some more security waiter + slight ness and Susie sibling AU headcanons while I work on more fazgang AU art
Ness is the type to play music when he wakes up to help energize himself, doesn’t help that he wakes up at around 5:30 AM and Mike has to deal with the loud ass musical theater music until ness leaves for work
ness has always loved theorizing but started intensely theorizing after susie went missing. Mike just has to sit there and be like “idk ness…that seems a little far fetched” (everything ness is saying has happened and mike knows it:
Ness loves baking, he can’t cook for shit but he can cook. Mike is the opposite and can’t bake for crap. So mike is in charge of cooking meals and ness is in charge of making the birthday cakes for Abby’s bdays (and mikes cause ness is just like that)
Mike loves ness to death but he cannot stand musicals, he finds them quite annoying but Abby and ness love them so he puts his hatred for them aside.
Ness and Susie’s parents use to take them to the same camp grounds as mikes family. They were there the day Garret went missing and ness often says how he had to leave because “some kid got taken”. Ness insists that him and Mike met a few times at the camp grounds but Mike can’t remember it so he constantly denies it.
Mikes is the big spoon, when he holds on to something it helps ground him while he sleeps so he doesn’t have a nightmare. Ness doesn’t mind at all but considering he’s taller being the little spoon is definitely an awkward position sometimes. (Tall guy issues)
The first Christmas the trio spent together after ness moved in, Abby ran in at around 4 am and jumped on top of them while they were asleep and in bed to tell them that “Santa came” (Mike wasn’t happy.)
Ness loves to dance, Mike has two left feet, they make it work.
When hanging out with the fazgang, ness and Mike will text each other (even if they are in the same room)
One time ness was talking about susie and Abby said “oh I know Susie! She’s my friend!” (Mike cut her off before she could finish tho and internally panicked)
Ness is a muppets enthusiast, has all the movies and song tracks, and even owns some memorabilia.
Ness has a replica of the Kermit puppet that he sometimes uses and he once accidentally left it sitting upright on the kitchen counter and when Mike went to get a glass of water in the middle of the night he turned on the light and screamed not knowing what it was (ness won’t let him live it down).
Mike is half Mexican and knows Spanish and ness asks him to “speak Spanish to him” sometimes because he thinks it’s romantic. He’d do this for a month or two before he recognized Mike say the word “chicken” and when he asked Mike what he’s been saying to him for the last month Mike goes “oh whenever you tell me to speak Spanish to you I just repeat a recipe I know”
Ness uses a concerning amount of hair spray (almost to a toxic level) so Mike makes him open a window whenever he’s getting his hair ready.
Ness and Mike once went on a date and left Cory with Abby and Cory ended up falling asleep on the couch so Abby, not wanting to wake him but still wanting to talk to someone, took their phone line and called 911 (it’s the only number she knows) and Mike and ness had to cut their night short to come home to reprimand Abby on who she calls.

What if Vanessa's name isn't actually Vanessa, and it turns out she's Charlie, who was kidnapped by William at a young age and abused so she would suppress her memories?
Now, you might be wondering, "What would that mean for the actual plot?"
Sammy Emily is the Puppet, and he wasn't asking Mike to find him. He was asking his sister.
Garret is still very much around and part of the plot, but THIS would be a plot twist that barely anyone would see coming.
The whole plotline in the books is that one of the Emily kids is kidnapped, which sets off the whole story into motion. This could be a "What if" scenario where BOTH were kidnapped.
Everyone expects it to be Garret, and that's exactly why it (maybe) isn't!
We got to stretch this story into a trilogy, so having the big plot twist revealed in the second film just doesn't make much sense story wise
(That also isn't really how Scott writes from what I can tell. He's a "wait for the last moment," kind of guy)

My (ALL POSITIVE) thoughts on the FNAF movie below the cut!! Warning for spoilers!!
In no particular order:
I like the changes they made to the lore. I kinda expected it of them, since the books and the games are separate universes (ish) I figured it would be the same for the movie.
I was wondering if Afton would turn out to be Mike's dad. He clearly recognized Mike's name so my first thought was maybe Mike's family had changed their name after Afton left (Mom remarried maybe?) or that Afton had married Mike's mom under the assumed name of Schmidt for whatever reason. I thought this was a particularly good scene because it's a good hint for what ACTUALLY happens in the movies but also kinda trips up the people familiar with the game lore specifically.
The fucking GASPS that echoed through the theater when Vanessa said Afton was her father. Fucking awesome!!
The diner scene was awesome. Both for Matpat (who I didn't hear ANY of his lines because the audience was clapping and laughing too loud and I'm not even mad, him popping out of nowhere like that was amazing) and for the lawyer. Poor Doug. That actor did an amazing job.
Circus Baby!!!
Overall I think it was a very tight narrative, a very good way of condensing the core elements of the first 3 games into a movie in a way that's compelling to watch.
The idea of Afton manipulating them even after death, and just having his general evilness influence them was a good way to make them a threat to Abby without vilifying them.
Thoughts on the future because you better believe there's a future (I'm hoping for a trilogy that covers the events of the games pre-Help Wanted, then a paradigm shift in the 4th movie similar to the one we got Help Wanted. But that's years away and who knows what the game series will look like at that point?):
Vanessa is in a coma, so I suspect Afton will be tormenting her in her dreams and pulling her into the whole Reluctant Follower role. (Or the movie equivalent I suppose, depending on how different it ends up being.)
Kinda wonder if the plot will involve some kind of renovation of the FNAF Movie 1 location? Since William owns the Pizzeria, and he's about to be declared either missing or dead, ownership will change hands. Possibly to Henry Emily or his movie equivalent?
I could see a scenario where they renovate the place and the ghosts just take over the new animatronics. Or possibly they just put new casing on the FNAF 1 animatronics? Or hell, maybe the movie won't do that kind of design overhaul and we won't see movie versions of the toy animatronics.
Or maybe we'll find out that William did a lot more killing and the other location is just there and already haunted. Possibly Garret is the puppet there, since they said he was never found.
The Circus Baby in the back, aside from being a cool reference Elizabeth, might hint at another location with a very different aesthetic already existing.

Ever since the movie finished and I got up after the post-post credit fnaf 2 teaser I've been so interested in who Charlie even is in this universe? and why Garret got randomly stolen away from a camp instead of any of Williams usual tricks, it felt very Charlie death coded if that makes sense? I definitely definitely feel like Garret is going to turn out to be the puppet kid instead of charlie alike to what people theorized bv to be and if your idea about gf kid is correct then they'd match up
Ohhh yeahyeahyeah!!!
I definitely think it's a possibility!!! I think it'd be a really neat twist is they kept Charlie alive in this universe and swapped her place with Garret instead- the movie seemed inspired by the Silver Eyes trilogy and since Charlie was (kinda) alive there, I could see it happening!!
Just uh Not like a Charliebot or anything yknow Just CharChar herself :]
So would that mean that Mike is essentially the Sammy of this universe?
Also the connection between Garret being the Charlie replacement and Abby, his sister, almost being springlocked in an Ella suit, which was the trilogy's "original" Charliebot/the power source of them ig? Just an interesting detail that might hold some merit here

