Why 8th House/Pluto Synastry is Karmic and Transformative:

(May feel more true for those who have attachment style issues and that have low self worth/value due to past partnerships/parents)

When someone's Pluto touches your inner planets or if someone's inner planets fall into your 8th house then this type of connection will feel all-consuming, intense, deep and expectations for how the other partner should act is overwhelmingly present; even if you wish their actions wouldn't cause a reaction, logic ceases to exist.

The reason why these feelings are so transformative is because, with this person, once they're next to you they bring you this acceptance within where you allow yourself to let someone in, their presences allows your soul to accept loves offer and for once you aren't afraid of letting that wall you've built crumble down.

Within the midst of this, your soul is aware of how damaging the lack of them will cause, you're aware of the destruction you will feel if they walk away, you're aware that if they leave all that pain you've shunned away will reach the surface and overflow into your main airway, leaving you unable to breathe, leaving you unable to feel the version you wish you were when you're next to them.

And yet the second you decide you've had enough, the second you let the value that they give you go, the value and worthiness you've longed for will welcome you in, with open arms, and with grace.

The second you let the version of you that you thought they gave you; go, you'll start to become aware of the change and transformation within, once you choose yourself, once you decide your soul is worthy, valuable, and deserving of the type of care you never got to touch; the you that was once was will no longer be present, the you that once was will no longer take over your consciousness, and it will never hold power over you.

You'll become aware of the fact that the love your soul was searching for was there all along, hiding away into the depth of your consciousness, before that key waltzed in, this part of you was afraid of making itself seen, it was afraid of accepting the one thing it wanted the most.

And so that one key that you were clinging onto was only the first step into receiving the unconditional love your highest self knows you deserve.

They had to walk away for you to be able to find that missing puzzle piece that was hiding inside of you.

This synastry is so transformative because with this type of pain, brings in immense growth, compassion, understanding and self worth that never once seemed plausible, it brings in unconditional love that you never thought was safe, it brings in the self value that you searched for in other people's gazes, and it brings in letting go of the need for others souls to make you feel whole.

Once you grieve and let go of that past self, all your wounds, all your hidden fears, your resistance to embrace love's offer will pave the way for a renewal, birthing the version of yourself that your highest self always recognized within.

Once you're capable of releasing that self doubt and undergo the transformation your soul is asking for within, will you then be able to open your heart to accept true love, care, and acceptance that someone else can give.

(Don’t Bite the Hand That Feeds You)

Two old sayings that have colored much of my experience as an 8th house dominant person for a good part of my life. Beyond the sex, occult and transformation themes, one of the most under-recognized signifiers of the 8th house is the connection to other people’s resources. It sounds mundane on the surface, and it is, but growing up and looking at my childhood and adolescence in retrospect I began to understand the depth of how it plays out.

And one of my favorite movies and characters illustrated it before my very eyes.

In Titanic, Rose is showered in gifts, presents and jewels bigger than she can handle. She is gifted things from other people, from a lavish wedding on behalf of her mother to the Heart of the Ocean from her fiancé down to the first-class tickets onto the Titanic on its maiden voyage. While she can play it all up and she does appreciate it, one thing is clear; She never asked for any of it. The 8th House is the house of other people resources, opposite the 2nd house of our own resources.

Rose is never consulted for her opinion, takes or even how she feels about any of the things people shower her with. Her mother disregards the lavender color theme she wants with her wedding, talking about her when discussing it but never actually involving her in the conversation.

The 8th House is opposite the 2nd House, the house of voice and speech.

She’s treated like a child, “meant to be seen and not heard.”

Her fiancé Cal orders her food for her like a child, down to the temperature of the meat.

Her family and friends have celebrated her engagement and impending wedding. Her mother dotes on her fiancé. Her fiancé has their plans set for when they land. She seemingly has it made with the perfect man, wedding and life. But until Jack, no one ever asks her how she feels about the wedding or if she even loves her fiancé to begin with. She says “it feels like i’m standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming to the top of my lungs and no one even looks up.” And that colors a lot of experiences with the 8th house, being on the receiving end of other people’s resources without being asked if you even want them or having any input in them at all.

And running the risk of being called ungrateful if you don’t want them.

