give the people more on alex and eliza pls im so obsessed with them
I'll give a bit more insight into their story in the Harry Potter AU.
Lizzie had spent the first few years of Hogwarts falling more and more in love with Alex, but by the end of her fourth year she had grown tired of the heartache and jealousy she constantly kept suffering from with every single person Alex chose to kiss and date right where she could see them. Sick up and fed with her crush never seeing her in the way she wanted him to, she decided enough was enough and that she had to get over him.
Once she was back home for the summer holidays she bumped into a muggle boy, Tyler, who lived in her neighbourhood and who she had always found cute. They had hung out on a few occasions previously and when she had last been home for the holidays she got the sense he might have been trying to flirt with her, though she hadn't paid it that much attention as she was still pinning all of her hopes on Alexander Bridgerton maybe one day liking her back. Just before they parted ways, Tyler surprised her by asking her if she wanted to go on a date with him, and Lizzie happily agreed. Right from the first date Tyler made her feel good about herself as she got to experience for the first time what it felt like to be around someone who really liked her and wanted her romantically. Their first date ended with a kiss and from that day on they spent the duration of the holidays with one another, wanting to savour their time together for as long as they could before Lizzie had to return to her boarding school in September.
Meanwhile at My Cottage, Alex noticed the absence of his younger brother's best friend seeing as Lizzie had spent previous summers visiting their home whenever she pleased. He didn't say anything at first, thinking perhaps she had gone away with her family for awhile or even wondering whether she and William had fallen out. It wasn't until over halfway through the summer holidays that Lizzie's name got mentioned as the family were having dinner.
"How was Eliza today?" Sophie asked William and immediately Alex whipped his head up from his plate at the mention of her name.
"Yeah she's well." William answered with a mouth full of lasagne.
"I didn't know you guys met up." Alex remarked (had William mentioned it to him prior he would have tagged along just to see her face again since this summer had been the longest time he had gone without seeing her since she had started at Hogwarts).
"Yeah she finally had some time for me what with Tyler visiting his grandparents."
"Who's Tyler?" Violet puzzled.
"Her boyfriend."
Alex had picked the exact wrong moment to take a sip of his drink as he ended up choking on it in reaction to the mention of Lizzie having a boyfriend. He just about managed to cough up the remainder of his drink back into his glass as Charlie unhelpfully whacked him on the back a couple of times.
"A boyfriend!" Violet gasped with awed interest. "I didn't know she had a boyfriend! What house is he in?"
"Oh he's not at school with us. He's a muggle."
"A muggle?!" Alex spluttered after putting down his glass. "She's dating a muggle?! Why in Merlin's name would she date a muggle?!"
In response to his incredulity the table fell quiet as all his family turned to him with surprised expressions and a couple pairs of narrowed eyes.
"Huh. I never had you down for being an anti-muggle, brother." Charlie said.
"And might I remind you you're one quarter muggle." his dad added with a warning intoned in his voice.
"No, that's not... that's not what I meant." Alex shook his head, looking desperately from first his father to his eldest brother and lastly to his mother, hoping she understood that he didn't mean to insinuate anything negative about muggles.
Fortunately for Alex, his mother took compassion on him and gave his arm a reassuring rub. "Are you just surprised she's dating a muggle because you're not personally familiar with anyone else dating outside of the wizarding world?" she kindly suggested.
"Yeah." he swallowed. "Yeah that's it, I swear. " he insisted to the rest of the table, who all decided to give him the benefit of the doubt before continuing with their meal.
As surprising as it was to hear Lizzie was dating a muggle, the thought of her dating at all rattled Alex badly to the point he kept tossing and turning in bed at night as his mind kept projecting the image of Lizzie kissing a faceless entity. He tried badgering William for more information about Tyler, but his brother had never met the guy so there wasn't much he could say about him other than the glowing review Lizzie had given him when they had met up the other day. The best he could gather about Tyler was that he lived in Lizzie's neighbourhood, they had been somewhat friendly prior to dating, he was a year older than her, and he made her giggly and girly (much to William's immature disgust). Though he should have been happy for her or even disinterested like William was, Alex couldn't help but be bothered that Lizzie had a boyfriend. She had never dated at Hogwarts and to Alex's knowledge she had never so much as had a crush on anyone so the sudden turnabout of her having a boyfriend had stunned him completely.
