✨Astro Observations✨
The Water Houses🦀🦂🎏
8th House Moons have every intense emotions. They may have been told that they’re detached because of how guarded they are. However, it is only because they value intimacy and trust and are afraid of their feelings being invalidated. They are also selective on who they give themselves sexually to, this is because they are sensitive and know that their body is sacred and so is their emotional well being. They may also unintentionally perform sex magic, due to their partners being a bit obsessive over them and vice versa. This placement can also indicate power struggles with mother or maternal figures. They are also naturally intuitive and may be interested in the occult/mysticism. This placement is very much like a Scorpio Moon, betray them and get ready to feel their sting.
Leo in the 12th House natives are powerful, however because they are unaware of this they may not realize this until later on. This is because the 12th House is the house of the Subconscious. They may also be insecure as well unaware of the power and beauty they possess.
4th House Mercuries tend to be the therapy friend of the group, this is because they not only listen to respond. They know how to pick up emotions through communication and know just what to say and when to say it. They may also be emotionally manipulative be cause of this. They are very much sweet talkers and value deep, intimate and emotional conversations. Easy people to open up to because of how nurturing they are when it comes to communication.
8th House Mars are very passionate in the things they do, whether it be work, love, family and friends. They are intensely loyal to their friends, family and significant others, and take betrayal to to the heart. They will cut you off without hesitation and act like they never knew you if they ever see you randomly on the street. This placement is also territorial and will protect those they love until their last breath. They may also go through hardships in life, but like the Phoenix they come out of the ashes fully transformed. Also good at spotting shady individuals, this is because they are emotionally perceptive.
4th House Placements are very family oriented, this is because the 4th house is associated with family and ancestry. They may also live in the past or hold deep memories even if the memories are painful. They may also be well loved in the family, I notice this often in 4th House Suns.
Heavy 12th House placements have a dreamy look to them. They tend to have their head in the clouds and day dream a lot. Their energy may also be heavy and draining to others, they are like the ocean, you can either swim, or drown around them.
12th House Placements and 8th House Placements I’ve noticed to have sleep paralysis from their childhood up to their teenage years, sometimes even adulthood. This is because they are able to access the astral realms easily in their dreams, due to both houses dealing with mysticism and the occult. Whereas the 4th house is more ancestral, they may be visited by loved ones that have passed on in their dreams.
All three houses can possess natives with Psychic abilities. Especially, if personal planets prevail.
Saturn in 4th House can indicate a structured home where Mother is strict, can even indicate a karmic relationship with Mother. Can also indicate hardships within the home.
That is all I have for now Astro Babes, I hope you guys enjoy this post.
Much Love 💕

Since I'm in the Helluva Boss Mood, I'm going to talk about something that I hope doesn't get me crucified.
I.ABSOLUTELY. HATE. THE .STOLYTZ.
Although I only realized this year.
If we go for the bases, we go with the bases.
✨NEITHER OF THE TWO KNOWS THE BASICS OF A STABLE RELATIONSHIP✨
Stolas was put in an arranged marriage as a child, having an EXTREMELY absent father and living in a turbulent relationship (which became abusive at times, with quiet moments but well, I don't think it would last long) with Stella. We are not told that Stolas has tried to be unfaithful in the past, so Stolas has no REAL EXPERIENCE in HEALTHY relationships to enter into one.
Blitz is much worse in this regard. He had an alcoholic father who left him in the background ALL the time above his best friend, and having to take care of his mother. He accidentally causes an accident that ends up killing his mother, leaves his best friend disabled, his sister hates him, etc.
Blitz, unlike Stolas, did have more relationships before him, but we know that they all ended BAD, especially VEROSIKA (there are even hints that she wanted to help him with his bad situation but he pushed her away) and as such it only did more harm than good .
all this without counting episode 1/season 2
Stolas clung TOO much to the good memory he had of Blitz, but to him it didn't mean HALF of what it meant to Stolas (since he already had positive things in his life like his sister, his mother and Fizz) so what? What does an adult with zero knowledge of healthy affection and ZERO experience in real relationships do? HE MANIPULATES TO GET WHAT HE WANTS.
Which brings me to my second point.
✨THE IMBALANCE OF POWER✨
If we ignore the fact that Imps are considered the lowest race in hell (because like all forms of racism, it is STUPID reasoning) even so the biggest red flag is the huge imbalance of decision-making power that exists in the relationship.
Blitz only wanted Stolas' book, HE REALIZED and what did he do? HE MADE A SEXUAL "ARRANGEMENT"(ABUSE, BC THE SEX CAN'T NEVER EVER BE A COIN TO TREAT WITH)WITH BLITZ TO GIVE HIM HIS BOOK (which HE KNEW HE NEEDED) ALL IN ORDER TO GET CLOSE TO HIM.
This is a monumental ABUSE OF POWER by Stolas! because at the end of the day he is the one who decides whether he gets the book or not (he knows it is VITAL for his work, WHAT HE LIVES ON) AND he tries to excuse it with the fact that it is a "way to spend time with him" EXCUSE ME !?!?
First of all, how the hell was Blitz supposed to realize that Stolas "loved" him if in episode one they literally had to censor everything that Stolas wanted to do in bed with Blitz? (and it's like that until chapter 6-7 where he begins to act more affectionately)
THERE ARE A THOUSAND WAYS TO INVITE SOMEONE OUT AND YOU HAD TO CHOOSE THE MOST ASSHOLE AND TOXIC ONE OF ALL. Abuse of power, control, poor communication, THERE'S EVERYTHING HERE, I'M IN CHERNOBYL!
