “Progression Improvement Update” which tentatively would be launched on the 25th of this month, this major improvement will allegedly save much more cost of enchanting than any updates did before and thusly ease player’s progression path.
Progression Improvement Update is considered as the second major update that the developers plan on bringing up into MapleStory 2, right behind the Economy Improvement Update which mostly features resolving MapleStory 2 Mesos‘ issues.
Enchantment Changes are reportedly concerned with two NPCs who help players enchant their equipment in the game, mostly. Those two NPCs are known as Ophelia and Peachy. Another major add-on alongside this Peachy’s enchant revamp is the 64-bit client, which would be a great help to the players with 64-bit Operating System PCs. Also, this compatibility affair is scheduled to be implanted into the game gradually. And the 32-bit client won’t be embargoed even if the 64-bit becomes available.

Forza Horizon 4 Update 8 Bringing Important Multiplayer Changes

The next content update for Forza Horizon 4 has been detailed by its developer, Playground Games, and the big attention point is the multiplayer aspect of the game. Besides an all-new game mode to enjoy, there will be fixes to the existing experience which will make a pretty important improvement to everyone's online fun.

Update 8 is being known as the Drift Adventure update, in honour of the new multiplayer game mode being added. Drift Adventure is the first multiplayer mode in Forza Horizon 4 dedicated entirely to the art of going sideways, as you compete against other players in pursuit of the best single lap drift score. In conjunction with this a new drift camera view is being added — a similar one has recently made it into Forza Motorsport 7 — that angles the camera to better work with the additional sideways motions of drifting. Beyond Drift Adventure, Playground has also been listening to community feedback and some pretty stellar changes are coming to the existing online adventure experience.
S2 Class has been removed from Dirt Racing Championships.
B Class has been added to Dirt Racing Championships.
Freeroam Rush events have been removed from all Asphalt and Street Race Championships.
Collisions are disabled for the first 30 seconds of each race. This change also applies to Horizon Life PvP races.
The collisions being disabled in particular will make a huge difference to online races, and is just part of the anti-griefing work that Playground has been undertaking to try and ensure a fun and fair online experience. All this is in addition to a new Showcase Remix and a new car pack that will be available free to anyone who owns either the Car Pass or the Ultimate Edition of the game, as well as a slew of fixes and improvements. The Best British Game Award In BAFTA Goes To Forza Horizon 4

Playground Games has added another achievement to its trophy case. Last night at the annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards, it picked up the win for Best British Game for Forza Horizon 4.
The win comes on the back of previous accolades for the open-world racer. It wrapped up 2018 with a win at the Game Awards and followed up in February of this year at the DICE Awards. Both of those were for sports and racing games though, whereas last night’s win was a more general category.
The British Game of the Year competition included titles made by — you guessed it — British studios. The list of nominees included some heavy hitters:

Forza Horizon 4 has both a critical and commercial hit for the team. It sits at a 92 rating on Metacritic and hit over seven million players back in January. As for what’s next for FH4? The recent season change introduced two new BMW models for players to hunt down, and the next major update is set for mid-April. MapleStory Merch Store Is Open For Business: See What Kind OF Goods Nexon Are Selling Now

Nexon just opened up a small online shop for Maplers who'd like to invest a big load of money on Maple-themed toys in the real world the same as they did in the game. The small booth is called MapleStory Merch Store.
As far as we know, this store is sort of a front of the Nexon Store where some more products and services are still in development and their putaway is around the corner. This MapleStory Merch Store features nothing but T-shirts, plushies, and tumblers. All of them are unexceptionally branded with all sorts of Maple World NPC figures or other typical symbols respectively. By a rough calculation, The store shelf doesn't hold no more than 12 different kinds of products.
This little online shop is a veritable booth, theatrically, founded by a big company like Nexon.
Although it was probably coming out as a marketing strategy, Nexon also stressed that all the first-launched merchandises are of limited quantities. Path Of Exile 3.6.3b Update: Synthesis Nonstop Problematic Mechanics Won't Be Holding Up Anymore?

