skz + sage 5star moments (maknae line)

a/n: my apolo cheese for being absent. i do really want to continue writing for sage! i have so many ideas. as always, any requests are welcome! please leave them in my ask box :) if i get enough love i MIGHT do lalalala era version

jisung

jisung and sage do a vlog together so sages little series where she posts vlogs every few weeks. this days guest was jisung. every time you put these two together it’s absolute mayhem. literally in every video with jisung and sage they’re giggling, screaming laughing, it’s always happy-going with them. in this vlog it shows them going to practice, the convenience store and to the park. one of the highlights in this vlog is sage and jisung walking into the store and sage says “it’s on me, get whatever.” you can immediately see the sparkle in jisung’s eyes eyes. in subtitles she put “princess peter han~”. you can tell sage was getting worried the more and more jisung added things to the basket. she waited a little more to say “hey! i’m not made of money!” she scolded him. which made him laugh. you could tell he was doing it to mess with her. it didn’t matter because at the end they had a romantic picnic at the park with their snacks.

felix

this moment consist of felix and sage getting their makeup done next to each other. they were the last two to have their makeup done. because sage is a girl, her makeup takes a little longer than the rest of the boys. felix has this cute thing where when they’re getting their makeup done next to each other, felix will stay behind and talk sages ear off. sage took a time-lapse type of video, recording felix just talking, doing nothing just annoying miju. all she really did was nod and make small replies. it’s not that she didn’t like felix doing this, it just who sage is. she could be so interested in what you’re saying but she’ll give half-assed replies. minho gets on her ass a lot for it. she later posted onto her personal instagram the video and pictures she took of him next to her. she captioned it “yongbok? more like yongboring 😒”

seungmin

for this specific part of the mv, sage had to act surprised. for an odd reason it took sage a while to get it right. of course, seungmin found it soooo amusing. just from him staring at him with a grin, she could tell exactly what was going on in his head. this would go in a compilation of “seungmin staring at sage for 30 minutes”. oh he was evil, but she loved him. the camera man will go over to seungmin and he’s laugh to the camera, mocking sage’s attempts to act shocked. “she’s endearing.. but a little stupid.” this made stays be like “HUH?? JESUS HES SO MEAN TO HER”, but no this is just how sage and seungmin joke around. they’re brutal towards each other. later on when it was seungmin on camera and sage watching, she shook her head and sighed. “he’s really pretty, stay. but he’s horrible towards me. you should always love me more.” she joked with a straight face towards the camera.

jeongin

in the 5star concept pics, jeongin and sage were paired together. the visuals they gave were astronauts, intergalactic, out of the world. it had the members talking out it for weeks. went from “she’s so gorgeous!” to “miju where did the years go? you’re all grown up!” which she hears often… it drives her crazy. in the dressing room, jeongin left behind an expensive silver necklace. with a note from jeongin saying “for miju~ ♡”. of course jeongin checked with staff to make sure she can wear it during the photoshoot. of course she gave her best visuals in the photoshoot, as she always does. after the shoot her and jeongin went out to restaurant and sage still had the necklace on. later jeongin would post on his instagram a picture of his kiss-stained cheek and the culprit? son miju.

so basically the day this album came out my best friend was spamming me about them and i only listened to them like 2 days after cuz she was annoying me about it and OH MY GOD. i listened to them and then proceeded to loop the whole album for the next 72 hours 💗 and for a debut as well is amazing ily illit girlies

♡ 3. with you-th, twice

so i wasn't much of a fan at first bc they just sounded really similar and bland to me but its grown on me a lot since it came out and i've been listening to it so much throughout the entirety of march. its just so oddly comforting in a way and feels like a hug in music form (+ rush and bloom are the best songs argue with the wall)

♡ 4. easy, le sserafim

self explanatory. i'm obsessed with le sserafim at the moment and this album is everything to me. ass shaking album 10/10

i have been revisiting one of my fav albums of all time this month and its as amazing as always. this has been my favourite album of all time since it came out and i will never ever get over k12 🩷 10000/10!!!! <3

