IT BEGINS! INKtober: Day 1: “Ellén Trechend” The Ellén Trechend is an Irish mythological monster far too often depicted as a three headed dragon beast. I drew it as it was described. It is said that the Sidhe (Irish elves/faeries) of Cruachan began a fall festival called Samhain, and when they began, from a nearby cave poured a horde of goblins. Behind these goblins followed a flock of copper red birds, lead by a gargantuan three headed vulture, this was the Ellén Trechend. As ireland has no native vulture species (that I could find) I decided to go with my favorite and model it off of The Bearded Vulture. This real bird is beyond beautiful, but it has a habit of swallowing bones whole and rubbing a blood red dirt into its feathers to give it a beautiful red color, as well as resembling a sort of dragon. I thought that fit perfectly.
I used Photoshop, but I created two special brushes that mimic real inking brushes and a water color brush. Only the inking brush and water color were used.

so for the past week or so After or around midnight I would be sitting there and my mind would wander, every time it did I would picture this figure, walking across space as though it was the surface of a great body of water, leaving ripples as he/it counted the stars in the sky. I don't entirely know who or what he is, but I just had to draw him. I call him "The Midnight Prince". His mask is inverted, creating the optical illusion that his face is turning to follow you. His body fades from an inky black into a shimmering gold, and his skin is translucent revealings stars.

The Difference Between Boomers and Millennials
I think I have come to see the main difference between Boomers and Millennials.
We both go through the same terrible things life throws our way. But the key difference is how the two generations react.
Boomers have bad stuff happen and are told "that's the way the world is, suck it up buttercup. We all get hurt, the world isn't a nice fair place" and they ACCEPT that is how things are. They then raised us going "The world isn't a good fair place, you need to toughen up..."
Then Millennials, taught from a young age that the world isn't fair or nice, grow up to experience the same bad things. But instead of accepting it we decided to CHANGE it. We go through the bad and go "You say This is the way the world is? Well lets see what we can do about that..."
The conflict comes from Boomers seeing Millennials wanting to change the world and expressing the bad things they have been through and the Boomers going "That's the way the world IS! You are snowflakes and whimps and ungrateful for not accepting the horrible things that happen! Suck it up butter cup!"
Every single fight boils down to this:
Millennials: "wow this part of society or life really sucks, we should fix it..."
Boomers: "Well I grew up suffering through that! you are a snowflake if you can't handle it!"
Like somehow they don't realize that what they are doing is saying "I've been through bad things to, so you have to as well, to try to change the world and make it better makes you weak!"
When all that's happening is the younger generations are just saying "wow, this really sucks, I'm so sorry you were raised believing this is just life and how its supposed to be, I just experienced the same bad things. I want to be tough enough to make sure they don't happen to anyone else."
We see the poor and homeless and go "wow that's a terrible way for a person to live, we should fix that"
We see starving people and go "wow that's terrible, how can we have starving people in the richest country on earth? We have enough food, lets fix that"
We see the sick and go "wow, that person is sick and we have the cure, but its locked behind an arbitrary imaginary number that prevents them from getting it, maybe we should fix that"
We see the wage gap and go "Why do the top 1% of the population control more combined wealth than the other 99%? Why is it so hard to pay people enough to live a comfortable life, we should fix that"
We see racial or sexual inequallity and go "but aren't we all just people? why is it hard to just treat each other as equals and with the respect we all deserve? we should fix that"
We see sexual harassment and assault and say "oh my God I can't believe this is happening to so many people, we need to treat each other with respect and dignity, we need to fix that"
An older person hears all of that and goes "well that's the way the world is! I experienced all of that too! they probably did something to deserve it anyway, your such a pansy for making a big deal out of this, don't you know
IT'S ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY!?"
What is so wrong with wanting to fix what's broken with the world? Why do people desperately cling to the most horrible parts of life and justify them with "well that's how its always been". Sure, maybe it has been that way, but that's even more reason to fix it.
Standing against those people fighting for real good change is the same as standing for the bad things that they are trying to fix.

“Day Dreaming” Just finished this digital painting. I spent the better part of the last four days painting it. Took many long hours to get the hair to a point that I liked, and hand painting the hundreds of water spheres took an amount of effort I was not initially prepared for when I first visualized this piece, but I’m glad I stuck to it. Even if it means not being able to use my arm for a few days. Hope everyone likes it! :) If you are interested in prints or posters of this I do have a RedBubble. https://www.redbubble.com/people/neonscorpion/works/33737235-day-dreaming?asc=u&ref=recent-owner

Mollymauk has Multiple Personality Disorder
Watching this current stream, I have evidence that Mollymauk has MPD, he has people calling him different names, loses memory (personality taking over), and he said "Here WE go by Lucian"... Meaning Mollymauk is a personality... Also the multiple clashing tattoos hint to his conflicted personalities. Im calling it now!

