Heya! this has been on my mind a few days now and I feel like sharing this with you. I recently started playing sdv for the first time and by the end of Fall of year two Krobus became my roommate. (I was a very happy aroace that moment) (That he moved in on a rainy day standing outside of the farmhouse while Robin built the stables right next to it is another story) but everytime he cooks me something I love to imagine him watching a tv cooking show and trying to replicate what they’re doing. Getting confused when there is nothing already prepared to pull out from somewhere and it takes him a few attempts to get it right. But he always gives the farmer his best attempt at cooking. (And ngl his food saved my bacon in the mines more than once.) I dunno just felt like sharing this with you. Have a nice day/evening and take care. 🐱

Aww this was so nice to read! Yes I love that he cooks for the farmer too despite it probably not being something he’s very familiar with. It’s sweet the effort he seems to put into learning about it.

What instruments do you think each of the bachelors play (even those we all ready see playing instruments) and why do you think they like those instruments?

Alex: Drums!! A workout AND he gets to let out stress? PERFECT! I am by no means saying that he is any good at it but it really helps him let out his stress. The thump of the bass as he slams the sticks down makes him feel amazing. To him it’s almost as good as working out (though nothing would beat working out or a game of Gridball).

Elliott: Piano and maybe even a harp? I feel like Elliot would be drawn to how soft and beautiful a harp can sound and want to learn simply to be able to hear the soft chime of the cords. It gives him this serene feeling that he makes him feel as if the sea of emotions in his chest has calmed. Sadly, he doesn’t get to play it as often cause his fingers can get pretty sore from writing all day.

Harvey: I see Harv as a more classical guy so maybe a piano or violin. He isn’t as good as Elliot but you can hear the passion in the music. A lil something he picked up as a kid. OR! GET THIS! He probably has some old vinyl records and while no not an instrument I thought it was a cute hc. He likes to listen to them as he looks up at the sky.

Sam: Guitar! Obviously, he loves the guitar! But he knows multiple different types! Ukulele, bass, electric, probably a lil bit of banjo. He just loves music! I wouldn’t put it past him to know a few other instruments too. Not enough to properly play full sounds but enough that he can belt a few good chords. It’s his way to express himself and his passion!

Sebastian: Synth! Seb loves the electronic sound and is soooooo good with it. He can get into some particularly hard songs BUT only ones that he really likes, otherwise he isn’t all that into the music. In a town like Stardew Valley there really isn’t much to do so it’s something he puts his time into but isn’t fully involved.

Shane: Trumpet! While I don’t see Shane as a band kid I do think that he would utterly love the sound of the band as he played his Gridball games. It really pumped him up and if he ever had to really pick up an instrument, trumpet would probably be his go-to.

MY MASTERPIECE IS DONE

I says to myself, "GIN it's time to challenge yourself, draw some flowers."

I got a bit carried away.

ADMISSION: I am enchanted by Elliott/Harvey. Faux confidence and easily frazzled is my favorite dynamic.

So this is inspired by a bunch of different fics! And I've written a cute one too!

Buuuuut this one depicts a scene from a fic I can't tell you about with a straight face because good golly it's filthy* except for these two who are pure and adorable.

This writer has made a deeply romantic and delightful burn for these characters. It's enhanced by Elliott and Leah as BFFs/clucking hens always after the hot goss.

It's so sweet that it's the scene I needed to depict. Leah is OF COURSE spying and she's totally gonna get endless material with which to harass Elliott with.