Hello!! A brief(ish) recap before the actual list. It’s been a pretty wild year in wingsland, mostly thanks to finishing up my second master’s degree in December (finally, BYE!). Looking back, I’m surprised at how much content I actually created, but this has been a refuge and source of comfort for me while running on fumes between work and school and general adulting. 2023 also marked some changes in my listening and sources of inspiration. I fell more out of interest with txt (apologies to all followers who were here for them… this is the second time this has happened, oops?) but fell even more in love with Monsta X while discovering some other new or new-to-me artists (more on that in another post). Reason was my first official comeback with them, and it really lit a fire in my brain. I have a few ongoing series that I intend to continue, whether they’re gifs or audio compilations. I giffed a LOT of besties (minhyuk + hyungwon, the soulmates of soulmate besties). It brings me so so much joy to work on those sets and the various audio edits or just being excited about musical details in my music box tag. I also managed to squeeze in a few angsty mv sets along the way, because tbh I feel like I am thriving most as a creator when something is pulling at the heartstrings. I know mbbblr has been quiet lately (and must seem exceedingly so to those who were around years ago), but I will keep being noisy about them until mx6 is reunited and beyond. Thank you for sticking around with me ♡

SUMMER TIME HIGH TIME, summer time with txt ♡

- it’s hot outside and the only thing you want to do is make memories with your favorite boy !

- activity: cafe hopping and shopping!

- listen there’s nothing this man loves more than fashion and an iced americano on a hot day

- since the heat has just begun this calls for a shopping spree and he wanted to take you with him to spoil you with one as well

- “yeonjun-ah, you don’t need to do this i have my own money” “yeah but you only like to spend it on other people or our merch”

- yeah he got you with that one

- makes sure to pay attention to your body language

- ex. if you start unintentionally sighing, he’ll suggest sitting somewhere for a quick rest but if he notices your attitude completely change he’ll suggest going back home

- buys literally everything you touch with interest, defo buys something matching

- you guys leave the shopping center with so many bags in hand, yeonjun carrying them all of course

୨⎯ SOOBIN ⎯୧

- activity: ice cream date indoors!

- soobin is an introvert and any chance he gets he’s gonna stay inside, especially on a hot day

- “binnie it’s so nice outside! we should go enjoy the day!”, then he looks at you with puppy eyes “but i already set up the kitchen to look like an ice cream shop and bought a bunch of different flavors!”

- how could you say no to him?

- when you walk into the kitchen, behind the island is kai in the same outfit he wore in the loser lover mv, “hello welcome to kai’s ice cream shop! what could i get for you?”

- it takes everything in you not to laugh, the boy just looks so cute you wanna pinch his cheeks

- soobin leads you forward to look at the choices of ice cream, there are only two flavors, your favorite and his

- you both request your flavors and take your bowls to the table,, “i’m gonna leave now but let me know if you guys need anything else!” hyuka says leaving you two to yourselves

- once he’s out of view you finally let go of the laugh you’ve been holding in, “how did you convince him to do this?” “let’s just say i owe him a new plush”

୨⎯ BEOMGYU ⎯୧

- activity: late night drive singing your fave songs!

- hopping into the car with your favorite blanket in hand and beomgyu throwing the bag of snacks into your lap while climbing into the drivers seat, you settle in comfortably

-before putting the car in drive he puts on his playlist dedicated to these kinds of nights with you

- these songs range anywhere from musicals to txt’s own songs, but mainly including songs you love to hear him sing

- rolling down your windows feeling the cool summer’s eve breeze as beomgyu drives to nowhere you breathe in the feeling

- even though beomgyu is chaotic as shit moments like this with him are the ones that take away your worries and stress the most

- depending on the song, you usually don’t sing much, you’d rather listen to his calming and deep voice

- as the night progresses, you both begin to climb your sugar high and those calming moments before become the chaotic ones you’re used to

- “GYU PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD WERE GONNA CRASH” “IM SORRY BUT HOW COUKD YOU NOT HEAD BANG TO THIS SONG??”

- activity: swimming!

