Ethari potentially made the flower Queen Aanya wears on her necklace

Ethari makes magic arrows

Ethari likes gemstones

Ethari likes putting swirlies on his work

Ethari potentially made this arrow specifically for Queen Aanya

Does this mean Ethari could be in Duren? Maybe he delivers his wares anywhere, but I had a wilder headcanon - yes, from a single arrow shot by a young queen, I do what I want:

Without Runaan, Ethari had no archer to trick out with cool arrows

Without Rayla, Ethari had no one to be dad to

Aanya could fulfill both of those roles for him

Without any of the moonfam left in his life anymore, Ethari might have no ties to the Silvergrove, and might want to get away/move on to be less sad and more useful somewhere else

If he had a connection, however tenuous, to Aanya's family, he could've eventually sought her out

"it seems you're a parent without a child, and I'm a child without a parent. let's just begin"

How did Aanya get so skilled at archery, anyway?

Maybe Runaan taught her, so she could defend herself better

She is a lot like him - cool under pressure, annoyed by small talk, excellent archer, familiar with assassination techniques, entirely unimpressed with Viren

I'm literally obsessed with Queen Aanya. This girl is such a brilliant leader and warrior. She is so kind and strong in her convictions and able to see through Viren's shit and call him out on it while maintaining respectability (this girl has subtle jabs that could silence any man<3).

I like to think she figured out that Viren was the one who sent the assassins and so she refused to wage war on Xadia when Kasef was trying to rally the other kingdoms.

Also we love her for seeing a bunch of runaways from Katolis and being like 'yup, I'm going to help these guys and go to war' even though she was refusing to fight up until that point.

Not to mention how amazing she was as an archer in the final battle.

Anyways we stan Aanya and I am in desperately in need of more Aanya centric fanfiction (please send me recs!!!)

I went to a sport-event today and naturally, had a thought.

The event was ISTAF. It was nice. Anyways

What would be a Sport for each of the tdp characters?

We did some brainstorming on discord and came up with some ideas:

Runaan: mixed marshal arts and archery

Amaya: mixed marshal arts, fencing and event riding

Janai: mixed marshal arts and fencing

Rayla: acrobatics and mixed marshal arts

Ethari: javelin throw

Sarai: also javelin throw plus event riding and mixed marshal arts

Aanya: archery and also maybe event riding

Ezran: sprint with his nice legs (pun intended)

Khessa, Aaravos and Viren as Judges cause they would totally not do sports.....especially Khessa

Claudia: ribbon dancing 

Terry: maybe table-tennis

Would like to hear other ideas for this pls? I’m curious.