Formalities (Fanfic)
New chapter from my main series 🩷
Frederick Garret was at his home, reading the newspaper, hearing about the incident that happened at the Opera House, and how a stalker and Geppetto's puppet were the ones to “save the day”. That puppet sure knows where to stick his nose in things that are none of his business, and sure what was happening inside the Opera House was not his doing, but he needed to get the girl, and had his men not been there earlier, they would have been caught by the crowd that formed inside the place.
“That's kind of scary isn't it?” Blue was trying to make conversation, “I know that it was because of the crystals but the idea of another frenzy happening is terrifying”
There is a huge commotion about the two puppets being the ones to have killed those people, another distraction that works to his advantage. Most people don't seem to believe another frenzy could happen, the explanation given by the workshop union was extremely reasonable, but still, some fear it could happen again.
A series of knocks could be heard, Frederick opened the door of his home and he saw the man that he had just been expecting.
“Mr. Conrad good to see you” Then Frederick turned to look at Blue Canary, “Would you mind giving us some privacy? Stand guard just in case, you never know what could happen these days”
“I understand,” Blue said in a formal voice, he is right after all, there was a body discovered nearby just yesterday, “If you need me for anything, just give me a shout”
Both men were in a luxurious room, as Frederick's mansion has many places where one can relax in peace, the many perks of being part of an affluent family and winning up to the thousands each month because of his services.
They made small talk for a few minutes before getting straight to the point.
“The shipment of the crystals will come tomorrow, and I added some extra, as the mining team is going to have some difficulties,” Conrad said.
“What difficulties?” Frederick did not like hearing that.
“Due to that earthquake that happened recently new precautions are being taken, the mine will shut down for two weeks” Conrad gave out a sigh, “Those extra were ones we use at the union, but I made sure to make everyone believe I was using them for a project”
“Very clever” In the end, Frederick was pleased with the results, although it could have gone better in his eyes.
They made more small talk again, but Frederick had in his mind Geppetto's puppet, surely Conrad must know a little about it.
“Mr. Conrad, what do you know about Geppetto?” Frederick knows that the key to Pinocchio is to get to his father first, “I’m just curious, I have heard nothing but praise for him over the years, although from time to time I have heard certain rumors”
“I don’t know what you have heard but they are probably right” Conrad poured himself another glass, “The man has issues, specially with grief, he likes to be in denial about his family dying, and I understand, that losing family is hard but come on”
“Are you saying that because of his puppet?”
“Of course, just look at that puppet!” Conrad was glad to finally rant about Geppetto, “An exact copy of Carlo, I’m surprised he didn’t give the thing the same name, although I wouldn’t be surprised if he calls it Carlo behind our backs” he just knows that Geppetto learned his lesson about giving the puppets the same names, considering what happened to his wife.
Conrad starts talking about how Pinocchio is a marvel of technology, something that proves how far puppet creation can go, something that breaks all the norms and all the limits, no puppet ever created by anyone else has come even close to Pinocchio, hell not even halfway there.
“And Geppetto uses it to play happy family? What a waste”
“It is a shame” Frederick doesn’t care about puppets at all but he has to play along.
“But it has always been obvious not sure why only some have started it to point it out now” Conrad takes a sip of his drink, “That other puppet, what was its name? Yeah Romeo”
Frederick is very aware of who Romeo is or rather was. Geppetto was so overprotective, he wouldn’t let any alchemists near it, hell he wouldn’t let anyone with any association with the alchemists get close to the puppet. He even heard that not even Valentinus despite the close friendship and despite how Valentinus allowed Romeo to attend school alongside Carlo.
“That puppet was so impressive as well and what did he use it for? To give Carlo a playmate obviously” It frustrated Conrad, he is a man who values technological advancement, a man that believes machines should have a purpose, to serve, to make things easier for humans and not exist for ridiculous things like that.
“I heard a rumor that Carlo married the thing before he passed away” Conrad rolled his eyes, “I mean it was obvious that Carlo was a faggot but I didn’t think he was also that type of degenerate”
Frederick is a man of high society, Geppetto’s son was well known by everyone, even by the common people. He had that infamous reputation of being a troublemaker, but also in some circles, there was the speculation that he “enjoyed the company of men”. The boy never had a girlfriend, he was handsome yet he rejected a few girls his age. It’s not illegal to be a homosexual in Krat like in many other places yet it’s not exactly well seen by most. Neither by Frederick, humans are supposed to reproduce to advance the human race, that kind of behavior only slows down valuable progress.
Conrad gave out a sigh “But the first and biggest red flag was when Camille passed and he built that puppet”
Camille, Frederick is even more knowledgeable about her, after all, he is the one who tore her apart to find the secret of why she awoke an Ego.
—-
“You are telling me this puppet became sentient?” Frederick was having a hard time believing it, “And how exactly did that happen?”
“That’s what we want you to figure out” Paracelsus had been the one tasked with explaining to Frederick what he is duty would be.
Frederick began to read the report, a puppet maid tasked with caring for a young boy, while she was making a meal he accidentally bumped into her while playing, the boiling water would have fallen onto him but she pushed him away, getting burned in the progress. Something that was not in her programming.
“She has only been around for a few months and she bonded with the child that quickly? Actually, can puppets even bond with people?” By that time Frederick had less of an idea of how they worked.
Paracelsus gave Frederick a few notes, “Apparently the Ergo of the puppet was made from the child’s mother”
“That’s oddly specific”
“Geppetto’s wife, he made the puppet himself using her Ergo”
Interesting, “And why me and not someone else?”
“Valentinus is busy and Simon and his followers are too busy planning things behind the man’s back”
“And you?” Frederick knows that Paracelsus isn’t supposed to be doing anything important right now.
“I’m making a new weapon, and I’ve been too busy with that”
Sometimes Frederick finds it hard to believe that Paracelsus can wield a weapon, considering how meek he looks and due to his playful demeanor but he can’t deny that the weapons he has made are very effective.
“I doubt anything interesting will come out of this but I have nothing better to do at the moment”
Send. Me. Back. To. My. Child.
The puppet kept repeating that over and over again, it was annoying, he ended up destroying her voicebox so that she wouldn’t distract him any longer, but he was proven wrong when he thought nothing interesting would come out of this. It showed the true power of Ergo, it showed the powerstone of life.
Everyone was delighted by this discovery and he expected to be praised by it. Not reprimanded.
“Did you really have to take her apart like that?” Valentinus asked as he was sent to his office, “Not just the puppet’s body but her Ergo?” Frederick was rather crude in his process, not caring about the machine that he completely broke. It was all for the sake of research.
“Of course I had to you know that” Frederick was looking around Valentinus's office, maybe the cleaners don’t get paid enough because dust is already accumulating, and it’s starting to bother him just being here.
Valentinus sighs, “Geppetto is a good friend but he is furious at me and Simon”
Frederick wasn’t paying attention to the rest of what Valentinus was saying, the uncleanliness was so much that he even started cleaning the place himself.
Valentinus was a good man, he wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, and he knows how Frederick has his strange obsession with cleanliness maybe it’s best he leaves.
“Frederick I appreciate the help but… never mind you are dismissed”
—-
“He even built her a statue in her name, how absurd” Conrad couldn't believe it all those years ago and he still can't believe it now, “Does he not realize how weird it is for everyone else? His wife dies and he builds a puppet, then his son dies and he builds a puppet and wants to pretend that’s normal?”
“Yes I heard of that, it does seem like Geppetto has a problem when it comes to losing loved ones, denial is a powerful thing” Frederick tapped his fingers on the table, “Does the man suspect anything of the disruption crystals?”
“He has no idea, the subdirector Harvey, he did try to investigate but I covered our tracks”
Frederick raised an eyebrow at that.
“Don’t worry, the man is too trusting, he was satisfied with a normal excuse and lies about where those shipments are going” Conrad did find out who was selling the crystals to that bakery and fired them immediately, “As for the ones in the Opera House, those are crystals that were supplied for a play legally, just that some idiot must have forgotten to get rid of them properly” That wasn't their problem so not something they had to worry about.
“Hopefully that’s the case, it would be a shame if all this research got wasted for something so simple as that”
“Speaking of, how is your research going?” Conrad has been intrigued since the first time he learned, in a way he believes he and Frederick are similar, he wants to push the limits of what a machine can do, and Frederick can push the limits of what a human can do. He was sold on the idea of finding a way to prolong life.
Although truthfully Conrad has no true idea of what he is contributing to, just the surface and he certainly has no idea of all the horrible things Frederick and his followers have done.
“Better than expected and for your support I’ll make sure that once everything is set in place you get to treat yourself to the fruits of our efforts” It’s not a complete lie, unlike Simon he isn’t dumb enough to get rid of every asset he has due to paranoia but he will delay as much as he can and not give him a proper version of the power of the stone.
Frederick looked at the clock, they still had a little more time to talk.
“Sorry for bringing him up again” Frederick doesn’t want to sound too obvious of his motives, “But the reason Geppetto has been in my mind, is I’ve seen him recently”
Only a few glances here and there, as Frederick has seen Geppetto in the waiting room for a collage of his, Conrad is right, Geppetto has issues since he knows that doctor is a psychiatrist.
“Don’t blame you for thinking about him, just like Venigni everyone talks about him and mostly positive things despite not being deserved” Conrad really hates those two, “If only I could prove how incompetent he truly is”
“Mmm,” Frederick thought out loud.
“What? Is something in your mind?”
“Oh no please forgive me, just remembering when I caught a glimpse of him, he goes to the hospital for some appointments, not with me however” Frederick was smiling he had the perfect idea.
“I had no idea he was having health issues” Conrad was surprised, Geppetto looked well for his age.
Frederick put his hand on Conrad’s shoulder, “You did not hear it from me, however, Geppetto’s doctor is the last one in the hall on the 4th floor”
A little something for Conrad to investigate and put two and two together.
Meanwhile Blue was wandering around the mansion, although the place already looked like it had been given a deep cleaning she decided to clean what she could as her client likes it when she does this for him, and while doing this, she heard one of the windows of the house being open, strange, no one else is supposed to be here right now, and upon closer inspection, someone had broken inside the home, Blue wasted no time in restraining them, it was easy as this person was only carrying a knife as a weapon, a knife he tried throwing at her but she used her lantern shield to deflect it.
“What is going on here?” Frederick demanded an explanation.
Conrad wasted no time in leaving already, just mentioning that he hoped to see him soon again.
“I know you are up to something Garret!” A woman was shouting, “The papers might try to silence me but I know the truth!”
“Great a yellow journalist” Frederick waved his hand, “Miss. Cassandra call the police and get rid of her”
“Yes sir” Blue did as she was told, the woman said nothing to her, no trying to convince her of whatever she was looking for, she didn't try to warn her about anything, she just kept quiet, it was odd so Blue assumed that she truly was just a yellow journalist, her family had to deal with one of those once, they broke into their home because they wanted “proof” of an affair because her and two other sisters don't look at all like their father, obviously they all don't look like exact copies of their mother or father that's how genetics work.
Still, this is too strange, the other day someone came to the doctor's office and began to threaten him and she had to intervene, she was outside when that happened so she entered the door quickly, she couldn't hear what that was about, she did hear the word Ergo, the man also mentioned how they used to work together before; yesterday someone was following them and she had to deal with that as well. But she is the one who wanted more action in her job, so maybe this is what she gets for asking.
According to the doctor, it is because he is a public figure and many don't like how he is doing for others. He is an excellent doctor, by most considered the best in Krat, even if he can be a little weird behind closed doors.
The police came and went, taking the woman away with them and the two of them were alone again.
“Good job” Frederick was praising her, “Specially for the cleaning perhaps you are better suited for being a maid or one to stay in the household, you clearly know what spots are the ones that get truly dirty and I assure you any man would love a quality like that one in a woman”
“Um… thank you?” It looked like the doctor didn't know what he could be implying when he said that.
“The maids don't work today, so if you could help me clean the rest of this place I'd appreciate it”
Well, he is paying her extra when she cleans and she doesn't mind it at all, so she does what he tells her, the doctor does seem to have some issues with it comes to what he thinks is “dirty” but well, more things to do for her. As she cleans the place, she moves around a few things there are many shelves filled with notebooks, all completely full, she doesn’t know how he can write so much, but she accidentally drops a notebook and a small desk decoration of a horse, she goes to pick it up, she knows she shouldn't read it but curiosity gets the best of her.
—--𖦹—--
The Stone of Transmutation
The mythical stone has been set to have many properties, the one that has been more sought searched for is transmutation, more specifically to create more gold, a valuable asset in medical studies and a resource that is hard to get.
But it can do more than just that, it has the key to something even greater, but the problem always lies in others assuming the form of the stone, why is no one bothering to form one? Do they believe it will magically again its shape? Unlike them, I will not wait for the stone to appear, that is something only dreamers do, I will make the stone myself.
It just needs a vessel, a condensed vessel that has to be turned into the stone but it has to have a proper form first, and once all of the ingredients are set then the stone can finally be in my grasp.
I already have the Ergo and the crystals and soon enough my listener, the only thing left is to perfect her power. —--𖦹—--
“Miss.Cassandra” Frederick spoke behind her.
Oh no, quick, think of something.
“I accidentally dropped this while cleaning, my apologies” Blue set the notebook in place but kept the decorative horse, “I got distracted by this, how lovely, did you know that Shire horses are the biggest horse breed?”
Frederick was not amused, “Do you want it? It's only there accumulating dust on that shelf”
“Oh, I can't accept this-”
“No, no no take it, I insist” The less mess his home has the better.
“Thank you so much” Blue was smiling, she didn't get caught and she got a nice gift.
“I must leave now, I am dismissing you, I was tasked to help with a surgery, it will take many hours and this is a medical matter, you cannot be there with me”
He has to see how his experiments are going and he is always well-guarded in the labs, no need for her assistance. Not to mention how he has been working nonstop on the girl, losing sleep in the process, not even the smallest of flaws will be tolerated.
Blue simply nodded and left, she should go to the stables and see if she could help there, is that or going to that fancy ball with her family and she isn't in the mood for that.
Pinocchio was petting his pony, things had been really tough lately, and going to see her was a good idea to cheer him up.
He did apologize to his father about the other day, he knows that it's not his fault that his coworkers say things behind his back. His father said that it was okay, that he understood that he wasn't feeling well, and that Arlcchino showing up to torment them only made everything worse.
“Do you think I can ride her?” Gemini has always wanted to ever since Pinocchio got her.
“Of course! That's a great idea!” Pinocchio was so excited for Gemini. He carefully placed him on top of the pony and Applejack began to slowly walk around outside the stable.
“Pinocchio we need to get me a cowboy outfit as soon as possible” Gemini was enjoying himself too much.
“I keep spending my allowance on buying things for you”
“Aren't we best friends?”
“Yes but I also want to buy my own things and its not only you, Sophia is also my best friend”
“Thank you” Pinocchio heard her voice from inside.
“What are you doing now Sophia?” Pinocchio said out loud, even if he could have just used his mind, he wanted to keep Gemini in the conversation.
“Tell her I say hi!” Gemini shouted from on top of the pony.
“Gemini says hi” Pinocchio can feel his heart pounding.
“Oh just relaxing, Krat has been on my mind, hopefully, you are safe and sound” Sophia was lying in the bed of her current hotel room, her last sightseeing was a little exhausting: her gears started to sound loudly she got worried because some people were nearby questioning where that noise was coming from.
Pinocchio then starts to wonder, Sophia knows a lot about Ergo, maybe she can tell him information about those notes in the notebook he found.
“I can try to see if I can understand them,” Sophia said, “When you have time, open it and show me the page, I will see what I can do”
“Thank you” Pinocchio was grateful that no matter how far she is, Sophia always helps.
After a few more minutes, they made their way back, Pinocchio leaving the pony back at the stable, giving lots of pets to Applejack before leaving, but as they were close to the exit someone riding a horse made their way towards them.
“Good to see you again!” Blue was excited to see Pinocchio again, she got off her horse and stood next to him, “I heard about what you did at the Opera House, great job!”
Pinocchio was playing with his air, “Oh it was nothing”
“You seem to be a skilled fighter, would you mind sparring with me?” Blue had nothing better to do and sparring sounded like a great idea.
Pinocchio was carrying Misericors and he welcomed using his weapon without being in any real danger, so he agreed, both of them going into a place where the vast field was deserted.
Blue plays more defensively, her lantern shield covering from her attacks, but Pinocchio is a worthy challenger so she uses the trick of her shield, reflecting the light of the sun into Pinocchio’s eyes blinding him for a moment, and putting her rapier blade next to his chest, but not actually touching it.
“I win” Blue was smiling.
“Hey, that’s cheating!” Pinocchio rubbed his eyes, it wasn't fair.
“That’s the point of the shield, to blind your opponents silly” Blue gently touched Pinocchio’s forehead with two fingers, “At least you know the trick, play around it if we ever spar again”
“Oh my, look who we found here”
Both of them turned around and saw that it was The Red Fox who said that, her brother next to her.
“We obviously expected to see you here Blue, but it’s a pleasant surprise to see you here as well Pinocchio” Red Fox was smiling under her mask.
“What are you guys doing here?” Blue was a little confused but hoped they had come to see her.
“To see you of course,” Black Cat said but then laughed, “Just kidding client business”
“Brother don’t be rude”
“Just teasing her, nothing serious”
“Client business?” Blue had no idea what they were referring to.
Black Cat got closer to Blue and patted her shoulder “Our client thinks that your daddy is rigging those horse races”
Blue raised an eyebrow “So you guys are detectives now?”
“No, but we needed the money, can’t afford to miss the rent in our new office” Black Cat was doubtful about accepting the job but money is money.
“Plus we know that you could help us with that” Red Fox said elegantly, “We know your family is not like that and you might have the proof that”
Blue looked relieved, “My father owns the horse track but not the horses that participate, I can show you guys some of the documents”
They have strict policies to prevent things like that from happening, very restrictive rules, that's the reason no races have ever been rigged, if they suspect that there is even the slightest chance of it happening, a full investigation is launched.
“So that person just has bad luck?” Pinocchio thought that it sounded dumb to think races like that were rigged even if he didn’t know much about horses.
Black Cat now moved next to Pinocchio and pulled him in for a shoulder hug, “Look our brother is so smart”
He had expected Pinocchio to just let go of him quickly but that didn’t happen and Pinocchio pulled him for a big hug.
“Okay, I’m happy to see you too but that’s too much hugging for a day” Black Cat was getting suffocated, Pinocchio must have forgotten his strength.
“Brother don’t ruin the moment,” Red Fox said, then she turned to look at Blue, “We would be really grateful if you could help us out, we could even give you a cut of the money”
“Oh no no guys that’s too much and the doctor pays me well” Sometimes she feels the doctor has more money than he knows what to use it for, each time she is outside with him he buys so many cleaning supplies and so many notebooks as well.
“Great more for us” Black Cat was happy about that.
“Money isn’t everything” Pinocchio poked him so that he would get the message.
“Brother he is right and you know it” Red Fox has a serious tone.
Black Cat looked away for a second, his sister left her family because of him, they are true siblings, but the Volfe’s refused to accept that, accept that their father had an affair, she could have just left him, abandoned him like everyone else had done until that point, but she refused, she left a life of luxury for him.
“Sorry, looks like I’m not as funny as I thought”
“You are right about that” Gemini chirped from his cage.
“What did you say you dumb cricket?!” Black Cat shouted and huffed.
“Dude, you are beefing with a cricket, calm down” Blue was teasing him now.
“Hey, Gemini is more than a cricket he is my friend!” Pinocchio knows that they are joking but he has to remind them.
“Would love to keep chatting but Pinocchio we have to leave, it’s getting late” Gemini knows that they got too carried away, and twilight is starting to be seen in the sky.
Pinocchio waved them all goodbye, saying that he hoped to see them again soon.
“You know I would love to properly hang out with him one day” Red Fox gave out a sigh, “Invite him to eat or something along those lines”
“He can eat?” Blue may know Pinocchio but he doesn’t know him that well, but they explain to her that they heard it from Pinocchio that he can.
“Wow, he is more special than I thought” Blue wondered how else Pinocchio is different if only she knew all the crazy details.
“So Blue how are things with doc?” Black Cat was playing with his weapon, feeling bored.
“Everything is going swell, a little more exciting recently”
“Mmm really? The doctor is the center of a lot of attention so I can see it” Red Fox waved her hand so that her brother would stop playing with his weapon, “Everyone always sings praises about him”
Black Cat stopped “Yeah, I heard he is bisexual but with his hands”
Red Fox facepalmed, she couldn’t believe him sometimes.
“…yes the doctor is ambidextrous” Blue has seen him get tired of writing with one hand and switching to the other, he writes a lot of stuff in general, she knows that he is a also researcher so it must be because of that.
“I do wish I had another client”
“Are you still concerned about it not being too exciting?” Red Fox was ready to give a speech about how that’s not the point of being a stalker.
“No, I just feel like he isn’t the kind of person he says he is” After today she definitely has a weird feeling around him.
“I see” Red Fox got serious again, “Sorry to ruin the chat, but if you could help us out”
“Oh right! Follow me guys”
——
The house phone was ringing and Venigni felt like he was going to have a panic attack. Each time that phone rings he feels dread, Pulcinella is the one to answer all phone calls because he can’t do it.
That monster is out there again, worse is that the last body that was found was placed in his parent's graves. He is taunting him, treating this as some sort of game, worse is that because of where they were found rumors and gossip started, rumors about his parents.
Pulcinella answers the phone and it’s not him, but Venigni feels as if he is going crazy like he isn’t safe in his own home. Because Arlecchino knows where he lives and he can just break in like he did all those years ago, he can-
“Master Venigni”
Pulcinella snapped him out of his trance.
“Yes?” Venigni is someone who can talk and talk for hours but at this moment just saying those simple words is too much.
“If this is too much for you, perhaps it would be best if the young master-”
“No no no, please let's not involve Pinocchio anymore in this” Venigni knows how Pinocchio was already put in danger, his rational brain knows how capable the boy is but at this moment his emotions are running too high and he is afraid that he would be hurt.
Pulcinella stays quiet for a few moments, it pains him to see him like this and he would rather avoid causing him more stress, however, a letter that arrived in the mail is of utmost importance.
“You remember Miss. Belle correctly?”
“Yes, I remember her” Venigni was starting to compose himself, “How could I forget her? I think she left an impression on all of us”
Pulcinella handed him the letter; Belle talked about the decoded message Pinocchio gave her a while back, how that led her to more clues and left her to this.
“It came with this cryptic vessel”
Belle trusts Venigni and she knows his capabilities, that’s why she sends this to him, stressful as this is, he won’t allow Arlecchino to keep getting away with this or anyone else for that matter.
Venigni deciphers it quickly, which leads him to more clues, this will take a while, this is a massive web he is willing to untangle, this time he won’t be a coward and talk be game, he will do something about this before it’s too late.

