So, continuing on the train of thought with Quintus Prime, one thing that always kind of bugged me in Cyberverse, among various other things, was Maccadam.

The original mustached bartender they used in older comics had some car kibble to at least satisfy he clearly turned into a car, but then we come to the current iteration in Alchemist.

He’s pry the most Bayformers like of the TFPrime, er, Prime designs, but what he possibly turns into is anyone’s guess. He at least looks more capable of transforming unlike Quintus’ TFP design.

Thankfully, they decided to go a more coherent route by Cyberverse design wise.

Strong-Fat Rung wasn’t in my bingo card at the time, but I like where they were going for here. Plus they used his Cyberverse design to represent Alchemist Prime again in IDW2, so this coupled with ES Quintus suggests somebody figured it was time to make newer, simpler designs. Mac was one of the few things I liked about Cyberverse, even if how he died was kinda stupid, but what I never understood was his alt mode.

Sort of a running gag was we never actually saw what he turned into…

Only getting a glimpse via shadows it was something unsettling to other Transformers, though I always thought it was less Transforming as how we consider it and more he just functionally turned himself inside out to freak out the Decepticons or other unwanted riff raft into leaving. His kibble suggests he’s a vehicle, likely a truck, which I would figure if he had a transforming toy would be something like this:

Why we never got a proper transforming toy I’ll never know, but I’d like to think it would’ve at least leaned into the truck idea, and I at least hope the CV design is what we keep getting going forward.

Though that being said, EarthSpark, at least for the moment, seems to be sidestepping it going by this:

just a quick thought abt how funny it would be if rid15 had Megstronus meet Alpha Trion (i havent watch the show). the 13 primes has unmatched comedic potential for a messed up family sitcom.

AT and Megaus were hard to draw tbh. All primes are. Honestly I have a two ideas abt how their reunion would go. Either they would calmly talk it out or they would distance from each other. Like they both are very lonely (one self-exiled and the other was the only one on Cybertron) but they werent ready for this whole conversation.

Here, Have a List of What Kind Of Sibling Each of the 13 Primes is.

Prima:The Oldest Sibling who's Just a Complete Jerk and Refuses to Acknowledge anyone else other than Himself. Only He can Be Mean To His Siblings or you're fragged though.(im sorry, but I hate Primas Guts, and those describe him.he seems like the type who wouldn't like it when someone other than himself was mean to his Siblings)

Vector Prime:he'd be like the child who always has to be early or right on Time To Everything I think.Hes also the second oldest. He's Sassy and Forgetful as well. I have nothing more to say about Vector Lol.

Alpha trion: the Third Oldest, who I have a few Words For:BOOK LOVER WHO IS AN UNORGANIZED MESS.

Solus:The Polyamourus,Tempermental Oldest Sister, who can create anything and make it look good.

Micronus: The Short Middle Child, who Everyone makes fun of for His Height, and People Think hes The Youngest when Hes Not(Poor Micronus TvT)

Alchemist Prime:The Foutune Teller Middle Child who probably isn't Old Enough To Drink, but Does it anyway because he could care less.

Nexus Prime: The Middle Child who Cannot Figure Himself Out or get his Crap Together.

Onyx Prime:The middle child who Loves Animals and is the definition "Looks like they could kill you , is a cinnamon roll."

Amalgamous Prime:The Middle Child Everyone Forgets.(im sorry but I literally always forget Almagamous Exists)

Quintus Prime:basically Primus's Middle Child with ADHD.(I relate to him on a spiritual level.im very Imaginitive as well.)

Liege Maximo: You Know How There's always that one sibling no one wants to be around or be involved with? THAT'S HIM. He's the Third Youngest(another Prime I hate, I have every right to say that).

Fallen/Megatronus:the Second Youngest who Everyone thinks is a bad person, but then they get to know him and realize he's not as Bad.

The 13th Prime:The Youngest who has an Uncanny amount of trauma and hate towards Someone,but manages to pretend pretty well that they don't hate someone or have trauma.

Okay, so I updated my thoughts on the 13 Primes with some added context to my thoughts:

There isn't much to interpret about the relics, but it appears that the most recognizable ones are: the Matrix, the Emberstone, the Enigma of Combination, the Requiem Blaster, the Forge of Solus, and the Star Saber. Everything else looks relatively like a blob, or doesn't seem to correspond to their Prime, ie the thing that looks like the Lenses seems to be held by Onyx simply because this Prime is the only one with bird like wings.

