The biggest reaches I’ve seen Antis come up with:
Azriel’s shadows don’t like Elain.
Feyre is an unreliable narrator (but Cassian’s opinions on Elain’s dress are law).
Elain loves Lucien so much that she avoids him.
Azriel only lusts for Elain.
Azriel thinks of Elain as a sister.
Lucien was the one who helped Elain (suggesting she get some fresh air > Azriel literally discovering Elain is a seer, I guess)
Elain can’t have Azriel’s babies, but Gwyn supposedly can because of one line about her “pliant bones”.
Elain doesn’t belong in the night court because she likes flowers
Elain couldn’t handle Azriel’s “darkness”
And I’m supposed to take ANY of their theories seriously???

"Elain gave it back".
That's what we learned from Morrigan and Feyre, in regards to what had happened to Elain and Truth Teller.
She returned it to Azriel. That simple gesture has been continuously misinterpreted as 'Elain doesn't care about TT or Azriel' or 'Elain abhors violence' and 'Elain can't handle Azriel's darkness'.
But what happened between Nesta cutting off the King's head and Elain returning the knife?
Because Elain wasn't the last person who held the dagger--it was Nesta. What transpired was Nesta rushed to the king, and grabbed the hilt of the dagger as she began twisting it. Meanwhile, Elain ran to Cassian, and both of them watched Nesta behead the King.
Now, nothing is said further about the knife. Nesta lifted the severed head and looked at it, while the Cauldron couldn't believe that Elain defended this 'thief', yet the Cauldron found her so lovely, it could never hurt her.
All of this means one thing--Elain went BACK for the dagger. She picked it up from the ground or she took it from Nesta. She was the one who understood its significance and its importance to Azriel and she took the dagger back. And likely, she cleaned it. Wiped the blade of blood and gore, before placing it back into the scabbard.
She was the one who carried it with her until the end of the battle, not knowing if Azriel would survive. If any of them would survive. But she served as the custodian for Truth Teller until it could be returned to its rightful owner. She carried it the entire day, following Azriel's words 'I won't be using it today' and once she saw that Azriel lived, she gave it back to him. If he'd died, it would've been Elain who would've held on to the dagger. If Azriel had died, it was Elain whom he trusted with his most treasured possession.
Elain stabbed the king in the throat, watched his beheading, had the Cauldron purr over her, then picked the dagger up, cleaned it and kept it safe for the duration of the battle, even after finding her father dead and watching the Cauldron being reforged.
Still think that Elain can't handle Azriel's darkness?

One aspect of the Solstice headache powder scene we don't talk about is the fact that Elain felt comfortable enough to do that. Not just to make a joke with Az, but also in front of the everybody else. Her main concern seems to be "Will Azriel like it?" and not "Will everyone else think it's rude? Will they take it the wrong way?"
Elain is comfortable enough with all these people to make a joke at their expense, and none of them are mad/offended. She fits in here, she has a home, a family, and friends. She is happy. And I think that needs to be focused on more especially since a few months ago she was afraid of faeries, but is now celebrating Solstice with them and making dinner for them and cracking jokes.

Something that always confuses me is that people always talk about azriel's shadows (his literal power as said in the last cc book) like they represent his trauma, his inner darkness and the deepest part of himself,
but somehow that same attitude is not reserved for his scars? (yk the actual physical representation of his trauma and the part of himself he seems most insecure about)
Could it be because, differently from the shadows (that have became misteriously sentient even thought they've never been explicity described as such, in fact azriel himself says that they are only magic), the scars have ever only been reffered in a positive light by elain?
like even mor who has known him for centuries flinched away from the scars, but elain who knew him for only a few months called them beautiful

one of the things i hate the most about this ship war is how those people keep undermining elain's character and individuality
they keep saying stuff like "we don't really know what's going on in her head" or claiming that she needs something or the other, she just doesn't realize that. the thing is we do know what she thinks, she states it a few times during the series: the only problem is that it doesn't align with what they want from her
saying she does not belong in the night court off a comment someone else made about how she looks in black and ignoring her literally saying OUT LOUD that the nc is her home and that she is a part of the court
and saying that she needs to be away from her sisters when she has spent the last few years trying to rekindle their relationship (first with feyre, by apologizing and trying to be better, then with nesta in acosf, which i know many won't agree with, but the whole time she was just trying to help) is ignoring a big part of her character
and so is ignoring her relationship with azriel and her feelings about the mating bond, which she may have not stated out loud (yet) but she has made parfectly clear. everybody knows it, the entire night court and the readers (those who don't live in delusions)

"elain's journey should be about her finding her voice, her place in the world" and yet you want her to leave her family, her friends, her job and her gardens for a man that, by the way, has no intention of becoming high lord, and mostly not of two courts who already have their specific high lords

the only reason they killed off quicksilver in aou it's because iw would have lasted five minutes with him. like he literally could take all the stones from the gauntlet right before the snap and left thanos shoked while thor would have gone for the head.

SPOILER ENDGAME
also can we talk about the fact that tony's death was absolutely unnecessary?? like i'm glad he died as hero and had the death that he deserved but like his death wasn't necessary. they could have killed him later when he finally spent years with his loved ones without worrying about thanos or fighting. after the snap he could have been just REALLY hurt, like paralysed or even in a lot of pain for some time and then he could have just lived like this until his death with his whole family. like he could have seen peter's graduation or helped Morgan everytime she needed him. he could have grown old with Pepper, he could have hang out with all the avengers to remember the old times. BUT NO, MCU HAD TO KILL EARTH'S BEST DEFENDER FOR NOT REASON AT ALL
but still I really lived the movie, it was EPIC and even if i'm bitter about tony's end i still like the fact that he died saving the whole univers. he died as a hero.