It wasn't that Alex thought it strange for Lizzie to have a boyfriend; on the contrary it made perfect sense for a girl like her to have garnered romantic interest. She was sweet and considerate, modest and humble, artistically talented and passionate, hard-working and helpful, sincere and down to earth, incredibly pretty with perfectly kissable lips-
And suddenly Alex jolted in his seat as he reflected on what had just crossed his mind, as well as taking further note on how emphatically his heart was now beating from focusing all of his thoughts on Lizzie. It instantly became obvious to him why Lizzie dating someone else was vexing him so much; he liked her. He liked her more than he had previously ever thought and the reason he was annoyed by someone else dating her was because he had come to the crystalising realisation that he wanted to be the person dating her. He could have kicked himself for only just figuring out just how much he liked her now that someone else had beaten him to dating her, and he let out a pained groan and buried his head in his hands as he realised that so long as she was happily dating Tyler he'd never stand a chance of getting to be with her.

Misplaced Quotes: Hamilton Edition #1
John Laurens: Alexander, I love you.
Alexander Hamilton: *Hesitating* I...I-
Elizabeth Schuyler: But Alexander I also love you!
John Laurens *to Hamilton*: But now two of us love you. Who will you choose?
Hamilton: *Straightforwardly* Why don’t we all just f**k each other?
*John and Eliza stare at Hamilton in disbelief*
Hamilton: Yeah, this one big f**kpile?
Eliza: ....Eh, okay.
John: Sounds good to me.
Ben Franklin: *Cheerfully* And so, American Revolutionary War love triangles were solved forever!

Your Sister Was Right | Hamliza
Pairings: Eliza x Alexander (sort of)
Warnings: no plot just angst, swearing
Time: modern
A/N: sort of a song fic, I don't own any of the lyrics, this song belongs to Wilbur Soot
The rain poured outside, dripping against the window Alex was curled up against. It was almost pitch black outside, the only light coming from the screen on Alexander's phone, which would constantly be dimming, needing Alex to pause every two minutes to tap the screen back to life.
The pen in his hand scrawled against the paper, the words that appeared on the page hitting Alex like daggers in his chest. Every word he wrote was the truth, which is why it hurt so much. He couldn't imagine how much it all must've hurt Eliza.
'I thought I couldn't love anymore
Turns out I can't, but not for the same reasons as before I use everyone I ever meet I can't find the perfect match Abuse those I love While I ostracize the ones who love me back'
The words flowed like water down a stream, as if Alex thoughts were falling from his head and onto paper. A small sob escaped his lips as tears streamed down his cheeks. He quickly rubbed his eyes, which served as useless as more tears came flooding back.
'On the path of least resistance, I find myself salting the Earth
Every time that I miss you I feel the way you hurt And I don't deserve you You deserve the world Though it feels like we were built From the same dirt'
He pulled his teary eyes away from the paper, staring down the hallway, looking into his and Eliza's bedroom, where Eliza lay restlessly sleeping, her messy hair covering her tear stained pillow. He took a deep breath, moving the pen back onto the page.
'And I hate to say it But your sister was right I'm nothing but a problem Leave you crying overnight'
Eliza didn't deserve this. She deserved to be happy.
'And I hate to say it But your sister was right I can't focus on the future only my short sight'
He couldn't make her happy.
'I hate to say it But your sister was right I'm a bastard Complete bastard A fucking waste of time'
"She'd be better off without me." was the last thing he said, setting the paper onto the bench and picking up his bags.
buy me a coffee <3

Eliza: Stop doing that.
Alexander: Stop doing what?
Eliza: Saying things that make me wanna kiss the hell out of you.
Eliza: Can you name a single city in Oklahoma?
Alexander: Oklahoma City, bitch!
('Tis a joke. Ham would never swear at his lovely wife)
Alexander: Where did you get that tomato soup?
Eliza: It’s actually a bowl of ketchup I just microwaved.
(When Eliza's too tired to put effort into cooking actual food)
Alexander: So you like cats?
Eliza: Yeah.
Alexander: Tries to impress her by slowly pushing a glass off the table.
Alexander: You got a date yet Eliza?