FNAF Movie Theory: William Afton Is The Blonde Ghost Boy's Puppet
[Note: Mature Readers Only and if you haven't watched the FNAF Movie, don't read this until after you watch it first.]
the original title for this was "FNAF Movie Theory: Garret Is The Crying Child & Blonde Boy Is Vanessa's Brother" but the whole William Afton is that Blonde Ghost Boy's Puppet seems to work better, even if I end up talking about the whole Blonde Boy being Vanessa's brother first along with Garret being the Crying Child of the Movie...
okay, as weird as it might be and now everyone has to agree about this theory...but I think Garret in the FNAF Movie, might be the Crying Child, and the Blonde Boy could be William "Billy" Afton Jr. for all we know.
is it strange for me not to view William Afton in the movie as being like a counterpart of the one from the video games, that ends up in that room and try to hide in a Spring Bonnie suit from those Ghost Kids....and it being the same room that looked like it has three arcade games, which could be Princess Quests.
and the William Afton that ends up trying to hide in the Spring Bonnie Suit, is William Afton II the son of the true man behind the missing children incident, William Afton Sr.
the blonde boy who is in the movie, and who does the speaking unlike the other children, there is something suspicious about him.
like it turning out he is the one who took Garret's life, in the same way The Crying Child's Brother and his Friends did by accident in the mini-game.
the reason why Garret could of been kidnap in the woods, by William Afton Sr. could be because he was to replace the son he lost.
and just like the Original Crying Child from the game, Garret ends up meeting the same fate, but by just the Blonde Boy who I'm still gonna call Billy for now...
Vanessa might of been his sister, who can't remember having a brother because she has blocked most of her memories of her having a brother and what he did to their youngest adoptive sibling...
even if children are normally innocent, the Blonde Boy aka "Billy" could be a acceptation.
even if the whole Blonde Boy who controls Golden Freddy turns out to not be William Afton Sr.'s Son...
it could still turn out he played a part in manipulating the other children and even William Afton in the movie.
it might be possible even at close to the end of the movie, it is hinted that William Afton is not the true mastermind and he was being controlled by that Blonde Ghost Boy who is the one who had took the lives of those children in the movie and had made William Afton do it.
why else would the Golden Freddy not go into the Pizzeria with Abby...?
because he had to go get William Afton and have him put on the Spring Bonnie Suit and make him go to the Pizzeria to stop Mike from trying to stop Abby from becoming like the rest of the children.
William Afton is a Puppet and being controlled and the reason why the children that control Freddy and the others may not be truly at rest, because that Blonde Ghost Boy is still around and even if William wants help from him because of the pain he is in, the boy only has this dark and uncaring look, possibly almost emotionless as he closes the door and leaves William Afton, and possibly tries to use Vanessa as his next puppet.
I don't know if I'm the only one who has become suspicious of that ghost boy, and it being possible he has been manipulating the other children this whole time as well as using William Afton as a Puppet...
the only ghost child that speaks and acts as a type of leader of the group, is the blonde boy who uses illusion on Mike when he makes him see the family he lost but the love for the family he still has left that is Abby, brings him back to his senses.
it isn't even Mike's Mom, Dad or Brother that is truly speaking in that dream and illusion, it's all the Blonde Boy Ghost's doing.
he likely looked into Mike's memories and used his powers to make it seem they be for Mike giving Abby to the Ghost Children.
the Ghost Children that control Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy are being manipulated, and so the Blonde Boy Ghost likely talked the Ghost Child that controls Freddy, into luring Max into that room.
they should of kept the dog in the movie, maybe the dog could of tried to keep Max from going inside the pizzeria...
the dog could end up being adopted by Mike and Abby in the end.
and yeah, the blonde boy who controls Golden Freddy being a evil child and having used William Afton as a puppet would be a interesting plot twist for a future FNAF Movie
and the Golden Fredbear that the Blonde Ghost Boy has control of, was likely there before Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy...
so the blonde boy was likely the first before the other children, possibly a year or months before the other children go missing.
but the movie tricks you into believing the blonde ghost boy had lost his life around the same day as the other children.
and the imaginary friend of Abby's is possibly Garret or maybe even Charlie.
even if it turns out that ghost boy isn't a Afton, he could still end up being the true villain who uses Afton like a Puppet to get more playmates, and if Mike didn't take Abby to work, then that Blonde Ghost Boy wouldn't of found out about Abby from the other ghost children who do care about Abby.
and it's possible even they can be controlled by the one who controls Golden Freddy, even if they may still have a bit of free will, but it's possible those children weren't for the plan to turn Abby into one of them when that blonde boy mentions it so he had to take control of them to make them turn Abby into one of them.
plus the blonde boy might not be working alone, and there is two ghost children that has control of Golden Freddy.
the blonde boy goes to get William Afton, while the other stays to make sure to control the other children and make them turn Abby into one of them.
not everyone has to agree about the theories in this.
but I'm still gonna view that ghost blonde boy as the true manipulator who not only used William Afton as a puppet but also the other children as well.
so no matter how many times I end up watching that FNAF Movie, I'm still gonna find that Blonde Ghost Boy who controls Golden Freddy as very suspicious and hiding a very dark secret.
and yeah the theory would also mean that the William Afton is technically the scapegoat for that blonde ghost boy, even if the ghost boy made William Afton take lives with his own hands, even if he was being controlled like a puppet for that Blonde Ghost Boy who we don't really know the name of but it might not be Cassidy, even if the name is gender neutral, because the chance of it being Cassidy is very small and it could turn out the Blonde Ghost Boy could have a different name, which maybe we will learn in a future FNAF Movie.