AND IT'S NOT EVEN THE WORST.
Just because! There are toxic relationships that are fine to show on screen, especially in this case, gay/lesbian couples are rarely put under a toxic air, so there was A LOT to take away.
but the WORST thing is how ROMANTICIZED IT IS and as if BY FORCE they want you to 1) feel sorry for Stolas/get angry with Blitz or 2) that you SHIP THEM...
WHAT
Look, I like both characters, their stories are interesting and I like their personalities. the episodes focusing on JUST ONE of them are very good, but that's the point.
✨THE QUALITY DECLINES EVERY TIME THEY ARE TOGETHER ✨
Stolas is much more likable when he's being the prince of hell who's going through a turbulent divorce, dealing with his teenage daughter who he adores, singing songs to said daughter, helping other Demon Lords (I'm looking at you Asmodeus), etc.
Blitz seems much happier being with Millie and Moxxie killing people, talking about Loona, doing his job, getting into trouble with humans and being a complete bloodthirsty.
BOTH SHINE BRIGHTER BEING SEPARATED, NOT TOGETHER.
If you ignore the whole romance thing, they are good characters, but they forcefully want to introduce this drama...
ahg....it's late, I have school tomorrow, don't kill me for my honest opinion. If I think of anything else I'll edit it.
love ya❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello! It's your HEX gifter here. I've received your requests and am very intrigued by them. Before I start creating my gift, I have a couple questions-
1) I'd love to know more about how you see young Luna's characterization before she became Queen, ie. her time at Alfea. How did her and Farah become friends and then something... more?
2) In the pairings of Saul/Andreas, Beatrix/Stella and Luna/Farah, which of the pair makes the first move?
Awaiting your answers patiently, dear Hex-ee!
Hello !! ✨
I was SO pleased to receive your ask! Your questions are so good, I had to give it some good thought before answering, thank you so much for them!
Now that I’m done typing my answer, I realise the need to add a “read more under the cut” thing because lord did I get carried away! I’m so sorry, but thank you so much for the questions, it was a really nice opportunity to just think about all this! 😁
To answer your first question, I’ve always seen Luna as being a bit reckless and mischievous in her youth. In a striking contrast with the cold manipulative monarch she had to/chose to become. I love the idea that as she was crowned Queen of Solaria, the weight of responsibility and the imperative to play these political games represented a real rupture with who she used to be. And I’m not saying that she’s not enjoying these games or didn’t choose to follow the rules, she did, and if there’s one thing we know for sure about Luna it’s that she loves power. I just enjoy the idea that now, power is all she has because she had to sacrifice so much to get there (her past friends), she doesn’t know how to be anything else than the manipulative greedy control freak queen she’s become (hence her abusive relationship with her daughter).
Back to how I think she was before and not how she is during canon-time!
Reckless and mischievous, so, but only with those she trusts. She still has a reputation to maintain, and just like Stella is an extension of who she is, she was an extension of her mother, and I assume the obsession with keeping up appearances didn’t suddenly start with Luna. So, as a teenager, she had to handle being the perfect daughter, perfect student, perfect future heir, with her desire for more freedom and less burdening duties.
In my mind, she was pretty competitive, especially with Farah. We know Farah is a very powerful fairy, and it’s easy to guess Luna is too. When I was doing some thinking about their time at Alfea, considering what we learn about Rosalind in S2 and her teaching methods, I thought it would make sense if Rosalind had given both of them private lessons, using them against each other as she was feeding an unhealthy competition for her validation.
So, to me, Farah and Luna’s dynamic had to start with a rivalry to make sense with the scenes we had in S1 with Luna abusing her authority to prove Farah wrong (which truly felt like a 3 years old move, she was just missing the blowing raspberries part for it to be perfect!). Especially because from what we see of Farah, she’s very reserved, doesn’t trust easily (although that could just be the result of Rosalind’s years of abuse and she might have been super extraverted as she was younger…), has very strong opinions based on her core values, I can’t imagine a setting in which she could have enjoyed Luna’s company from the get-go. Or at least, her public persona. But as they’re facing Rosalind’s abuse together, they get to see another aspect of each other. They’re companions of misery, in some way, the only one they can trust to understand what it is like to be abused by Rosalind for the sake of becoming more powerful.
That’s dark though… I’m a bit of an angsty person, some could absolutely confirm this!
But yes, I think they became friends eventually, when they first tried to regain some power over their lives. You know, a bit as a fuck you to Rosalind. You tried to make us hate each other so you could use this hatred against us? Well, too bad! And from that point, they get to discover each other better, behind the surface of what is shown to the rest of the world.
But then, I don’t have an idea on how they might have fallen in love. Perhaps it happens just like that and eventually one of them realised it was more than friendship. I love the idea that their friends (Saul, Ben, Andreas, why not Rose) all knew and kept teasing them about it but they were two idiots stuck in denial.
And now, to answer your second question, before my answer to the first one was awfully long, I am VERY sorry about this but I’ve done a lot of thinking about Luna and her past. Just to give you an idea, I had a timeline that went back to her grandfather’s coronation in 1943 just so I could work out some details on her mother’s characterisation…
So, the second question ! I’ve been trying to decide which one of these three pairs is easier for me to start answering for a good five minutes now and that’s not going well.
I think for Saul/Andreas, it would most likely be Andreas because Saul and his “soldiers live alone” speech could hint at the fact he accepted this truth for quite some time and I can easily imagine him being 100% fine with just pinning in silence. Also because I think Saul would be a big overthinker and it could paralyse him more often than not, while Andreas seems more like an act first, think later kind of guy.