- taehyun’s favorite activity is swimming and the moment you decide to come with him he’s even more eager to get in the pool

- wether or not you decide to get in the pool, he still enjoys your company and never pressures you to get in though he will splash you here and there

- “y/n?” “sorry what?” yes, you zoned out checking him out, what else did you expect 🤷🏽‍♀️

- he reminds you of a little kid as he swims around with the biggest smile on his face

- now if you do decide to get in, he’d be so excited ready to show you any cool things he could do under water

- if the members did come along it’d be a chicken fight almost immediately, no doubt

- wether he’s on your shoulders or the other way around you guys stick together as a team to beat the other boys

- eventually the other boys get sick of the water and get out saying something about feeling like a prune

- “hey tyun, wanna play mermaids?” he does a quick sweep of the area making sure no members are near, “i’d love to play mermaids y/n”

- activity: drive in movie theater!

- kai is so bf!! the car you take is a borrowed suv and kai decorated it so aesthetically pleasing with plushies, blankets and pillows everywhere (100% looked on pinterest for inspo)

- you guys brought your own snacks and drinks and he somehow managed to hide a mini cooler in the seats????

- the movie you guys chose to watch was a horror movie so every jumpscare had kai hiding behind you

- “kai why did you choose a scary movie if you don’t like them?” “it was the only movie that looked interesting! i didn’t think it’d scare me this bad!”

- the suv is so comfortable you both actually end up falling asleep during the movie, only waking up to the sounds of the other cars starting up to leave

- “i can’t believe we slept through the movie” “i know, we should just have a sleep over in the back of the car”, that’s when you both look at eachother

- the next morning, you wake up to the rest of txt’s members knocking on the windows of the car interrogating you both as to why you fell asleep in the suv

Do honorifics seem kind of silly? Well, besides the formality of them, they could work for anyone who might view them as a status. Fictives might have a certain ranking or status from their source. Otherkin might see their species as having some kind of required rank or formality based on the culture. Nonhumans in general might want to do away with any honorifics that refer to them as human, gendered or not. I think they could be useful and fun! 💙💚

Some example sentences below:

"This is Nr. Apollo and xe are visiting the local college to talk about xer experiences as an agender person. Have you been to one of xer lectures? I love to listen to xem talk. Go check out Nr. Apollo when you get the chance."

"Doesn’t work."

"I'm telling you it works. I'm not doing this for the first time."

"Then why isn't it blinking?"

"What is not blinking?"

"The light in the camera."

"It only blinks when it's charging." Bang Chan ostentatiously sighed and smiled apologetically at the camera, while Chichi sitting behind him on the couch, equally ostentatiously, drank iced coffee from a straw, slurping loudly. Chan just closed his eyes to it ("that kid...").

"Hyunjin must have gotten lost." Chichi took out the phone from the crack in the sofa and unlocked it.

"He’s not lost, he forgot he was coming at all." Chan replied by clicking the computer mouse.

"You forgot yourself." Hyunjin grunted as he opened the door and stepped inside. He had the same iced coffee as Chichi, so now they were both slurping happily.

"Just sit down now." He shook his head like a tired father and clicked something one last time as Hyunjin sat down on the couch next to Chichi. "We can finally start! Episode 124, today’s special episode with Hyunjin-AlwaysLate and Chichi-ICan'tOperateTheCamera."

They both gave him the most appraising look in the history of glances. Chan obviously didn't care and continued.

“A few days ago, the music video for Red Lights was released. Despite heated discussions, many different opinions, despite interesting arguments on both sides, it was decided that-"

"You just made us come here and watch it." Chichi interrupted him and then took a sip of coffee. "We had to really hold back not to watch it the whole time and hold off until live."

"Because STAY asked! Who am I to refuse them?"

Ichi lifted the cup gently like Leonardo di Caprio as a sign that she accepted his explanation. She and Hyunjin waited patiently for a few moments before Chan turned on the video. He leaned back comfortably in his chair and moved back a little, closer to the other two.

"I can't watch it already." Chichi covered her face with a pillow, but Hyunjin took it from her without much problem and threw it behind the couch.

After the first scenes, which include the introduction of Hyunjin, Chan and Chichi with chains, it's time for her first solo scene - Chichi is walking around the table, the boys don't seem to notice her, as if she is invisible to them. She runs her hand across the table as she walks from Hyunjin to Chan. She then sits alone on a huge bed in a dark bedroom and twirls a fork in her hand, taken from the dining room, discreetly in the previous scene. At the words "there's no other way", she breaks it in half like it's not made of metal at all.