The designs of the Primes aren't really matching with the traditional illustrations of the Covenant of Primus, especially when you consider the huge change in how Quintus in the CoP looks compares to his Earthspark look. This is why I really don't want to make too many assumptions before we actually get confirmation via a new guidebook or in cartoon lore drops (which is probably happening in season 2, since that's the norm for cartoons nowadays). There are a few I'm going to say are probably present: Alpha Trion (ever since G1, he's pretty much associated with giving Optimus the Matrix in some form or another, plus his shoulder pads and cape are a dead give away), Quintus Prime (again, looking very dissimilar to his CoP appearance), Nexus Prime (simply because he's holding the Enigma and nothing else), Prima (due to him holding the Star Saber and his head crest), Leige Maximo (mostly bc the horns, though this LM has some other interesting design choices which I will talk about later), Vector Prime (the head shape mostly), Megatronus (because of the Requiem Blaster and nothing else), Solus Prime (the hammer and the "hair coming out from behind her head), and Onyx/Alchemist Prime (can't decide which one it is, namely because the relic looks like the lenses but the figure has a lot of "animalistic" features, namely the bird wings, which fits Onyx well). Again, for the people familiar with the Transformers, the designs of these Primes really take a departure from a lot of familiar design attributes established in some of the Aligned literature. However I see this as a kind of positive given several reasons, including that I wasn't a big fan of the Aligned stuff (save for maybe Rescue Bots) and that Earthspark is doing it's own thing and it works. However, there is a very strange case of the fact that Micronus Prime doesn't seem to be among the 13, which might mean Micronus has a different look, that the 13 Primes aren't exactly being potrayed as they actually are (though this was kind of jossed by Quintus Prime's appearance in the show).

The one's I've circled in pink are ones I think look feminine. The Leige Maximo one really stands out to me as the design's face and hips look feminine or, rather different from other Primes wearing the robe like feature over the lower half of their bodies. It could be me just making some assumptions, but it really feels like that. In addition, there's another Prime next to Solus (who has been the sole female Prime in the line up), who also has some features that look to me to be somewhat feminine, with the hip, waist shape and facial features, along with what kind of looks like a little bit of hair coming out from their head or is it a head crest? I kind of want to call this Prime "Amazon Prime" as it's kind of an inside joke among Transformers fans. Then again, it could be nothing, since Earthspark has a lot of design variation and I could be just putting alot of stock on designs that probably aren't standardized.

So those are my thoughts, I've been waiting a while to post my completed thoughts, so I hope this isn't too long a read.

you're probably one of about 50 people that still care about the thirteen primes so i have to ask; have you ever drawn Thirteen or have any hcs for them? :)

I've never drawn 13 before or even thought about them that much, so, here goes!

Number 13, also known as Optimus Prime.

Optimus is the youngest of the 13 primes. I saw many people imagining him as in more of a toddler age, but in my head he's a young adult teenager (about 18-19 years old).

Optimus was Prima's special boi. Prima forgave him his quirky little adventures quickly and easily, because he always had his sibling's best interests in mind.

His quirky little adventures usually included taking the Star saber and without anybody's knowledge and only Micronus' help charging into battle with whatever threat was looming over his family.

While Optimus was very fond of the Star saber (that he couldn't possibly use in a proper manner), he had weaponry of his own in form of a supernova revolver and the hope dagger.

Both created by his beloved sister figure, Solus. Solus even trusted 13 with her hammer so Optimus can make bullets for himself whenever he needed.

Sadly, 13 was a part of the reason why the primes started falling apart. Prima got paranoid and overprotective of Optimus and forbid him to contact Megatronus in fear that he might hurt 13.

Ironically, if 13 had a chance to complete his physical development in time of peace (as he was created in his middle life stage instead of fully formed), he would turn out to be the most Unicronic prime ever created.

His abilities started to show themselves very early on, as he brought Prima back from her total shock on the Unicron battlefield. Later, that ability began evolving to the point when 13 could bring back people from near death, if they had enough spark energy.

During the war of primes, while everyone was busy trying to rip one another to shreds, he dragged Liege's dying carcass close to Solus and tried bringing them both back. Dying Onyx followed him and thanks to the spell's light was saved from looming death. It is however unknown what happened after. When Onyx woke up, his wounds were halfway healed, and the skies had cleared. There was no Optimus in sight, and only a silhouette from where Solus and Maximo once were.

And so the cybertronian legend says, that Optimus prime might still be around.

amalgamous prime (TF: Broken Mythos)

Amalgamous!! The playful jokester and shapeshifter of the Primes.

her story is a bit of a wip, but she was created from the remains of predacons by Unicron. Later on is the first to join Onyx in his effort to turn the predacons against their creator Unicron. Like Onyx, was later appointed a prime by Primus.

She's lighthearted and curious, very interested in how things work and creation itself. Not of life, but of things, and later on figures out how to make music and pictures on the walls.

She's made up of molten metal and loose plating which allow for fluid movement and quick transformation. Her t-cog also contains her spark