Stella/Beatrix, I can easily imagine something like they both prepared something for the other, for a big declaration, around the same time which will lead to them arguing over and over again about who made the first move. But it was probably Stella because behind Beatrix’s supposed self-confidence, we see how insecure she is. And Stella would probably go out of her way to make her feel loved. And even when she’s being a bit cheesy, Beatrix secretly adores it!
Which leaves me with Farah/Luna and, really, I have no idea. None of them strike me as being romantic in a cheesy kind of way so I don’t think any of them would make a big thing of making the first move. I just can’t tell if any of them would be shy about it, or bold, who would be brave enough to make the first move… I don’t think I can come up with something here!
After quite a long answer, I’d be really curious to know what your answers to your second question would be! 😁
Thanks again for the great questions!!
I hope you had/are having a nice day! ❤️

tell me your lux's thoughts on sylas 😊
headcanons ✨ original lore
first and foremost, what's most important in my interpretation of lux is that i wholeheartedly believe she's been visiting sylas in prison for more than a year. reportedly — she was nineteen (and turned twenty) in the comics, but i don't agree with this timeline. for me, their connection was built up over longer period of time.
spoilers to lux comics, her and sylas' backstories and the mageseeker game below.
comicbooks:
during the comics it is clear that lux is a clever girl — sneaky, smart, intelligent, cunning. why doesn't she see that at one point sylas is manipulating her towards his own goal? because she's in love.
she was probably sheltered most of the time, always under watchful gaze of her family (also having her marriage arranged later on!) and for the first time in her life she could be herself — not miss luxanna crownguard, but just lux — a lost teenager, mage trapped in a terrible country which would have her hanging if she only spilled a word. for the first time she was understood, didn't have to lie and pretend and had a friend and a teacher who helped her control her worst fear — her own magic. because of that she didn't need to worry about her hands (or other body parts) shining in public or around her family and that brought an indescribable amount of comfort, strengthening the bond between sylas and herself even more — because she could spend time with her family and friends without the constant fear of being caught with her inner powers.
she tried to protect and comfort sylas during his beheading, publicly revealing their relationship — it was crazy enough for royalty, for a crownguard!, to admit being friends with a convicted mage. if that wasn't a true proof of her love and loyalty, then i don't know what is. sylas was hated and sentenced to death and she ran to hug him for the last time, trying to protect him from being killed too. and he used her magic to destroy the city and kill innocent people. her magic.
she's betrayed and clearly heartbroken, but despite that, she pushes her feelings aside, still fighting for her people — other mages — guiding them towards safe routes to get out of town and pretending to be tasked to deal with those gifted with magic to save them. in my opinion, it's a coping mechanism — not having the time to actually go through any grieving about what she lost helps her deal with the whole situation. eventually, she escapes great city of demacia and stays in the forest, creating a safe space for every refugee in the form of a hidden camp.
the mageseeker:
this is where things become complicated. we see her anger when sylas comes to her, she snaps back at him when he uses her once beloved pet name — she's deeply hurt but takes no bullshit, knowing it'll only end up with more pain — distances herself emotionally, even after sylas (seemingly) sincerely apologized for what he's done. only once she comes for some kind of help and forms a temporary alliance, but also states that there's nothing more than that. sylas' and lux's opinions on fighting for mages' rights in demacia differ greatly and she accepts the fact they'll never comrpomise. at this point i think she hides her true feelings yet again for the sake of greater good — protecting the refugee camp from mageseekers.
warriors video:
here we see her true anger, all the emotions combined into what she truly believes — protecting all demacians from every kind of threat. she's not afraid of facing sylas in a battle. at this point, jarvan iv issued a decree that all mages are free to live in the kingdom, and so she could use her magic freely to summon galio for the fight with sylas and his freljord's allies.
finally, for the question itself — what are her thoughts about sylas? right now she's a soldier, and during war there's no time for such trivialities. she didn't have time to put her thoughts in order, so she has nothing to say about her former friend.

✨oc masterpost ✨
a list of various characters and a short summary of their.. whole deal, grouped according to the stories they share. i have no idea how long this is gonna get so i just put down a handful ive been thinking/posting abt recently. ill update as i go. (last updated 8/16/23)
🎀🫀
eden (she/her): cringefail californian superhero fangirl. unemployed and pissing away her limited savings when she comes into contact with an alien entity who possesses her body and gives her powers beyond her wildest dreams. unfortunately, said alien is totally Not Cute, so eden has dedicated herself to rehabilitating their shared image. not the magical girl she wanted to be, but the magical girl the world needs.
scabby (it/she): eden’s alien counterpart. together they are scabigail, a baddy beating babe, nevermind the fact their shared hero form looks like a fleshy pink bodyhorror nightmare. she came to earth seeking the glory of bloodshed. what it got was significantly cutesier and sparklier than it had been hoping for, but it makes do.
😈😇
desdemona “des” deville (she/her): teenage demon girly. kicked out of her fancy private demon academy for various acts of mischief and mayhem to the point that even a school for literal demons couldn’t take it anymore, she now attends a public school with a mix of fellow monstrous, supernatural, or otherwise abnormal students. she takes pride in her rebellious nature but is starting to sweat under the disapproval of her father and “perfect” big sister.
angelique harmony (she/her): teenage angel girly. kicked out of her fancy private angel academy after taking the fall for another students misdeeds. she is sweet and kind and more than a little (unintentionally) condescending in her self righteousness. she befriended des on her first day of her new school in hopes that redeeming the seemingly irredeemable demon would get her reinstated at the academy. unbeknownst to her, des was thinking the same thing. theyre best frenemies 5evr!
hellena deville (she/her): des’ older sister, an ambitious absolute monster of a demon. destined from birth to inherit the family business, hellena embodies an air of cold professionalism in every aspect of her life. gucci to the core. shes in her senior year at the academiae infernalis and has an on-again off-again relationship with an underachieving demon boy from an equally influential family.
sadisme “sadie” deville (she/her): des’ younger sister, a middle schooler with an infatuation in all things cute and sparkly. despite having little interest in the usual demonic pursuits of torment and vice, she is already a skilled manipulator. her cutesy appearance disarms and endears (almost) everyone she encounters and as a result shes used to being doted on. absolutely does numbers of monster tiktok.