Eliza: No.
Alexander: Well you do now! Get your ass up and hold my hand!
Eliza: You’d be stupid to lay a hand on me.
Alexander: Oh, you’d be surprised how much stupid shit I do.
(She's mad at him because he swore in front of baby Philip and Angie)
Alexander: Thought I was meowing back at my cat for the past hour, but it was just me and Eliza meowing at each other from different rooms in the house.
(I don't know if they would actually do this, but I like to believe they would <3)
Alexander: Snow got me feeling some type of way.
Eliza: That's hypothermia.
Alexander: Damn, the paramedics told me it was the magic of Christmas.
(Eliza is very much concerned and trying to get him to go inside and sit in front of the fire)
Eliza: The first time I saw you, you stole my heart.
Alexander: But I'm a kleptomaniac, so that doesn't mean anything.
(Oh, it means everything <3)
Eliza: Let’s watch Sharkboy and Lavagirl.
Alexander: Okay.
Eliza: And make out during the scary parts.
Alexander: Th-
Alexander: The scary parts.
Alexander: Of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.
(Yes, Alexander. She didn't stutter. The scary parts. Of Sharkboy and Lavagirl)
Alexander: I’m so tired.
Eliza: Did you get to bed late?
Alexander: No.
Eliza: Did you do something strenuous?
Alexander: No.
Eliza: Then why are you tired?
Alexander: I’m alive.
Eliza: Sounds exhausting.
(Eliza is right. Being alive is super exhausting 😔)
Alexander: Can I have 2 straws with that milkshake?
Eliza: Aww-
Alexander: With 2 straws, I can drink it double as fast!
(No, because he would definitely do this. You can't prove otherwise)
Alexander: I don't know how to tell you this, but... I love you.
Eliza: That's great, Alexander. Especially considering the fact we've been married for 10 years and have 4 children.
(Ham just got back from drinking with his friends. He's drunk 😁)
Alexander, trying to flirt: So, you come around here often?
Eliza, confused: I mean, this is our house, so yeah.
Eliza: Alex, could we go shopping? All the snacks are gone.
Alexander: I AM LITERALLY RIGHT HERE?!
Alexander comes home absolutely drunk, undresses, and stands in Eliza’s bedroom.
Eliza: Babe, are you.. coming to bed?
Alexander: No thank you, I’m sure you’re lovely but I have a girlfriend.
Alexander: Lies on the ground and falls asleep.
Eliza: ...
Eliza: We're literally married, though???
(Again, Ham is drunk 😁👍)
Eliza: Do you want to explain the text you sent me last night?
Alexander: It was autocorrect.
Eliza: Autocorrect wrote "You're so hot. Please step on me"?
Alexander: Yes.
(Yeah, that happens sometimes. Totally 👍)
Eliza: Alexander, can I speak to you for a minute? In private.
Alexander: Ooh, someone's in trouble. It's me. I don't know why I did that.
(Again, Ham swore in front of the kids)
Eliza: I want to wake up with you every day for the rest of our lives.
Alexander: I wake up at 4:30 AM every day.
Eliza: I want to see you at some point every day for the rest of our lives.
(And that's on those rare occasions that he actually does sleep)
Eliza: Okay, I’m going to get the wedding cake.
Alexander: Perfect, while you do that I’ll check on the ring bear.
Eliza: ...
Eliza: You mean ring bearER, right?
Alexander: ...
Eliza: Look me in the eyes and tell me you are not going to bring a dangerous wild animal to our wedding.
(He totally is. As he should 😌✨)
Eliza: And have you learnt anything this Christmas, Alexander?
Alexander: …Not really.
Eliza: Nothing?
Alexander: Tell you one thing I have learnt—Christmas; ultimately, commercial holiday. Who's the real winner at Christmas? Amazon. they have drones now! Tiny little dystopian slaves delivering iPads and headphones. I ordered a toaster; It was on the doorstep five hours later! Do we need that? It was 4.99! For a toaster! I mean, someone's being exploited there.
(And that, kids, is the true meaning of Christmas. Exploiting people into buying stuff that they don't really need under the guise of it being worth it. That also fits for Black Friday, actually-)
Alexander: Alright, so the vampire's gravestone is—
Eliza: Cenotaph.