Path of Exile is releasing the 3.6.3b patch to fix the partial remains of glitches and exploits in the latest iteration Synthesis League and other content. Reportedly, this is the fourth patch has been deployed since the release of Synthesis league.
Most of this patch, according to the patch notes on the official website, is to address the issues that have been haunting on Synthesis league all the time. It also includes some other content of fixing the miscellaneous bugs deep within the game. Nevertheless, the centerpiece of this patch is the Synthesis part, nothing more.
"Essence and Fossils can be used on Fractured Items" literally tops the list of the highlights from the synthesis part of this patch. Since there have been advocacies of patching up "Essence and Fossils" issues on the very next day of Synthesis league debut. I would think it's fair enough to say this issue was becoming the most concerned pain point and it's rather advisable to address this issue in this time than later.
Obviously, not all piece of measures from this patch can be quite a blessing. For instance, "Abysses can no longer spawn in Memories" seems pretty much reckless to be randomly brought up in the notes considering the undeniable fact that the Abysses was enabled to spawn in certain memories in the last patch. This kind of patch can be nothing more of a slap in the face of the developers' hard work.
It's not the only conflict and disadvantage that this patch shows up in front of Path of Exile players. "Various beasts in your Bestiary are now hidden unless you have already captured them" is another piece of the patch that widely has been denounced after the note published. It's mostly a nerf to the reward drops and a higher requirement for hardcore gameplay. But a great deal of players doesn't respond to that healthily and willingly. They argued that this is a deal-breaker that will definitely end up alienating more players from the game. Betrayal related mechanics and other aspects of Synthesizer issues are also emerged from the deep water into an open debate due to this patch.

A New Title Called "Path of Warframe" Is Emerged From The Darkness On April 1st
Path of Exile is holding an April Fool's event today while some players subjectively presumed it was going to be a Game-coming-to-mobile-devices prankish news broadcast before. However, it turns out to be a different-genres-blended-together joking fest.

It all started with the imaginary game expansion called "Path of Warframe: The Quest for the average neck" - which according to the news anchor "Rebekah" Bex, is one of all expansions from a first-person top-down Action RPG hack-n-shooter genre. Not only sounds the goofy name hilarious and quite intriguing, but it also rolls in the aisles when Bex explains in a funny way.
What is this so-called "merged-from-two-games-from-different-genres crossover" for? what is the content this expansion showing up for? Bex explained that the game has a complex gameplay mechanic that doesn't nothing but reward the players with loots, items, treasure, currency (like POE Orbs), and microtransactions. And the expansion is to seek an average neck - not too high, not too short by playing either Path of Exile's Templar or Warframe's Atlas.
Although it sounds perfectly natural and a bit of dull to you when I paraphrase the statement that way, I assure the original content of news was quite a hoot and you probably couldn't resist and be reluctant to hear any words from a brain-damaged retard or a fully drunk hummingbird.
The microtransactions in Path of Warframe is another eye-catching spoofing show. The exclusive microtransactions include Itchy Necklace, the Allergy Inducing Scarf, Oozing Rash, Goiter, Hickie, Shoulder Hair Vegan Neck Tattoo and a Plunging V-neck. And the Neckbeard Cosmetic as the endgame rewards for ultimate players. You can see the relevance among these items without any finger-pointing.
So another feature in this crossover game is that somehow they managed to feed both community directors from two games, Rebb and Bex, into an AI. And forge a new one named REBBBEX. What this new REBBBEX does as a community moderator for an imaginary game is to post gifs on your live streams, introduce new content, destroy Twitter and kill all humans.