⭐🚙
adam kiddrick (he/him) is the impulsive, rebellious, heart-driven defacto leader of his friendgroup, consisting of several suburban teenagers on the verge of adulthood brought together by the bonds of extreme boredom. hes the guy who makes plans, a mover and shaker, even if the plans are often either very poorly thought out or consist of “hey lets go smash bottles with a tennis racket in the 7/11 parking lot”. a scheme gone wrong leads to his expulsion and him and his friends being separated and scattered, which leads to enact one last master plan to spend the summer bringing everyone back together one last time. by stealing his uncles van and going on an impromptu road trip.
perseus/percy nine (he/him) is an alien starkind from the depths of space, who came to earth after picking up radio transmissions from its surface and becoming enamored with humankind. even with a form which appears human he is notably bad at fitting in or laying low, and hes constantly toeing the line between friendly and dangerously naive. the rest of his species seems to have little interest in any planet-bound life at large and consider him bizarre for his interests. but when percy descends to earth, his elder “siblings” are willing to do anything to bring him back, even if it means (unfortunately for all parties involved) tearing the world apart.
conway seung-saintgermaine (she/her) is adams right hand arm. man. his silly rabbit. etc. growing up tomboyish and feeling alien in her surroundings, conway gravitated towards a male-majority friendgroup early on. she was raised torn between the sensibilities of a humorless academic dad and her “anything goes” hippie mom to the point where she cant stand the idea of either and instead hides behind faux apathy to avoid the embarrassment of taking a passionate stance on anything. the aforementioned scheme gone wrong gets her transferred to a very traditional all girl school on her dads behest which forces her to reckon with why she cant seem to feel Normal around other girls. very mysterious.
denise/dee/dent basil (they/he/she) is the youngest of the group and doesnt really share their easy camaraderie, but is either too stubborn or too dense to feel out of place. they are confident to the point of foolishness and quick to joke in a way that makes people fail to take them seriously when they should sometimes. despite a sheltered upbringing, theyve adopted a surface level punk aesthetic which is enhanced by the fact that theyre frequently bruised and bandaged from eating shit while trying to show everyone a cool skateboard trick they saw on tiktok. the nickname dent comes from the time they tried to impress their way into the group by jumping their bike off a diy ramp in the school parking lot and managed to put a dent in both the roof of the principal’s car and their skull.
sylvester loyd (he/him) is by all appearances the picture of the stereotypical juvenile delinquent. he is incredibly easy to anger, but also quick to realize when hes fucked up and tries his best to make things right in the aftermath. hes prone to bad luck and being caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, something which once caused him to consider adam his nemesis after he was inadvertently punished for something him and his friends did. in time though they come to understand each other and be.. sorta friends, largely due to percys intervention on adams behalf. he sells adderall and vitamins disguised as prescription drugs to underclassmen and rides a motor scooter because his mom thinks motorcycles are too dangerous. thinks his name gives him a “stallone” vibe but its really more of a “the cat” vibe.
peyton jones (he/him) was adams first friend and perhaps his best friend, but time has put some distance between them despite the fact that they have been physically near inseparable for years. he is dependable, if a bit quiet, and easily the most mature of the group. peyton has always been big for his age as well as shy, which made him a target for bullying when he was younger. he started sticking with adam because he was always willing to go to bat for him, but over time that dynamic warped into a sort of codependency. after the infamous scheme gone wrong leaves peyton with a broken arm and ruins his chances with the college of his choice, he forcibly severs their friendship.
cassiopeia (she/her) is one of the starkind percy regards as something of an older sibling. their species only numbers in the hundreds, due to the fact that they dont really reproduce so much as Happen, so they regard each other vaguely as one large extended family, but not an especially warm one. cass and the other “siblings” are outliers in the sense that they are slightly closer to an actual family dynamic, mostly due to percy acting as a central point who prompts them to interact in ways they wouldnt normally. cass is perhaps the most protective of percy, even though she doesnt understand him a bit. she is smart and serious and very particular, easy to frazzle by small changes in plan. she doesnt particularly like humankind, but she finds them interesting in a distant sort of way.
hercules (he/her) is the eldest of percys immediate “family”. hes been around far longer than humans as a species and doesnt really know what to make of them. like cass, he doesnt dislike humans but he also doesnt really want to be anywhere near them if he doesnt have to be. he is soft spoken but has a firm presence that makes him hard to argue with. “im not mad just disappointed” energy. though he might not understand the youngests infatuation with earth he is content to indulge him from time to time.
andromeda (he/him) is a lot less solemn and more excitable than many of the other starkind. his moods are intense and quick to bounce from high to low at a moments notice. he has a tendency towards playful bullying and is bad at recognizing when the jokes gone too far. he cares about his siblings, but in the way where he kind of always wants to give them the astral equivalent of a noogie.
zeta (she/her) is sharp-tongued and generally about as pleasant as a wet cat. she likes her family, in her own way, but finds them unbearable in any kind of close proximity. its not that shes without any compassion towards other people, she just likes her space. lots and lots of space. shes arguably most fond of percy because he understands that of her and doesnt think any worse of her for it, and because his presence, annoyingly saccharine and cheery as it can sometimes be, seems to mellow out the others and prevents any extra infighting. unfortunately, a lot of times the way percy prevents that infighting is by being a convenient punching bag. she sees this too, in a way the others do not.
camelopardalis (they/them) is the youngest save for percy and as such is guilty of using him as a buffer to avoid any unwanted attention from the older ones. they have a quiet, sleepy vibe. real “dont look at me im not a part of this” energy. its served them well overall but also makes it so on the rare occasion that they do speak up on something, theyre disregarded out of hand. if they had a little more self awareness, they might realize that this way of existing has been pretty lonely for them.
