Introducing Ryuki!

Ryuki is the youngest (but biggest) child of Zoro and Luffy’s. He inherited the Monkey D genes for height and muscle mass but not their freakish metabolism. Ryuki gains weight easily and gets plastered off sips of alcohol

He’s an Emperor of the Bad Blood Generation (people born some time after Luffy’s starting reign as King of the Pirates) This generation of pirates have little alliances and their drive to conquer the seas is due to the many wars on 70% of the worlds islands. Ryuki became an Emperor at age 20, just three years after he left the Strawhats to start his own adventure

Ryuki is a very bloodthirsty and ruthless pirate. Hes extremely cold and his victims would rather see death at their own hands than his.

Ryuki does not talk about his pirate business when he visits home (Strawhats) after the first and last fight he got into with Luffy about how he does things

His favorite foods are watermelon and pork, his designated numbers are 4 and 9, hes got a weak will towards women and children, Ryuki is transmasc and bisexual, he’s a big softy with his family (and only them) and has a giant pet sea snake.

Ryuki originally left the Strawhats to join a pirate crew with a close friend of his. He wasn’t an official Strawhat anyways (mostly honorary) so there wasn’t much issue with him leaving. The Captain had a fairly good relationship with Luffy so that also made it easy. However, after the Captain killed Ryuki’s best friend for a mistake he made while Ryuki was away, Ryuki challenged the Captain to a duel and murdered him (and embarrassed his name)

Ryuki then started his own crew and got revenge on a village who had a hand in his friends death. When Ryuki came back to the Strawhats after a year and a half, Luffy was upset to find out about the killing spree and mutiny and they argued about it until Nami put her foot down and made a rule that they wouldn’t talk about Ryuki’s pirate life when he visits.

Ryuki attempted to start a crew but he had been cursed with bad luck because everyone seemed out to betray him. Very few members turned their back on him and when they would try to help him catch the ones who’d seem like they would stab Ryuki in the back, he always gave them the benefit of the doubt. Ryuki is extremely and deathly loyal. No matter how obvious an ally is out to get him, he does nothing unless they put a knife/bullet in him. Only then does he show them no mercy. Ryuki has lots of scars on his back (much to Zoro’s distaste) because of this

Guys, my sister opened my eyes recently so I changed my ocs whole world/story cuz I’m crazy

This is VV, now Monkey D Vienny, a Zolu ship kid

My sister convinced me to make her a Zolu kid and now that I’m hooked, I decided to redraw her and practice by drawing her in some of the arcs clothing

There’s a whole story as to how I ended up making Vienny a one piece oc and Zolu’s kid and you can read about it down below. I didn’t do too much to her original design to make her look like Zolu, I just adjusted things here and there to make it look like her being their child was intentional. I gave her a devil fruit cuz before all of this I did ask myself what Devil fruit she’d have if I could give her one

It’s called the Ban Ban Fruit aka the Pistol or Shot Shot fruit (idk if this already exists) and grants the user to “shoot” things with the strength and speed of a bullet, along with allowing them the ability to make anything they shoot combust.

For example, VV can use her blood as a projectile and when it hits someone, it can pierce through their flesh like a bullet along with explode as it hits its target

So:

I made this pirate oc a while back while binging Pirates of the Caribbean (and Fairy Tail) and while doodling her the other day, my sister looked over my shoulder and said, “Is that Zoro and Luffy’s lovechild?” And I looked at her confused and bewildered and said, “No, this is Vienny, remember? She’s a pirate princess.” SO MY SMART SISTER SAID, “Princess? Well isn’t Luffy king of the pirates? So she’s their daughter.”

My sister has never watched One Piece (she saw bits of the live action and the first time she saw Luffy and Zoro on screen she just said they were gay and told me to trust her) So obviously I think she’s delusional. But then she goes to tell me it would make sense for them to be GIRL dads instead of having boys (like I originally made them🥲) and the more she talked the more I sunk into this obsession so I guess my oc is now a one piece oc🤷‍♀️

Imma draw the boys too and I’m planning to keep them cuz they were my original Zolu kids (y’all know I love making ocs and especially ship kids)

I did three other character concepts but I couldn’t figure out how to place them beside Venus so I wanted to redraw them

Also, Scraps is no longer part of the crew, I am scrapping (no pun intended) his character. RIP my boy 😔

Venus was drawn separately because 1) she didn’t fit, 2) she doesn’t join the crew until later (along with everyone else I have to draw), 3) I want to draw the second half of the crew along side her since she technically sits at the “adult table” with the rest of the crew (whom are mostly adults)

I want to change some of the color schemes of the first half of the crew but I wanted to give their first color palettes a chance. Blosh isn’t pink enough tbh (I was inspired by Goldfish and Blossom from PPG) Rein’s green eye color fit with his old vibe but I think I may change it to red to fit in with his demon concept, I like the orange but I’m sold on deep red for Dani’s new color palette, I like the little earthy tones for Lille but being that her aesthetic is supposed to be seashells and Sweethearts, Imma add more off whites

Venus was also meant to be a winter demigod with a cold periwinkle blue hair color and a white polar bear fur outfit aesthetic

I still have to redesign the adults, but so far I’ve already drawn Eve (a deity and mother figure) and Jemma (sea-person bandit with a six year old son) there’s still the buff barbarian girl and old mercenary man (going under new name changes yay) and for the kids there’s still Leo, the twins, and Tuni

I got impatient and jumped into drawing mini comics for the Sunny crew (all which I haven’t finished) but after working on this one, I decided I had to lay out the concept art to grasp their designs better

The comic below is a wip for Senshi joining the Sunny crew as the only adult (23) in a club of children (ages 12-17) 💀

Also yea I misspelled Senshi’s name on accident

The curly haired boy is Dani and the one with the scar is Rein (they are co captains of the Sunny crew)

This is one of those character stories I make where I draw all the fun and games but it’s actually got a dark theme and a depressing narrative

Also fun fact: Senshi loves kids (not in a criminal way I must note because my sister said it sounds like he’s a pedo) he and his wife can’t have kids unfortunately and because he’s a pirate, he cannot legally adopt a child. Even if he and his wife would open their home to a child from sea, it wouldn’t stop the government or whoever from taking said child away (something that had happened to them) Senshi also adores things that are ‘cute’ and because he finds Dani to be the most adorable kid on the planet, Senshi babies and smothers him, much to Rein’s anger

Im still in the drafting phase of these characters so their designs will change, their stories, and their crew especially. I started with 28 characters for the crew, currently I have 9 on the roster

My inspiration for Momo’s (this guy) design was like cowboy dragon pirate so that’s what I made him. He’s also a runaway prince cuz why not 🤷‍♀️

Hey just wanted to let you know I LOVE your AFTG SPTO art. I don’t really have anything to add or say I just wanted you to know I really really really love it. It’s literally changed how I see the characters- when I was reading fanfics the other night I kept imagining them in that style it made it very enjoyable.

My sister had me draw Seth and Allison as Deuce and Cleo from Monster High

(I did a version wit glasses I just didn’t like it so imagine he can’t petrify her cuz of how powerful her bitchiness is)

Honestly everything was going fine until I realized I had to include the snakes somehow and I blanked cuz I picture Seth with like a buzz cut 💀