Free Armour Trimming: The Communist Revolution Inside Runescape
RuneScape was once declared the world’s largest multiplayer online game. Millions of people were entranced by its blocky graphics and repetitive gameplay. Like many young people in the early noughties, I was naively drawn in by RuneScape’s promise that hard work, industrious labour, and a lava battle staff would allow me to earn enjoyment and success. Capitalism, too, has promised the workers of the world that faithfulness to our employers is the path to contentment. Yet the relation of exploitation between the capitalist and working classes has led the proletariat into open revolt against our rulers over and over again. RuneScape, like capitalism, has repeatedly entered into periods of crisis in which the people have demanded change. And as I learned today while procrastinating, in RuneScape just as in capitalism, the people have turned to communism to build a new world. An ancient fan wiki revealed to me the lost history of class struggle in RuneScape, and now I bring it to the world in the hopes of developing our class consciousness as workers. In 2007, a communist RuneScape clan was formed to bring proletarian rule to Server 32 of the world of Gielinor. In a context of scattered clan infighting, the RuneScape communist party was a rampantly victorious social force. Under the wise leadership of SireZaros, the communists waged a revolutionary struggle against reactionary and bourgeois clans that saw more than 5,000 player characters killed in the fighting. Where the other clans, though, were motivated by base self-interest, the communists were driven by something more, something higher. With the weight of history on their side, animated by the might of the worker-peasant masses, armed with both the revolutionary science of Marxism and dragon battleaxes, the RuneScape communists were militarily undefeatable. Within three months, the communists controlled 95% of Server 32. It was thus that the working class of Gielinor became, for a brief and beautiful moment, masters of our own destiny.

The RuneScape communists quickly set about building socialism. They established a series of Soviets, elected local councils tasked with determining the needs of the working class. These councils appointed members to a people’s parliament who deliberated the issues of the day and approved or denied the decisions of a cabinet of more than 20 ministers. This socialist government was responsible for planning and administering every aspect of the world’s economy. Redistributing wealth, shepherding the collective wellbeing of all, RuneScape socialism flourished. SireZaros, once the leader of a revolutionary army, was now president of a peacetime government. The world, for a time, was peaceful. This was not to last. In early 2008, the party fell into a period of brutal civil war. Led by Redsteel136, a more junior party member, a small group of coup-makers scrabbled for control of the government. After vicious brother versus brother, sister versus sister, player versus player combat, Redsteel136’s plot was successful. The new leadership of the party found the deposed cabinet guilty of crimes against humanity–an accusation which history, unfortunately, does not illuminate either way. SireZaros, the hero of the revolution, along with the entire overthrown party cadre, was executed. With Redsteel136 as the new General Secretary of the party, the communists pursued a strategy of market reforms to build a powerful economy. Funding the state from the proceeds of the sale of high-level items, Server 32 was a commanding force. The changes initiated by General Secretary Redsteel136 were not only economic. Karamja is an in-game island populated by NPC pirates and (in hindsight, more than little racist caricatures of) indigenous people. The presence of pirates hints, I think, at an in-universe history of colonialism perpetrated against Karamja by the now communist-controlled Kingdoms of Asgarnia and Kandarin. In a display of admirable anti-imperialist solidarity between socialists in the imperial core and colonised peoples, General Secretary Redsteel136 acknowledged the virtual island’s right to national liberation. Administration of the island was handed over to a Karamjan clan who have, unfortunately, gone unrecorded in history. Life in Server 32, it appears, settled down for a time after the chaos of the civil war. However, measures implemented in late 2007 by the developers of RuneScape to control real-world money trading had set a catastrophic chain reaction in motion. Some light is shed on the disaster by Tanla E. Bilir’s 2009 thesis on RuneScape’s relation to the non-virtual economy. Jagex, the company that produces RuneScape, needed to counteract the issue of virtual marketplaces such as eBay allowing the sale of in-game items for cash. In order to prevent players in-game from handing over valuable items for nothing, a clear indicator that payment had been received in US Dollars rather than Gielinorian Gold Pieces, Jagex set the prices of all in-game items at fiat values. All items were then required to trade for a number of RuneScape Gold pieces within a fixed range above or below that fiat value. That value could vary up or down as items were traded, but it could only increase or decrease by a limited amount over a given period. The effects of this dastardly economic imperialism by the capitalist running dogs at Jagex were devastating to Server 32’s workers’ state. The unbelievably rare, highly sought-after items such as colourful paper Party Hats or the (inexplicably priceless) Half Full Jugs of Wine had had their fiat values set orders of magnitude lower than their market value. Items which had once sold for billions of gold pieces were now impossible to trade–and because General Secretary Redsteel136’s market reforms had founded the communist economy on these items, the economy imploded. In October, the economy bottomed out at its historical low. Nevertheless, the communist party continued to hold out, hoping that the tradeable price of high-level items would eventually grow high enough to allow for an eventual economic recovery. Sadly, this was not to be. In the grip of total market collapse, the communists were incapable of extracting enough tax revenue from players to meet the clan fees necessary for them to maintain power. As the sun set on the final few days of December 2008, after almost a year of working-class rule, General Secretary Redsteel136 dissolved the party and returned power to the bourgeoisie. RuneScape’s first experiment in socialism ended, regretfully, in the restoration of capitalist domination. This should not, however, be taken as a sign that capitalism is inevitable or uncontestable. The revolutionary fervour with which the proletariat of Server 32 ganked and teabagged their way to power demonstrates clearly that the objective conditions for communism in RuneScape can and do exist. Likewise, while General Secretary Redsteel136′s ascent to power came through backroom politicking and anti-democratic plots, his policies towards Karamjan national liberation were progressive and internationalist. The crisis which snuffed out the flame of socialism was the result of a concerted attack by a powerful capitalist foe. RuneScape’s communist revolution was defeated a decade ago. As Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels taught in The Manifesto of Communist Party, “What the bourgeoisie, therefore, produces, above all, are its own grave-diggers. Its fall and the victory of the proletariat are equally inevitable.” The struggles we face, in the workplace and in the family computer room, result from the internal contradictions of the capitalist world system. The rich need us, in order to exploit us for our labour. With nobody to extract profit from, capitalism could not exist. But we do not need the rich. There is no reason we cannot break the mithril chains of exploitation, come together as workers, and share in common the sweet loot of our labour.

