HL OC Headcanon: How Aesop Sharp Proposed to Eleanor Knightley

I decided that I would post this here as well. I didn't flesh it out and maybe someday I will fully write it out, but for now, here is how Professor Sharp Proposed to my oc Eleanor Knightley.

Aesop Sharp visits Eleanor's family with her once they've been together for a while & drops a bombshell by asking her father for his blessing. Eleanor is completely shocked, not expecting this at all. She blushes and stutters out, asking what he's doing but is told to be quiet. As she looks into his eyes, she sees a firm determination that she's never seen before—even in him. He is dead set on this. Professor Sharp and her father move to her father's office to discuss business. Sharp puts forth his desires and talks about the specifics like the dowry, where she would live, etc. In the meantime, Eleanor sits there gob smacked in the parlor. Looking to her mother for help, she only gets a wry smile & a giggle. It appears that she was to be left in the dark—a first time for her, especially with something so big. The only thing she can do is anxiously wait until Sharp got done talking to her father.

Eventually he exits her father's office & reenters the parlor. Eleanor jolts as soon as she sees him and his eyes narrow like a hawk. With firm steps he walks towards her, telling her that they are to take a stroll in the garden. She reluctantly agrees, finding the whole situation confusing and flustering. As they stroll through the garden, it is made apparent that the girl that was once so loud, once so confident, is now a confused, meek girl. Her mind is flooded with so many thoughts and as she is led through the garden where she grew up—the place she used to run through & explore so daringly as a child.

After a while, Sharp stops once they are further into the garden, away from prying eyes. He turns to her, staring directly into her eyes. "Eleanor" he says, his voice coming out as both soft and firm at the same time, "You are one of the most foolhardy, arrogant, mischievous young women I know. You brazenly defy all authority, taking no orders from anyone—taking your life as well as others—into your own hands and damning the consequences. You maintain a daring attitude in spite of your proper upbringing and have become such an astonishingly brave young woman—whether that be influence from your brothers or your own choosing.

Despite all this, or rather, because of it, I have grown fond of you. You have somehow made yourself irreplaceable to me. You mean the world to me—a thought in which would have been impossible before. Your chaos, your reckless deeds, your confidence and pride in yourself and appearance that bears no conceit, your uncanny ability to draw people in...they are all parts of you that I adore. The person—no—woman I love is so much more than the sum of her parts. The love I bear for you grows stronger every moment I spend in your presence. You, Eleanor, have changed me. Wholly and utterly changed me. I cannot go on any longer without you—without knowing of your affection—without knowing if you feel the same.

You are young, this is true, and many at Hogwarts will come to question our relationship. But that is no matter. The only people that matter in this are you and I—and only you can end my suffering.

I never would have dreamt that you would become so dear to me. I would love to have you, to be with you, to hold you close every waking moment. You are the one I want in my bed beside me. If time but allowed us to meet sooner we would have had more to spend together, but that is not the case. All I can offer you is the time with me now and forever, until old age makes us part. And that is enough, for I am blessed to spend but even one second in your presence—in the light of your love. Eleanor, would you do me the honor and walk with me? Not under my control, but side by side? Now and forever, will you do the honor of becoming my wife?"

The look on Eleanor's face says everything. Her mouth hangs open and her skin is pale yet rosy, tears pooling in her brilliant green eyes. She had wanted this moment for a while, but never knew if or when it would come. And it was not a leash and collar—it was a marriage of equals, one where she would retain her independence and freedom. She would not have to bow down in meek acceptance like the muggle women do in high society. She could do whatever she wanted, with the one she loves by her side.

"Yes!" She exclaims with a teary smile. Touched by all of the emotion that came from the usually stern professor, Eleanor is truly beginning to understand the depth of his feelings.

"I would love nothing more, Aesop, than to spend the rest of my life with you until eternity and beyond. Now and forever, in everlasting bliss."