Rose feels trapped. She describes the opulent heart of the ocean diamond necklace that many would have died for as a dog collar. But she still hesitates to leave. When Jack comes into the picture and her mother realizes she may be tempted to throw her plan out of wack, she accuses Rose of being selfish and threatens the idea of a poor, dishonorable, shameful existence with them losing everything they have and working as seamstresses. The 8th House is an extreme house, it doesn’t know nuance, it doesn’t know the middle ground.

The 8th House: you accept all the resources other’s have to give you or they threaten to rip the rug out from under you completely.

In the 8th House, you run the risk of people gifting you things with the intention of controlling you.

Dangling their resources in your face like a cat toy.

In the end however, it leads 8th Housers out of the dark into the 9th House, a house defined by independence, adventure and risk. A life very similar to Jack and the path he was able to give her a glimpse of.

The path that she ultimately took for herself.

In the most extreme examples, such as mine, it may even make one hyper-independent but for the better. At the conclusion, Rose was able to give it all up and go live the life she built for herself, based on choices she made for herself and define herself outside of the things given to her, but with things she gave and made for herself.

As an 8th houser, like Rose, you realize people would gift you with things not for you, but for them.

Also, eventually like Rose, you stopped being scared of refusing things people gave you if you didn’t really want it. You, cautiously, learn to trust others but most of all you learn to trust yourself and your own resources to get you ahead, your own resources physically and mentally.

And they worked.

It worked for me

❈ Libra moon 🤝 relationship advice consultant, nahh fr they always ended up being a mediator in relationship problems like friendships or love at least once in their life. (I feel like this is a universal experience to all libra moons)

❈ Aries venus have a fear of commitment including friendships, even with an earth sun like a Taurus sun.

❈ Water sign in the 4th house cusp could indicate water themes with your childhood home or childhood in general. For example: you might've took swimming classes in your childhood, lived near a beach/lake/pond/pool, your relatives/siblings/yourself have an incident with things related to water etc.

❈ Mars square IC, I hope y'all are doing okay ❤️ We know that the IC represents childhood & square is not the best aspect to have. When it comes to Mars (aggressive planet) squaring the IC, this could indicate that in your childhood there could be incidents with physical aggressive behaviour with your family like fighting/arguing with your siblings. To the point where you might get scars/bruises from your family members.

❈ Mercury 10H, I'll tell you a little secret, they're everywhere (Snapchat, instagram, tiktok etc.) If you don't see them posting, chances are you're not in their close friend stories on insta. I swear they post everyday with multiple stories throughout the day even during exam seasons 💀. I ain't never seen them not posting. If you see their profile being organised & aesthetic, that's just an illusion hun. They probably have internal chaos on the inside. Their fashion choice *chef's kiss*, model material.

❈ 11H stelliums and their connections with ppl are no joke. They know ppl who are models, doctors, dentists to anyone who's well off. They might have free premium/membership cards or gifts received from those ppl.

❈ Something that I've noticed is that for those sagittarius placements whose grades aren't the best in their early years usually do well than their peers in highschool/University. Sagittarius is involved with higher education so that explains why.

❈ The planets/planet that has the 8H represents what physical problems you have with your body. For example sun 8H: scoliosis, mercury 8H: skin/indigestion problems, venus 8H: kidney problems.

❈ I've read that aquarius/11H placements especially stelliums can attract/attracted to ppl who might be well known in the future. This might be a theory but they might tend to attract 8H/scorpio placements or 2H/taurus placements (maybe even 10H/capricorn placements) cuz those signs deals with money & potential fame.

❈ Leo 4H cusp means that in their childhood they might be spoiled by their parents/caretaker, they might buy "royalty" things like fancy gifts/toys/clothing cuz leo is royalty. Their parents might've took a lot of pictures of them and they might act spoiled too as a child.