MapleStory 2 Accessory Socket Improvement Plan Is Now Underway
As most of the Maplers might have known about, MapleStory 2 was officially rolling out Mar. 28th update and already deployed into the game. The so-called Mar. 28th update features 3 diverse main aspects, including the establishment of the MapleStory 2 Mesos Market, an escalation of Epic Pet drop rate and fixes of Meso Sink Reduction issue. Although it was made clear in the last announcement that this update would be merely a prelude to the massive subsequent fix-ups, still, many praised for the improvements the update have brought along after an immersive experience of the new game.
In the meantime, MapleStory 2 is still sticking to the Project New Leaf, which has been inaugurated for an overhaul to the game inside out, and ready to surmount another obstacle ahead of it - Accessory Socket.
Earlier today, In the official announcement, MapleStory 2 pledged to release another update concerned with Progression Improvement in the next month, as well as expanded on the specifics of the next update content. The announcement also stated that as one of the main subjects in this Project New Leaf, Progression Improvement would become the last one left to be dealt with.
As the top priority of this Progression Improvement, Accessory Socket is undoubtingly the star of this post. Much of the remainder of this post focused on how to fix this issue and what measures would they take. However, for starters, they actually pointed out that the random elements for opening accessory sockets combined with the accessory fusion Meso cost are extremely excruciating for many players. You don't need to be hyped up for these changes too early. Based on the announcement, the actual accessories categories applied to those improvements go way beyond the limitation. So your Legendary Accessories are also incorporated in the list.
As you can see from the charts, what MapleStory 2 tried to work out is making each attempt to opening one accessory socket "guaranteed with double the amount of accessories needed while keeping the Crystal Fragment cost the same." In the meantime, uplifting the success rate into 100% so that the general cost of successfully opening a socket can be tremendously degraded compared to the current mechanic it adopts. This kind of improvement, of course, will be favored by Maplers and contributed to the reflux of runaway players to some extent.

A Statement From Final Fantasy XIV Online Director Implies A Possible Extension Of The Game Platform Ports
The discussion of new potential console ports for Final Fantasy XIV is brought up in the latest talk with the game director Naoki Yoshida. Nintendo and Xbox may be the next havens for Final Fantasy XIV Online. Discussions are still in the works even though hinted.