🎤⚡
lucy (any pronouns) is an undead monster of ambiguous origins made up of assorted corpse bits a la frankensteins monster. shes kind of an edgy emo bitch but shes also literally dead and like has no memory going further back than a few months ago so she gets a pass. shes the lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist of “the friendly fears”. shes still working out what she likes and how she sees herself and how to like navigate this newfound personhood considering What she is.
wolfgirl (she/they) is a wolfgirl, but not strictly speaking a wolf nor a girl. theyre the bands drummer and the grounded, slightly grumpy voice of reason of their friendgroup. they habitually bingewatch anime and vtuber streams “in an ironic way” and have a (not that secret) secret cosplay hobby. they Do Not want to talk about their feelings or their past or their birthday or their favorite color thank you very much.
wilhelm screem (he/him) is a ~200 yr old vampire thotty who has spent the majority of that time picking up as many instruments as possible. hes quirky, very social, a little manic, knows intimately the difference between hyperpop and weirdcore and Will elaborate on that. the band was naturally his idea, after having tried to warm wg up to the idea for years before lucy came around and made it two against one. lost a nipple to botched top surgery in 1912 and impulse-bleaches his hair more than is ideal for someone with two roommates and one small bathroom.
georgina “georgie” weaver (she/her) is the owner, manager, and occasional bartender at “georgie’s”, a bar that serves mainly fellow monsters, conveniently located downstairs from the main trio’s apartment. no one actually knows What she is but they also know better than to ask. classically beautiful and very fucking deadly. she has a deeply romantic heart and a soft spot for hopeless cases.
yasmine yadviga (she/her) is a “doctor” (its unclear what her doctorate is actually in, or if it even exists) and a freelance witch, specializing in doing the shit that the others wont touch, for the right price. shes a frequent patron at georgie’s. as in she is there like every night. severely in need of a life and maybe some friends she hasnt managed to piss off (intentionally or unintentionally) yet but is incapable of stomaching any kind of vulnerability or intimacy when shes not drunk or stoned.
👽🌃
wendy phillips (she/her) is the teenage daughter of the now deceased leader of a “fringe religious movement” (read: doomsday cult). growing up under the thumb of her father and his loyal acolytes, wendy became sharp and resentful. the only upside of her dads morbid prophecies seemed to be that it would all be over soon. her worldview was flipped on its head when an invading alien monster on a godzilla style rampage descended upon her childhood home like an avenging angel of kickassery and wiped out the cult in one fell swoop. in helping her new alien friend, wendy gradually finds herself feeling, to her surprise, happy to be alive again.
auree (she/her) is a shapeshifting alien with an emotional self-regulation problem. after a mission to claim a supposedly deserted planet goes awry, auree ends up separated from the rest of her species, captured and isolated, and promptly freaks the fuck out. while her species’ transformational abilities make her a force to be reckoned with, they also make her unstable without the empathetic bond that runs through her kind. her bond with wendy provides a similar balancing influence, but its new and fragile and hampered by the species gap, and may not be enough for her to hold out until she can find her missing family.
haddie muhammdi (she/her) is an anxious, well meaning young woman who owns a comic book shop, and happens to be wendys former neighbor who used to babysit her regularly as a kid. she cares a lot about wendy, and even her weird new friend who eats all her snacks and touches all her pristine limited edition figurines, and is trying to earn her way back into her very small circle of trust, but theres a bit of not-great history between them that makes it rough sometimes. she finds a lot of comfort in fictional stories of heroism, but doesnt see herself as someone who could fulfil that role herself.
scarlett laroux (she/her) is an alien of auree’s kind who came to earth to colonize it for her homeworld, a mission she justifies to herself by refusing to think of humans and fully thinking, compassionate creatures. shes taken the form of celebrity, finding that humans will basically let you get away with anything if youre rich or famous enough. her sense of obligation towards auree as one of her own, as well as her still being a kid, causes her to bend the rules of her assignment to try and reach out and help her, but soon finds there are others in their ranks who wont extend the same courtesy. she is haughty and snide as her false-identity would lead one to believe, but smarter and more resilient than anyone expects.
henry peck (he/him) is a middle aged janitor who works at a hospital. after discovering an abandoned lil goo baby at work, he is unceremoniously thrust into the role of fatherhood, something he never thought himself capable of. he is absolutely flying by the seat of his pants but he loves his weird mass-of-tentacles looking baby and thats what matters. he also happens to live in an apartment which shares a building with haddie’s comic shop. small world!
bud (whatever) is an alien baby. hes too young to have settled on a semi-regular form so he just kinda looks like a wiggling black slime pile. at this age hes also technically blind but he aint bothered. thats what the unbeatable perceptive power of putting stuff in your mouth is for.