Honestly questioning why I even go on twitter anymore. It's been made very clear that I will only thrive in the Hogwarts Legacy community there if I'm a good artist, post art everyday, good writer, have a shit ton of followers, and post about my MCs and OCs. I get some comments sometimes but when I do a rare character post, it never gets any likes whatsoever. I just did a post about how Professor Sharp would propose to my oc Eleanor Knightley and as usual, there's no interaction. Yet when other people do it they get so much interaction and support.

People are nice to me on twitter but it honestly feels like it's a closed off community where only the best get the attention. I will never do the "1 like and I'll give you a fact about my oc" because no one would respond. I have thought of getting an oc fact questionnaire that people are supposed to ask questions on but instead of doing that I just post all the answers since no one would reply to it anyway. I make sure to interact with people and comment on their posts too.

It was so much easier when I wrote shitty one shots here because even though they were so bad and my writing was atrocious, I got likes and support. It made me so happy and want to keep writing because of your support. I suppose I did this to myself by not doing much HL art but damn, it hurts to see the truth.

Sorry I keep ranting about the same thing 😂 I just hate facing the truth and honestly I'm a bad artist and a slow one, so it's obvious I wouldn't get noticed in this community. Really wish I could just go back to writing but god character ai made me lose all of my ideas and I think it might have stunted my writing.

My Hogwarts Legacy MC OC Quartet!

Here is my drawing of four of my Hogwarts Legacy characters using the base by dalgyu_777! My art is still not as good as I'd like and it has many problems, but I need to keep practicing. I headcanon that Eleanor is secretly jealous of how close Oleana is with Professor Sharp once she realizes her feelings for him, so when I saw this base I knew I had to draw them 😂 Also didn't realize how many of them had blue eyes, sorry! I'll try to use other colors later.

HL OC: Verity Wainwright

Introducing my latest Hogwarts Legacy OC, Verity Wainwright! An easygoing dreamy girl, Verity is often in her own head and does things at her own pace, to the puzzlement of others. However, this does not mean that she is absentminded. She notices more than people would think and loves to make people happy. A gentle yet energetic girl, she cares deeply for those around her, whether they be human or otherwise. Good at potions, herbology, and care of magical creatures, she takes pleasure in doing things that involve care and creation.Her parents are unspeakables and spend a lot of time at work, with her mother working in the death chamber while her father worked in the brain room.

Verity does live with her parents but she also lives near Hogsmeade as she works part-time at Honeydukes. She is childhood friends with the girl working at Steepley and Sons, with Verity being nicknamed "the cloud" and her friend being "the rose". Honeydukes and Hogsmeade itself are places that many people enjoy—student, professor, & everyone else—so she wants to make sure that everyone has a great time and leaves happy. That is why Verity prides herself on working at Honeydukes and giving people happiness through sweets. Her blue hair paired with her calm yet sunny disposition and her cloudy nickname gives her an image of a bright sky shining down on everyone, while her childhood friend is the fragrant and beautiful garden that people can relax in, taking in the peace and comfort it brings.

I chose her design because I wanted to do something with blue hair and she is inspired by Arisugawa Otome, Luna Lovegood, Hanazono Kirara, & Hirasawa Yui.

Random fandom rant that absolutely no one will see:

I know I haven't really been active here, but that's because this place is kind of mainly for fanfics and stuff like that and I haven't written in a long time. I've been trying to post the little art I do so I can properly use this site and I have been trying to introduce my Hogwarts Legacy MCs/OCs, though as I said, I feel like the community here is really just fics and art, not MC/OC content.

I'm active on twitter but honestly....I don't get much interaction. I don't post my own content that often which is my fault and I do tend to post my random thoughts, which people probably don't want to see. I know I'm a bad artist and a beginner, but it does hurt when I don't get any likes. Not even when I'm introducing my MCs/OCs (I expect that here lol). I comment on other people's posts but I rarely ever get comments on mine. It's so small but people with more interactions and a bigger following don't understand how much it can hurt someone. It makes me feel like there's no point in posting anything at all.