There is a possibility that Final Fantasy XIV Online may extend its compatible platform into Nintendo and Xbox someday in the near feature. In an interview with FFXIV game director Naoki Yoshida by Gamespot, it was made clear that discussion with Microsoft, Nintendo, and Google are currently in progress.
In a previous interview, the game director also stressed that cross-platform play is needed for the unity of Final Fantasy player bases and the offer of the best experience. The game only with PS4 and PC needs to be past history. With Sony and Nintendo starting to allow cross-play with competing platforms for games like Fortnite and Rocket League, there is a higher possibility for Final Fantasy XIV to extend to these platforms.
Yoshida even stated in his interview, "So as long as the regulations with the counterpart hardware companies ... we can actually pass that, then the possibility, the chance is quite high" [of Final Fantasy XIV coming to Xbox and Nintendo systems].
However, this is mostly speculation. According to Yoshida, negotiations with the other platforms are still going on. He reassured though that once there are details, there will be an announcement.
Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers will release on July 2nd, 2019 while you still need to be prepared for a series of rigorous combats in A Realm Reborn by now, so you probably are dying for substantial FFXIV Gil to recharge and upgrade.

You can accomplish that in MLB the Show 19 by seeking for the prompt on the top left corner and clicking the correct button combination to send the runner you want. If you have, for example, a runner at first and third, and you only want to send the runner at first to steal, you would press the left analog stick to the right, and then press L2. If you only have one runner on base, or you want to send everyone despite the bag they are on, you can just tap L2 once pre-pitch. To steal a base in RTTS is a little different than the other MLB The Show 19 game modes when you’re controlling a whole team of players other than a single player. When you’re controlling a single player, you’re playing from their perspective and so all of the buttons are changed, and base running is completely different. To steal, you need to seek for the prompt in the top right corner and then see what the button is for “Advance” which may vary from what base you’re on, and then press and hold that button whenever you’re ready. Your goal is to time your advance with the pitcher just starting his throwing motion. MapleStory 2 Dungeon Delight Event: Newcomers-friendly Is Not The Only Pursuit

MapleStory 2 Project New Leaf has recently extended the longevity of a band-aid solution to current Progression issues, which would be replaced by the Progression Improvement update in the next month, according to the latest post issued on the official website.
As is well known for all Maplers, the Progression Mechanics in MapleStory 2 has been drowning in the mire of unfairness and suppression for a very long time. For the majority of players whose progressions are way below the ones from the apex of the pyramid, all progression mechanics and other correlatives this game has now almost backfired and did more harm than good to bridge the gap between low-level players and high-level ones. Even the FairFight system, which basically nerfs players' damages towards dungeon bosses up to a certain point, has devoted nothing to the redemption of the wide disparity between these two classes.
The band-aid solution called Dungeon Delight event was initially announced at the official website on January 18th, 2019 and was deployed into MapleStory 2 on the last day of the same month. Since it has gone along pretty well in the game, there is a necessity to disclose all the details about this event. The Mar. 20 evolved version of Dungeon Delight event is designed to be made up of two different aspects:
First, It will provide 30% bonus attack for every player in Chaos Raids;
Second, it also grants double drops for players during Fortress Rumbles.

In addition to that, Mar. 22 version of Dungeon Delight event also confirmed that this event will be permanently disabled once the Progression Fix update comes out at April 25th. For developers' ego, the Apr. 25 Update is believed to patch up all progression issues in the game once for all as if by magic.
In the meantime, MapleStory 2 is getting down to implement a series of changes over several aspects in the game that hopefully will turn around the current RNG performance in the end. The aspects of this plan include but not limited to:

Gemstone Upgrades
Gemstone Resource Gathering
Accessory Socket Opening
These improvements will be successively conducted from the next week, along with some fixes to the MapleStory 2 Mesos related issues and Epic Pets.