Vesta (4) in harsh aspects with Venus/Moon are the meaning of "No matter how kind you are, you can still get hurt". They usually are very kind people but it can happen for them to be so hurt

Juno (3) in harsh aspects with Ceres (1) shows that you need some amount of nurturing and love in relationships and the same can happen for your spouse they can be the type of people who got hurt pretty often and need this nurturing,love, support etc..I feel like people with these aspects love harder/different and can happen to need a lot of physical touch/love

The 8th house is a special house where all things dark can be brought to the light on a regular day to day basis. With just yourself, it can be powerful yet vulnerable. Neptune in the 8th house can go through loads of spiritual transformations with their vision/third eye. Like the veil is super thin with them already, however with time they go through a process where it becomes the norm to see pretty strange things. Dreams are always on 10, and theres always a message about secrets/occult knowledge in them from time to time. They could learn things they shouldn't know about people in this house through the process of astral travel & dreams. psychic abilities are usually being an oracle, a seer or medium.

Uranus 8th house can get loads of insight in the most craziest circumstances. Near death experiences can happen but isn't always likely. Survival Of The Fittest

For those who are affected by Scorpio/8th house/12th house: scorpio rising/moon in scorpio/venus in scorpio/moon in 8th house/venus in 8th house/pluto in 1st house/pluto in 8th house/pluto in 12th house/12th lord in 8th house/7th lord in 8th house/8th lord in 7th house/inner planets in 8th house/Saturn in 8th house/Sun in 12th house

The phrase 'Survival Of the Fittest' was coined by Herbert Spencer after he was inspired by Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species. Spencer drew parallels between his own economic theories and Darwin's biological theories and said "This survival of the fittest, which I have here sought to express in mechanical terms, is that which Mr. Darwin has called 'natural selection', or the preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life." We, in astro community, can draw a similar parallel to the astrological theories that indicate a difficult emotional, psychological, mental, physical, fated and spiritual life. Even Carl Jung associated collective unconscious to the genetic memory that exists in all of humanity universally.

Survival of the fittest means that organisms that are better adapted to their environment are best suited to survive and successfully reproduce. It also explains how evolution occurs in species by means of natural selection of those traits that are better adapted to a given set of environmental conditions. We read all this in school textbooks and forget it all when we walk into the real world.

Having difficult 8th house/12th house placements is like the Sisyphean task when he was condemned to roll a boulder up a hill, only to have it fall near the top, forcing him to start over and over again. This is what it feels like to be battling the unknown, unseen, intangible psychic forces of the 8th and 12th houses that emerge in the awareness from time to time endlessly. You are stuck in a situation that you cannot explain in words so you seek answers in symbolism, esoteric, dreams, psychology, magic and otherworldly pursuits because your problems are simply not visible to the naked eyes.

4. The paradox of life is that even though we are born with difficult life stories, the world does not have space for the weak, dependent, miserable. On one hand, this creates isolation, victim mentality, bitterness, "nobody understands me", "society is so insensitive to mental health issues". But on the other hand, we realize that we are just animals, some really smart animals that can think, write, civilize, earn money, reproduce, make laws, run the system, yet we are just animals in the hands of natural laws. The law of nature, therefore, is survival of the fittest, to become strong, adapt, improvise, improve, evolve, grow.

5. The point of this post is not laziness but exhaustion/victim mindset/bitterness/feeling left behind tendencies in native who had to spend a lot of times in healing, battling their psychological issues that appear invisible to the physical eyes and living with a sense of "what is wrong with me?"

6. To them, I just want to say that do not let the exhaustion tear you down. The environments of 8th and 12th houses are such emergency provoking, life threatening, dark, hidden, unknown, distant from physical life, invisible to naked eyes, emotionally draining and psychically charged. How you learn to accept your fate and live along with it is in your hands. I too had to come to terms with the constant ups and downs of my story, the sudden detours and catastrophe of my story, sometimes the sadistic undertones and stagnancy of my story, but in the end I realized that I was the saviour to my own fallen angel. Whether it is my past life karma, intergenerational karma or random allotment of fates, I would not live in bitterness and envy of those who have it easier, better and colourful. Learning to adapt to the environments of 8th and 12th houses is a real challenge, a very difficult one, not written in books but usually comes to knowedge intuitively and that is why it is so hard to understand and codify in language.

7. Finally, I do not have any advice or rulebook for 8th/12th housers, for each person has their own unique solution. I would just like to say that time is running out, you have already seen the theme of your life until now, be brave, pull yourself up and make peace with your traumatic memories. And maybe, find attract people who are also in a similar attitude as you. People who understand when you say "No I don't want to watch a movie right now, I want to journal some of my thoughts and emotions."
