A piece taken
As I give without asking or questioning, is this the right thing for me to do. I give. Pieces of me has been slowly peeling away from the heat that's been applied. I've been regenerating over and over again, receiving the same outcome. Willing to sacrifice my needs for the wants and needs of others. Willing to sit back and watch as my wants and needs shatter like broken glass. I can constantly hear the pieces hit the ground. Somehow it became poetic and the rhythm of disappointment plays a tune I became addicted to. I'm addicted to pieces being taken and I'm addicted to shattered glass