Alexander: What?
Eliza: It's only a gravestone if it marks the location of a body. A monument honouring someone whose body isn't present is a cenotaph.
Alexander: I'm... not sure that's how it works if the body gets up and walks away on its own.
Eliza: There's a precedent for gravestones being reclassified as cenotaphs if the body is later removed and reinterred elsewhere. There's no rule that says the body itself can't do the removing.
Alexander: Okay, but the body is very much coming back. That's kind of what we're here to accomplish.
Eliza: So it's a temporary cenotaph.
Alexander: And naturally our greatest concern here is avoiding semantic ambiguity.
Eliza: Semantic ambiguity is how vampires get you.
(I just thought this one was silly. I liked it)
Alexander: My future partner must be brave, strong, intelligent, successful and organized.
Eliza: Steps on a caterpillar and proceeds to drop to her knees and sob while apologizing profusely.
Alexander: That one. I want that one.
Eliza: I still have no idea how I’m attracted to you...
Alexander: Yeah, well, you’re stuck with me, and no take backs, honey.

“and being invited on days out to various wizarding locations and events.” i imagine eliza got to attend the quidditch world cup with the bridgertons
Sophie and Benedict wouldn't have hesitated to buy an extra ticket for Eliza to join their family at the Quidditch World Cup during the summer before her and William's second year at Hogwarts. The young girl was thrilled to be invited along and had slept over the night before at My Cottage ahead of their early start to travel to the World Cup via portkey. She had been bemused by the portkey being an old boot and had been even more flabbergasted when holding onto it had transported her and the Bridgertons and Woodsons to Australia within the matter of seconds. She was incredibly fascinated by the international gathering of witches and wizards as they made their way through the campsite and she was bewildered to crawl into the tent Benedict had set up only to discover that the inside was magically far more spacious and basically a portable home with plenty of room for all of them. Though the wizarding world was still so new to her, she had taken an instant liking to Quidditch and it helped to have William's extended family surrounding her talking about the sport so incessantly to fill her in if there was anything she didn't quite understand about it.
At the World Cup final Benedict had been about to purchase a pair of omnioculars for Eliza when he noticed Alex running over to the cart ahead of him and purchasing a pair himself. Benedict had initially rolled his eyes thinking his son had lost or forgotten the pair that Benedict and bought for him at the last World Cup, but then he watched Alex hand over the newly purchased omnioculars to Eliza instead. He hadn't anticipated his middle son's thoughtfulness and Benedict was very proud of Alex's kindness and generosity. Once they had taken their seats in the stadium Benedict observed his son taking the time to show Eliza how the omnioculars worked, pointing things out to her, and explaining the team mascots and their origins during their pre-match displays. Even throughout the game Alex was more focused on ensuring Eliza wasn't missing out on anything than the match itself, and Benedict couldn't help smiling fondly as he reminisced being by Sophie's side during the first Quidditch match she had ever spectated. In fact, watching Alex and Eliza interact was like a flashback into the past from the way his son gently had a hand on Eliza's back as he guided her to look from one end of the pitch to the other where the seekers were whizzing off to, to the way in which Eliza listened intently to everything Alex said and glanced up to him with sparkling eyes and blushing cheeks-
And it hit Benedict like a dozen stunning spells all at once just how much Alex and Eliza's bond and interactions were identical to his and Sophie's at that age. It wasn't simply like a flashback; it was a mirror to the past as Alex went out of his way to look out for and care for Eliza all the while remaining oblivious to being the object of his brother's best friend's crush. Benedict briefly considered that just because Eliza fancied Alex didn't necessarily mean history would repeat itself since it could simply be a passing crush and the young girl could easily lose interest and find someone else at school to hold affection for instead - but with his family's history of falling for the best friend of one of their siblings, Benedict couldn't help feeling that one day Alex would come to realise that his feelings for Eliza were far stronger than he had previously thought. As much as he would have liked to have pulled Alex aside and give him a heads up of what was bound to happen to him, Benedict knew his son would have to figure everything out for himself in his own time. All he could do was hope that his son was quicker to work out his feelings for Eliza as well as not put his foot in it by saying the wrong things and push her away when he did realise how he felt for her (however with Alex being his father's son, of course things didn't go as smoothly as Benedict had willed them to be).

