Wellness Wednesday:
Doubts Creepin' In
Couple of weeks ago I said I wanted to "finish strong" - I wanted to weigh the lowest I've ever weighed on my last weigh-in, I have a few unwritten goals that I want to surpass, and I want to skate into the New Year flawless on my diet.
Well,
I have become extremely snacky recently. I am still eating "clean" but the portions are getting out of control.
The recent Snack Attack obviously hasn't helped my weightloss progress
And...
I got a Family Holiday Dinner coming around corner just before my penultimate weigh-in and I don't know if I can resist all the side dishes... especially since I will be deprived of my most coveted Holiday Elixirs - I'm talking about the Three Wise-Men of Winter Goodness:
Cranberry Punch,
Eggnog,
and Hot Chocolate
Hot Damn, I will miss thee three.
Lastly - I absolutely cannot stand working out/exercising at the moment. Every work has been completed begrudgingly.

Trước đây em đã nghĩ rằng mình sẽ kết hôn ở năm ba mươi tuổi hoặc không. Nhưng mỗi độ tuổi khác nhau, cách nhìn nhận về một vấn đề nó cũng rất khác.
Nếu mọi thứ suôn sẻ, kết hôn sớm hơn một vài năm cũng không tệ, nếu mọi thứ không suôn sẻ kết hôn muộn hơn một vài năm cũng không vấn đề gì nhưng nhất định em sẽ kết hôn.
Người yêu cũ, anh ấy đã nói với em rằng “kết hôn với anh nhé”. Rất nhiều người đã hỏi em rằng “có muốn kết hôn cùng anh không?” nhưng đã không có ai mang nhẫn và hoa đến.
Em không phải là một người hoàn hảo và em yêu cái cách mà anh chấp nhận những điều không hoàn hảo nơi em, em yêu dáng vẻ mà anh vui cười mỗi khi chúng ta nhìn thấy nhau, em yêu mọi thứ nơi anh ngay cả khi có những điều mà em chưa hiểu hết được.
Ở lần trò chuyện đầu tiên, em đã thích anh ngay rồi chỉ là em đã không đủ can đảm để nuông chiều cảm xúc của riêng mình như những ngày xưa. Em muốn anh thoải mái, em sợ bắt đầu chuyện yêu đương.
Em - người con gái với rất nhiều tổn thương. Nhưng anh chưa bao giờ biết vì ngày mà anh đến anh đã mang đi hết những nỗi đau mà em chưa bao giờ nguôi ngoai.
Em sẽ yêu anh bằng cả trái tim mình, em trân trọng anh, trân trọng những cảm xúc tình cảm mà anh mang đến.
Tương lai sau này, nếu may mắn chúng mình vẫn được cạnh bên nhau. Nếu không may mắn anh sẽ nhìn thấy em mặc váy cưới tay nắm tay cùng người con trai khác bước vào nhà thờ, còn anh sẽ cùng người con gái khác trọn đời bên nhau.
Nhưng sau cùng, vẫn không thể nào chối bỏ được chúng ta của những năm tháng ấy đã một lòng một dạ yêu thương nhau.
Mỗi một khoảnh khắc ở hiện tại đều là cùng anh và em sẽ luôn trân trọng.

Is it everything that you did? You don���t know, you don’t care anymore. You and Seokmin have been fighting over the last hour and at this point you don’t even remember what the fight was originally about. You look at Seokmin to see his angry face that was so much in contrast with his usual bright personality.
“Seokmin, can we stop? I don’t even remember what this was about?” you groan getting tired as he shuts his mouth abruptly staring at you. There was something in your face that showed him it was not you just getting tired.
Something was bothering you.
“What is it?” he asked, his voice suddenly becoming gentle and you sighed muttering a 'nothing'. The truth is you hated fights, you don't want them to happen with somebody you love.
“It is something,” he continues after a short pause and you nod your head to a ‘no’. You just felt relieved that he has stopped fighting and it is better.
“So what, this was your excuse for stopping me?” Seokmin mutters, feeling angry again and you panic. That will be the last thing you want.
“No, Seok, okay listen,” you speak hurriedly as he sighs and sits down on the couch. “I hate fights, I always think they are the cause of problems,” you say after a minute as he looks up at you.
“I know my parents are a good couple but when they used to fight, I always thought they would get divorced or something bad would happen, I feel like fights ruin relationships,” you finish resting your head on the cushion.
“That is a very wrong idea,” Seokmin speaks up after sinking in your words. “Occasionally, people fight, even if they love each other, it can never destroy a relationship. Provided, it is occasional, or rare. People will disagree, your parents will too and we will too. That doesn’t mean they would stop loving each other, or I would stop loving you. Fights, rare ones, are symbols of a healthy relationship,” he says, looking at you.
You nod slowly, taking in his words, you have never considered this perspective, always being too afraid of everything in a fight and neither have you confessed about this to anybody. “You are right,” you reply after a minute.
He shrugged replying, “Of course I am, you are dating this very insightful person who has the best intellectuals,” he smirks and you deadpan, “Don’t push your luck.”
“Okay,” he grinned as you felt relieved suddenly everything was off your chest and you felt better.
“I know you feel better right now but a kiss on my lips would make it best,” Seokmin said, puckering his lips as you rolled your eyes and pecked him lightly. He smiles like an idiot as you laugh. He is your idiot.

The highlight of my week was eating racks of BBQ Ribs... followed by meatballs... and Chicken Enchiladas... I probably should not of... but I did.
And don't forget about the deli meats and cheeses - lordy - you'd think I had guests to entertain with my charcuterie game.
And of course the week after I declare that I want to finish my Year of Wellness strong - I get in a snacky mood.

The Good:
Had some enjoyment reading - read a slew of Digital Comics and been burning through a hardcover book. Feels were that I made that distinction - "hardcover" book - but hey, I had to go all the way to local library for it.
The Bad:
With the end in sight - I am getting incredibly snacky... thus hurting my resolution to "finish the year strong".
The Ugly:
This Quest for Sleep feels Never Ending and making a little... cranky.

Chapters 51-53 are. so funny, but in a sweet way?? in regards of Atsushi's feelings for Akutagawa.
He hates him. He sincerely looks remorseful for hurting him. He hurts him again five minutes later. He saves Akutagawa's life by what cannot be mistaken by anything but an hug. He looks so upset when Akutagawa is breaking down and actively helps him (cheers him up, even?). He refuses to answer Akutagawa's questions. He perfectly works with Rashomon. His takeaway from all of that is that “me and Akutagawa could never work together”.