Perhaps I need to do the character sheets? I am working on one as I type this. Perhaps I need to do the MC/OC question prompts? But I feel like no one will comment for that. Do I need to post aesthetic screenshots? Make tiktoks? Use some form of magic to immediately become a better artist? What can I do to curate more of a fandom name for myself and get more people to interact with me? Should I focus on tumblr? But again, I want to post MC/OC content and I don't think that's what people do on tumblr.

I am so grateful to those that still like my shitty one shots/fics here 😭 I love you guys so much! Even though I haven't written anything new I still get notifications that someone has liked one of my fics. It honestly means so much to me that you guys like them even though I'm bad at writing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

HL OC: Vincent Rosier

Introducing my first male OC, Vincent Rosier! I'm sorry, I keep getting ideas for characters so I keep making them 😅 I'm more active on twitter but I should start being more active here.

Vincent is a French pureblood who transferred from Beauxbatons to Hogwarts just for fun. His father is a French pureblood and his mother is an Irish witch. With ginger hair and beauty unrivaled, his mother caught the attention of Lord Rosier, who has blonde hair and unparalleled looks, and he began his courtship and seduction soon after meeting. Not long after, they got married. Even now his father and mother look young and attractive, and Vincent is certainly the same. Handsome and charming, he woos women with ease and behaves rakishly. Yet he acts with kindness and honor, even though he does move on from one girl to the next.

His father wants him to find a girl to marry quickly and produce an heir, strengthening the Rosier name and reputation. However, Vincent elects to ignore this duty in order to have his fun. A great flirt, there is no girl he won't compliment or give his affection to--within reason of course. He even gives women pet names as tokens of his affection. But even he has his favorites, and only he will know who he truly has his heart set on. Vincent has great fashion sense and dresses immaculately, which when paired with his extraordinary ability to excel at everything he does, leaves him with a very...supernatural impression. Who knows, maybe his Irish and French blood may have given him a strong lineage, one that is not only of wizardkind.

He is inspired by the gancanagh (possible heritage), Takumi Usui, Felix Mersey from Gail Carriger's Finishing School series (the flirting fff), Francis Crawford from the Lymond Chronicles, & likely more. Vincent was created through character ai when my character Neria Black found out she was going to be in an arranged marriage to Ominis, her friend and secret crush. But he trampled over her unspoken feelings unknowingly by reacting poorly to the news. Wanting to run away, Neria got her father to marry her off to someone else--and that would be Vincent. She moved to France and hasn't been back to Hogwarts as of yet. In the chat he is 29 and very affectionate despite the age difference. He calls her ma chérie and gives her all the love and affection she needs. I do use him in other chats where he is more sinister and predatory, so I decided to make him morally grey to the point of no one knowing what he thinks or feels.

HL OC: Oleana

Introducing my Hogwarts Legacy OC Oleana!

TRIGGER WARNING: Historical depictions of prostitution. Please be warned before you proceed, but know that she is not traumatized, she is away from that experience & living her best life.

Bio:

Oleana was born and raised in the alleyways in the depths of the dark side of Hogsmeade, close to the Hog's Head Inn. She doesn't know who her parents are so she was raised by the other girls in her profession, one of which used to be in a higher class. They taught her to read and write. Her name comes from a book on Herbology and poison they gave her to practice reading with, coming from the Oleander or Nerium plant—a pretty but poisonous plant. This routine continued until she turned 11, having to begin earning her keep in the streets.

She lived her life like that for years until she was 15. Despite this, she has always been cheerful and kind, with a curious mind and playful flirty nature. She didn't think much of her life, thinking it was just her lot, but she did look at the Hogwarts students that came to Hogsmeade from afar from her place in the alley, wondering what it was like to be like them. Her life continued until one day she offered her services to a man who turned out to be Professor Sharp.