AHHHHHHHH YOU FINALLY WATCHED IT!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO DUMP ALL MY FEELINGS ABOUT THE MOVIE! Ok so i would like to say i LOVE the cameos that movie is filled with. Like the youtubers who helped made Fnaf mainstream, the references to fnaf history in the fandom like Sparky’s diner referencing the made up animatronic people were talking about back in the olden days, MATPAT’S ICONIC CATCHPHARSE, and just a lot of stuff from the Fnaf fandom that’s just THERE in the movie. The whole time i was in the theatre, everytime i see an easter egg from something in the franchise as a whole, i would like go “HEY THAT BOOK IS REFERENCING DREAM THEORY” or “HEY THAT SPRINGLOCK SUIT LOOK QUITE SIMILAR TO CIRCUS BABY!” (The springlock suit is actually a reference to Ella from the books but if i remembered correctly, Ella herself had some connection to Circus Baby? I might be wrong but there’s that) It was fun seeing those easter eggs and feels rewarding to recognize it.
I love how the animatronics looked exactly the same as they looked in the games, whoever made them are incredible. Like omg they are actually there and have you seen Dawko’s video visiting the set? They were so expressive and just there. They just straight up came out of the games and are now in real life, i dont think i can ever get over my astonishment of the animatronics.
Now the plot, I honestly love the plot. A bit simple? Sorta but it made sense. It was perfect for newcomers to watch it without prior knowledge of fnaf but familiar enough that old fans enjoy it as well. The characters were amazing. I love Mike and Abby’s relationship as we see how much both of them mean to each other like the fact Mike will do anything to protect his sister and Abby adding Mike to her drawings most of the time, their interactions are just so cute and god i love it. Then we have Vanessa which was an unexpected surprise since we meet her in Security Breach but it was a weIcome surprise. Throughout the movie, i keep questioning how the hell does a police officer know so much about an old pizzaria, like sure she may be a super fan but that explanation didint satisfy me but then it turns out she’s William Afton daugther and my jaw was dropped. No wonder she knew so much about it and no wonder she was so weird to Mike about it. She was trying to protect him. But with her being in a coma now, my mind cant help but remember the “I will put you back together” scene. Ik William isnt there but yk, for some reason i think she’s going to have nightmares that are just Fnaf 4.
I also love the fact that the movie show that the animatronics are more than killing machines but children. The fort scene was honestly my favourite, at first it was funny because yk we have 4 clunky animatronics, 2 tired adults, and a very excited child trying their best to make a fort, funny stuff are absolutely going to happened and i laughed when Bonnie fell and just gave a thumbs up to show he’s okay. But then we get to see them laying down in their fort and i just saw 4 kids. 4 kids getting to actually be kids. Something they havent been since their deaths and the once what was funny became bittersweet. It just shows how tragic their death was and later we get to find out how their unknowingly working with the man behind their slaugther? It’s just sad.
Also what do you think of the plot holes they leave behind? Like what are the connection between Abby and the ghost children, we know she’s been drawing them way before Mike ever started working at the pizzaria? Could it be because she’s the puppet’s sister since there’s been theory that Garret is the puppet. The first one to be killed. And i actually believe that might be true with all the evidence we have but can that explain about Abby’s connection to the kids? No. Then there’s like the question about did anyone noticed the crooks that Aunt Jane hired dissapearance? Vanessa probably covered it up but im not too sure. Also wth did Mike do with his Aunts body? Im sure questions will arise for what happened to her in the neighborhood. But nevetheless Im sure that these answers will be answered in the sequel which we’ll see i guess.
Now how i think the brothers feel about the movie? Lucifer and Ik probably sympathise with Mike because the former is basically a single father taking care of his 6 children and the latter seeing her father in him. Mammon will have nightmares to the point that he scared to turn the lights off. Beel may or may not have second thoughts eating a cupcake after seeing Carl brutually murdering people (why the hell does the cupcake have a high body count than the others????). The rest is basically what you drew.
Ok so i still have more things to say but for now that is all. What do you think of the movie? Did it meet your expectations for it? Did your friend who went into this blind now interested in fnaf? Have you tried explaining the lore to him? I would like to know your thoughts! Have a nice day/night!
- 🐧 anon
i had a great time watching it!! i didn't really notice the plot holes until i thought about it afterward, it was a brilliant romp and i think that's just what the fnaf movie needed to be
i was surprised that the emotional beats of mike's plot hit as well as they did, actually! i think bc the games aren't as much of a personal story, it's quite new to see this sort of things directly from a character's perspective. i think hutcherson's performance really made it tbh, mike's story would not have worked if not for his perpetual stressed sogginess
the cupcake was KILLING me this whole movie. why are you so mad!! that shot where it's mauling the dude's face off and chica just turns around and smiles at the other guy like ">:) i'm gonna get ya" was so funny
honestly my main complaint is just that i would've liked to see the animatronics go insane mode more... the pillow fort scene and Everything about bonnie was the cutest thing i've ever seen but also those kids deserve to go feral (though i have to say the cupcake being the one to trigger the springlocks was a masterstroke and so so funny)
we were all absolutely floored by max getting straight up BISECTED. shout out to jo for immediately hollering "WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87" (also she was the only one who caught the ella reference with the suit they were going to stuff abby into)
title sequence was incredible... loved the homage to the terrible pixel art in the games (music was also a absolute banger). OH YEAH when matpat showed up we all went silent out of shock except for james (the one who didn't know fnaf before) who went "ooh hello sailor-" and was promptly drowned out by me yelling "MATTHEW????? (satan and levi would be absolutely rioting over that scene)
in terms of theories... i'm not caught up on the popular ones but i do like the idea that mike is swapped over to being an emily (with vanessa sort of taking a similar role to the original mike afton) also james (did half a nursing degree) was hollering at vanessa immediately going near-death mode from what he said was a stab wound of the "inconsequential in the grand scheme of things" degree
i said something after the movie about how "oh it's such a shame markiplier couldn't do the film, he would've done a great job as the guy getting killed at the start" ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT APPARENTLY THAT WAS HIS INTENDED ROLE i'm psychic (what was with the spinning razor freddy mask though?? is william doing that?? is he sending people to the pizzeria to stick his spinny razor masks on them??)
i was drinking my tea when matthew lillard said The Line and could not participate in the revelry afterwards because i choked and started coughing for about two minutes straight.. kind of ruined the dramatic tension but someone had already started cackling at abby's drawing so really i'm not to blame
though the way they use kids' drawings within the narrative is genuinely great, and the twist with how they turn the animatronics against afton is super clever! i am also a firm believer in the fact that afton drew that original one himself and he's just SO bad at art
all in all!! really liked it! the cast's performances was great, the references were excellent, the inexplicable balloon boy jumpscares were perfect, and i WISH i could hug the animatronics so bad

