You dare tempt me with an isekai AU and expect me to NOT ask for follow-up!? (Also, *waves* Hi! Welcome back. Hope you enjoyed your writing sabbatical. May I also ask what it was you worked on instead? Anything fun there?)

Did I not respond to this? Yikes. My bad. (My brain must be more broken than I thought.)

I honestly don’t remember what my original comment was (see broken brain comment above), but I sadly haven’t written anything since NaNoWriMo last November when I wrote 50k words of flaming garbage about PV Félix and PV Bridgette riding the train to Hogwarts at the start of term for all seven years.

I have been itching to write something lately, and I have always wanted to read an isekai AU, but never found one. So, like any self-respecting creative, if it doesn’t exist, I have to write it myself just so that I can have the pleasure of reading it.

Unfortunately, I am currently hopelessly stuck trying to figure out a basic outline. I may need to scrap my idea and just write a Miraculous crack fic with an akuma that isekais Adrienette. Adrien, being the good weeb he is, knows all the tropes, and easily drags Marinette along to whatever the most cliché conclusion is to get them out. Probably defeating the akuma that is playing the part of the demon lord or something.

In the mean time, to scratch the itch and shake off some rust, I was brainstorming one-shot ideas last night, but nothing stuck.

Man, I miss writing. I’ve been keeping myself busy with sewing in the mean time.

If you want to write a dumb little story with a dumb little plot and ridiculously silly characters. No one's stopping you. Genuinely, no one should be allowed to stop you. Write that dumb story with your whole heart and don't hold back.

Lol. Hi, Lyco! I took a year off from writing to work on other stuff. (Just like a took a year off from sewing before that.)

Anyway….

A plot bunny attacked me this week, and I’m working on the outline for an Isekai AU because, gosh darn it, I’ve wanted to read an isekai AU and keep searching for one to read but haven’t found one yet! I need more portal fantasy romances in my life!

So, yeah. That’s what I’ve been up to. 😁