I saw that you were looking for Hamilton request, I hope I’m not late but what about Hamilton sister!reader and Thomas Jefferson, reader and Hamilton were at a ball and they strayed away,and Thomas decided reader caught his eyes and started flirting with them, and Alexander found out, thank you if you even see this I know how hard it is to write!
Dear Diary,
Thomas Jefferson was hosting a ball and invited all of his coworkers including my brother to show off his wealth.I haven't met the man at the time but everything that I heard about him was negative.
Alex didn't want to go but Eliza told him that it would be rude to refuse so he agreed only if I would come too for moral support.
We went to the ball then Alex saw Mr. Washington and approached him after making sure that I was okay by myself. Then Thomas Jefferson approached me and asked me to dance and I accepted.
He was nice enough and had witty banter with flirtatious comments here and there. It was all going smoothly until my brother showed up tearing us apart and dragged me home. But not before I got his address so we could write letters.

I’m Willing to Wait for it. (Part 3)
Aaron Burr x f!Reader
Summary: Burr is in your care and living with you as he recovers from his health problems after his retirement in 1779. You attend Eliza’s wedding to Alexander in 1780.
So after some research, Eliza met Hamilton long before they went to the revel which happened in 1780, but they fell in love during that ball and got engaged soon after. The ball itself was the Morristown Assembly Hall and took place in a wood storehouse while the families of patriot soldiers wintered with them in Morristown.
I’ve also been reading Aaron Burr’s private journal lately and that man is hilarious. He’s no villain, he’s just weird.
~~~~
The fact that Aaron had survived the massacre at Long Island unscathed was miraculous. He had led the retreat of over 5000 men through New York to New Jersey as you’d come to learn. Though you would not see him again for a great period of time you grew to know him intimately through his letters. Though the remembrance of his features faded, meeting him still felt like yesterday.
The letters you exchanged with Aaron became an almost daily affair. What started out as a wavering mistrust became a solid friendship. Whether he was in New York or elsewhere he would always keep you up to date with his location and where to address your writings.
Knowing that he was of poor health when he eventually retired from the military, you immediately offered up your home in New York to host him as a semi-permanent guest where he could recover in relative peace and quiet; just you and him. The salt sea air from the harbour will do you good, you had written him and he more than happily accepted. The idea of keeping slaves was an abhorrent practice to you so you kept your own house meticulously by yourself with Aaron helping out when he could.
On the days when he was bedbound, he talked to you as his confidant in all his activities and stories during the war and the hopes he held for the future. Living with him, you discovered that he despite his genius disposition, he could be an incredible klutz, was often a highly anxious yet somehow also very optimistic person and had his own quirks to match behind the suave exterior that he liked to keep up.
It took nearly a year before Aaron was fully recovered. A year of witnessing his ups and downs and looking after him in the most severe bouts of sickness he was subjected to while he concurrently pursued his studies in law. A year of long walks and heated discussion until the early hours of the morning. It seemed like the worst was over for him and at the same time, it signified at change in your lives once again. He would no longer be needing to stay with you and somehow you were saddened to think about the loss of your housemate. Was it wrong to think that the year that had passed felt like more like a courtship than a friendship? That some days you were drawn almost intimately close to one another in conversation and in person?
It was to your surprise then that on a brisk autumn morning you received a letter addressed to one Mr. Burr from your father of all people. He rarely wrote you as of late but somehow he was writing to Aaron? Your curiosity was piqued; what kind of involvement did they have together? You had your suspicions about its content, although you tried not to get too far ahead of yourself.
“Aaron? You have a letter.” You called out to him.
“Who from?” Came the muffled response from the study before he peeked out around the corner.
“My father.”
“Oh! Of course! Thank you, my dear.” He needed no further invitation to come out, making a direct beeline for you.
Suddenly you held the letter out of his sight when he tried to take it, a wicked smile on your face. “What’s it for, Aaron? Why have you been writing to my father?”
“If I tell you once I read the letter myself, would that satisfy you?” The grin spreading across his own features was infectious and titillating.
“Why can’t you tell me now?”
“Because,” he tried to reach out and grab it swiftly from behind your back, but anticipating the move you backed away from his grasp, keeping the prized possession out of his hands once again. “Because, even I’m not entirely sure what that letter contains.”