I would find it narratively satisfying if they reversed the roles and symbolism fully and Garret turned out to be the puppet

FNAF MOVIE AUAUAUAGH
spoilers below!! i need to ramble!!!
ok ok so its so good first of all
i knew they were gonna massively change the plot once they revealed the first trailer. They were starting it off in fnaf 1, one of the last games in the original series timeline, and micheal didnt know anything about freddys? so i had plently of time to curb and change my expectations for what it'd be, and i was genuinely so happy with how much they changed!
I LOOOVED how much inspiration they took from the books, ESPECIALLY the silver eyes.
I noticed how mike and his family is actually a parallel to the Emily family. His family dynamic; one of the children being taken, the mother leaving or dying, and the father offing himself,, its all a big parallel to the emily family!! and Vanessa seems to be a game Micheal Afton parallel! both vanessa and game Micheal do their fathers (william afton) bidding, until their bubble finally pops and they turn on him! I feel like Vanessa will probably spend the next movies trying to undo her father's actions and free the children, probably with the help of micheal!!
Also a bit more of a gut feeling that banks on the family swap theory, maybe in this universe garret is the puppet? its a bit of a stretch, but it feels possible. Out of all the music they could've chosen to play in the credits, across several different games, they deliberately chose to use the marrionettes music box theme! that tied with the "its me" imagery that was left unresolved, seems like there could be a plotline there for the sequel? dont know, i wouldnt be surprised if garret being the puppet turns out to be false, but i think itd be cool. Theres no reason he would be in golden freddy, its not like he was bitten, which is why theres two spirits in golden freddy in the first place,,, so maybe vanessa had a sibling that was bitten instead? or there just isnt a second soul in golden freddy at all in this universe? Super excited to see where this leads in the sequels. Maybe we'll see some more flashbacks, see william and mikes dad (presumably henry) interact? See more of Mike paralleling Charlie and Sammy?
Also, the C-O-M-E F-I-N-D M-E in the credits at the end made me think it was garret at first, talking to micheal telling him to come find him. But then i remembered Micheal Aftons speech in Sister Location, where he specifically said "im going to come find you",, and that seems like it might be very specific word choice. Maybe its william telling vanessa to come find him as springtap? Or maybe its a complete coincidence and im over thinking it, dont know. Orrr it could be garret as the puppet trying to get micheal to find him, since those minigames were about the puppet methinks.
Anyway, im done theory dumping,, heres some things i didn't like,,
I HATE HATE HATED how william took off the spring bonnie head so fast, and how he kept it off for so long. Especially considering how much they took from the books? He basically NEEDED that thing to function. Plus he looked goofy with it off, and its just so much less iconic than it was with it on. I get they needed their reveal for general audiences who didnt know it was steve raglan, and they needed their celebrity face time, but it was just so annoying to me. Its not a deal breaker for the movie, but it definitely dampened my enjoyment of the scene. Also, the springlocks SUCKK!!! they're supposed to be holding robot parts back, and they're supposed to SNAP back into place super fast. But in the movie they're basically just a claw? and it closes SUPER slow????? i know they needed to make it less gory for the pg-13 rating,, but they still couldve made it not THAT.
all that aside, everything else about this movie is GREAT!! i love it so freaking much,,,, ive rewatched it like twice now ontop of my first watching. I love all the little references and lines and characters from the books, and sparky too!!! Genuinely good movie, im excited for any sequels to come!! It'll be nice to see yet another different interpretation and telling of this story, and im glad its its own thing.

Meg
Before we start this excerpt, I think it’s best we provide some context. Based on the list of contacts in the back of the journal, “Meg” is probably Meghan Lockhart. She was a nurse during WW2, and that’s likely how she met my grandfather. You likely know her as the famous submarine pilot who went missing on a submarine journey in 1953.
The following is an entry from the journal of Dr. Daniel Garret. While he fails to provide any specific dates, do keep in mind that the journal itself was created in 1975.
Odd phone call today. Meg. She told me to bring my old Scarab costume and meet her by the docks at midnight. I tried to call her back, but all I could hear was static on the other end. I'm surprised I still have that costume laying around, to be honest, I thought I gave it back to Maxwell.
We’re breaking order slightly now. The following entry is sourced from an incomplete entry earlier in the journal. Square brackets are used for words we had to assume.
[Meg] was one of my few allies back when I was a caper, and I think the only one that I considered a friend (though I might be a bit biased since I met her during the war. I’m sure if I knew Magician from Mars or even the Puppeteer before I too[k] up [Capering], I’d be strong friends with them too). Of course, I didn’t call her “Meg” on the streets, I called her by her Caper name: Re[d Torpedo]. She was very useful in helping me lay low; most people hunting me expected me to be in the alleys or on roofs, and none of them could dream that I was inside of a bright red submarine.
We soon developed this great pattern where I’d meet up with her, get into the submarine, and we’d spend all night listening to radio signals for crimes to bust… and usually those sessions weren’t very fruitful. Instead of fighting crime, we just ended up talking most of the time. While I was rather [genuine with] my responses, I was never sure how serious Meg was. I remember distinctly how, one time, she asked me what my dream was. I, of course, said it was to [get my doctor]ate in Archaeology, and then I asked her the same question. She [smirked?], chuckled slightly, and said “I really want to find Atlan[tis] one of these days.”. This prompted a rather long argument between us. I kept pointing out how we have ships and submarines passing through every inch of the ocean, so it was unlikely that we could somehow miss an entire underwater city… and then she’d laugh and tell me I was thinking too much. Thankfully, we picked up some police transmission, and we ended up apprehending the Ma[d] [Hatte]r again.
Tumblr media
The description of her submarine as red strengthens the link between Red Torpedo and Meghan Lockhart. Meghan had spent a large portion of her childhood helping her father mend experimental military submarines, and eventually, she ended up working on a project to repair a scrapped model from WW1. This would end up being the red submarine in question, “The Megalodon”. In this submarine, she became the first female submariner to cross the Atlantic in 1948. Many fringe Caper Historians have speculated that she was the vigilante known as Red Torpedo, while others have floated the more likely explanation of it being part of a military cover-up… but I guess Meghan might be a correct answer.
The next entry was written directly after the entry where my grandfather received the phone call.
It felt so silly, standing outside, dressed like an outdated rendition of the Scarab. I was shocked I still fit in that thing, the chainmail must’ve been looser than I remembered. I sat by the dock for a while, occasionally looking over my shoulder to make sure there wasn’t anyone who wanted to bother me that night. I nearly turned back, feeling like a big great fool, when suddenly I heard the sounds of cascading water. It was Meg. She stepped out onto the docks, still in the same slightly goofy helmet and red jumpsuit. It was completely miraculous - I had long accepted that she died somehow, but here she was, in the flesh… and seemingly unchanged? In the quarter-century since I had last seen her, she did not display any sign of ageing, and her costume was as bright and intact as ever.
She walked up to me, and I couldn’t help but feel nostalgic. “Hello,” I said, unable to convey the great relief that washed over me.
She smiled, “Hope I didn’t take too long.”
We both laughed for a bit before standing in silence. It was just like the old days; no tragic deaths, just me and Meg by the sea. So. I asked her where she had been for over 25 years, and I don’t really know what to make of her response… but I will copy it down as accurately as I can manage.
According to her, she was idly wading through the ocean when, suddenly, her submarine got shot down. I wasn’t too surprised to hear that, it always seemed like a risk with driving your own private submarine around the sea with no notice to hostile nations and such, but when I said that, she said it wasn’t a hostile nation that shot her down. I asked what it was, and she just told me to be patient. She then went on to tell a story I might have called ludicrous decades ago, but now, having done all this research into Fantomah and the like, I have no choice but to accept it as equally possible, if not equally real.
She claimed she was saved by an underwater city. Not Atlantis, she was very insistent that this wasn’t Atlantis, but it was a vast underwater city named Merzonia. Once she was shot down, she was taken into the city and apparently met a group of people living there called Mermazons… not Mermaids or Mermen, Mermazons. And that’s where she’s been for all these years: living in this city, waiting and waiting for her submarine to be repaired enough for her to leave.
There was more to it… I really wish I had recorded it. My memory feels like a sieve lately, or at least annoyingly selective. Can’t remember when my daughter’s doing a recital, but I can remember the precise pages in the Miller Diary. Can’t find my keys, can find specific files on Fantomah without even thinking, or the Scarab costume that I hadn't thought about in decades.
After she explained all of this, she then told me she was leaving. I tried to get her to stay, but she said she had a duty to the Mermazons, to protect them in return for them protecting her. Besides, she had been presumed dead for a couple of decades, Magician from Mars was gone, Maxwell was now… well, I’ve gone over this already… the only one left was me. She wanted to say goodbye to me. We hugged. She got into her submarine and it took her into the sea and off into nowhere like some sort of mechanical Cheron. I hope Merzonia is real. I hope Meg was real. It all happened so fast that I'm still questioning it now.
Note: Further underwater exploration has shown no evidence for cities such as Atlantis or Mermazonia existing.
Update: Maxwell Miracle is currently contacting Miskatonic University. Hopefully, we can obtain some of the files they seem so intent on withholding.

