History has a way of repeating itself because we do not learn from it the first time. Remember this day and do not let some offended ass snowflake try to erase this tragic event from being taught to the future generations. The more people are “offended” by history, the more it will repeat.
To those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001… my prayers are forever with you and your families.

Bless the heroes who faced danger to help others, and the souls lost that day. We will #neverforget 🇺🇸 Reposted from @soho_blues I took this photograph on September 11, 2001 - a day that will live in infamy. FDNY Firefighter Tim Duffy (@duffy4161), whom I met a few months after this photo was published, was off duty but rode to Ground Zero from his home in Staten Island when he saw the attack on TV. He arrived after the first World Trade Center tower fell and went to work helping injured people evacuate. Today Tim runs 1Soldier 1Dog 1Team, rescuing dogs from shelters and training them as companions for wounded warriors with PTSD. Tim is a great guy, an unsung hero, and he digs my "old Norton". https://1soldier1dog1team.us/ #photographs #photojournalism #photooftheday #newyork #newyorkcity #manhattan #911 #worldtradecenter #wtc #building #fdny #motorcycle #harleydavidson #neverforget #firstresponders #police #tower #hero #september11 #chopcult https://www.instagram.com/p/CiXyfO_Lues/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Francis Joseph Trombino: The Rockland Brinks Robbery Survivor Who Perished in the 9/11 Attacks
Francis J Trombino- known by many as simply ‘Joe,’ was a Korean war vet and truck driver who had been with Brinks since the late 1960s and lived most of his life in Clifton, NJ. He was killed on the morning of September 11th, 2001 when two World Trade Center towers collapsed.
But that sunny September morning was not the first time Trombino had crossed paths with terrorists. In 1993, his armoured truck had left the WTC complex a few hours before Islamic terrorist Ramzi Yousef drove an explosives-laden rental van into the underground parking garage and set the fuse.
However, before either of the Islamist attacks on the World Trade Center site, Trombino survived a deadly ambush and robbery from Weather Underground and black sepratist gunmen nearly 20 years before the 9/11 attacks.
As Trombino and fellow guard Peter Paige were picking up money from Nanuet Mall in Rockland County, NY, in October 1981 when masked gunmen burst from a nearby van and opened fire with shotguns and an M-16 rifle, killing Paige instantly. Trombino was able to get off a round before being struck in the shoulder, arm and upper body multiple times.
After swapping vehicles, the domestic terrorists would then try and shoot their way through a roadblock set up by police in West Nyack, NY, killing two police officers and wounding another before trying to flee on foot or carjack motorists.
Trombino’s injuries would require multiple surgeries. He nearly lost his arm in the gunfight. Brinks reassigned him as a driver where he would continue to work for another 19 years. According to family, Joe hardly complained about the surgeries and therapy, telling them that ‘These things are a part of life’.
Joe Trombino was about a year away from retirement on the morning of September 11th. According to co-workers, he stayed in the underground garage with his truck when the planes hit, calling the Brinks dispatcher and inquiring about the whereabouts of the guards who had gone into the WTC buildings to make a pickup (they had managed to escape but had no means of communication). Trombino told the Brinks office in his last phone call that water was starting to seep in and the walls were starting to crumble around him. —Not Another New England Sports Blog, 2011

There was a friendly elder caucasian/white lady I loved taking care of at St. Mary's Hospital. She told me she grew up Catholic/Buddhist- she's like me. Some people wouldn't understand believing in both, because Catholics only believe in one God.
I believe in Jesus Christ & more than one God. I'm so glad I met her-her name was Cathy. She was also a November Scorpio like me!❤️We so magical.✨💁🏻♀️
She always hugged & kissed me in her wheelchair & even told me she loved me a few times. I miss Cathy.😭She made me feel more open talking about my beliefs in public. Someone who is older & wiser from a different generation. I love old people. 🩵
Speaking of Cathy, 1 of my other neighbors friends who's also an elder lady who's also white lives 3 blocks away from me, I love Cathys. Lots of Cathys have come to my life has mostly been either really good or significant. I remember my neighbor friend Cathy saying when she was younger, she remembered JFK-when President John F. Kennedy was Assassinated which was the biggest news in her generation.
I told her, I went to the JFK historic area in both Dallas and Houston, Texas when I was about 13-14 years old. JFK is my number 1 favorite president. I also told her my airplane I was on at JFK Airport in New York; When were in the airplane, had our seatbelts on, then heard a huge BOOM! Our plane literally broke when we were about to fly-good thing we caught it before we were flying. Everybody evacuated & waited another hour for our plane. God was there. How symbolic for that to happen to us when we were in New York & that September 11th 9/11th plane crash/terrorism happened there in New York in 2001. Scary!😱
I told Cathy about 9/11 (a few years ago) & told her how I remembered it when I was a kid at 8 years old 9/11/2001. Cathy said 9/11 and JFK Assassination were the biggest devastating news in her lifetime/generation. She said she'll never forget those important days. JFK was also Catholic like Biden. I love them both.🩵

And here we are, September already; soon we're going to be celebrating the end of 2023. Time flies... so let's take a deep breath and embrace this moment, this day, the present and be grateful for what you have... which is life. 🙏🏼
Also, today is September 11... and I do remember that horrible Tuesday morning in 2001. 🇺🇸
At work today, we didn't mentioned 9/11 as we were extremely busy all day; but I always remember. 😔
I miss my car. My car is non-drivable at the moment. I'm driving a 2005 Toyota and I miss listening to my playlists on Spotify or my morning podcast on my way to work. Hopefully, my car gets fix so I can drive it again because I miss my car; can't afford a new/used car now. It is what it is and I am just grateful I have a car to drive to work.
Today remember the 22nd Anniversary of September 11, 2001. We honor and remember the lives lost and the heroes who selflessly responded. Let us stand united in resilience, hope and gratitude. NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸❤️