“So you admit to being somewhat sure?”
“I think I’ll just keep my silence, little minx!” Cornering you against the wall, he kissed you on the nose as a distraction before he pried from your hands the letter that he had long awaited with much anxiety and skipping away before you could catch a glimpse of its contents. You had your answer then, there was no doubt in your mind what the letter was about now.
“So, what has my father decided?”
“Do you know what he’s deciding on?”
“I’ve had my ideas. Besides, I’ve known you long enough now, that I can tell you’re worried over it. Being so out of the blue, it can’t have been about legal matters and its unlikely the war would be occupying your mind as much. What could it possibly be to make you so anxious if you were not asking for permission to marry?” Sidling up to him, you rested your head on his chest as he leaned against the doorway, scanning the letter meticulously. “I’m not blind by any means, Aaron. And if you truly mean what you’ve been preaching for the last 5 years, then I would be more than happy to be bound to you.”
“You’ve always been so nimble-witted. Does anything ever escape your notice?” He sighed, bringing his arm around you. There was a light brush of your hair as he laid a gentle kiss to it and you melted into his touch.
“You’ll have to tell me. If it escaped my notice then surely someone has to pick up on it for it to be considered ‘missed’.” You murmured into his vest. “So what does my father say?”
“Mr Burr,
Upon much reflection of your proposal, I have decided that you’ve made a compelling case in your favour as a young man of much potential and character. I was delighted to hear of your bravery and sacrifice during your time in the army and I accept your case. I give my permissions to you upon the condition that you remain true to Y/N in all your actions and I grant my blessings to you both should she be so inclined to accept your proposal of marriage herself.
Your obedient servant,
Mr L/N.”
You couldn’t help but hear the smile in his voice as he read the letter out to you. Your heart warmed and fluttered at the thought.
“If you choose to be my wife, I’ll make sure you’ll want for nothing.”
“I don’t want anything but you.” Looking up into his dark eyes, sparkling like diamonds, there was nothing but happiness and relief that flooded you. There would be no more waiting, you thought as he leaned down to kiss you; properly this time, holding you close in his embrace.
————
Somehow, despite having met and been courted by Alexander in the same year, Eliza was getting married even sooner than you and Aaron. It felt almost bizarre to think that the youngest Schuyler sister and one of your closest friends, was finally growing up and you were here to bear witness to her union. And beside you, arm linked with yours was the man you could finally call your fiancé.
It was December, and the snowfall turned the Schuyler family home in Albany to a winter wonderland. From outside, the windows glowed with the warmth of the celebration inside.
“Congratulations, Eliza! I wish you every happiness with Alexander.” You caught her at a free moment, holding her hands in yours in excitement. “Your last letter nearly gave me whiplash with how fast things were progressing between you two.”
“I wasn’t expecting it, but that day at the ball General Washington threw at the Morristown Assembly Hall! Oh, Y/N! It was just a little rickety room, but I’d never felt more alive to be there. And when I first laid eyes on him, I knew he was the one; we both knew.” She tittered, the events still fresh on her mind.
“There are things that don’t need waiting for sometimes, and love just happened to be one of them. Anyways, enough about me, I hear you’ve gotten engaged to Aaron! Finally!”
You couldn’t help but laugh at her exasperation, “you sound like you’ve been anticipating this for some time, Eliza!”
“It only took you; remind me how long it was again? Five years. Honestly with all that flirtatious letter writing you were doing I was sure you’d be married years ago.”
“I just wanted to make sure he was the right person for me. Besides, he was so busy with his involvement in the army that we never got time to properly court before his retirement. This just happened to be the right time for it to happen!”
There was a twinge of worry that you saw on Eliza’s brow. “Is everything ok?” You asked with concern.
“No; I’m fine, you just reminded me that Alexander will still be fighting with General Washington when the winter clears. I wish that I could steal him away with me, but he’s too dutiful to stay behind.” She sighed.
Sensing that this train of thought would only lead to more anxiety, you led her over to the dance floor, “Put those thoughts aside, Eliza! From what Aaron tells me, Alexander is a man of his word, and a survivor. I have no doubt in what he says. This is a day of celebration and joy for you!