My Puppet History Theory
Lore spoilers for The Affair of the Poisons
Garret says in the episode how the jellybeans turned him into a puppet, and then asks “Wait, what if the professor is a human that just keeps eating the jellybeans to stay a puppet?” And i couldn’t agree more. Now, it would be hard to time travel around as a little blue creature, so realistically speaking, he’d have to appear human.
What if he’s only eating the jellybeans to disguise himself in a desperate attempt to stay hidden from the genie?

Listen Closer - Chapter 1
[ hi again besties i am so so gay ]
First || Next || Previous || Last
Garrett jolted awake in a stiff chair, immediately noticing two things: one, he was strapped to the chair with metal cuffs by his ankles and wrist and two, there was a big, heavy, metal collar around his neck.
He instantly started struggling, yanking his arms up and trying to pull them out with the full force of his body.
A voice made him stop.
“Hello Garrett. I want to play a game,” a TV had clicked on in front of him, revealing a large puppet with black hair, white skin, red eyes, and red spirals on his cheeks, “for years, you have written about the deaths of those around you. You alternate between slow deaths and ones you describe as reminiscent of a feral dog attack.”
That was true. Garrett had a lot of issues stemming from trauma, and it had made him violent. Writing was the best way for him to get it out without actually hurting anyone.
“Despite all that you write, you never do anything. You spend your life writing about the deaths of people you don’t like, allowing their transgressions to consume your life. Well, finally getting that release is what will save you today.”
Oh my god. Was he about to get to kill someone?
“Beside you is your former step-father. He is alive, but not fully aware of his surroundings because of the drug I gave him- however, this will not last forever, meaning you have a limited amount of time to do what is asked of you. Inside of his throat and one of his lungs are two keys. The keys to your collar. I have provided you with a knife strapped on the underside of your chair.”
Holy shit. He was being forced to kill his abuser in order to live. This was the best day of his fucking life.
“If you fail to kill him and retrieve both keys within one minute, the collar around your neck will activate, sending just enough of an electric shock through your body to paralyze you. The amperage will slowly rise, killing every cell in your body as slow as possible. You can either turn to the feral killings you love so much, or succumb to one of the slow deaths you write the most. Live or die, Garrett. Make your choice.”
The cuffs clicked open. Without hesitation, Garret leaned down for the knife, immediately lunging for the man that had ruined his life at such a young age. Matthew was beginning to stir, but he didn’t care. He’d spent years getting stronger, faster. He could take him.
“Shhh,” he shushed the man, pressing his index finger against his lips as a wide smile spread across his face. “I promise it’ll be over soon.” It wouldn’t. Garrett plunged the knife into Matthew’s chest and dragged down, ripping him over.
The scream was music to his ears. He kept going, ripping open his lung with his hand. It took a second of searching before he found the key, jamming it into one of the keyholes on his collar.
Now for the one in his throat. Matthew wasn’t dead yet, but it wouldn’t be much longer, so Garrett wasted no time in tossing the knife to the side and diving in, ripping into Matthew’s throat with his teeth.
He never even got the chance to scream, very much dead by the time Garrett ripped out a piece of his throat, spitting it out and leaning back in to keep going.
It only took a few more bites before his teeth hit the key. He scrambled to grab it and shove it in the other keyhole, suddenly wanting nothing more than to live. He wanted to live, to become something more than the life he’d been living since he was five. He turned the keys.
And the collar popped open.
He yanked it off, throwing it across the room, far away from himself.
After realizing what just happened, he let out a loud, hoarse scream. It wasn’t long before it became a near maniacal laugh, running his hands over the blood on his face. He never realized he loved the taste of blood, or maybe it was just the satisfaction of killing the man he loathed.
He head snapped to the side when heard the door open, and he lunged for the knife, scrambling to his feet so he could start fighting a lot easier. There was nothing for a second, before the puppet from the TV squeaked into the room on a shitty little tricycle.
Garrett lowered the knife.
“Congratulations. You survived. I hope you have learned how to appreciate your life, instead of living it focused on the people around you,” the puppet spoke, in the same voice as before.
Garrett tilted his head at it, before slowly making his way over to it. “I want to join you,” he said, loud enough for the security camera in the room to hear him. “I want… I want to stay better. I want to make sure that this- this clarity lasts. Please.”
There was silence, before he heard the sound of footsteps. The first thing he saw was the cloak, and then the rest of the man. He was taller than him, but only by a few inches. He removed the hood of the cloak, revealing a….
Old ass man. Jigsaw was a fucking grandpa. That’s fine, Garrett didn’t care as long as he could keep him busy.
“I believe you’re the first to approach me first with a desire to become an apprentice,” the man said to him, curious about what would drive him to this. “But a beggar cannot be a chooser. You’re resourceful, and you know your way around a machine. You can be useful.”
Of course he could. He wouldn’t have offered if he wasn’t useful. Jigsaw offered a hand for him to shake, and he grabbed it without a second thought.
---
That was months ago, and now he was doing some tweaks on his favourite trap of John’s yet- the Venus Flytrap. It was basically an iron maiden built specifically for the face, and he thought it was beautiful.
“Alright, try the timer again,” he said as he set the contraption on a mannequin head to test it on. They’d been having trouble with it going off when it was supposed to, so he’d taken it upon himself to fix it.
Amanda, the only other apprentice he knew off, started the timer on the trap, only setting it for a few seconds. When it went off, the Flytrap closed immediately, crushing the head inside.
Garrett let out a whoop, jumping up with an excited clap of his hands. “Let’s fuckin’ go!” He went for a high-five with Amanda, letting out a laugh when she followed through with it.
It was hard learning how to work with someone else, but Garrett considered Amanda a friend at this point. She was kind and driven, and supportive as hell. There was no concern that she would betray them, so he confided in her.
It had only been a few months, but he considered John and Amanda his new family, and he was glad for it.
God knows he needed it.

The Pull (86/?)
Summary: The Ragnulf’s are one of the oldest lines of werewolves known. A gift from ancient times was gifted to them. Though not all of the line will experience it. There are some who will experience a Pull. This Pull leads them to their true mate, a soulmate. The problem is, just because the wolf finds their true mate does not mean that they are the same for that person.