🎸🤡
tanis lahey (she/her) is a traveling musician vibing her way thru the eldritch goopocalypse. after leaving her family home in search of fame and fortune, she ran into some hard times and ended up making a deal with the devil that cost her her soul. now, shes on a journey to hunt down that devil and make him give it back. unfortunately her conspicuous lack of soul is making that journey a little difficult, draining her of her human emotions and instincts bit by bit. the first to go was her fear, so she struggles to accurately evaluate the danger of a given situation, which gets her into a fair bit of trouble.
caroline the dancing doll (she/her) is a lifesize wooden clown puppet who was designed as an attraction at a traveling circus before, you know, the end of the world as we know it. after being exposed to some nasty ichor she came to life, which was pretty scary for the rest of the folks at the circus, and they quickly bailed. her sole purpose in life is to entertain, to make people laugh and smile, but its hard when most humans find a sentient monsterdoll more terrifying than delightful. tanis was the first person not to be afraid of her, and now theyre bestest friends forever!!

dr crescher (they/them) is an alchemist rocking that classic “mad scientist who experimented on themself and now occasionally undergoes a monstrous transformation” lifestyle. specifically, they turn into some kinda non euclidean lizard beast whenever their stress levels get too high. and they dont have the best history of coping with stress to begin with. goggles wearing nerd, bit of a bastard. mildly germophobic and deeply in need of a nap.
dr sinta sillica (she/her) is a researcher, crescher’s assistant at the start, partner in lab and life later on. she is both smart and lowkey crazy enough to match dr c beat for beat, but isnt quite as obvious about it. she has a hard time expressing herself and tends to come off as unremarkable at best, cold and distant at worst. she admires crescher for the passion and brilliance she sees behind the persona, and crescher in turn sees her for who she is, for the feelings she struggles to show. sinta is reliable to the point of neglecting her own needs, and terribly, unfortunately attracted to anyone whose Issues help her forget about her own.

Boy we’ve come a long way into this season! A few story arcs that took a few eps to get through only to get hooked on a new one! I mean, there was the grieving process of Marinette/Ladybug losing almost all the miraculouses (“Evolution”-“Illusion”), the reverse love square (“Determination”-“Exaltation”), the “I love you” struggle w/ Adrienette (“The Kwami’s Choice”-“Intuition”) and the Anti-Adrienette Haters Attack (“Protection”-“Pretention”). Is there any left before the big finale!? Oh yeah! The Mean Girl Tyranny! Yeah! That’s the one! We’re gettin’ into that one now! Let’s check into that:
*Revelation-Sometimes good things happen to bad people. Why!? That just pisses people off! Lila Rossi got everything she ever wanted:fame of being the avatar on the alliance rings, the love and adoration of the public and getting special treatment just for being a celebrity. Bleh!🤮 (gasp) Guess what!? There is a God! Gabe had made an upgrade on the alliance rings, so Lila, in the words of an apprentice seeking/former president of the United States, YOU’RE FIRED!🔥😜 Well sweetie! If he didn’t think you were good enough for the Diamond Ball THEN YOU AIN’T GOOD ENOUGH TO BE THE NEW SIRI! HA! :P. Gabe replaced Lila with Kagami as the new avatar so as to manipulate the people that Adrigami has resurfaced!🙄 That and cuz Lila did a sucky job of sinking Adrienette.
Unfortunately, that just pushed her over the edge. Lila wants revenge on Gabe(/Monarch cuz she’s secretly known for awhile now as we found out in “Emotion”, or even longer (“Ladybug”), cuz why would he entrust this important info to a teenage girl!? Especially one who’s a master manipulator!) for losing out on her good life and decides to seek power elsewhere. Where is that? School. Lila suggests holding a re-election for class representative. That way, she can secretly have at least control over something and be respected by it. Current class rep, Marinette, protests this cuz they only have 2wks of school left, so why bother!? But Lila convinces everyone that she can be a great candidate cuz she said she can do the impossible, something that no one, and I mean no one! could do, redeem Chloe Bourgeois! (✨꒰ఎ angelic choir sings໒꒱✨). Marinette (albeit professionally) calls bullsh*t on that cuz if she, the class, the teachers, Ladybug (*grabs megaphone, turns it up to high volume and yells* AND EVEN THE WRITERS OF THE SHOW ITSELF!) couldn’t do that, what makes Lila think she can!? Lila pretends to be offended by this and runs off crying making Marinette look bad. Again!
Although it was faked, her genuine hatred for Marinette was enough to get her akumatized as Hoaxer. A supervillainess, with The Fox Miraculous, that has the power to brainwash people into believing everything she says, no matter how absurd (ex.The dynamic duo are extra terrestrials who flatulate bubbles that destroy the Ozone Layer!), is real! But only through those that wear an alliance ring cuz some people don’t wear ‘em *cough*Myvan*cough*. Her look was okay, it’s just her Volpina look dyed dark red. Her power on the other hand was supes effective cuz it’s her civilian talent turned up to 11! In fact, her whole akumatization and partnership with Chloe was all a big act to get her revenge on Gabe/Monarch/sabotage Marinette and it worked like a charm! Let the Mean Girl Tyranny begin! Don! Don! Don!
