New toy! Tatra T4 from Tomytec, the set with two of them and one motor chassis. They're in the colours of Prague, because the alternative (Leipzig) looked very boring. DCC pre-installed by the dealer (I know how to install DCC in Tomytec trains, and have vowed to never do it again unless I have to).

I'm really happy, the train runs really well and quietly. Power pickup is good, pulling power is decent. Only one bogie is powered, but it's fitted with two traction tires, a design made necessary because the chassis can be changed into different lengths easily. No lighting, which is not something I'm bothered about, but if you are, it's probably possible to retrofit it at least to the powered car with a medium amount of hassle.

what if i said that blind faith. or blindness to others actions and intentions. or something along those lines is a hugeee theme of part 2 (not that it wasnt in part 1) and fujimoto is constantly reinforcing it!!! in part 1 i feel like instances were more intentional (ie makima manipulating everything to destroy denjis happiness and denji going along with it because he didnt know any better) whereas in part 2 we see a lot of characters (like katana man here) who were just pushing forward blindly. the chainsaw man church kids not really knowing the extent of fami’s plans. sugo just going along with the other hybrids and then trying to justify why burning down the building was right to denji. even asa in the most recent chapters as we can see how like fami and more particularly yoru convince her of a truth for their own ends. like everyone here is blind to what anyone else in the story is trying to achieve and how it might affect them!!! and in this instance with katana man, we can see how he’s actually been working against the goal that his “heart beats for” because someone else told him to do it and withheld their true intentions from him. this (plus all the stuff about blindly following goverment or religion) really is shaping up to mold fujimotos ideas about human connection and relationships from both parts in really interesting ways!!!

also im sorry but it is so clear how many of you guys have never played pirate101. All these posts about how a baby wizard could kill a max pirate. NO THEY CANT!!! a max pirate and their crew would jump your little wizard before they could even think of summoning a duel circle

#like if it helps. a max pirate can do ~1-2k damage with one single hit (as in. they can do this EVERY TURN not just every 4 like wiz) #just bc pirate's health system is different and thus lower doesnt mean theyre weak #and also if pirate's lvl system was on par with wiz itd be even more skewed in favor of the pirate #a 160 pirate could kill a wizard by LOOKING at them.
