Buddie Wedding Season 10👀?

The interviewer joked and said "And what I think I heard you say is possibly by season 10, there might be a wedding. I mean you know".

With his gorgeous smile, OS replied, "Between me and Eddie?"

Interviewer: "You just said it not me."

OS: "Headline created!" He laughs then says, "Oliver says."

They both laugh then OS says, "Who knows?

This is one of the cutest interviews and I love seeing OS so happy. He's so excited for what's to come for Buck and Eddie that his cheeks are just as rosy as RG's were during the pre-season interviews.

They're both so happy to finally be able to talk about Buck and Eddie the way they should have been able to do back at the end of season 4 after the shooting.

F*X tried to stop this awesome ship from sailing but TM fought to get the show picked up by ABC and now the entire cast is being celebrated and appreciated.

I can't wait to see what's getting ready to happen with Buck & Eddie and the Buckley-Diaz Family. Their love confessions should have happened years ago but it will happen and with the way things have been going in season 7, it might happen sooner than the audience thinks.

OS and RG out here in these "Buddie Streets" sharing things to let us Buddie Shippers know we saw Buck's and Eddie’s undying love for each other and they did too. They're soulmates who share a once in a lifetime, love of their lives type of love that transcends space and time.

okay here is how i see things. (based on recent interviews and discussions and a cameo)

nobody actually knows if buddie will go canon. not Tim, not Oliver and Ryan, not the network or showrunners. call me to trusting but i fully believe that. we’ve had Tim mentioning how he hasn’t been writing much in advance, especially this season, and we know about all the last minute changes that have been happening (switching of ep 4 and 5, Tommy with Buck instead of Eddie,…). now obviously he must have some overarching idea where the characters are heading and their motivations are, and on top of that we can clearly see he’s been building both Buck and Edie into the potential of being a thing. but i don’t think anybody has decided if they will actually go there. we can also all agree it won’t happen within the next few episodes, most likely not until season 8 or further.

there is a difference between buddie storyline and any other characters, because obviously buddie has been something we’ve been screaming about for years. but for the writers and showrunners themselves it’s not that different. they do listen to us but they’re also not gonna close themselves off to other options for the two guys. they’re aiming for a long running show.

do i think buddie will happen? without a doubt. i just don’t think it’s exactly planned out yet. so when ppl say Ryan and Oliver are “dropping hints” i genuinely think they’re just speaking their own mind. it’s all good vibes now since certain people are not in charge of the show anymore.

once again, someone probably already said it, buuuut have we considered the possibility that eddie might tell buck tomorrow that he's always gonna have buck's back in a clear callback to them first bonding in 2x1 AND the convo in the firetruck in 5x18 where ravi said 'isn't that what we all want in a partner? knowing that they have your back?', making it both about platonic partnership AND romantic partnership?

because I personally might actually need to be sedated for a full 48h afterwards if that DOES happen

This might sound crazy, but wouldn't it be something if Chris ended up being a catalyst for Buck and Eddie to have their respective realizations about themselves and just, everything?

Like Eddie's still dating Marisol unfortunately, Buck's still dating Natalia why god why, and Chris kinda begins to distance himself from both of them and it's making his parents concerned as all hell, especially Eddie. And it isn't until Chris ends up in the middle of a Eddie/Marisol and Buck/Natalia double date and storms off that Eddie and Buck can't take it anymore and go ask Chris what's been going on. And Chris just goes off on both of them:

"Before, it always used to be just the three of us! But now, we're barely together anymore and if it's not because of work, it's because of them! Why can't it just be us?"

And it isn't until everything has calmed down, the girls are gone, and Buck and Eddie are in their respective rooms ready to crash that they just stop and think:

"Why can't it just be us?"

And that's when Buck FINALLY recognizes the hamster wheel he's been on and puts a full stop to it by dumping Natalia and Eddie realizes that he's just not into Marisol and breaks things off.

After that, they spend the rest of the season just focusing on themselves, upgrading the Buckley-Diaz family and going through their respective bi/queer awakenings before the end of the season, where either Buck is the one pining or there's mutual pining from both Buck and Eddie.

The natural assumption is that the knee brace and compression sock is acknowledging Bucks previous leg injury. However, it was his left leg that got crushed not his right. It’s obvious there’s an injury but I have 3 potential explanations.

There’s an old injury from Buck’s childhood or time as a football player. Something not discussed in detail but we know Buck played football and we know he was a little reckless when it can to his safety.

Because of the crush injury to he left leg at the end of season 2, over the last few years Buck has taken extra care not to do anything to aggravate the injury. Him babying that leg caused he to put more stress on the other and it created an issue - this is something that has happened to someone in my family. They had a bad knee, leaning weight on the other leg more to take care of the bad knee lead to a deterioration in the good one. Now both have not cartilage 😅

This is a new injury, have occurred during the rescue in episode 3. In the one photo you can see Eddie’s back is to Buck while Buck moves toward him with his arms out. It doesn’t completely look like a defensive move for a light hearted game at the park, but it does looks defensive. Eddie’s turned his back in the middle of the game?

We only have one week to see if they even acknowledge the knee brace, there’s a chance they won’t even talk about it. But we will find out tonight if there is a new injury.

Ok. But like. It’s canon that Eddie slept with Shannon, like once, and then they got married. (because she got pregnant).

So what now if buddie becomes canon, and they sleep together?. …Buck moving in? Adoption papers for Chris and Buck?? So like what if Maddie throws her bouquet and is so excited she over-throws it/the throw goes wrong and it somehow lands on Eddie/in his arms? Does this mean then after the Madney wedding Buddie will be engaged? Marriage? Does this cause the wine spilt and mini fire? So many questions..

Now, of course, I decided to look up the lyrics from the two beach scenes from the two Top Gun movies (@diazass, I'd like to partially blame you but Tim himself made this a must), because I was thinking about what songs would be a thematic continuation for the 9-1-1 basketball scene.

guessing what’s gonna happen because i’m bored and cannot stop thinking about them

so on the call with the guy who can’t control him hand we see that buck is gonna get choked, i’m assuming when they get the guy off of buck and under control, hen and chim will be tending to him and trying to figure out what happened so that leaves none other than eddie to check up on buck… you know because he is a trained paramedic not any other reason like plot development or anything. but now that call could be before the tension between them is resolved so it’s kinda awkward (i’m assuming it’s this and buck gets to go home early which is why we see the stills with buck in civies and eddie at the gym) or after the tension is resolved and it’s awkward because they are in each other’s space for the first time since the basketball game

anyway it plays out is gonna be super interesting and it’ll be a fun episode i’m sure

My take on why we don't know if there is a season 7 of 9-1-1 yet and why we have had so many breaks this season.

I'm hoping they are planning something big with the ending, something that will break the TV mold by having two main characters who have so far been classed as cannonically straight, showing their love for each other (c'mon Buddie)

I think the breaks are so that any backlash this causes will not be shown in the ratings before the season 7 announcement as the ending has been delayed for more weeks than usual.

Do I think Tommy has actually done something awful? No.

Will I continue to doubt that over the next 3 weeks? Yes.
