you guys Are aware that alex is guilty right. ive seen so many people Think he has no guilt for what happened even though he does. in entry 26 he repeatedly told amy to put the camera away and at first tried to avoid the topic in general to protect the both of them. in entry 70 he lied to her before encountering It because he didn't want her in danger. he even said himself that to stop the sickness he planned to kill everyone with it, including himself. he was guilty for those actions even if he believed it was what he had to do. he falsely believed he was the chosen one and he Had to go out of his way to stop the spread of the sickness when he did not have to. he was misguided and he was a victim of It????i understand that he did horrible things but nobody ever considers his reasoning. he didnt do it just because he wanted to.

when rain gets a sore throat for any reason hes likely to freak out. he feels bad having to explain to his fellow ghouls “sorry you caught me having a panic attack over my throat hurting. it reminded me a bit too much of the way i died” and eventually all the ghouls are aware enough of this specific trigger to understand why the panic attacks happens.

to this day when the ghouls hear rain start to cough, they immediately prepare for the worst. throat numbing spray, cough drops, warm tea, and physical comfort prepared.