If you’re wondering why this ep was called Revelation, it’s cuz we got a lot to reveal over what happened! Lila's has three moms! No! I don’t mean in a lgbtqia sorta way, I mean like she’s conning three women (one of which is deaf) into thinking she’s their daughter who’s always away on celebrity/philanthropist duties! Why’s she doin’ this!? How long has this been goin’ on!? Which ones her real mom!? Are any of ‘em her real mom!? You think the writers realized their mistake on animating a different mom for Lila during “Shadow Moth’s Final Attack Part 1:Risk” and tried to save face by concocting this whole “let’s fix this by making Lila a con girl thing”!? Or did they have this planned beforehand!? Idk!? Ms. Bustier discovers that Sabrina had been doing Chloé's homework this whole entire time! (we knew that of course from “Evillustrator”, but it’s coming to light here) Since Grade School! Whaaaaaaat!? Does Chloe get her comeuppance for it!? F*ck no! She’s got privileges! If someone, like say, oh idk? The teachers were to call her out on this, Chloe would just resort to her connections like her father, the mayor, and complain about it forcing him to fire the teacher and he’ll obviously (and reluctantly) do so just to “win her love” :P. Chloe feels that since she’s rich she doesn’t need to work or pay attention in school cuz she’s entitled that’s why! It’s how the show works for her character! It’s also what aspires Lila to win over everyone for class rep by coercing Chloe to play along the “redemption” lie just to ruin Marinette. Marinettes continued attempts to expose Lila fail, as always, with none of her friends, like Alya, believing her (sigh). I’ve mentioned this before in Season 4’s finale and Alya does make a point. Despite knowing Marinette longer than Lila, Marinette has no evidence to back up her claims. That and even though she knows she’s Ladybug and should’ve realized Lila’s lies when she first said she knew Ladybug (“Volpina”), Marinette does have a big jealousy problem with other girls liking Adrien and always gets paranoid over things. However, Marinettes gone through character development and thus is a “better” person now. Adrien tries to say it’s true that Lila’s deceptive, but DJWifi just think he’s being a “good bf” by agreeing with whatever “nonsense” his gf is saying. Hmm, maybe he should’ve said something earlier, like say, oh idk? Waaaay back in, when was that? Oh yeah! “Chameleon”! And not just “take the high road” bullsh*t! Now look what’s happened! The two meanest and nastiest girls in school got the power! (shrugs) Hey! He’s a sheltered and socially lost rich boy who’s too nice for his own good, whattaya gonna do!? Here’s the worse revelation, Lila now has all the dirt on Gabe/Monarch! Don! Don! Don! All of it! The secrets from the grimoire, his backstory on his humble beginnings when he was just a punk w/ a dream and French Fry suit (“Psycomedian”), his friendship w/ the Bourgeois’s, his expeditions with his wife and Nat, the alliance ring contract and the fact that HE’S KEEPING HIS COMATOSE WIFE IN A SECRET UNDERGROUND LAIR! Don! Don! Don!

!!!! Okay so now that the essay has been demanded lemme tell y’all about ✨Daki✨.
Now it’s really easy, and unfortunately common, to look at her design then look at her age and cry Loli. I’m not going to say she isn’t an over sexualized child because she is. That’s the entire point of her character.
Daki is a child who is extremely over sexualized but not BY the story or writer, it’s IN the story. She’s not really supposed to be sexy to the audience despite her design but she is supposed to be attractive to the people in universe. Now since you could argue the target audience is teenage boys then maybe she’s supposed to be attractive to the audience but that’s kinda beside the point.
Daki is roughly 13 and either because of her power status as a demon the more adult form we’ve seen Nezuko use is the default for her, or she just looks rather mature for her age. The reason I wouldn’t say she looks 13 in universe to the other characters is no one questions her roll as the head of a bunch of prostitutes (that I remember). Even though her being that young and being in sex-work is possible, the position would be assumed to belong to a woman at least in her early 20’s. This is a very important part of her character, she looks older than she is and chooses to participate in an extremely sexual setting. The fact that this is all completely her choice is very important because thats where our first trope subversion comes in. Daki is actively trying to put herself in a more adult position in hopes it will make her more adult. It faces the problem of when children become immortal, what do they do with all this life experience but no development to go with it? They try to go up anyway.
Her relationship with Muzan is the second most important part of this. Daki before we know of how Muzan treats her seems to be trying to force growing up for personal reasons, but after we see the attention she gets it adds motive. Nothing makes us understand that Daki is a child more than Muzan’s manipulation of her. As the most powerful adult figure in her life it’s easy for her to entertain the delusion of him actually loving her. It makes her feel like she is an adult and has all this autonomy in the situation because she’s being acknowledged as mature by a power figure. He knows she’s young and knows she’ll be mentally a child for the rest of her demon life, and giving her the illusion he sees her as equal to the other moons keeps her obedient.
Now why would Gotouge use sexuality to illustrate that Daki is struggling with never developing and forcing herself to grow up? Well because it’s the easiest thing to go “a child should not be doing that” and her relationship with Muzan is a great representation of real life predators. There is a very real trend in the real world of young girls especially around Daki’s age desiring to be sexual and attractive and this comes from a few things. To simplify it we’ll say that it comes partially from learning about sex in general and reaching the part of physical development where that usually starts to become interesting, and partially from the expectation for girls to be women too early. I probably don’t need to tell you that societal standards paints only young women as attractive and paints “barely legal” as the absolute prime. Hardly ever giving the education for teenage girls who may desire sexual things that it’s normal and instead insisting that desire equals preparedness. Daki faces this on an extreme level because rather than just feeling like she should be an adult, she actually genuinely should be an adult. Growing up physically and mentally got stripped away from her by becoming a demon and she has to deal with getting all this time alive with no avenues to really mature in much more than surface mentality. While in real life young girls sexualizing themselves comes down to cultural failings, Daki genuinely has little other way to ever grow up. She understands in character that she should not be a head prostitute at 13 but what other extreme could she possibly reach? I would even argue she knows Muzan is predatory to her but the possibility of being treated as an adult woman by someone who knows her true age is so alluring to her she just doesn’t care.