RuneScape Player Support Improvements: Better Late Than Never

RuneScape is reviewing its Security Measures deployed for protecting the majority of legitimate players against hijacking. Reportedly, more than 60% of RuneScape Players haven't been so convinced of the overrated efficacy of the game Security Barrier and at least 30% of players have been hijacked or scammed once in the game before.
Security Measures wasn't the only character in the show. RuneScape was announced to plan on issuing a batch of corrections and improvements on Account Recovery, Account Security, Customer Support, Anti-cheating, Toxicity in the game and many other issues that concern Players' experiences mostly. The official blog post described this project as a "significant work", which requires much more time and technology to tackle because of some legacy issues and its "no-quick-fix" policy.
It's been a very long time since the first group of rantings towards gimcrack RuneScape Security was laid out on social media. Many doubted and accused of the effect of RuneScape Security Measures in the game where it was fighting against cheaters and hackers all the time. 2019 May MapleStory Fest: A Sneak Peek At The Scheme Nexon Will Implement

MapleStory Fest, which was inaugurated in the April of the last year, seemingly comes back to Maplers again in the next month, according to the official statement from Nexon.
Allegedly, MapleStory Fest is able to pull off due to massive quantities of followings and diehards, mostly driven by nostalgia and fixating on their childhoods. It is why MapleStory is still updating and evolving since its debut in 2005 and MapleStory 2, the orthodox sequel of MapleStory, could get so much attention and engagement in the first month of its release.
However, nothing will last forever, even includes video games. After over 5 months of exploration and progressing, MapleStory 2 turned itself into a cover-girl-esque has-been. According to Steam records, 95% of the concurrent players of this game have vanished and evaporated during the five months, and most importantly, it didn't get any better recently. It was gladly seeing the decline of active players' number take a pause for some causes, however, the rise seemed nowhere to seek for and anything in the game doesn't turn around or better off than before.
A new project called New Leaf has been rolled out to address all the issues within the deep side of the game. Recently, it focuses on patching up the MapleStory 2 Mesos sink reduction and Epic Pets. Note that this project is nothing but a proactive diagnosis before a real "surgery", means that nothing will be changed and no effects can be found until all the promising measures are really deployed to the game.
MapleStory Fest will be a pure cash cow that only serves to rake in big profits through selling off the nostalgic stereotypes, or is going to a convention for introspection and prospects, along with a few more handshakes and heckles? MapleStory 2 Official Diagnosis And Cure: Ease The Old Way Of Progression Isn't A Permanent Solution

As the most Maplers might have seen, MapleStory 2 and its developers were progressing the so-called "Project New Leaf" and gradually extended the untouched categories that have been publically recognized as "contents with fatal flaws".
Last Friday, The Project New Leaf updated and published a new announcement about patching up some new contents which have been bothering the game and affected players' retention so long as the others. These patchy contents include Epic Pets, Mesos Sink Reduction, Legendary Gear, Accessory Fragment Fusion and so on. It looks like the fourth overhaul to the game is nailed down and scheduled. Meanwhile, as far as we know, MapleStory 2 developers do not want it as the last stop. It means that there will be definitely one or more sequels of this update in order to address MapleStory 2 Mesos issues successfully.
Although someone might argue with the very first intention from MapleStory 2 developers to issue these overhauls, this one is significant and thorough as the previous ones by scale. For instance, Epic Pets, as was promised in the post, would be a lot easier to be captured in this update and the odds of capturing one will increase by 600% in the game. As for Meso Sink, there is a big scope of reduction for Meso Cost in changing attributes of Legendary Gear and Accessory Fragment Fusion. Volk concluded: “Following the successful implementation at the recent FIFA eClub World Cup last month, we are hugely excited that the 2v2 team format will return and be part of the first-ever FIFA eNations Cup. The new 2v2 match format is another important innovation for the sport of eFootball this season and will add further drama – as well as another dynamic – to the event during what will be an exciting two-day exhibition of some of the best eFootball in the world.” The qualification process for national teams competing at the FIFA eNations Cup will be run by member associations.