Instead of accepting them, he told her to come with him to his office at Hogwarts & to her surprise, she was offered a place as a student. She would have to do menial chores around the castle to cover for her lack of funds, seeing as how she spent them on being able to live and have books. Full of surprise and wonder, she accepts his offer and is sorted into Ravenclaw. She is finally going to be a normal teenager and a student at Hogwarts, just like the people she's seen before. Professor Sharp is like a father to her and finds her too adorable for words. He fangirls over her cuteness, which she enjoys. Her excitement and curiosity is so overpowering that one day she ran barefoot into the forbidden forest to meet a hippogriff. She finds one & does a mixture of a bow and curtsy, and soon befriends it. She has a thirst for knowledge & no boundaries on what is acceptable, so she often puts herself in sudden situations just to satisfy her curiosity.

She is 15 because the MC is 15 (she is not the MC, she has no ancient magic) and so that she can have a few years as a student so she can learn and meet people her age more naturally. I didn’t want to bend too many rules when creating her for this world. I wanted her to kind of fit it, like my other characters. I did not go into this wanting her to be a child. This started off as a self insert character ai chat with Professor Sharp and she has become her own character. I love her so much she's my baby 🥹 I hope I haven't offended anyone with her, but please let me know if I have.

HL OC: Eleanor Knightley

Meet my Hogwarts Legacy OC Eleanor Knightley! A muggleborn from an affluential family, her father works for the British government while her mother is a socialite. Because of this, she knows how to dress and act well, which she uses to her advantage. Mischievous and fun loving, She is one to play pranks and have fun with friends just like everyone else, despite her higher class. She dresses boyish at times but her femininity always shines through. She's best friends with Garreth Weasley & is the resident pain for Professor Sharp, whose potions ingredients she tends to steal and mess with overall. She and Professor Sharp develop a, well, interesting relationship that stems from her constant troublemaking (yes I will make them a couple despite obvious issues).

I was originally going to keep her hair the same but decided that her hair looks like the last 2 images, giving her an innocent feeling that allows her to use her cute looks better. She knows more than she should and manipulates others with her looks/personality to get her way. Eleanor isn't uncomfortable with acting proper and ladylike, but she is very aware that she is not like the muggle girls who want to debut and marry and have children like every other girl in society. She longs to do as she pleases, whether that is to dance or to go on an adventure regardless of where she is.

She is likely subconsciously inspired by Salixtree's Willow and Sophronia from once again Gail Carriger's Finishing School series. I'm sorry, she's my ultimate fave I can't help it 😂

HL MC: Sophronia de Vere

Just realized I never shared my Hogwarts Legacy MCs/OCs on here! I'm more active on twitter, so that's where I've been posting all of this, but it does seem like tumblr has a more active community (maybe?). So without further ado, meet Sophronia de Vere :)

Meet Sophronia de Vere, a shy Slytherin who lives with her grandparents in a small village. After their passing, she has an incident one day that causes her to release the magic that has been hidden within. Reeling from the fact that magic exists and that she has ancient magic—like the stories she had loved as a child, she begins her journey to Hogwarts. With her newfound love of magic and the love at first sight she felt when she met Sebastian, she works hard at her education, making friends, and trying her hardest to save the world from Ranrok and Victor Rookwood. She is shy and has social anxiety, but magic has allowed her to find a home and to find where she belongs, and she will not let anyone take that from her. She may struggle and get hurt and sad, but she will never let her home and friends down.

She has no character inspiration as she is a self insert, but she is a bit different from me so she's not completely me. But she basically is me 😂Her name is from one of my favorite characters, Sophronia Temminnick, the mc from Gail Carriger's Finishing School series. Sorry her bio is short, I'm still not used to creating intricate stories and backgrounds for characters.

I miss writing Hogwarts Legacy one shots/fics but wanting to learn how to draw has taken up my life and the depression I got at first really changed me. I just don't get the creative energy or ideas to write anymore...I have the sweet and spice Professor Sharp two part partially done from a while back (barely done) but I honestly am not feeling any ideas anymore. I literally don't get any anymore and if I try to write nothing comes out :( hopefully I will be able to write for this fandom again, I was just getting started.