The old god watched his daughter curled into her mate.
Taking deep breaths he tried to breathe through his anger.
The Norns would not be swayed… this he knew. But hadn’t the fox been enough?
They’d faced the fox and she’d brought back her mate…
She had faced losing herself in the process.
He had almost been destroyed.
Natasha Rafnulf and Stiles Stilinski would be a force to be reckoned with when they fully came into themselves and their powers… if they stay with Scott McCall they’ll be damn near impossible to stop…
But the Ragnulfs tend to return to their pack… the protection of their family always stronger than any other pack as they knew the bonds and they were aware of the implications.
Stiles Stilinski, however, was intensely loyal… to Scott McCall. The question wasn’t if Stiles would accept Natasha, the way he held her currently
Sighing, Odin recalled Hugin and Munin to his side.
As his ravens returned, he thought back to what he had learned a moon cycle ago.
Munin had accidentally stumbled across the remains of a group of assassins. They had not been trained very well from Munin cold tell.
He’d come upon the scene as a woman taunted a man. She’d not been on her own.
What had caught Munin’s attention was the creature with the woman. The one that seemed to be doing her bidding.
It looked like a man with an animal skull on his head.
Munin hadn’t seen one of those in centuries… The magic to create them having become almost non-existent.. but there was something off about this one.
Berserkers were not meant to be puppets. Like their counterparts,  Ulfhednar and Svinfylking’s they were meant to be the most ruthless men and women in battle.  They were originally meant to be the bodyguards of noble families but had become elite warriors in their own right as time had passed
Berserkers entered their trances when they would need to go to war and while a man in a true rite may not be able to tell the difference between friend or foe, they rarely did someone else’s bidding.
This one was following the huntress, Kate Argent.
Munin had stayed to watch as the woman asked about who the “Benefactor” was. Whatever this name was, it had been enough to cause her to go after his men. From what Munin heard, he figured that this “Benefactor” was paying for assassins.
Before Munin could figure out who the assassins were supposed to go after, he’d been distracted by the sound of the huntress groaning in pain. Munin had turned his attention to focus on the girl solely when he’d heard the clatter of a gun against the asphalt.
Munin had watched as the blonde in front of him had doubled over in pain before her skin had transformed and he’d watched as a nagual formed in front of him, this one a were-jaguar. One of Xolotl’s then…
Curious as to why Munin had followed the woman as she’d gotten the Berserkers to listen to her. It hadn’t taken them very long to disappear and the woman had then made her way north.
It was when Munin had told him the story of what he had seen, that Odin had thought to ignore the Norns, to step in and have the consequences be damned but the problem was the consequences wouldn’t be his to face. They’d be hers.
So, he’d done the one thing he could do- he opened up the link her mate had with instincts just a little wider.
He’d managed it just in time…
Natasha had been foolish in taking off on her own but Stiles had made it in time and though it took his mind a little longer to catch up to his instincts, his instincts had immediately called for the blood of the one that would harm what was his.
You hadn’t let go of Stiles since you’d launched yourself into his arms.
You’d had to remind yourself that he was okay… that he was here and that the stupid bitch Violet wasn’t going to be able to get to him.
Stiles had let you hold onto him. Had wrapped his fingers in yours and you’d leaned your head on his shoulder. Taking in deep breaths, you let yourself be grounded to the moment in front of you, to the man in front of you when the sound of a gasping, wheezing breath pulls your attention.
Looking around, you’re struck by the memory of earlier, Violet had been taunting Brett… Wolfsbane.
Running over to the boy, you’re met with the sight of him literally foaming at the mouth as he wheezes.
“I need a lighter!” you call out but, unsurprisingly, no one has one.
Trying to think of other ways you can get rid of wolfsbane poisoning, you realize that each one has its own specific set of rules.
Thankfully Stiles has already pulled out his phone. As he dials out, Brett lets out a gasping breath before he starts choking and the foam at his mouth turns yellow.
Calling out for Stiles, he’s at your side a moment later as he hangs up the phone and tells Scott to help him out. The three of you quickly make your way towards Stiles’ jeep and you get Brett situated in the backseat.
You’re just about to jump in the passenger seat when a hand grips your wrist. Turning, you see Scott giving you an apologetic look, “I told them you were the one attacked.”
“What?! Why?” you demand, knowing this means that you’re going to have to separate and not liking the idea at all.
Scott grimaces but points out that you had been attacked and that he’d told the Sheriff as much before they had figured out Brett.
You want to tell him to figure out something else, tell the Sheriff that he’d been attacked or something… You’re about to tell him as much when Stiles speaks up, sounding less than pleased, “Tasha… you need to give your statement.”
You want to argue but Brett’s pained grunt distracts you.
Sighing, you step back from the car and make your way towards the school. As you walk oer, you can hear Scott promising to Stiles that he’ll keep you safe.
Just as you make it inside the doors, Liam calls your name and a moment later he’s got you wrapped up in a hug, “Thank God you’re okay…”
He ushers you towards Coaches offices, through the locker room where you Violet’s been tied up, and as you do, you can hear the sound of sirens approaching the school.
It isn’t long before the school is bustling with the sounds of people. Officers, students, parents… they’re all there and everyone is trying to demand answers.
Parrish comes in and takes your statement, it’s just a rehashing of what you remembered. Though, you told him you’d come back to the locker rooms because you needed some girl stuff from your bag that you’d forgotten to take with you earlier and that you had no idea how you had gotten the necklace off of you.  Which was partially true.
“Adrenaline rush?” he’d supplied for you and you’d merely shrugged your shoulders. It made more sense than whatever you could tell him at least.
Nodding his head Parrish took his notes and made his way out towards the locker room, no doubt to get Violet.
“Guys, back off. You can get your gear tomorrow. If anybody sees Garrett, you notify the police immediately,”  you hear Coach informing the rest of the team before grumbling, “Then tell him he's off the damn team.”
You’re not 100% sure how Coach knows Garretts involved but you can’t help but chuckle softly, somehow you doubt Garret’s going to care about getting kicked off the team.
Making your way towards the girl’s locker room. You figure now’s a good a time as any to try and change— only to discover that they’ve locked down both locker rooms.
You’re making your way through the people when you catch sight of Kira who’s sprinting down the halls and out of the school. Curious as to what that’s about, you’re about to go after her when you hear the pup calling your name.
He catches up to you and immediately puts a jacket in your hand, looking down you see the large white numbers, an inversion of your own number 42 and can’t help but raise an eyebrow at the pup in front of you.
Liam offers no remorse, he simply shrugs his shoulders and advises, “He texted me, said to make sure you had a jacket since you’re apparently always freezing and then he told me where it was.”
Smiling to yourself, you shrug on the hoodie. As you’re putting it on, you hear the Suit’s voice. You had known that Scott’s dad was around but you hadn’t seen him at the game - though to be fair you hadn’t been looking for him. He’s asked Parrish to hold up and is walking over while Scott makes his way up to you and Liam.
Scott questions the absence of Kira.
“Not sure,” you tell him, “I saw her running through the halls earlier though.”
“She took off,” Liam elaborates. When you and Scott both turn to look at the pup he informs you that, “As soon as you guys took off, she called Lydia about that list and well-“
“Her moms on it…” Scott picked up, putting the pieces together.
“Everyone’s on it.”
“Wait a second,” you cut him off before dropping your voice and asking, “Are you on the list?”
“Not yet,” he mutters, “but there’s still another third, right?”
Before you can respond, Scott’s dad’s voice catches your attention, mostly be aide it’s accompanied by the scent of anger bursting as he says, “... that’s right. You don’t have any parents. That’s why they call you The Orphans.”
You can hear the rattling of Chains and can only assume that Suit got the reaction he was looking for.
A moment later he’s telling someone, “We need to find the boyfriend, Garrett.”
“Coach —I’m gonna need both their locker numbers,” you hear Sheriff point out before he comes into the hallway, “And someone find me a set of bolt cutters.”
Pulling into the parking lot at Deaton’s, Stiles finds both Deaton and Derek waiting for him.
“Scott called,” he offered when Stiles raised an eyebrow, “where’s Little Wolf?”
“Stayed behind,” Stiles growls out, not particularly excited at the prospect,
Working together, Derek helps him get the apparent werewolf out of Roscoe and into the clinic where Deaton’s grabbing some stuff.
With Derek’s help, he manages to get the boy laid out on the metal table. As they’re getting him situated, Brett starts to seize again, this time thrashing about and choking on foam at his mouth.
“What the hell is happening to this kid?!” Stiles asks as he tries to hold the boy down on the table.
“He’s been poisoned by a rare wolfsbane,” Deaton answers as he comes to the boy’s other side. “I need to make an incision and you need to hold him as still as possible,” he says as he the boy thrashes forward.
Stiles can feel his irritation at the older man but decides against it, pushing down on the boy again. Finding that they’re having a hard time holding the boy down, he snaps at the other werewolf, “Hey Derek, how about a little werewolf strength?”
“Yeah, I'm not the only one with werewolf strength,” Derek snips out.
“If you can’t hold him still, the incision might kill him,” Deaton points out and in his frustration, Stiles tugs the boy towards him.
A terrible idea really, because Brett seems to slide over to him quite easily.
Stiles tries to push him back but Bretts covered in sweat and the yellow foam and as he thrashes about he can feel the boy slipping.
Calling out to Derek, he tells the man that Bretts slipping and he doesn’t think he can hold Brett down.
A moment later, Brett is taking a deep gasping breath as his eyes open.  Stiles looks over to see the boys terrified eyes just as the smell of something sour hits his nose.
Brett growls menacingly and Stiles can feel himself getting thrown back into the cupboards. Grunting in pain, he looks up to see that Brett had managed to launch himself up and off the table he was just on.
Growling, he starts to stalk towards Stiles when he seems to think better of it and turns to take off. He’s cut off, however, when a fist collides with his face and Stiles turns to see a blue-eyed Peter pulling his hand back, “I guess I still have a little werewolf strength myself.”
“Yeah,” Derek scoffs before looking from Brett back to Peter, “Maybe more than a little.”
Stiles turns back to Brett who’s currently unconscious on the floor and he crouches down beside the boy’s body. He’s no longer choking on the rare wolfsbane but he doesn’t seem to be breathing either.
“Hey Doc,” Stiles calls over his shoulder as he checks Brett’s pulse to make sure the boy’s not dead at least,  “I don’t think he’s breathing.”
From his peripheral, Stiles watches as Deaton drops down next to Brett, scalpel in hand. He takes one look at the boy before he’s taking the scalpel and dragging it down Brett’s chest, slicing open along his sternum, releasing a puff of putrid-smelling yellow smoke.
Brett gives a gasping breath before his breathing seems to even out. Breathing out through his nose, Stiles tries to clear the putrid stench from his nostrils he asks Deaton, “Is he okay?”
“I think he’ll be fine. But he’ll probably be out for a while,” Deatom answers with a nod of his head as he moves to check the boy.
Brett seems to be breathing easier overall but his lips are moving and Stiles can hear the boy murmuring softly.
“Guys, can you hear that?” he asks the others, “I think he’s saying something.”
Looking up he sees Deaton giving him a confused look and Derek’s face contorted like he’s trying to focus.
Deaton’s already leaning over Brett so Stiles follows suit and as can make out the words the other boy is whispering, “The sun… the moon… the truth…the sun… the moon… the truth… “
He knows the words from somewhere… he knows he does… he just can’t remember where. Looking over to Deaton, he watches the older man lean back as understanding dawns on him and he says, “Three things cannot long be hidden — the sun, the moon, the truth.”
“It’s a Buddhist proverb,” Stiles realizes before his face furrows, “Why is he saying a Buddhist proverb?”
Deaton’s face doesn’t seem to indicate that he has any idea why so Stiles turns to Derek who’s staring at Peter.
“Satomi,” Peter practically growls out. The two werewolves having a silent conversation with each other and Stiles figures that either Derek or Peter will be hunting down Satomi real soon.
After a moment, Peter turns towards Stiles and asks, “Where is Little Wolf?”