Chichi squeals in embarrassment, swinging her legs and hiding her face in hands, to which Hyunjin hits her with the pillow he previously took and threw away from her (well, he recently picked it up). Chan chuckled softly and paused the video.

"What does this fork even mean? Why did you take the fork from us, thief?"

"Yeah, you're repurchasing us the fork!" Hyunjin called out and slapped her one more time, to which she finally uncovered her face.

“So… fork means making a change that will benefit you. So I figured it would make sense to show it since the character I'm playing was having fun with your characters’ love." She worded carefully what she wanted to say. The idol's life has already taught her that under no circumstances can she say anything directly, let alone use mental shortcuts - they can be misunderstood.

Chan nodded with his hand on chin.

“Really well thought out, I like it. But in the end you broke it."

"I broke it in two because there were two of you."

Chan and Hyunjin made loud noises of understanding before the leader turned the video back on. It gets a little livelier with the dance scene, first Hyunjin with Chichi and then Chichi with Chan. At this point, the three of them began to cover themselves and make strange, unidentified noises of shame.

"No, but--!" Chan started awkwardly, but only Hyunjin was able to continue.

"It's just that..." However… No, he fell silent too.

Chichi drank her coffee nervously and swallowed it silently.

“It's just that ... I don't think we've ever danced while being so close. In this way…"

"Which way?!" An embarrassed Hyunjin called out, but the slap Chichi received from him on the knee was certainly not shy.

"In a sexy way!" Chan exclaimed, as if forgetting that he himself had been burning with shame a moment ago.

"I meant sensual!"

"And isn't it the same?" Hyunjin asked, stubbornly digging into the subject.

Bang Chan laughed loudly as he slowly laid his head on the desk. Chichi blushed at that moment as she looked at Hyunjin.

"Human bodies don't always have to be sexy." She only stuttered, to which Chan raised his head and so that the silence would not last too long, he resumed the video.

In the next solo scene, Chichi slowly walks from her bed to the mirror, places her hand slowly on it, and moments later sees a fast-moving shadow in the reflection. She turns her head sharply from the mirror. ("I really wanna know, I've already lost control") Chan pauses the video.

"What was that supposed to be?!" He chuckled as he pulled his beanie cap slightly over his forehead.

"Your roommate." Hyunjin patted his shoulder and Chichi gave a short laugh as she resumed the video herself.

In the final part of the music video, Chichi is tied up with a black, not red, rope during her part and doesn't even try to get out of it - an indication that she has already tried unsuccessfully may be smudged eye makeup. Later, during Chan and Hyunjin's lines, Chichi makes jerky movements in bed, trying to wake up from a nightmare. When she finally succeeds, she walks over to the mirror, damp with sweat. At first glance, everything looks normal until she pushes her long blonde hair back from neck. Then she sees a strong red and most genuine strangling mark ("You know I can't leave you alone"). And this mark caused a real storm of reactions. Chichi howled loudly, almost like crying, Hyunjin covered his mouth silently, and Chan hid his eyes completely under his hat and blindly turned off YouTube, moving further away from the desk. Despite the dramatic reaction, he was the first to come back to life and start reading chat comments, while the other two hadn't even started coming back to life yet.

"What's with this mark, why are you so panicked?" Chan deliberately chose this comment and read it aloud as he looked at his two shy babies. If looks could kill, the look Chan received from Hyunjin would definitely knock him out. Chichi peeked at them from behind her hands, trying to bring herself to previous state.

"So... the thing is..." Hyunjin pressed his lips into a thin line as he listened to her to hold back a laugh. “The thing is… We're professionals, right? So that handprint had to be professional as well.” Chichi thought that once she started talking it would only be easier, unfortunately she was wrong and very much so - but now there was no turning back. “So to make it as realistic as possible, the make-up artist suggested that…”

And here Chichi stopped, covering her mouth with hand. She couldn't explain it, but just remembering that day made her feel strangely warm enough to want to open the window. She felt herself blushing and her heart speed up significantly - with all these symptoms she felt like the heroine of a cheesy teenage romance novel, but she couldn't control it.