Well here is some random artwork! Recently I have felt handicapped artistically because I kinda jumped into art straight to trying photo-realism. I didn't really evolve as an artist over years of practice, and recently I found out I was incapable of stepping back from realism to do a stylized anime/realism style that a lot of artists do and many people love. So like with everything, I studied the style last night and after watching a few videos I was able to draw my first female portrait in the style in about 2 hours. I know its not perfect, I had some difficulties with some facial proportions and how to draw certain things a certain stylized way, but I'm pretty happy with how she turned out! I hope everyone likes it! :D

A series of illustrated symbols for the classic schools of magic from D&D.  This was a fun warm-up project to get me back into painting!

I was going to hold off on any new artwork until I got the new display tablet, but I got inspired and bored so I painted this! Took me about 3 and a half hours to make all in all, and I'm super happy how it turned out! I learned how to paint candles the other week, so I wanted to do something with Candles, semi transparent wax, and my favorite color pallet (Orange/Blue complementary) so this is what I made! I hope everyone likes it! I tried to capture a sense of cold warmth. Just one more step to reaching my random goal of becoming a professional artist! :D

anyone else feel like they missed the entire month of october. And the entire month of september. and the whole summer. and everything before that. anyone else passively floating through space and time. anyone else feeling like a member of the audience in a movie theater screening their own consciousness who’s just sitting back and eating snacks while everything plays out before them

That Broken Feeling...
I can't help but feel so broken sometimes. When confronted with an event that should shake me, I tend to feel nothing...
And sometimes that is scarier than whatever is going on. Then some months down the line, maybe even years, it will hit me like a freight train, and I will finally feel whatever I was supposed to so long ago.
For the longest time I thought this made me a sociopath, or unempathetic... but I realize now that it is because after everything I have been through any other crisis or emotional event after that feels small, or insignificant... like my mind shrugs it off with a "yup, saw that comming..." and somehow this allows me to put whatever is going on aside and move on, in seconds I can go from receiving devistateing news to reading a meme and laughing and going to show someone only to realize they are still emotionally wrecked by the thing I nearly forgot about already...
I don't know if that makes me broken, or a sociopath, or sick, or strong...
But I do know days, months, or years from now I will probably be sitting in my room alone at night, and it will hit me, and everything I pushed aside for the sake of continuing to function today will come flooding out,
and I will become dysfunctional,
and I will feel more deeply than I ever thought I could,
and I will cry and smile and realize that at least I am still human... even if I am a broken one.

5 Things Not To Do When You See A Disabled Person Under 21
I’m a disabled high schooler so I experience this shit a lot and I just wanna tell y’all what not to do, not to be mean but to just educate y’all
Assume we don’t know things. This happens to me a lot. I’m a straight A student, I’m in honors classes, and yet people still think I’m in need of educational help. I know it’s the cane cause people will talk to me normally, but then speak like I’m a 5 year old when they see my cane. It’s rude and honestly disrespectful so pls don’t.
“You’re too young to be disabled.” Holy shit no. Some of us are born with a disabilty and even if we aren’t, you don’t get to say shit about that. My legs didn’t stop working because I’m young, it’s because I have an actual illness.
“You’d be better if you went out more.” I have dealt with this so often. When I’m in extreme pain, instead of getting me pain meds or help, I normally get told I need to go out more. Walk around a bit. Fuck you.
“You shouldn’t rely on that ___” Hell no. If you take away my cane, I can walk but I’ll be in so much pain I’ll start crying. Also? Have you thought that maybe I actually need this cane? I’m not doing it for attention.
Which brings me to… DONT CALL US ATTENTION SEEKING. I promise you that if I could walk without my cane, I would. I don’t want this shit, and you saying it’s not real makes it worse.
This is just the tip of the iceberg but here’s some basic no-nos.

So I watched one video on painting human portraits and decided to give it a shot! This is the first “realistic” human I have ever done, She took 3 hours to paint (which is pretty good for my first time) and I know I probably made a LOT of rookie mistakes, but I’m super proud of how she turned out! :D
