theory time: i strongly believe delilah briarwood is a demilich with a phylactery inside of laudna (either literally or spiritually) and she was for most of c1 a full lich*

obviously delilah isnt playing into typical demilich flavouring and has a unique statblock BUT. the skeleton face being revealed during her combat, the obsession with trying to gain power thru laudna via gnarlrocks, and significantly weakened state from previous encounters definitely makes me feel like she fits the criteria.

following delilah's dissolving, vecna brought her back and assisted in the creation of a phylactery inside of the recently hung body that had innate magic (the unintended result of this was the resurrection of laudna, of course). delilah runs around as a baby lich for a while, gets killed, comes back, and then gets killed again. however, now that vecna is gone, her phylactery gets a little Weird. delilah comes back, but just her soul, and without a way to feed more souls to her phylactery, shes stuck in laudna as a disembodied demilich ^_^ the reason delilah wants the gnarlrocks and their magic is because if she regains enough magic, she could manifest an actual body again