“She suggested that Hyunjin should just paint his hand!” Chan called. Hyunjin, guessing what the rest of the explanation would look like, kicked Chan's ankle with all his might, but it didn't stop him, didn't even make him hesitate. "And then he grabbed Chichi's throat with that painted hand..." Chan slowly grabbed his wrist with his fingers imitating Hyunjin's hand and Chichi's throat. “…to get the perfect mark.”

Chichi couldn't utter a word. She was shocked at how easy it was for Chan to tell all this! And without embarrassment, where just a second ago he himself was one big ball of shame! Hyunjin didn't say anything either. He just smiled with the corner of his lips as he looked at the comments - looking at them, not reading them, because it was impossible, considering the speed at which they were appearing now. Without reading a single one, however, he knew that Stayville had gone mad and will be on fire in just few moments.

Idk if you like looking at the mv process gifs ahead of time, but as The Kazui blog I follow I was wondering your thoughts on the new gif of him 👀

I always look at the process gifs ^3^ i usually avoid looking at the shortened mv (or try to) beforehand but this time i will be since i need to be as prepared as possible for the day of reckoning, but i probs wont post about it. ANYWAY. Obvs spoilers below cut

SAME OUTFITS ^^^^^^^^^^ wedding fit so cool

Kazui looks basically the same as he normally does which is interesting, I'm guessing their marriage was more recent then i originally assumed? Either that or he's looked 39 since he was in his 20s,, hot anyway he looks pretty happy n cute :> i wonder at which point in his life he started faking everything. Was he genuine here and started faking later on? Or did he get married because he was 'supposed to'? I keep thinking of the Half line "What i gave up a long time ago, why is it questioning me now?", but tbh that could point to either ideas being true

If he's in his wedding fit in the thumbnail with the dove, and he's meant to be like a cat, and doves represent love (among other things), I assume he sees himself as the one who killed the genuine love in their relationship, as well as the one who killed Hinako (not literally killed but. the reason for her death). Hinako looks rlly pretty here RIP

HE'S SO ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ LOVE HIM. He's so sad ♡ but also kinda fucked up looking... how every man should be i think. He's in his depression fit from Half, but he's not in the theatres. Atleast I'd assume not since he's smoking, ig he probably doesn't have to follow standard theatre rules when its all in his mind... but I'm assuming not!! The only other time we see him wear this in Half outside his little headspace is on the blurry screen at the end where he's arguing with Hinako, so I'm guessing we'll get to see more of his relationship decline and break down, instead of the dull already rocky relationship we get in Half.

We never see him drink at home so this is probably at the bar 👍 I'm guessing its when Hinako meets him at the bar and confronts him since I can't think of any other scene that we've seen so far that'd make him dramatically drop his glass like this, but maybe it's something else. Maybe he's dropped it while thinking about how shitty his life is. Maybe bar girl dropped it. Idk! It's pretty full so i doubt he's just like super drunk or something

when did you discover them?

ateez: january '23 stray kids: between january and febuary '23, but not long after ateez (although i technically saw and heard the debut song ages ago and only connected once i saw it again in '23)

which member sparked your interest?

ateez: oh god, it was halazia era and mv, so all of them, ngl, i don't think there was one in particular. stray kids: felix, bc the first thing i saw was MAMA stage and him singing MANIAC with black hair and i was like: "what is this man's voice?" so yeah, felix def.

who was your first bias?

ateez: hard one, but i'm gonna say san, yunho or mingi, i can't really remember. stray kids: felix and hyunjin for sure, i dont remember which one tho, but it was one of the two (or both).

ateez: all of them, but i have to admit, i have a soft spot for san and yunho the most, but i will say san ult. stray kids: this is actually hard, bc just like ateez i'll say all of them, but i do have a soft spot for danceracha and accept my fate as minho ult.

no bc, one: stray kids have never been to my country. two: when ateez came i didnt have money (and it was super expensive since i had to take a plane and pay for a place to stay and everything) and my mom only found them (became an atiny) after kcon '23, and she only then went like: "we could go see them if they ever come" and i told her they'd be here in like a week, so we watched the show from someone's live and that was when my mom accept her fate of being an atiny.