Unique First Impressions Part 4
When one turns 17, a young pureblood of a noble house will be eased into society through a party by the Head. Rebecca Lord is no exception… but perhaps, she has something up her sleeve.
MCs Featured: Aleksia Aries @aleksia-aries-hogwartsmystery, Aisling Baskerville @elefseija, Summer Charn and Garrett Avery @thecursedvaultchild.
Beginning
Previous
Time was lost on Rebecca. By now, she’s probably been gone long enough to be worrisome when she just went out to get some air. She leaned against the balcony, raising her hand to rub away her tears that just kept coming. Maybe she’s ruining her makeup. Maybe it’s not working. But she didn’t care.
Fuck me… stop getting your hopes up. He’ll find some way to ruin it. He always will.
All the joy, all the pride… it just drained out of her, and now she’s here.
"Bex?"
At the sound of voices, her shoulders jerked, then she turned around, hurriedly rubbing away tears. But it was like stopping a huge waterfall. Every time you try wiping it away, it’ll be replaced. Giving up on trying to clean herself up, she raised her gaze.
Summer and Garret stood in the archway, brows furrowed in concern. Their eyes widen, however, when they take in her tears.
She tried not to look away, her face burning with shame. “Oh hey...”
"Bex! What happened?" Summer immediately ran to her, putting an arm around her shoulders and her free hand gently brushing hair out of Bex's face.
Garrett took a moment to glance around. "Do we need to hex someone?"
“How did you guys find me?”
“You were missing from your own party. It’s not that hard to notice, we all did. Us and Aisling and Aleksia. We just searched and found you here.” Garrett frowned at her. “You didn’t answer the question.”
Rebecca laughed weakly and rubbed her eyes. “It’s fine, it’s just... stupid.”
Summer pursed her lips. "Don't tell us it was Giddeon."
As a response, Rebecca lowered her gaze. It didn’t take much to know the answer. “I think the display just pissed him off,” she said tiredly. “Not enough for him to do something to me, but enough to say things.”
Anger flashes in Garrett's eyes while Summer's lips grow more pursed.
"What does he care?” He demanded, looking pissed off for her. She appreciated it. “It's your introduction. Everything else is pureblood proper. He can't stop you from dancing with me and being yourself."
"It's my fault. I designed it. I thought it'd be a nice touch."
"He's just a stupid as my father."
"Garrett!" Summer hissed, gaze flicking around warily.
Tensions between him and his father were well known. This is a party where purebloods gather. Who knows what would happen if one manages to overhear.
Rebecca shrugged. “I don’t know. He just likes having control over me. I think he hates the fact that the display makes it seem like I’m different.” She looked down at herself, at the glittering suit that made her feel so confident and happy.
"Well, that was kind of the point.” Summer’s voice interrupts her thoughts. Her lips were pursed. “You're not a Caldwell, you're a Lord." Summer pulls Rebecca closer, wrapping both arms around her in a hug. "You're your own person, not anyone's puppet."
"You're rocking the suit, by the way."
Rebecca laughed. “Thank you.” She shrugged, hugging Summer back. “Proof that a Lord and Caldwell shouldn’t mix I guess. Lords have backbones,” she said, a roguish grin flashing weakly over her face, before it faded once she reached the next part. “Papa said so.”
Old buried grief curls in her stomach. She ignores it. It’s not the time. It’s never the time.
Still, old memories came anew, and she mourns for moments that will never happen.
Summer huffed, blowing a curl out of her face. "You can't let him get to you. This is your party. Your time to shine." She gently wiped the tears off Bex's face.
"Your backbone beats his words. And your suit is cooler than his," Garrett grinned.
"Let's go back out there and rock the ballroom! Or all my planning will have been for nothing."
Rebecca let out a soft laugh, using her hand to rub away the rest of her tears. What the hell was she doing? She danced in this suit, she danced and showed them she’s different and proud, she danced with her friends in this suit and they’re just as proud as she is. She shouldn’t let her uncle’s words get to her. Pull yourself together.
A surge of appreciation for her friends surges up. If it weren’t for them…. she wouldn’t know what to do. She remembers Jason, and promises that everything will be okay.
“Alright alright. Let’s get going.”
Each linked an arm through hers and walked back into the party, hearts light and bright with laughter and determination to have fun. Aleksia and Aisling were waiting for them at the archway, looks of concern on their faces. Once they saw the three, however, they lit up and flew over.
“Is everything alright?” Aleksia asked, staring imploring at her.
Rebecca looked around at their faces, remembering that they’re her friends and they chose to be her friends no matter what her stinky uncle says, then looked where her uncle was, socializing with other purebloods like he hadn’t confronted her about her show seconds before.
She smiled, feeling a glimmer of spite. “Never been better.” She turned to Aisling. “Wanna dance? We can sneak in Celtic music. Just for fun.”
As predicted, Aisling lit up, looking ready to bounce straight up to the ceiling. “YES!”
Amidst bright laughter, Aisling grabbed a laughing Rebecca’s hand and tugged her towards the dance floor, feet already skipping along to imaginary Celtric music.
Yes, never been better.

Deidara and Sasori d&d au!  Two more members of the Akatsuki Fellowship!! They are travelling around Khorvaire, in the world of Eberron!
au! Akatsuki D&D
Headcanons:
All the info related to places and clans is from the canonic lore of Eberron, or from interpretations that i’ve found here and there, and also a bit of my own homebrew lore. I’m gathering all the info and sources in my WorldAnvil page so you can check it out if you want :)
And this is the map with notes so you can pin all the locations.
This time I chose to put only the info relevant to the characters to make the post shorter. But still, this will be a LONG post so be prepared xD
Founding of the Akatsuki Fellowship
All the members of the party met in Sharn, the biggest city of the continent of Khorvaire. They were there for different reasons but ended up travelling together across the world.
Sasori the poison master
Sasori’s mother was a Talenta halfling. She and her family travelled to Gatherhold often to commerce with other tribes and foreigners.
Tumblr media
There she met Sasori’s father, a medic from House Jorasco who was serving in a hospital in Gatherhold. They got married and months after Sasori was born.
Gatherhold is the biggest city in the Talenta Plains and the main enclave of the nomadic Talenta tribes, but halflings from all Khorvaire gather and make business there.
Sasori was born into the Jorasco House but was raised by his maternal family in Gatherhold. He learned the ways of the Talenta halflings and was given a  Swindlespitter in his rite of passage, who he named Hiruko.
Swindlespitters are small sized dinosaurs with poisonous spit, that steal and eat other dinosaurs’ eggs. Talenta halflings craft masks to represent their bond with their mount, and they believe their spirits unite when they wear them. Sasori carved his mask in wood as it was typical from his tribe.
Short after bonding with Hiruko, his Mark of Healing appeared and Sasori was sent to Vedykar (Karrnath), the main enclave of House Jorasco, to learn medicine and alchemy. There he was tutored by his paternal grandmother Chiyo.
Sasori had a strong connection with his Mark of Healing, which made him a quick learner and proficient student in various medical fields. Even though he was doing great academically, Sasori was lonely and missed his parents, so Chiyo taught him the art of poison-making in an attempt to bond with her grandkid.
But Sasori’s loneliness took a toll on him and soon his feelings for House Jorasco and its medical monopoly began to sour. This made him start looking for new approaches to medicine.
Karrnath employs undead soldiers controlled by the Blood of Vol necromancers. And even though now this religion is looked down upon the Five Nations, Karrnath remains the stronghold of their faith and practitioners of its dark magic are seen in the streets of Vedykar.
Tumblr media
Sasori encountered some Blood of Vol Seekers and quickly took interest in necromancy, their dark arts and the promise of immortality.
With this new reprehensible interest mixed up with his animosity towards House Jorasco, Sasori was distrusted amongst his peers and he ultimately left Vedykar.
Atur is a city of culture and arts, and has the largest worship site of the Blood of Vol in Khorvaire. In this city, the living and dead coexist in a daily basis.
Sasori settled in Atur for a while. There he studied the secrets of necromancy, even though he never showed interest in the Blood of Vol faith, and developed his medical skills to the point of becoming a master in poisons and drugs.
During one of his experiments he lost his right leg, and travelled to Korth to obtain a mystical engineered prosthesis from House Cannith. There he met the Warforged and got interested in their technology.
In the Last War, House Cannith produced the Warforged, mindless automatons made of wood and steel, but the use of magic turned them into fully sentient soldiers that can feel pain and emotion. Now they are considered people and have free will.
Back in Atur, he began to research about the Warforged to see if he could implement a similar technology to the dead and the living to make them more efficient. This lead him to apply to The True Shapers to study the art of woodcraft and forging.
The True Shapers is House Thuranni academy of crafts. This school rivals with House Phiarlan’s The Shapers, but The True Shapers is considered the best of its kind. (See Itachi and Kisame’s post for more info about the elven houses rivalry)
Sasori studied in The True Shapers for some time. But using necromancy and dark magic for crafting theater props was not of the like of his instructors, so he was invited to leave the academy and search a place where he could make a better use of his artistic skills.
Tumblr media
He then travelled to Sharn, where he worked briefly for House Jorasco in the upper city hospital facilities before starting his own business.
He opened an atelier named The Puppeteer, in the Callestan district. He worked closely with the halfling Boromar clan, crafting poisons and artifacts for the cartel on demand, but he was also open to any other independent customers and criminal organizations.
Sasori became a great asset for all those who wanted to make deals with the Boromar or the Jorasco but were on their black list, like the smugglers and bounty hunters of House Tarkanan, or for those who just wanted to acquire a flask of dreamlily (drug).
With his many connections to important organisations, Sasori had eyes and ears in every House of Sharn yet he often visited The Shadowkeeper (who he well knew was a safe house for Thuranni spies and assassins) to catch up with what was going on outside of the city, and particularly in Atur.
Deidara the firecracker
Deidara's parents lived in a small village of Thrane. His birth was influenced by infernal powers and so he was born a Fernia planetouched tiefling.
Fernian tieflings’ abilities are tied to fire, their skin is fiery red or orange and warm to the touch, and when they grow angry the ambient temperature rises. Fernian tieflings are fiery and passionate, with an innate love for seeing things destroyed by flame.
His poor human parents, scared of their newborn child turned to The Church to seek help. The Church of the Silver Flame is the most extended religious community in Khorvaire and has its capital in Flamekeep (Thrane).
Though they believe in compassion and charity, the goal of the Church is to destroy all evil in the world and for that they employ any means they deem necessary, such as extermination.
The Church sees tieflings as potential threats if their power is not properly tamed, and so they established the tiefling community of Rellekor. Rellekor is a haven for planetouched tieflings where they are raised and taught to control their magic, but also a place to keep them away from the regular population.
When human families give birth to a tiefling, they will usually deliver them to The Church, who in turn will send them to Rellekor. That’s what happened to Deidara.
Tumblr media
Deidara never met his parents, haven been raised and trained in Rellekor since he can remember, and was too boisterous for anyone to want to take him under their wing. So he never had anyone to look up to.
As a Fernian tiefling it was really hard for him to follow the path of light of the Silver Flame, and so he was constantly being grounded and chased around by the Templars for making things combust.
He was a mischievous kid with too much passion for fire and explosions, and so they named him "Firecracker Deidara".
But growing up, he took a liking for crafts and so he started studying pottery. His tutors were relieved to see that he had found a hobby that wasn't potentially destructive... until Deidara found a way to mix his sculptures with his fiery magic and called it art.
Thanks to his new explosive art, Deidara’s tutors reprimended him even more often, and this, far from making him embrace the path of light, made him see Rellekor's authorities with disdain and his behavior worsened.
Feeling trapped in the tiefling city, he decided to travel to Thaliost where he enrolled in The Shapers, House Phiarlan’s academy of crafts. He saw The Shapers as a way to escape from his life in Rellekor and maybe purchase the artistic career he dreamed of.

Deidara avidly studied the art of pottery in The Shapers, and even though he was a great potter, his artistic approach was too revolutionary for the academy and he was given the option to leave his explosions or leave The Shapers.
He then travelled to Atur in an attempt to enroll in The True Shapers, but received the same recommendation from his previous academy and thus his application was denied when he refused to abandon his fiery art.
Forever mad at the Thuranni for refusing him without giving his art an opportunity, Deidara left Atur in a hurry after burning down the reception hall of The True Shapers.
Being rejected from the best craftmanship academies and not wanting to return to Rellekor’s suffocating system, he wandered through many cities and villages of Khorvaire until he arrived in Sharn.
In Sharn he tried to make art for a living but few people were interested in his unstable creations. This, and his multiple altercations with the law and the cartels, pushed him to the lower levels of the city and ended up in the lawless Callestan district.
There he rented the tiny garret of The Shadowkeeper and made it his home and workshop... without knowing that the tavern was run by Thuranni elves.