🌘 My favorite darkling moments in the trilogy ✨🌗
- manipulating and lying to alina the second they met
- sold genya into abuse and sex slavery
- made genya burn alina’s letters to mal so she would feel even more alone
- is extremely old and still kissed alina, a lonely teenager
- enslaved alina and used her to kill a lot of people which she ended up feeling responsible for and got lasting nightmares about
- tried to kill mal countless times
- made one of his nichevo'ya bite alina
- threatened her and mal with torture (including skinning alina, healing her, and then doing it again)
- told her that he would take everything from alina until she had nothing even if it would take a lifetime for him to do it
- tortured and blinded his own mom
- is the reason zoya’s aunt and niece died
- disguised himself as mal so he could sexually assault alina
- made her believe that she was hallucinating and going insane
- tried to separate her from her friends and make her feel alone
- tortured genya almost beyond recognition and took one of her eyes (only cool when kaz takes eyes)
- told zoya that they were gonna change the world together, then said the same thing to alina
- killed a lot of people again
- killed a lot of the grisha, among them fedyor, paja, and marie
- made nikolai into that horrible volcra-thing and took his free will from him
- burned alina’s childhood home and hanged botkin, ana kuya, and the three grisha teachers from the tree alina had played in as a child, then waited there for days just so alina could see it
- told alina that he would hunt her like an animal
- killed people she cared for again; harshaw, stigg, sergei, nevsky, ruby
- when alina lost her powers, he told her that she now was nothing
- is the reason misha’s mother is dead
- has abused, used, and murdered so many people

I want to hear your pure an unadulterated thoughts on Emperor Belos. Just want to hear your two cents on that guy
**crack my fingers** MY TIME HAS COME
I am going to say that first of all, Belos is a GREAT CLASSIC VILLAIN, he is irredeemable, he does HORRIBLE acts for SELFISH reasons and in general he is a bad person, but they also allow us to know his motives, his history and how he became what he is. now (although we never got to see it in its entirety IN THE SERIES thanks to the clipping--I DAMN YOU DISNEY).
I really like him as a character, his design as an emperor is GREAT (apart from the fact that the symbolism is good that he has pure light tones in his cape but in his underwear they are dark tones, like the character's intentions with the witches who appear to be good but they are much more vile than he lets on), his first appearance as an old cuchi is deceptively pleasant, and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, I LOVE HIS MONSTER DESIGNS, THEY ALL REPRESENT VERY WELL THE CRAP THAT HE IS INSIDE. ESPECIALLY THE ONE AT THE END OF THE SECOND SEASON.
Although I definitely think that what I liked most about the character would be his historical accuracy and how that ends up being related to his origin story.
the story with his brother is sad- BY CALEB! Obviously, I'm not saying that he didn't screw up by not talking to Philip at the time or taking him with him, but probably Caleb (similar to him) was trapped in the Boiling Isles and didn't abandon him on purpose. We do not know if he had any intention of returning or how much he tried to do so, precisely because Philip did not care and was convinced that his brother (who loved him with all his soul and RAISED him) had abandoned him.
I like the theory that Philip tried to kill Evelyn first, because at that time it was very common to believe that women "tempted men and incited them to sin" and that if he killed her her brother would return to him, BUT OBVIOUSLY CALEB WOULD NOT LET HIM KILL HIS PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND.
AND YET BELOS HAS THE CHANCE TO BLAME HIM FOR HIS DEATH, SAYING THAT "HE WANTED TO SAVE HIS SOUL" (a very puritanical and timely thing to do, since of course the church did not kill bad people, noooooo, they were SINNERS who went against God, if they killed someone innocent they were giving them ✨the gift of eternal paradise✨ and other shit).
He is someone UNABLE to accept the blame for his actions, so he ends up blaming EVERYONE for what happened to him, the witches, the islands, his brother, everyone BUT HIM, the one who killed him and the reason why is in this shithole.....
However, he has a great ability to manipulate the situation to take control and benefit. Philip is a writer, it is much easier for him to see himself as the hero of the story instead of the vermin he is, thanks to this he can invent Belos.
He has such an exceptional capacity for manipulation that he Gaslighted all the Boiling Islands where he could talk to the titan (the equivalent of god in the series), to follow his system of covens by the "will of the titan" causing them to stop doing things. something that was IN HIS NATURE and on top of that they proclaimed him EMPEROR.
This man has the will to do HORRIBLE things in order to stay in power and remains powerful, he feeds on Palismanes, he mutilates his body to make magic, he has irreversibly damaged people with sigils/he has killed them, CLONO A HIS BROTHER AND KILLED HIM THOUSANDS OF TIMES.
HOLY SHIT- HUNTER MUST BE THE LONGEST GRIMWALKER EVER AND HE'S JUST A TEENAGER!!! AND IT IS SURELY BECAUSE BELOS LIED TO HIM ABOUT UNITY DAY. without counting his good share of EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION, PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL VIOLENCE and other things that this poor child had to face living with Belos.
and that he was the most similar to Caleb...
Also, the way he manipulated Luz, a 14-year-old girl, into believing that it was HER FAULT what she had done by "helping" him find the Collector? AHHHHHHGGGG I hate him SO MUCH BUT HE IS SO IN CHARACTER AND WELL BUILT HGGAAAAAAA----
In general, Belos is a TERRIBLE PERSON and human being in general, but an EXCELLENT villain who ended up as he deserved, being trampled and begging for salvation in a pathetic way :)
______