hii lil sis, when it comes to art, i wanna introduce one of the fav mv's of mine ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

it was directed by a taiwanese team and they've incorporated 12 paintings (+ other hidden art references) in this vid & have given each painting a whole new meaning through the smooth transitions,

eg: Van Gogh’s ear is bitten by Mike Tyson; when the girl in the Gleaners looks up, she becomes the Girl with A Pearl Earring; the two men in black at the end of the bridge in the Scream by Edvard Munch are actually MIB, and they scream because they see the big monster in the painting of Dali; and the man in suit sitting with his back to us in the lonely café of the last painting Nighthawks, is Dali, etc.

if you're interested, they have a subbed behind-the-scenes explaining how they came up with this mv overall ♡♡♡

Ohhhmyylorrrd THIS IS A MASTERPIECE! Where had I been sleeping for this long to never have come across this before!

The transitions, yes, those are super smooth, and I loved how an element was used to carry it away to the another scene, just like the missile is shot, and like the apple goes falling down. The girl with pearl earring, the scream (ft. MIB) and Van Gogh's self portrait, now that is what is called ART, and they really very well know how to incorporate it. Also the fact the mv ended exactly where is began from, and how it initially zoomed into the frame with Dali who comes after his own painting, and then zooms out to the same scene with the singer on the phone! Perfect!

I feel like this mv can be rewatched for hours and hours and each there would be a unique perception about it! Also loved the line, Life goes on and on, I won't cry for long~

BTS Chronicle - You may have noticed I took some creative liberties regarding what is listed as the “Dynamite Trilogy” on this website. Though I acknowledge that the three English singles served a purpose across the pandemic in 2020-2021—for the sake of this set and per my own understanding of these releases—I personally chose not to lump them all together as its own era/trilogy considering Dynamite was, in fact, an introduction to the BE era (and included on said album) while Butter and Permission to Dance were sold together on its own separate physical mini album the following year. I hope you’ll understand my thought process behind this and my decision to include Dynamite with the BE era, in addition to considering Butter/PTD its own era in and of itself.

From School era—MOTS era, I hope the way I’ve curated each panel makes sense in that the profile photo and story highlights of each “account” correlates to the final studio/compilation album within its era. Instead of having its own “post”, the top of the page represents the last release and overall profile. Eras with more than one mini/studio album are mentioned as a bullet point list in the “description”, while eras with one studio album have a lyric from one of its title tracks. Although real Instagram posts are shown in reverse order from newest to oldest as you scroll down, each release here is shown in chronological order from top to bottom to make it easier to understand and with the intention of the eye circling back up to the profile photo for the final release.

From BE—Proof, with fewer music videos and mini albums to include, some improvisation was necessary to encapsulate those eras during the pandemic. For example, BE and Butter each have less than nine songs, so their “post count” being 8 and 2 respectively wouldn’t have made sense with a visibly nine post grid. So I simply added seven to those numbers to max it out. The “posts” themselves consist of the corresponding music videos of each album, big career moments, behind the scenes footage, promotional TV appearances, or concerts.

Furthermore, I made the extremely difficult decision to exclude BTS’ Japanese releases from this set due to lack of room and not wanting to gloss over their incredible Japanese music by trying to shove them all into one panel or awkwardly squeeze them into their respective eras. I thought about making individual panels for their Japanese compilation albums, but I wanted the concept of this set to stick to era-per-panel as opposed to specific albums. I mean no disrespect to that body of work as some of my favorite songs by BTS are from their Japanese discography. For this reason, please look forward to a separate set entirely dedicated to BTS’ Japanese work in the future!

This project gave me an even better understanding of BTS’ work during Chapter 1 of their career and I hope this Instagram inspired layout helps put it into perspective for anyone else who might be new to their music. However you categorize their eras is completely up to your own interpretation and this set is simply a reflection of how I see it in my head, not a definitive way of looking at it. You are not obligated to agree with the way I arranged this set, that’s okay! Any mistakes are entirely my own. I have plans to continue this series as Chapter 2 proceeds to roll out with the members’ respective collabs and solo albums, so stay tuned!
