So my dad insists that in Abrahamic mythos, angels don’t have souls and for a long time, I didn’t believe that… but I am realizing that angels are the spiritual extension of God himself.

Michael - He who is like God

Gabriel - Messenger of God

Uriel - Light of God

Raphael - God Heals

And so on

Aspects of God formed into spirits all their own. They are quite literally extensions of God, explains their undying loyalty to him.

But Lucifer, the Morningstar, fell. And so did many of God’s angels. Meaning they have free will. Meaning Lucifer may have been cast out because he evolved past the idea that he was only an extension of God.

So… do angels have souls? Or not?

For the record, this can also apply to activism. Some people are broke, disabled, mentally ill, have children, or some other issue. Not everyone can make the big protests or compile that long list of resources or even withstand the steady stream of activism content that breaks your heart in half. It's okay if you can only like, reblog, or share. It's SOMETHING, and it's more than some members of our human race is willing to do.

I truly hope in NATLA they come back around to the idea that Sokka being an engineer and strategist only adds into his ability to be a warrior. I want them to wrap his arc around to the idea that his mind doesn't mean he can't be a warrior, but that he is a leader of warriors.

What if pain by itself isn’t so bad, but rather pain in isolation? I have found that when I reach out for support from someone I know who can help, it suddenly becomes way less daunting and way less intense to deal with.

I feel connected instead of alone. I feel loved instead of alone.

Yes, I have reached the point where I will openly say the thing that a person may not want to hear because ultimately, there is nothing that can be said. Not because I am trying to be an ass, but for example if a friend is constantly let go from jobs because of their neurodiversity, you can just sit there and say "you know bud I'm sure there was a good reason."

no, these places are firing this person because of their disability, period. Acknowledging that can actually be validating sometimes.

If I was Part of Odysseus's Crew

Is the cyclops struck with guilt when he kills? Is he up in the middle of the night? Or does he end my men to avenge his friend And then sleep knowing he has done him right?

Me: The Cyclops is not very smart When the witch turns men to pigs to protect her nymphs Is she going insane? Or did she learn to be colder when she got older and now she saves them the pain?

Me: She saw one spark of goodness in you and changed her tune completely.

When a God comes down and makes a fleet drown Is he scared that he's doing something wrong? Or does he keep us in check so we must respect him And now no one dares to piss him off?

Me: You know Poseidon wasn't being fair. We all know that. I know that. Poseidon knows that, are you kidding me?

Does a soldier use a wooden horse to kill sleeping Trojans cause he is vile? Or does he throw away his remorse and save more lives with guile?

Me: Okay, I agree with this one but all you are convincing me of is that is you made the cleanest strategy possible so that you could prevent as much deaths as possible.

Now when is the last time you slept? Have you been awake for 15 days? Why did you come to the Underworld with such little sleep? Go to bed, and then make your lifechanging decision after.

I do not think Odysseus has slept in 15 days or something

He didn't sleep for 9 days in the Ocean Saga and then Circe and the Underworld happened all right next to each other, right?

Maybe he will feel better after some shut-eye
